Dash woke up with the early sun shining down on her face. Outside she heard the call of a Rainbow Dash as it flew in the sky. The time was 10:00 and it was- wait, 10:00!?!?

"Whooooooaaaa!" Dash sat up in bed, lost her balance, and fell on the hard floor face first. She peeled her muzzle of the ground, her eyes goggling about. She got up and slapped on her light blue saddlebags, loading them with Pokeballs of all kinds. She slapped on a epic hat and launched herself out the window. She somersaulted and catapulted. Dash finally became upright and flying. She was late for her Ponymon choosing! "I'm going to choose Applejack! Or maybe Vinyl Scratch... Perhaps Sweetie Belle, but then I would have to go through more evolution stages...." Dash face planted in the side of a white marble building. "Well, found the Lab."

Dash landed on the ground and cantered into the Lab. She was met with a cold yet playful stare from Proffesor Bigmac.

"You're late." He growled.

"I know. Can I just choose my Ponymon?" Dash flicked her ear, irritated with the grumpy and secretive behavior of the Professor. Her hoof extended to the Pokeball in the middle of the three. It opened with a click and landed on the floor with a hollow noise. No Applejack. Vinyl? No. Sweetie Belle? Nothing still!

"I believe there is none left. Eeyup, not a speck o dust."

"Proffesor, isn't there ONE!?"

"Well, ah reckon that there's something for ya. Why don't you see to that button?"

Dash wasted no time, her hoof slamming on the small white button. A tiny platform rose up and revealed a Pokeball with a small feather on it. A dodo feather. It shone like a newly blossomed Morning Glory in the sunlight sprinkled with dewdrops. She pressed the button delicately. It opened slowly. Out popped a Scootaloo.... A Scootaloo?

The Ponymon jumped onto the ground. "Scootaloo! Scoot-scoot alooooo!" It warbled. It wandered in circles around its new trainer, checking her over like a cat dies a newfound stolen kitten.

"A Scootaloo? How.... What.... Why..., Isn't there another?"

Big Macs gaze hardened. "Eeeenope. That or nothin', I'm clean out."

Dash felt tiny under the gaze of the massive Clydesdale. "This please.." She peeped weakly. Dash turned to her new Starter. "Scoots, return!" The Ponymon glided into the Ponyball. "Scootaloo!" It chirped one more time cheerfully. Dash trotted off, Ponydex peeping out of the saddlebag. "Later Bigmac!" She flew out the door into the sky. The trees soon were all she saw and she let out to the undergrowth of the woods slowly.

She touched down and looked about. Great. She had landed in tall grass like it was nothing. One of her wings slid into her bag and cradled the Ponyball that held Scootaloo. Just as she suspected, a wild Elusive burst into view, horn poised for battle.

"Go, Scoots!" Dash chucked the Ponyball at the Stallion's face. It clunked on the ground and popped open.

"Scootaloo!" The Ponymon yowled.

Dash wasted no time. "Flightless Fury, now!"

Scootaloo dragged her hooves through the dust as she hovered, madly flitting her wings. The dust cloud made it hard for Elusive to know where to strike. Scoots burst out of the dust behind Elusive and ride her scooter up his back. It created a long cut all the way up his spine.

"Elusive!!" He screamed in pain. He whipped his head back and forth madly. Then he used Suffocation Cloth, trapping the younger Ponymon's head in a purple square cloth.

Dash flapped her wings idly as she pondered her options. She finally came up with the best one possible. "Resourceful Whip, Scoots!!!! Whip his head with the cloth!"

Scootaloo dragged the cloth off her face and began working it like she was wringing out a wet towel. Then she lashed Elusive across the face with it. Elusive fell onto the floor and the cloth disappeared. The fight had been won. Scootaloo was still heaving in massive breaths. Her red scooter was in two nearby, but it became one again. Scootaloo hopped into the ball without needing to be told. The filly disappeared with her scooter and it was quiet.

Dash had just won her first Ponybattle.
