Chapters Forest Star: The pony that cares and hates himself
The bright sun was already out and in the perfect spot to hit Forest Star right on his face as he slept. Soon he starts to slowly open his eyes after he turns his head so his face is away from the sunlight. He brings his hand up and rubs his eyes getting all of his eye boogers off of his eyes.
"Darn sun having to wake me up from the best sleep I've gotten since Friday." he stretched his body trying to limber himself before walking downstairs to the kitchen for his "breakfast".
"Hmm what is there to eat?" He looked in his fridge and all of his cabinets for something to eat and found nothing...nothing that sounded or looked good. He turned his head and caught a glimpse of the clock that read one thirty five in the afternoon and his eyes grew huge.
"CRAP! I was supposed to be at Applejack's house to hang out on her only day off two hours ago! Maybe if I hurry over there she will still want to hang out." He hops into the shower and gets clean before rushing over to Applejack's house. Once at Applejack's house, Forest Star walks up to the front door and knocks three times hoping his friend will answer.
"Howdy there Forest." Applejack greeted him with a smile on her face.
" Hey there AJ, are you still able to hang out?" He was hoping that it was a yes that he would hear.
"Ah can only hang out for a couple of hours sugarcube, then i have'ta prepare for bed cause ah got a lot of work ta do on tha farm."
Forest Star stood there smiling awkwardly while Applejack is standing there getting creeped out.
Why is AJ wanting to go to bed so early? What time does she get up to do work on the farm and how much does she do?
"Uh sugarcube, you alright?"
"Huh? oh yeah heh heh I'm fine AJ."
He stood there awkwardly laughing and smiling after Applejack brought him out of his thoughts.
"Where would you like to hang out at AJ?"
"Ah'm up for anywhere sugarcube."
"Okay lets go to the park and sit under that one tree with the nice sunset view."
Forest Star is blushing a little as he asked Applejack to the most romantic spot in Ponyville that he knew of.
"Sure lets go."
Forest Star moved out of the way and started to walk off of the porch and waited for Applejack to let her granny know that she was leaving.
"Hey Granny ah'm leaving to hang out with a friend."
She soon started to walk off of the porch and soon they were walking to the tree in the park.
"So how have you been AJ?"
"Ah've been alright sugarcube, but lately Ah've been sad and Ah don't know why."
"Would you like to talk about it?"
"Um Ah don't know sugarcube. It's about a friend of mine."
"Applejack I am your friend and I'll try and help in any way i can."
"Okay sugarcube. It's about Rainbow Dash."
"What about Rainbow Dash?"
"Ah... Ah l-love her..."
Forest Star feels hurt because he had feelings for Applejack and he was going to make his move today and now he finds out that Applejack is a lesbian.
"Oh um..."
Applejack is now crying because she was raised in a homophobic family so she has had this internal battle going on inside of her for years. Forest Star runs over and tries to comfort her as any good friend would do.
"Applejack it will be alright I promise. Just talk to me and I'll keep this strictly between us."
"Thank you sugarcube."
"Now talk to me AJ. When did this all happen?"
Forest Star and Applejack continue walking to the park to get to their destination.
"It all started when Ah saw her flying around and Ah saw how majestic her wings were as the sun hit them. Ah saw how her cyan blue coat shined in the sunlight and Ah saw how athletic her body was then Ah just fell for her."
"Hmm so kind of like love at first sight?"
"Exactly! Now Ah haven't told anypony yet so please keep this between us sugarcube."
"Of course AJ."
When the sun started to go down Forest Star and Applejack left the tree in the park and soon they were walking back to Applejack's house. They were both smiling and Applejack had felt relieved that she has gotten that off of her chest. Forest was smiling on the outside because he has helped his best friend with her problem, but on the inside he was disappointed because he hasn't payed attention to the signs that Applejack is a lesbian. Once they arrive at Applejack's house, they meet Granny Smith outside on the porch and walk up there.
"Thanks again sugarcube. Ah really do appreciate you hanging out with me."
"Hey no problem AJ. I'm glad you had a good time. I'll see you later."
"Bye sugarcube."
Forest Star starts to walk off of the porch and walk back to his house a smile on his face that Applejack is happy and that she trusts him with this newly found information. Forest Star looks at his watch to catch the time and gasps.
"Darn! I'm supposed to be in Canterlot to study the constellations with Princess Luna in forty five minutes!"
Forest Star gets ready and flies off to Canterlot to meet Princess Luna.

As Forest Star is flying to get to Princess Luna for their study session, he sees that the moon is starting to rise into the sky.
"Oh crap I better hurry if I want to get there in time."
He sped up his flying and as he looked down he noticed he was above Canterlot and he sighed relieved.
"Phew now I can slow down a bit and just glide to Princess Luna so we can study the stars."
"There thou are! We have been wondering when thou would be here."
Forest Star was surprised to hear his teacher and friends voice from beside him and he flew as fast as he could to the castle. Once there Princess Luna landed and was laughing as he was panting out of breath from her scare earlier.
"That was not funny whatsoever..."
"We found it hilarious Forest. Please do laugh at this joke."
"Ha ha ha very funny"
"We should get ready for our study session. Does thou have a writing utensil and paper?"
"I believe i do let me check my bag."
Forest grabs his backpack and looks inside for a pencil and tablet so he can take notes to better help him understand this subject.
This is going to be so much better than the time I tried to learn astronomy with Princess Twilight. I couldn't focus because she wouldn't stop talking.
Once he found the things he needed he pulled them out and laid them beside him as he zipped up his backpack.
"Okay Princess Luna I'm ready to learn about the stars."
"Alright and please, call me Luna."
"Okay Luna."
"I created the stars in the sky. I used my magic to create little lights for the night sky."
"Wow that is amazing Luna."
Forest Star was taking more notes for his study session and he started to yawn a little then yawned again a few seconds after his first one. He didn't know why he was yawning this bad during a very interesting study session about one of his favorite subjects and to learn about it from the one and only Princess Luna herself was an honor.
"Hey Luna, I hate to cut this short, but I am yawning and I have to get going to make sure that I'm up for cloud duty tomorrow morning."
"Alright Forest. We understand. We will see you later correct?"
"Of course you will see me later Luna."
After putting away his tablet and pencil Forest Star walks over and gives Princess Luna a hug and flies off heading to his house in Ponyville. Once he was flying away from the royal castle, Forest Star's eyes were barely open and they closed because his tiredness overtook him. As he was falling one pony caught him and flew him to her home in Cloudsdale.
"Heh, he's lucky I saw him or he would've been dead meat."
Forest Star starts to open his eyes to discover that he is in a different house and he is seeing a cyan blue Pegasus pony with a rainbow mane and tail sitting next the bed he was laying in.
"W-where am I? Who are you?"
"I'm Rainbow Dash and you are at my house because you were flying and something happened because I caught you as you fell."
"I f-fell? Why don't I remember?"
"I don't know man. What were you doing at the royal castle anyway?"
"I was studying the stars and constellations with Princess Luna then I remember telling her I had to go back home for cloud duty this morning and nothing after that."
"Hmm were you really tired?"
"Yeah actually I was very tired. I arrived there at ten O'clock at night and when I left I checked my watch and it read five forty five in the morning."
"Wow dude you are just like Twilight. Awake all night studying something. Egghead."
"I am not an egghead! I was interested in that subject so I found a study partner plus I tried to study the same subject with Twilight and I hated it because she wouldn't stick to the topic."
"Bwahahahahahah!!"
As Forest Star is sitting in Rainbow Dash's bed flustered Rainbow Dash is laughing so hard that she fell out of her chair onto the floor. Forest Star stands up and heads for the door to leave the room and eventually leave the house of this weird Pegasus.
"Thanks for what you've done for me Ms. Dash, but I need to really get back to my own house in Ponyville because I have things to do."
"Aww really? Just when this was getting better. You are funny and seem like a cool pony to hang out with."
"Thanks again and I'm afraid so Dash. I have a lot of things to do and I have to get ready to go and see Fluttershy tomorrow."
Forest Star walked out of the door and started to fly down to Ponyville to his own house. Once in front of his door he unlocked it and went inside flopping on his bed and passing out embracing sleep once again so he would be alright for his picnic with Fluttershy tomorrow.

Forest Star was asleep in his nice, big, and comfortable bed not wanting to get up. His alarm went off ten times already so he just turned it off and fell back to his bed trying to sleep some more. as he just started to fall asleep the sun beam shined right on his face, particularly on his closed eyes forcing him to wake up.
"Damn you sun. Why do you have to always wake me up from my sleep?"
He started to yawn and stretch his body to further wake himself up. As he was looking around his house he found that he had nothing to do and he wanted to stay inside today. he remembered that the city library lets ponies check out movies.
I can go to the Golden Oaks Library and probably get a movie so I won't be so fucking bored today.
He gets cleaned up so he isn't that appalling to everypony before he heads off to the library. As he is walking around town he notices that it is a very nice day outside. It's not too hot, yet too windy either.
I think I may just have to be social today since it is a beautiful day. The weather is just perfect for a long walk or some flying around.
Forest Star walks up to the library door and pushes it so he can get inside. As he pushes the door he hears a *ding* from the bell to let the librarian know there is a customer. He walks to the movie section and starts to look for his favorite genre of movie: horror. Unbeknownst to him Twilight Sparkle, the librarian, was behind him tending to reorganize books. As he is still looking for a movie that catches his eye he hears a faint scream as Twilight misstepped and was falling from the ladder. Forest Star turned to see where the scream came from and he saw Twilight falling from a very high spot. He readied himself and flew upwards catching Twilight on his back and landing letting her off safe and sound.
"Hey are you alright?"
"Uh oh yea thanks for catching me."
"It's not a problem uh miss..."
"Sparkle. Twilight Sparkle. And you are?"
"My name is Forest Star."
"Hey Twilight are you okay?!"
"Yes spike I'm fine thanks to Forest here."
Spike turns and sees the black and green Pegasus standing there in front of Twilight with a smile on his face. He didn't know what else to say or do other than leap forward and give the Pegasus a big hug and thank him for saving the person he considered a sister.
"Thank you so much for saving her Forest!"
"Heh heh it's not a problem Spike."
"So um what were you looking at before ya know?"
"Oh I was looking at the horror movies you have. I love horror movies."
"Hmm would you like any help searching for some?"
"Not at all."
Forest, Spike and Twilight walk over to the horror movie section again and start searching for a good movie.
"Oh I found one!"
"What is it Spike?"
Spike was holding up the movie Re-animator with a big smile on his face.
"Hmm it does look interesting. Put it in a pile over there on that chair."
Spike ran over to the chair Forest pointed to and went back to searching for movies.
"How about this one?"
"What is it Twilight?"
"It's the Equestrian Massacre"
"Oh my gosh! I absolutely love that movie! Definitely put it with Re-animator."
Twilight uses her magic to put it with the other movie and the three ponies continue searching for movies. Soon they have made a huge pile of movies and as they all look at the horror movie section it is almost empty with a few movies left in there.
"So I take it you are ready to check out and go and watch all these movies?"
"Heh heh I guess I am. Unless you would like to come to my house later and watch them with me?"
After the question was asked Twilight looked away a bit her face slowly becoming red. Realizing his mistake, Forest, too looked away his face becoming red, but not for the same reason as Twilight.
"Um sure. How about I be there at seven tonight?"
"S-sure thing. I'll see you then."
Forest got all of his movies and walked out of the library going to his house. Once there he walked in and realized how much of a mess his living room was. He cleaned his whole house from the time he got home which was twelve fifteen in the afternoon. It was now six thirty in the evening as he was finishing up.
"Finally done with that huge ass mess. Now to check the time and Oh my god! I only have thirty minutes to shower and get Twilight!"
Forest hurries up the stairs and jumps into the shower cleaning his whole body in about fifteen minutes. He then dries off and gets dressed in casual clothes. As he is leaving his house he sees Twilight and Spike half way to his house already. He walks forward to meet them.
"Hey there Twilight and Spike. Are you guys ready for some scary movies?"
"I'll be ready to watch them."
"Spike are you sure you can sleep after watching a scary movie?"
"Yes Twilight. I can handle a scary movie. I am not a baby anymore."
"Spike she was just making sure man. Calm down."
"Follow me Twilight and we'll be at my house in a couple of minutes."
As Forest Star turned around to walk back to his house Twilight and Spike followed behind him. Once at his house Forest unlocked and opened the door letting his guests enter first.
"Which movie should we watch first guys?"
"The scariest one you've got!"
"Are you absolutely sure about that? The one I have will scare all three of us so bad that we will never want to sleep again."
"Definitely! I am ready for some scares!"
"How about I take you up to my room and let you watch it by yourself since you are such a big macho man."
"Alright. Lets go."
Forest takes Spike up to his room and turns on the Television and DVD player and starts the movie. As he leaves the room he turns the light off and shuts the door heading back down to Twilight.
"Hey is Spike going to be alright?"
"Oh yea just turned the lights off and turned on a scary movie that would keep his attention."
"I don't know if that is safe."
"Twilight he will be fine I promise you that."
Forest walked back to the couch and sat down his hands together and was silently looking around the room thinking of how to tell her that he meant this as a friendly thing and not a date.
"Hey what's wrong Forest?"
"Remember when I asked if you wanted to come over and watch movies earlier?"
"Yeah what about it?"
"I saw how you turned away a bit because your face was getting red. I wanted to tell you I meant this as a friendly thing. I didn't want to lead you on like make you think this was a date or something."
Twilight let the statement sink in for a little bit and she was hurt badly because she thought that finally she had a shot at a special somepony and it turns out that she didn't. Now she is trying to still be a friend without running away and crying A.K.A pulling a Fluttershy.
"Twilight I'm sorry if I hurt you in any way. I didn't intend for this to happen."
"It's alright. I'll just be alone."
"Twilight please don't be like this. I'm sorry and I didn't want this to happen."
Twilight gets up and goes upstairs and is carrying Spike. Soon they leave the front door of Forest's house and are walking back to the library.
Forest i snow sitting on his couch sad about his mistake and the situation that he created.

Fixing the problem...or not
Running after Twilight, Forest Star is trying to catch up and trying to at least fix this problem. Before he gets close she teleports into the library obviously not wanting to be bothered so Forest Star slowly walks back to his house with his head down and his feelings hurt.
Dammit Forest! Way to go creeping out the librarian like that. I bet she fucking hates you now because of your brilliant genius. You have ruined every chance of making friends in this town just like the last town you were in. When will you ever fucking learn?
As these thoughts were going through Forest Star's head, tears had formed in his eyes and he started crying. soon after he broke down from the horrible thoughts he took off running back to his house so nobody would see him cry. Once he was there, he ran inside slamming the front door shut and locking it then running up to his room and laying on his bed crying his eyes out.
So much for being a big boy huh? I thought you were taught that big boys don't cry? If so then what the hell are you doing? You know this is your own fault and no one else is to blame, not even Twilight because you didn't tell her your mistake until later when she was already over here. You freaking idiot, how could you do something that stupid and not expect that outcome?
Forest Star laid there on his bed, his arms wrapped around a pillow as he continued to cry for twenty to thirty minutes over his mistake with Twilight. Maybe his thoughts were right all along and he was just a dumb ass stallion. He shook his head trying to look at the positive and nothing came to his head only more negative thoughts.
You really thought you could get rid of your own negative thoughts? You stupid loser. You can't get rid of something that YOU think of naturally. There is no positive side or silver lining in this situation. Just face it, YOU fucked up and now nobody wants to be your friend. You will never have any real friends only friends that will hurt you. I'm honestly a little bit shocked that you haven't caught on to this thread yet.
Forest Star stopped crying and laid in his bed just staring at his wall. His face was soaked with dry tears after the situation with Twilight and all of his negative thoughts. Being exhausted after all of this emotional stress he fell asleep, surprisingly he was up early and was clean and dressed. He gathered all of the movies and went back to the library to return them. Once he got there he pushed open the door and Twilight looked up to see who had walked in.
"Oh it's you. What do you want?"
"I came to return the movies I checked out yesterday and I wanted to apologize for my mistake yesterday."
Twilight grabbed the movies from the counter and put them back where they came from not uttering a word to Forest Star. She looked at him after all the movies were put away, alphabetically of course, and just sighed.
"I guess I'll go and leave you be since I messed up being anypony's friend. I am truly sorry Twilight."
Forest Star turns around and walks out of the library sad again over what happened. He continued walking back to his house so he could be alone for the rest of the day.
Great now you have really done it. You apologized to her twice and she didn't care. Does it remind you of any other god damn time you apologized to somepony?! When are you going to catch on to these ponies and their games? are you retarded or just slow?
Forest Star grabs his head and tries to make the negative thoughts stop so he can continue to walk home and be alone, but no they just keep coming and he starts to yell. As he is yelling to not hear his horrible thoughts, everypony around him stops and looks at him with weird looks. Nopony offers him help or tries to talk to him. All they do is stand there and stare at him before he stands up and runs back to his house and slams the door shut and locks it.
Great genius idiot, now everypony thinks that you're a lunatic. Pretty soon ponies are going to be here and they will take you away to a psych ward and everypony will believe that you are crazy. If you do go there just remember you are worth anypony's time for visitation. You will be there all alone besides the other whack jobs that are there.
"Just stop. Please JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!"
After screaming at his thoughts to leave him alone, Forest Star starts to sob while whispering "Just leave me alone..." continually into the night. As Forest Star lays on his living room floor his eyes red and his face once again having dry tears on it he doesn't move as he stares at the closed and locked front door until he hears a knock.

The End of Forest Star...or is it?
The moon was now in the sky surrounded by the billions of stars that illuminate the sky. Forest Star was still laying on the living room floor looking at the front door as he heard a knocking sound. He slowly approached the door and starts to unlock it and slightly open it to see who was knocking at this time of night.
"Forest? It is us. Please let us in."
"L-Luna? What are you doing here? Don't you have business to attend to back at the castle?"
"We have asked our sister to take care of it so we could come here and see if you were alright."
Forest Star reluctantly opened the door the rest of the way and moved out of the way letting his friend into his home. As Princess Luna enters her friends home she is overcome with excitement because it is different from the same old castle that she sees every single day.
"I haven't been alright Luna. I have messed up and now everypony thinks that I am a lunatic."
Forest Star gets on the floor his head down in his hands as he is about to cry again. He can feel the negative thoughts coming back and he is trying to make them not enter his fragile mind. Princess Luna turns around to see her friend about to cry, but knows that he is trying to be brave in front of her.
"Forest why are thou crying? Try talking with us. Maybe we can help?"
"Luna, I don't know if I can do that. I don't want to talk about all of my negative thoughts that have made me lay on this very floor and scream for twenty minutes."
"Forest may we take a look into your dreams?"
"I have to be able to sleep and since this happened I haven't been able to sleep at all."
Princess Luna gets up and walks into Forest's kitchen and starts to grab ingredients to create a home remedy that she was familiar with. As she stands there mixing the ingredients Forest starts to get up and walk into the kitchen where his friend is. When he gets into his kitchen Princess Luna turns and hands him the glass of her sleep remedy. Forest reluctantly drinks the liquid and is fine, for a couple of minutes before he passes out, his dead weight body falling to the floor.
"Now we can look in your dreams and find out what is causing you these horrible things."
Princess Luna sits on the couch and lights up her horn. She is concentrating on getting into Forest's dreams and see what is happening. After a couple of minutes Luna opens her eyes to a dark place in the woods and she faintly hears somepony sniffling. She gets up and starts to walk toward the sound, not finding anything. She does a complete circle around the entire forest and can't find this sniffling pony. Luna stops and stands in one spot, closes her eyes and just listens to help her find the sniffling pony. She soon starts walking again and went a different direction finding Forest Star in the center of a circle of trees.
"Forest? What is wrong?"
"L-Luna? H-How did you get here?"
"We are the Princess of the night and it is our duty to watch over ponies and make sure that they are alright."
"Well I am not alright."
A pony appears right by Forest Star. The mysterious pony is whispering negative and hurtful things to Forest Star and Forest Star is sitting there crying and holding a gun that the mysterious pony handed him.
"You are a stupid pony Forest. It was your fault that Twilight hates you."
"Please, stop this. You have tortured me enough."
"Oh really? How can your own thoughts torture you?! See that is where you are fucking stupid. You have these thoughts and think that they are a different pony. We are your own thoughts idiot!"
"So thou has hurt my dearest friend Forest?"
"Oh Princess Luna, how have you been?"
"Answer us! Has thou hurt Forest?"
"Of course not. He is just a stupid pony that messes up a lot and he hurts himself."
Luna looks at Forest with concern from what she is seeing and hearing from this mysterious pony.
Why would Forest do that to himself? Why can't he come and talk with us?
"He is just an idiotic pony that is a lunatic. He believes that his own thoughts are a real pony that he can talk to."
"My normal and happy thoughts are my only real friends..."
"Your own thoughts, no matter the emotion, are not real! Do I have to show you?"
The mysterious pony draws a diagram in the dirt showing how thoughts aren't real and only a part of the pony that thinks them.
"I have to escape this torment! I will do anything to escape this torture!"
"Oh shut the fuck up dumb ass. You can't escape your own thoughts. Why must you think thoughts and be a fucking idiot after you do?"
Forest Star slowly stands up, his head down and his right arm being lifted up. He points the gun to his head and turns to face his friend Luna.
"Princess Luna, my dearest friend. I wanted to say thank you, for everything."
Before Luna could say anything Forest pulled the trigger blowing his brains all over the ground and trees in the forest. Luna runs over and wraps her arms around the now lifeless body of Forest Star and begins to cry. As she is crying Forest Star's body is now disappearing. Luna closes her eyes and screams as her dearest friend is now gone forever. Suddenly she feels someone grab her arms and lightly shake her. Luna starts to open her eyes to see Forest Star standing in front her with no gunshot wound and he is very much alive. Luna jumps off of the couch and onto Forest Star with the biggest smile she has ever had.
"Hey! What happened with you?"
"We went inside your dreams to see what was wrong and we saw thou commit suicide."
As Luna told Forest about what she saw in his dreams she was visibly shaken and distraught. Forest hugged her to calm her down a little bit.
"I am sorry that you had to see all of that Princess Luna. I get like that sometimes and it sucks because when I am like that I don't talk to anyone and it's always the negative thoughts that make it worse for me."
"Just promise us that thou will talk when it happens again. We would be lost without thou as our friend."
"Princess I will definitely talk to you next time this happens. I don't want to hurt my friends and family."
Forest stood up and helped Princess Luna up then walked over to the couch where he sat down and let Luna cuddle against him as he turned on the television. They both smiled at each other and Forest started to cry tears of happiness.
"Thank you again Luna. I appreciate everything that you have done for me."
"Thou are welcome Forest."
The two ponies laid on the couch and watched TV until they both fell asleep still cuddled up against each other. Later the next day when Forest Star woke up, he discovered that Luna wasn't on the couch and looked around before finding a note.
Dear Forest,
We have had to return to the castle so that we could repay our sister for the favor she did for us. It was fun hanging out with thou last night. We wish to do it again sometime. Anyway we have to get to work.

Forest Star looked at the letter and was smiling. He was a fun guy to hang out with and he now had confirmation on it.
"Awesome. I'm glad that she had a good time and i'm truly grateful for what she did. Usually ponies hear that and just leave me alone and don't try to help or offer advice."
Realizing his lesson after the ordeal with Princess Luna, Forest Star walks over to the Golden Oaks Library to talk to Twilight. As Forest walks up to the door he sees a sign saying that the library is closed. He frowns a bit and turns right to continue to Applejack's house. As he is walking he hears someone call his name.
"Forest!"
Forest Star turns around to see Spike waving and yelling at him. Curious he goes over to the baby dragon.
"Hey Spike. What's going on?"
"I saw you walking by and I figured you wanted to talk to Twilight."
"Yeah. I need to talk to her and see if we can put that mistake behind us."
"Well she isn't here, but I can write a letter to her for you."
"Spike as much as I appreciate the offer I need to do this myself. Just let me know when she gets back."
Forest Star turns back around and continues on his way to Applejack's house. Once he gets close he starts to hear some chatting between some ponies so he starts to slow down to try and figure out who is talking. As he gets closer to the house he passes the barn where the chatter was crystal clear.
"Rainbow, Ah have something to tell you."
"Yeah? What is it?"
"Ah am in love with you. Ah have been for a long time."
Forest Star instantly blushed as he knew it was Applejack and Rainbow Dash. He didn't want to eavesdrop on their conversation, but he also didn't want to leave and come back at a horrible time. He stayed a few feet away before looking at the apple trees and just started walking in the apple acres. When he came back up to the house he saw Applejack and Rainbow Dash hugging and smiling at each other.
"Hey AJ!"
Applejack and Rainbow Dash, her newly found lover, turn and look at Forest both in shock that they were being affectionate and someone found out already.
"I am glad for you two."
The two lesbian ponies started to blush, but shyly smiled at Forest Star. He hugs his friends and smiles at both of them.
"Hey uh Forest?"
"Yes? What is it guys?"
"What happened between you and Twilight?"
After explaining the whole story to Applejack and Rainbow Dash, Forest Star was exhausted mentally. He had to tell them the whole long story about a mistake that happened and how Twilight overreacted when he tried to tell her.
"Ah'm sorry Forest. She does do that sometimes."
"I know that Applejack and that's why I will talk with her once she gets back from wherever she is."
"Uh? What now?"
"On my way here Spike saw me and figured I wanted to talk to Twilight. I told him yes I did and he told me that she wasn't at the library. I asked him to let me know when she came back so I could talk to her."
Applejack and Rainbow Dash stand there with blank expressions on their faces and Forest Star sighs not wanting to explain the whole story again.
"Look guys I'm going to go back to my house and just sit down and relax."
Forest Star turns around and waves bye to his friends and heads back to his house. On the way back to his house Spike caught him again.
"Hey Forest, Twilight is at the Library and is expecting you."
"Thanks buddy. Lets go."
As they continue to walk they get to the library in what seems like no time and Forest Star sees Twilight outside waiting for him.
"Hey Twilight."
"Oh hey there Forest. Spike told me that you wanted to talk."
"Yes I would like to talk to you in private just us please."
Twilight invites him in the library and they both go up to her room. Once there Twilight puts a magical barrier up so Spike doesn't hear any part of the conversation.
"I assume you want to yell at me so if you do then go ahead."
"Why would I want to yell at you?"
"You aren't mad at me for my mistake that I made?"
"Oh I'm upset, but I'm willing to talk to you."
"Twilight what more do you want me to do? I have apologized to you several times and you have done nothing, but push me away and blow me off."
"Oh I was busy Forest. I am sorry and I mistook what you said."
"Twilight I know that and I should have told you sooner, like right after I said it, and maybe this wouldn't have happened. Can we just put this behind us and start over with a clean slate?"
"I'd like that Forest."
Forest Star leans in and hugs Twilight, who hugs Forest back showing that the issue is forgiven and now forgotten. As they come downstairs Forest heads for the door and starts to leave.
"I'll see you later Twilight. Don't want to have you breaking the rules now."
"Alright Forest. See you later."
Forest Star is now walking back to his house and once he gets there he opens the door walking inside and flopping on his couch. He gets comfortable then his body tells him he has to pee so now he groans and gets up to go to the restroom. Once he gets back he walks over to an open window and looked out into the horizon, his eyes full of optimism and hope. He feels ready for anything and is ready for the rest of whatever may come his way. As long as he has his friends then he will overcome anything.
