In Pursuit of Magic
In which Twilight Sparkle travels the world in an attempt to document the different types of magic.
After meeting an unusual visitor, Twilight Sparkle becomes brutally aware of how little she really knows about magic. Driven by wanderlust, she leaves Ponyville under the pretense of completing a compendium of magics and arcanery found across the world.
This is a story in two parts: the first part being the story proper, the accounts of Twilight's journeys in pursuit of magic; the second part is a reproduction of the dissertation she writes along the way.
