//-------------------------------------------------------// This is Not the End: Twilight's Final Farewells -by Auto Tune- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue It had been years since Twilight first became an alicorn, and it had been two years since she learned that she was going to outlive her friends. Her initial reaction to being told that she was immortal was a sense of excitement, but it hadn't taken her long to understand that being immortal meant that she was going to outlive all of her friends apart from the princesses. Knowing that she was going to outlive her friends didn't help the fact that she was going to be the one to take them to the heavens where they would live as angelic figures for the rest of eternity. She was the "Angel of Death" after all, whether she liked it or not. She got out of bed slowly, making sure that she didn't wake the alicorn that was sleeping beside her. Twilight smiled slightly as she looked at the beautiful figure that lay there, sound asleep. Luna was quite the mare, and Twilight was glad that she had found her in the first place. Sure, they didn't have intimate moments with each other like she did with Celestia when she was still a unicorn, but she loved Luna dearly. She leaned over the bed and gently kissed the sleeping mare's cheek. "Oh Luna," she whispered. "You're so adorable when you sleep." Luna stirred slightly, blush appearing on her face as she did, but she didn't awaken from her slumber. Sighing, Twilight slipped out of the room and walked down towards the kitchen. On the way, she passed multiple guards, who each bowed down to her. She payed little attention to them and continued walking on her designated path. "Um, excuse me princess." She turned slowly, her eyes meeting the gaze of somepony that she used to crush on. Sure, she still had some feelings for him, but he was only a Royal Guard and nothing more. "Yes Private?" "Pardon the interruption, but I was just wondering if you are in need of any assistance." She chuckled slightly, a hint of blush appearing on her cheeks. Quickly, she composed herself and cleared her throat. "There is no need to assist me, Private. Now, go about your duties." "Y-yes your highness." With that, he walked away, probably to go into Celestia's room and carry out her every need. Twilight turned once more and continued on her path. She grabbed herself something to eat and briskly walked out of Canterlot and headed towards her castle, where the rest of her friends resided. She opened up the doors and stepped inside, only to be greeted by complete silence. "Where is everypony?" Her voice reverberated throughout the castle, and as if on cue, there came a swarm of laughter. She sighed, smiling slightly, and said, "Okay, come on out, you know that I don't like to play games." One by one, a group of fillies and colts scurried out from behind various decorative items and lined up in front of her. "Hi Auntie Twilight," they exclaimed in unison. Twilight smiled her usual smile and said, "Hi guys. Where are your parents?" Each of the foals looked at each other, smiled, and as one said, "They're still asleep, but we've been awake for hours. Spike was watching us, but then we decided to play hide and seek with him. He's still looking for us though." Just as they finished what they were saying, Spike came around the corner. He looked exhausted, which wasn't a surprise, since he had been foal-sitting all morning. "There you are! Where were you guys? I've been looking all over the castle for you six!" They squealed with excitement and took off through the various six doorways that branched out from the main corridor. Spike groaned and went through one of the doorways. "Well," he grumbled. "I'll see you later Twi. You should go and talk to the others though. It's been a while since they've last seen you. You know, with you being with Princess Luna and all, it would make sense that they would be missing you. She watched as her lifelong friend walked away into the maze-like hallways of the castle and disappeared. Twilight then walked up the staircase that led to each of her friend's respective rooms. She hadn't walked up the stairs in what felt like centuries. With each step she took, a small cloud of dust flew up around her hooves. She hadn't seen the girls in two years, not since she received the news that they were going to die long before she would. That was, if she was going to die in the far future. She knew that they all ended up falling in love with one another due to a faulty spell that Cadence had cast which was supposed to help the five girls find their true soulmates. Instead, they fell for each other. Applejack married Rainbow Dash and together, they had two foals. One was a colt, while the other was a filly. They were both beautiful in their own ways, and Twilight enjoyed the company of the two young foals. They represented their parents perfectly. Apple Blitz, the son of Applejack and Rainbow, was just as good of a flyer as Dashie herself. Although he resembled Applejack physically, he had the flying skills of Rainbow Dash. His coat was a royal blue, and his mane was a dark brown, which was somewhat abnormal, but it was overlooked. ((Insert paragraph about daughter here)) Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy both married in the end, although it took some coaxing on Pinkie's behalf. Together, they had two party-loving colts and one shy yet energetic little filly. ((Insert paragraphs about children)) Rarity has the hardest time however. When Cadence cast the spell, it effected her by making her fall in love with a rock that she ended up naming Tom. At first, Spike was furious about this, but as time passed, he accepted it and let go of all his fantasies. In fact, he found love on an Earth Pony by the name of Carrot Top. Now, it was supposed to be impossible for Rarity to become impregnated by a rock, but she somehow did it. After the birth of her only foal, which turned out to be a colt, everpony took notice that he looked like her in every single way. As he grew older, he began to act exactly like Rarity did. Finally, after much observation, Twilight confronted Rarity about her son, to which her response was, "Okay, I admit it! No, Tom did not impregnate me.. It.. It was me!" She then took off down the halls, tears streaming down her face as she did. Spike had been standing behind Twilight unnoticed before finally saying, "So she had a horngasm and used her magic to shove her own juices into herself? That is disgusting.."
