There she was! Finally! Discord grinned as the world's most beautiful mare flew toward him, a basket in her arms, and a flower in her mane. "Fluttershy!" he greeted her pleasantly," At last! What took you so long?"
"Well," Fluttershy replied." Umm-Angel bunny didn't really want me to go with you. You know, he rather has a bad impression...." Fluttershy gazed guiltily at Discord as she set the basket on the sunny spot they had arranged for a wonderful picnic.
"That demon bunny," Discord muttered. Then he brightened up. With a flick of his claw, delectable food appeared ! "Well, Flutters, dear, I've brought some lemonade, cotton candy, spaghetti, ham sandwiches, and what the heck is that? Oh of course, Voila! Your favorite strawberry honey cake! Well, what did you bring?"
Fluttershy twirled the ends of her pink mane nervously. "Umm, homemade chocolate ice cream and um- um-salads." She flushed a brilliant red as she got out some plates, glasses, and bowls.
"Oh," Discord gave a smile and scowl-in between. "That's er-er-nice."
"You don't seem to like the food right?" Fluttershy inquired, raising an eyebrow.
"NONONONONO!" Discord sputtered. "I told you it's ...fine. Don't you worry, I can make the food I like by magic!"
"You don't need to do that!" The pegasus raised a hoof in alarm, "My friends are going to bring more!"
"Wh-what?" Discord's eyes widen in surprise and shock," You said what? Your friends are coming?"
Fluttershy clearly knew that her words angered Discord. "Um, um..."
"YOU, MY DEAR, I THOUGHT WE'RE HAVING A PICNIC TOGETHER! NOT WITH YOUR SNOOPY FRIENDS COMING TO BOTHER US!" exploded Discord. Putting on puppy eyes, he cooed,"Can't you get some kindness toward this poor old draconequus? So-called element of kindness indeed!" Discord crossed his arms, hating to look at the mare crying which broke his heart.
" I-I-I'm sorry Discord. I-I didn't know you'd be s-so angry," Fluttershy said, a silver tear running out of her eyes. "I thought we had become friends."
"Well, we certainly did." Discord rolled his eyes. " But I want to spend some quality time with you...alone." He said the word as if it was poison against him now.
Fluttershy bit her lip. "I'm-so sorry."
"You said that before!" Discord bellowed. "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry," imitated Discord, a look of a sadness and angriness on his face. With that, Fluttershy found herself on the grass, waves of water splashing out of her eyes.
Discord was sorry. He hated to see Fluttershy like this. His best friend. Please... Stop crying. Just come on! "Fluttershy," he approached the pegasus," I'm sorry."
Fluttershy gazed up. There was Discord, holding his paw in front of her. She stiffly took hold of it. Slowly. Steadily. Then to the chaotic creature's extreme surprise, the mare raced into his arms and sobbed into it.
"I'm sorry, Discord, really," Fluttershy cried," Next time I'll let you know."
"Okay. Hug?"
They snuggled closer. But someone stopped them hugging, much to Discord's annoyance.
"Paw and claw off Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash gave a karate kick to separate them apart.
"Urgh, you ponies, she lets me hug her!" Discord grumbled, gently letting go of the soft pony.
"Well girls, time for a picnic with Discord!" Fluttershy announced.
The Mane 5 grudgingly put down their baskets, slowly bringing out delicious food!
"Yum, Fluttershy,this spaghetti is really good!" Twilight Sparkle munched happily," You made it?"
"Actually, Discord did." Fluttershy answered, giggling.
The alicorn stiffened. "Oh."
As the ponies talked rather joyfully, Discord was quite bored being so good. "Let's bring this goody-goody to an end." He flicked his tail. Nopony saw it. They were so busy chatting and enjoying the picnic.
Discord gave a grin. A kind of evil grin. "Not paying attention to me, eh?" he thought, a wicked thought in his mind it is. " Later you'll soon see that chaos is worth everything."
You see, he just wanted attention. ATTENTION! He's The Lord of chaos and everyone shall notice him! Stirring up some sort of magic with his tail. MWAHAHAHAHAAHHA!
