Duty For The Princess

It was a beautiful day in Ponyville, one that was simply perfect for a small flight. Rainbow Dash enjoyed the sun tickling her coat and wings while she glided on an early spring breeze over the small town. She enjoyed it until a purple trail shot past her, causing her to lose her concentration and altitude.

Rainbow quickly caught herself and groaned, looking for the disturber. She found the trail rather quickly, heading straight for a tree. The next thing she heard was a scream as the object crashed into the crown of the tree, shaking it to its core. The prismatic mare quickly flew to it, just in time to see a certain purple alicorn fall out of it.

“Hey, egghead. You alright?” Rainbow asked once she landed next to the grounded alicorn.

As she got nothing but a few mumbles and coughs from the stricken alicorn, Dash unfolded her right wing, poking Twilight with it. “Twi, are you alright? Talk to me!”

The touch seemed to finally snap the alicorn out of her upside down world. “Uggh… Rainbow? Did I crash again?”

“Yes, yes you did. What were you trying to do anyways?” the pegasus asked while inspecting the alicorn for damage.

Twilight’s coat was a dirty mess, not to mention her wings. Rainbow gave a whistle as she leaned in closer to inspect them. Bruises coated almost every single feather, some ran from the tips to the quills. Twigs were lodged between them and nearly every single feather was twisted. Rainbow touched one slowly with a hoof, an action that elected a hiss from her friend.

“Don’t!” Twilight hissed in pain and other emotions from the contact. ”Ugh, I need a bath.”

“Sorry if I hurt you.” Rainbow said with a frown. “Your wings are pretty much a mess. A simple bath won’t fix that.”

“You didn’t really hurt me. They’re just… new. And I know that, thank you very much, mom” she said, not even trying to hide the sarcasm dripping from her voice.

“Want me to help, egghead?” Rainbow asked and quickly shut her muzzle with a hoof. ‘Oh my, I didn’t really ask her that, did I? So uncool’, she thought, her cheeks turned bright red at the unintended slip.

Twilight’s head snapped in Rainbow’s direction, seemly confused. “What did you just ask me?”

“Uh, nothing…” Rainbow squeaked, trying to turn away and hide her blush.

The alicorn got up and turned straight to the pegasus. “Ask again.”

When Twilight did not get an answer she raised a hoof and took hold of Rainbow’s before the pegasus could flee. Twilight smiled and powered up her horn, she teleported them both directly into her castle.

“Twilight!” Rainbow coughed as the smoke from their teleport cleared, “ Why did you-” Rainbow stopped dead in her tracks, realizing where she was.

The alicorn had teleported them directly into the castle, but not just that. She had teleported them into her bathroom.

“Ask again, Rainbow,” Twilight said with a blush. “Please.”

The prismatic mare whimpered, but now was not the time to be uncool, she gulped and whispered, “Want me to help?”

Twilight blushed heavily, but seized upon this opportunity, the opportunity she had been praying for for quite some time now. She reached into the shower and turned on the valve. The showerhead began cascading water onto the floor. Slowly, steam started to feel out the room as the hot water evaporated.

Rainbow gulped and looked at her friend. ‘Is this really Twilight? What is she going to do?’

All her thoughts were interrupted as the purple alicorn pulled her into the shower. It was big enough for two ponies to fit and Rainbow shuddered as the hot trail of water hit her coat. Twilight looked sheepishly at her and unfolded her wings, letting them bath in the water. Some twigs and a bit of dirt got washed away, but that wasn’t enough.

Rainbow looked at Twilight, watching her expression and their gazes met. With a shy smile, Twilight laid down in the shower, directing one wing to the pegasus. It was an unspoken invite, Rainbow knew that and she wasn’t one to reject it. After all, she had offered to do this.

‘How does she know not about such things? For sure the egghead read a book about it’,was all Rainbow thought as she crawled closer to Twilight, admiring her wings.

They were several inches longer than her own, being impressive part of Twilight’s alicorn transformation. With a sigh, Rainbow leaned down and used her muzzle to carefully remove the leaves and twigs still stuck in her friends feathers. No matter how careful she was, her muzzle brushed against one of the muscles, causing Twilight to gasp and twitch her wing.

It snapped up and connected with Rainbow’s jaw, sending her straight back. “Argh, Twilight!” Rainbow yelled as she rubbed her muzzle. “What the hay?”

“Sorry Rainbow… they're just so new and sensitive, sorry sorry!” Twilight muttered and tried to get her wing under control.

Rainbow growled and went back to work, focusing on her task again. She spotted shampoo on a small holder at the wall and grabbed it in her teeth, squeezing a bit out on her hoof. She gently brushed it over the parts of Twilight’s wing that were still covered in dirt, washing it away. The alicorn whimpered upon the simple touch.

“They’re more than just sensitive,” Rainbow mentioned while rolled her eyes, but she continued her work.

Dash cleaned every spot of dirt, but as she reached some of the bruises, Twilight groaned from her touch. Rainbow didn’t know why, but she started to softly plant kisses on the bruises. The soft touch elected whimpered moans from the alicorn and Rainbow’s ears perked up.

‘Why is she allowing me to do this?’ Rainbow asked herself as she continued her kisses. ‘She has to know by now how intimate preening is.’

All those thoughts were shoved away as she reached the sections over Twilight’s wing base, which elected even louder moans with her touches. With a small, evil grin Rainbow started to let her tongue touch over the spots she kissed, slowly making a trail from Twilight's wing base to their tips.

When she finished that section, Rainbow stopped and looked up, an action that caused Twilight to turn her head. “Why did you stop?” she asked.

“I’m going to do the main part now, Twi. That means every single feather.” Rainbow answered before diving down again, starting to nibble softly on the feathers.

Her well trained muzzle got ahold of feathers and turned them back, creating a matching pattern over the wing again. Maybe it was evil, but she also used her tongue, making the proper act much more erotic. The soft tongue elected even more moans of the alicorn, who shivering under her loving touch.

With that, Twilight’s mind went completely blank. She wanted Rainbow to do this… and more. But she never expected it to feel so good or Rainbow to get into it so fast. Not that she was about to complain in any way. With a blissful smile she rested her head on her forehooves and enjoyed the treatment.

Rainbow took her time, going slower and slower with every moment. She even went as far as to get the most sensitive spots on wings. She nibbled and kissed on the base, the joints and the wingtip, all while doing the proper preening. Twilight answered her efforts with moans of one that was enjoying this on a much more intimate level.

With a grin she couldn't resist, Rainbow stole a quick glance at Twilight's flank. More accurately, she stole a quick glance between her flanks, her eyes caught a glance of Twilight's marehood glistening with a liquid that was not water...

Rainbow smiled as she saw it, when she looked back Twilight met her gaze with a blush. The alicorn was more than aroused now, her left wing twitched madly while her right was being pleased. It was almost too much for her to handle. The pegasus continued her work until the wing was done, then went forward and lightly nibbled on Twilight’s ear. An action that was met with a pur from the newest princess.

“Other wing, Twi,” Rainbow cooed softly and Twilight obeyed, folding her right and unfolding her left wing.

The left wing was in quite better state and was preened quickly. All the time Twilight twitched more with a layer of sweat forming on her coat that no amount of water could fully wash away. . With that view, Rainbow could no longer pretend this was a simply preening session, no… she no longer wanted too. Rainbow lightly bit down on the most sensitive spot on Twilight’s wing. The sudden pain caused the alicorn to groan loudly and her tongue lolling out her muzzle.

That was the action that flooded the barrel, Twilight folded her wings and turned, leaping at Rainbow before the cyan mare could react. She pinned her to the shower wall, looking at her with a gaze full of lust and desire.

Rainbow grinned, “Enjoying yourself, egghead??”

Instead of an answer the alicorn leaned forwards and pressed her lips onto Rainbows. The pegasus gasped in surprise, but slowly leaned in. Their kiss turned more passionate as Twilight felt her lips being poked, opening them she could feel Rainbow’s tongue slipping forward, attacking her own. She moaned and attacked it with her own tongue, slipping it around the pegasus’s. It was a battle that lasted for some time until they had to break and breathe.

“That… was… awesome…” Rainbow managed to say between bated breaths. “But why?”

Twilight blushed a bit. “Because if one of us didn’t take the first leap we’d simply still be friends, because we would never reached for the other, we both ignored our feelings for our friendship, but… but I couldn’t take it anymore. I know it was a slip of the tongue, but when you offered to preen me, I had to jump on it.”

Rainbow’s blush soon matched Twilight's as she planted another kiss on the mare’s lips. She then leaned into the alicorn, enjoying the additional warmth that was not coming from the water. The alicorn unfolded her wings and wrapped the pegasus in them. The symbolism was clear, she was protecting and loving her friend, her friend that was now hers.
