"Ugh... I've never felt this bored in a loooong time." Pinkie moans.
"Same." I tell her.
"We should go ask if anypony wants to go do something fun! I know Thanny might!" Pinkie yells, Jumping up.
I shake my head.
"He's helping Twilight with some crazy experiment or something." I tell her.
She's slightly less perky now.
"I guess that rules off Twilight and Thanny..." She said.
"Let's go see what the others are doing." I say.
She jumps up.
"Ok!"
"Ah'm sorry. Ah've got all these apples t' get t' the market an' sell." Applejack said, bucking an apple tree.
"Okey Dokey!" Pinkie said, slightly less enthusiastic.
"But when ah'm done ah'll come an' hang with y'all." Applejack added, smiling.
I nod.
"Oh I'm sorry Pinkie dear. I've got all these dress orders to finish. It'll keep me busy for quite a bit of the morning and afternoon." Rarity explains.
"Oh, But of course I will come see you after I'm all done!" She then adds.
"Ok." Pinkie replied.
"Don't lose hope, There's still Dash and maybe Flutters will want to sit and have some tea or something." I tell her.
"I can't believe I forgot about Dashie!" She says, dashing off.
"I can't pinks." Dash replied.
"Why?!" Pinkie shouts.
"I've got all these clouds to clear by tonight. It's supposed to be clear all night tonight and several workers are out sick or injured. Mostly sick." Rainbow explained.
"Well, Let's go see shy." I say to Pinkie.
"Okay..."
"Oh uh... I can't right now..." Fluttershy meekly replied.
We look into her house. It's full of rampaging animals.
"Angel Bunny got into a fight with the other animals and I have to calm them down... but it's been hard..." She says.
"We understand." I tell her, scratching her behind her ear.
Pinkie sighs.
"Come on..."
Pinkie flops on her stomach.
"I can't believe everypony is busy except for us!" She cries.
"Well to be honest... You will once the lunch rush is going on." I point out.
"Point taken..." She says.
"But should you be helping twilight?" She then asks.
"... Nope! Wouldn't dream of it!" I shout.
"She's doing one of tho-"
"Yep!"
Pinkie giggles.
"I just got the best idea ever!" She shouts jumping into the air.
"Lay it on me, Pinkie." I tell her.
"Let's go prank ponies!" She says.
"Yeah ok. I haven't pranked anyone since a few years before I came here." I say.
"I'll go get the pranking gear, you bring your A-game." Pinkie says, narrowing her eyes.
I nod.
Waiting in a bush, we spy our first victim, Lyra Heartstrings. The prank was mildly simple, Pinkie is to hold up a cardboard cutout of Adrian, despite it being crudely drawn. I will try to imitate my Brother's voice and Lyra will hear it. When she jumps for it, we'll lower it and she'll crash into a giant bucket of whipped cream. Then we run.
"You ready Orphey!?" Pinkie whispers.
I give a thumbs up and cough. Pinkie raises the cutout.
"Hey! Lyra!" I shout in my best imitation.
"Huh?" She says, turning around.
Her eyes grow wide.
"Thanatos!" She yelps, running.
"Lower it!" I whisper-shout to Pinkie.
She does and Lyra goes sailing into the bucket of whipped cream.
"Ppppppfffttttt..." Pinkie struggles to hold in her laughter.
I, However, break out in laughter. Pinkie then joins me.
"PIIIINNKKIIIIEEEEEE!" Lyra shouts, glaring at the both of us.
"RUN!" We both shout.
A little while later we spot our next Victim, Raindrops. Raindrops, from what I've seen isn't one for napping but today she was resting on a low level cloud.
"Ready Pinks?" I ask.
She pulls out an airhorn. We silently sneak over. When we get to the cloud I lift her up as high as I can. A second later I hear the airhorn go off and we take off.
"PIIIIINNNKIIIEEEE!"
"I have to check something reeeaalll quick." Pinkie says, dashing off.
I wait for a bit until I find mysle-
"Sorry about the author muting you Orphey." Pinkie sighs.
"Uh... Yeah... Let's not speak of that again." I tell her.
"Speak of what?" She adds a wink.
"Exactly."
We walk around for a bit until we spot AJ selling some apples. Pinkie sticks some fake fangs in her mouth and sneaks off. I watch from afar as she tries her best to climb into the apple bucket. When Applejack tries to grab some apples, Pinkie jumps out and hisses.
"GAAH!" Applejack cries.
She then laughs a little.
"Good one Pinkie." She laughs.
"Thanks Applejack!" She says, trotting back over.
"Did you see her face!?" She laughs.
"It was priceless!" I laugh.
"Who shall be our next prankee?" She then asks, a mustache suddenly on her face.
She rubs her hooves maliciously and looks around.
"NOOOO! STAY BACK!" I hear Adrian shout.
He barrels through the market with Twilight on his heels.
"Come back! I'm not done with the reflex test!" She shouts.
We both stare.
"Let us not talk about that again." I mutter to her.
"Agreed." She briskly says.
We then proceeded to exit the market area.
"The one pony we have to watch out for is Fluttershy." I say, looking at the list of ponyvillians we've pranked.
"Yeah. If she was a little tougher then we could prank her." She says, refilling her pen with invisible ink.
"What about that new pegasus? Uhhh... Surprise was it?" I ask.
"Ooh! We haven't gotten her yet!" She says.
At that moment the said Pegasus decided to crash into the window. She was a pure white Pegasus dressed in a wonderbolt's costume. Her mane was very much like Pinkie's, except yellow. Her goggles are all fogged up, hence why she crashed.
"Looks like we got her now." I say.
"Ah.. She found the frosted goggles prank... I was wondering where those went." Pinkie said, wincing.
She opens the window.
"Sorry Surprise!" She shouts.
Surprise waves a hoof saying she's ok.
"The only ponies we haven't gotten are our friends, Minus Fluttershy and Applejack." She says.
"... We should do a massive prank." I say.
"Massive? I'm liking this idea..." She says.
"Go on?" She asks.
Everything was in place. We had told Mr. and Mrs. Cake about it and they agreed to close the corner early that day, after a lot of persuasion. Once the lights were off... Then the prank shall begin.... Our first victim for this prank was RD.
"Hey. Pinkie? You said to meet you at sugarcube corner once it was closed?" She yells.
"Heeeyy Dashie!" She says, coming out with her hair damp.
"Glad you could join us...." I say in my most creepiest voice.'
Yes, We were doing a Cupcakes prank to all of our friends. No one was going to get hurt. For added creepiness I had pulled off my harp and started to hit it against my hand repeatedly.
"What the? Are you two ok?" RD asks.
"Juuust fine!" Pinkie replies.
I nod.
"Rrriight... Well are we going to start? I just got done so..." She trailed off.
"Down here." I instruct, pointing to the basement.
"Uh... Orpheus.... Are you-"
I glare at her.
"Just do it." I snap.
She recoils a bit and walks down. When she get to the bottom I turn on the lights and jump her.
"Prepare... FOR CUDDLES!" I shout.
"What?!"
Pinkie starts to giggle as she turns on the lights to see me sitting on top of Dashie.
"We totally got you!" I laugh.
She pouts.
"Fine. You got me." She groans.
"Hey, Can you go get Rarity?" Pinkie asks.
"Are you going to do the same thing to her?" RD smiles.
Pinkie and I nod.
"Then I'll gladly do it, If I can watch and see her reaction." She bargained.
"Deal." We both say.
I start to dip my fingers in red dye and smear it all over my body. Rainbow is going to lie down in there, covered in dye. Pinkie has covered her hooves and parts of her legs in dye as well. I put a little on the edge of my harp.
"She's coming!" Rainbow shouts, barreling in.
Pinkie and her rush to the basement to prepare. Knowing Dash, she's just barreled back here afterwards. I decided to remix this prank up a bit instead for Rarity. Instead I was going to go down and use an Gurentou against the wall. Pinkie and RD are going to scream and I'll walk back up once rarity had come in and push her down.
"Hello? Darlings?"
"Wow, Dashie. You were serious, she was coming quick." Pinkie whispers.
I cough a little.
"Down here Rares!" I shout.
Pinkie squeals and RD shouts, trying to mimic pain.
"I SAID STAY DOWN! GURENTOU!" I shout, seeing my harp flare up.
I made sure the light reached the door before slashing it against the wall. Pinkie and RD yell, mimicking pain. I quickly turn off the light and walk back up to greet rarity, snickering in my head. She gasps at my appearance.
"Why! What did you do?!" She shouts.
I quickly grab her before she has a chance to escape and toss her downstairs in the basement. I flick on the light. Pinkie and Dash had piled themselves up on top of each other to look like corpses. Rarity screams.
"Rainbow! Pinkie Pie!" She screams in terror.
"What did you do to them!" She shouts.
"The same thing I'm going to do to you..." I say, dropping my harp with a bang.
"CUDDLEESSSS!" I shout, jumping her.
She screams as I jump on her. Pinkie and Dash start to giggle.
"What... this was all-" She starts.
"A prank!" I laugh.
"I haven't had this much fun in forever!" I say, propping myself against the wall.
The Dash pushes herself off Pinkie and falls back down with laughter.
"That was not funny!" Rarity scolds.
"Fine... Mind finding Twi and my Brother?" I ask.
Rarity sighs.
"Fine."
"You in for the last round Dash?" I ask.
"You know it! This time, I'll be here, waiting." She says.
Pinkie comes back up from the basement.
"All set." She smirks.
I turn to dash.
"You have to be creepy remember. Ok?" I ask.
"Got it. Creepy." She says, retouching up her appearance.
"I'll be waiting down there." I say.
What we're going to do this time is I'm going to be hanging from a wall with a prop Axe stuck in my throat. It has a hole specifically for ponies to stick their neck in and it's made of special kind of weird foam. It's not foam per se... It's a magical substance that has a ridiculous name. Anyways, Pinkie will be back on the floor and my harp will be where it was dropped in the last prank. Since my head is the only part that's real, it makes sense that a murderer would go for my head instead of any other part of my body.
"She's coming." I hear Rarity speak calmly.
I close my eyes and hang limply. I hear pinkie's small giggles. She must be trying to get them out before the real event comes.
"RAINBOW! What the hell happened!" I hear Adrian shout.
"Oh... N-nothing..." She says.
Good lie RD. If AJ was here, She'd butchered it.
"Rainbow, are you sure nothing happened?" Twilight's voice echoed.
"Just stop with the questions! Sheesh!" She yells.
"Why is the- Oh no."
CRAP CRAP CRAP I FORGOT I HAD SHOWN ADRIAN CUPCAKES AND RAINBOW FACTORY! Or he has found my harp. Most likely the latter.
"Huh?" Twilight says.
"Ohnonononono! His voice gets closer until.
"NOOOOO!" He shouts.
I hear Twilight scream. I open one eye slightly. Adrian is a wreck. I'm so dead once he figures this is a prank...
"JAKE!" He shouts.
I look behind them. RD winks. I wink back.
"What did you do Rainbow!" Twilight shouts.
"The same thing.. I'm going to do to you..." She says, smiling.
Then she glomps them.
"GAAAHHH!!! GETOFFMEGETOFFMEGETTOFMEEEEE!" Adrian shouts.
I can't hold it anymore and fall to the ground laughing.
"You-face! BWAHAHAHAA!" I laugh.
Pinkie and Dash begin to laugh as well.
"This... Was just.. A prank?!" Twilight shouts.
"Y-yeah sorry Twi." I say calming down.
She glares at all of us.
"Just one prank..." RD mutters, scrubbing Twilight's library floor.
I sigh. I put a book back on the shelf.
"I'm sorry." I sigh.
"So... Who's was the best reaction?" Pinkie asks, dusting the window.
I look at Dash.
"Adrian's." I say.
"Thanatos's." She says.
"Oh haha." He says, looking up from a Daring Do book.
"Hey, Just a couple more minutes to go." Twilight says, smirking.
"Y'know, I just realized something." Adrian says.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"Back on earth, Today would be April 1rst." He says.
I fall over laughing.
"So today would have been April Foals Day for you?" Pinkie asks.
"Yep! It's kinda funny that we decided to prank today of all days!" I say, standing up.
"Happy April Fools Day!" I tell Adrian.
"Bah humbug." He says, throwing a book at me.
