Mother locked me in my room. I don't like the dark.. No.. It was already too late. They're already watching me, waiting for me. I need a coffee, fast. Mother would never understand, and she never listens. They are hunting me down, they want me. It's good that I keep a good stash of coffee packets behind my painting, mother was not clever enough to find them. But I know they will one day get me, but.. Not today.. No. I only have five weekdays of being grounded, I can go through this, and I will be set free. I had no water, I had to eat the coffee powder in one of the packets, it was too much to be able to swallow, but it kept me awake for the night.
There I stared, into the darkness. I can feel their eyes piercing through me. Ever so patiently, they watch me, they will know that one day, I will fall. I see nothing but pitch blackness, my eyes quickly dash from one place to another, knowing their presence is coming closer each day.
I'm becoming weaker, I haven't slept in weeks, yet they still stand there, with their eerie white eyes silently, yet terrifyingly. They won't get me, I won't let myself fall to them.

Two days have passed, and I'm still imprisoned in my dark and horrible room. Mother wants me to sleep, she denies me, she never understands that they are coming for me. I only have a few days to survive with my remaining amount of coffee packets, however, I'm running out fast. I need my coffee to survive, it's my food and drink, it's my hope to live.
Later that night, everything felt a bit different. Don't get me wrong, they were still there, but even closer. So close that I could see a faint silhouette from the moonlight that seeps through a small gap on my wall. They were becoming real, I could almost feel their gaze as they watch me fight through the night and day. I begged my mother to let me go, but she rejected my plead. Mother is a very cruel pony, she never even tries to understand my situation. She never believes.

I'm on the fourth day, my joy overwhelms me as I realize that my struggle of surviving is coming to a close. I had one packet left, but that didn't matter to me, for my adrenaline due to excitement helped me stay awake that night. The coffee can wait for emergencies. I sat at my corner with a joyous smile upon my face as I stared back at them, they who hunt me. They're now in front of me, but I did not care the slightest. I am defeating them, and by tomorrow, I'll be able to talk to my friends again. Their appearance were now clear to me, they were dark-blue ponies with pure white eyes and a wide smile, their lips come across the side of their eyes. I got terrified and panicked internally as I saw them move closer. Go away! I'm awake! You can't get me!

When I opened my eyes after guarding myself with my hooves in fear, I didn't see them anymore, all I saw was a ray of sunlight seeping into my room. My happiness grew off the charts, and I ran to my door, knocking violently against it, demanding to leave the room. After a couple of minutes, mother opened the door with her gruesome expression, but I never cared, I am free now! My heart was overfilled as I ran downstairs to the living room.
The living room was unusually dark, did mother not open the curtains? I looked back at the stairs and saw mother... She was.. Staring at me with.. A familiar face.. No.. It can't be.. Mother's eyes were glowing white, with her lips smiling so much it went beside her eyes. No, I'm awake. I'm awake. They lost... It can't be... I.. Fell asleep.
