Many long hours had passed as the two princesses fought endlessly. "Give it up! You'll never defeat me!" Celestia was struck down once again and struggled to get up. "Celestia!" Luna cried. The blue alicorn went to help her fallen sister, but she too was struck by a lethal blow. Celestia suddenly got up, her eyes in a shroud as she spoke, "I did not want it to come to petty delay...but there is...no other way..." The white alicorn's horn lit up with a golden hue of magic. The fallen blue sister stood up and mimicked her sister's movement. Their eyes lit up and only whiteness filled them. "From this day forward, you shall forever be locked away! Never to be seen again! No mare nor stallion may be able to free you!" A book manifested from golden and midnight blue hues of magic and complete blackness was sealed within it's pages. The two sisters gently descended as the book fell and their eyes reverted back to their normal states. "Sister...what must we do now...? It is indestructible...is it not?" Luna asked. Celestia rubbed her head, "I can sense he has cursed it. Leave it. Nopony will find it here. The snow will bury it for all of eternity." Luna scowled, "You cannot be so foolish to believe that-" Celestia intervened, "LUNA! ...please just listen to me this time sister. Please." The two sisters glared down at the book, "He will be damned to solitude for his crimes, and he will not be able to venture through the fabric of time and space. Let us go." The two princesses flew off, unaware of the gray unicorn that had been hiding in a nearby cave watching the whole thing. Curiously, foolishly, he picked up the book and opened it.
