Silence.
It was the only thing that filled the dimly lit room, aside from the slow and monotonous drip of blood bouncing off of the walls and echoing throughout the spacious room. A single lantern hung lowly above a worn table along the far left wall, the badly mutilated and bloody body of a young filly tied tightly down to it.
A second figure stood beside it, a wide grin on the pony's face as they stared at the corpse.
It was done... It was finally fucking done...!
The figure stepped a little closer, moving upright on wobbly hindlegs and resting its forehooves on the edge of the table.
Diamond Tiara's deep blue eyes stared blankly at the ceiling, her mouth parted wide in a scream. She had a thick rope wrapped around her neck, extending down to her abdomen. Other ropes securely held both her fore- and hindlegs in place. The once pink coat was now splotched red, patches of the pale fur missing in multiple places, other parts severely matted with blood. Her once elegantly styled mane was now missing crucial pieces, chunks of it ripped out here an there, and she was nearly missing her tail completely.
The other pony's grin grew even wider, it hopping down and trotting along the wall to meet another corpse. This one was chained to the wall by her torso, maggots and other insects squirming around in the dirty, once silver fur. Like Tiara, she was blood splattered and missing multiple pieces of fur, as well as half her mane and all of her tail. Tiny and broken shards of glass stuck out from multiple places in the young filly's face, bloody blue glasses frames resting on her muzzle, cracked and broken.
The figure tilted it's head, a smirk now upon it's face. Silver Spoon was just too easy. She hadn't lasted nearly as long as Tiara did. They honestly thought Spoon would put up more of a fight, but alas, they were wrong.
The pony wrinkled her nose. They really had to do something about her though. She was really starting to stink, despite only being there for about a week.
The pony stood up, turning around and looking back at the dead body, a scowl appearing on their face as they bucked harshly at the carcass, sending disgruntled maggots flying in all directions. The pony repeated this multiple times, only stopping when they heard the sound of a door opening. They paused and looked toward the staircase, narrowing their eyes.
Another pony a little bigger than them made its way down, pausing at the bottom and watching them with a bemused look.
The pony slowly lowered it's leg, throwing a glare at the corpse, then looking back at the newcomer, their grin returning once again.
