The night was dark, the moon full. The Everfree Forest was dark and surprisingly quiet. But had anyone listened harder, they would have heard strange, eerie whispers, maybe seen the rare flash of a dark, dark blue blob as it darted by. It would have been impossible to identify, but an expert who knew of what it was might have been able to identify the figure..... The miasma.
From within the woods, the same dark blue thing soared through the air. With a whip of it's back end, a glowing green eye of a manticore opened as it awoke from its sleep with a roar. The water from a nearby river turned murky and angry, flooding miles of lands that were once dry. And finally, after doing those two deeds and many more, it flew up to a white and gold castle that seemed to gleam in the moonlight. It then was inside in a flash. The only sounds heard after this was the sound of a scream of terror, followed by a most bloodcurdling cackle.
