You've been sitting at the bench in the Boutique reading a magazine you borrowed from Twilight. Some really neat stuff going on in Equestria... Well... A few months ago in this magazine. Since that you did everything to help out Rarity at the Boutique, you took a little break till she has something for you to do.
Right now she's at some kind of store, she said she'll be back in a little bit and you do have to keep an eye on Sweetie Belle. She said she'll be taking a little nap.
"Hey." You hear a small filly voice. You look behind the magazine, and there is Sweetie Belle who's got that tired smile on her face.
"Hey Sweetie Belle, how was your nap?"
"It was awesome."
"Sweet." You smiled. "You hungry?"
"Nah, I'm good right now."
"Alright." You smiled. "Just making sure." You said as put the magazine down for a minute, and stretched your limbs. "Man, what time is it?"
"2:00." Said Sweetie Belle as she looked at the clock on the wall. "How long have I been out?"
"I think about an hour."
"Oh," Was all Sweetie Belle could say. "Have I been out that long?"
"You've been out since Rarity left, and she left about an hour ago. I think so." You said as you looked at your watch.
"Huh." Was all that came out of Sweetie's lips.
"Anyways," You said as you got up. "I think I'm gonna have a little snack. Want anything?"
"Nah. I'm going to be with Scootaloo and Apple Bloom. We're gonna get our cutie marks for wood working."
Oh yes. You remember Sweetie Belle telling you all about getting her cuite mark along with her friends. You always think that they would kill themselves for getting one. But probably to her, it's all worth it.
Before you could speak, you hear Rarity call in. "I'm home!" You hear Rarity in a sing song voice.
"Oh Rarity, about time you're here. I'm going to be with Apple Bloom and Scootaloo so we can get our cutie marks for wood working!"
"Alright, have fun, Sweetie Belle."
"Alright!" You hear the filly scream as she ran out the door.
"Is she always like this?" You asked chuckling.
"When she's trying to get her cutie mark," Rarity said as she rolled her eyes. "Yes." She finishes with a smile. You and Rarity laugh at the joke. "She has been working so hard at getting one, I have no idea how long it'll be till she really gets one."
"I don't blame you. It's like a child getting that toy he really wants."
"I know what you mean, darling." She said as she looked out the door. "So what have you been up too?"
"Just reading the magazine. Sweetie had a good nap."
"That's marvelous." She said with a smile. "Anyways, I gotta get ready."
"For what?" You asked.
"I got a date tonight!"
"That's awesome, Rarity!" You said in a very excited tone in your voice with a smile. "Is that why you bought those fancy stuff?"
"That's why." She said in a sing song voice.
"Haha, alright. Go get ready. And good luck."
"Thank you so much." She said as she trotted to the stairs, but before she goes any further, she stops and turns to you, calling out your name. "You've been such a fine gentlecolt around the Boutique, I don't know how to thank you for being such a fine assistant, and a really sweet friend."
"You don't have to thank me, Rarity, the only thing you should be thanking is just me helping you out. I may be some straing creature from another world, but I'm always happy to help out."
"Thank you." Rarity said as she finishes the sentence with your name. "You're really sweet."
"Thank you, Rarity. And... aren't you going to get ready?"
"Oh right. Thanks for reminding me!" She said as she trots up the steps.

About an hour has passed, and you're still reading that magazine left and right. While Rarity's still getting ready for her date tonight. You're really happy for her, you can't wait to see how it goes.
As you turn the page of the magazine, you noticed that a weird looking pony is really short, and it says world record on the top. "Damn," You mumbled under your breath. But not only he looks weird, but he looks like a pony that's back in Granny Smith's day. You remember Granny Smith, Applejack introduced you to her. Her stories are always interesting, like your granddads stories when he always tell you, you love hearing them, you just can't get enough of them.
Your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of hooves trotting down the stairs. It's Rarity, and HOLY SHIT SHE LOOKS SO AMAZING!
"Wow," You said as you feel amazed at how Rarity looks.
"Thank you, darling."
"How are you so good at this dress making?" You chuckled.
"It's my destiny, nopony can beat my dresses."
"That, I have to agree." You said with a smile. "Don't you think you should get going?"
"I just need one more thing before I head out." She said as she trots to her kitchen, and she grabs her little purse thing. You know, the thing that she carries her bits with?
"Have fun, Rarity."
"Thank you!" She said as she opened the door with her magic, and trots off. Now it's just you and that magazine that you scan with your eyes. You wonder what's gonna happen next when you flip the page, your mind would certainly like to know. You flip the page, and behold, it's got a really cool looking place that looks like it's outside of Ponyville. Really far away though. But why? Who knows, maybe Celestia knows.

You sat outside in the night sky, looking up at the stars with a bottle of soda next to you. You remember hanging out under the stars like this with your sister. You two did have a good time looking at the stars, it's really cool at what you can see. The summer breeze cools you down as you take slurp after slurp of your soda. You hear a filly's voice coming from... the woods maybe? You look up and see where it comes from. Oh, it's behind Rarity's Boutique. It's Sweetie Belle.
"Well. I'm not doing that again."
"What happened?" You asked the little filly.
"Well," Sweetie tries to explain. "Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and I were at a wood shop. And technically, it turned out horrible. I made a sling-shot, and I shot at a pony by accident instead if a cardboard box. I have very terrible aim." Said Sweetie Belle as she blushed. "So we walked away like nothing happened."
"I don't blame you." You said to her.
"Anyways, what are you doing?"
"Watching the stars."
"All by yourself?"
"I got a bottle of soda with me." You said as you showed her the bottle.
"Makes sense." She said as you two laughed. "It's really neat looking at the stars. Have you done this with your friends?" You asked.
"We have. But we haven't watched them for long till we had to get home."
"I see." You said as you look back up at the stars. All of a sudden, you see a shooting star in the sky. You gasp as you first saw it. "Holy crap." You whispered.
"What."
"I see a shooting star."
"Really?" Sweetie looks up, she also sees the shooting star that's racing across the sky.

Thirty minutes have passed, you're still looking up at the night sky as Luna's moon shine down on Ponyville. You wonder how long Rarity's been gone now since you've been out here for... who knows how long now. Eh, you don't care about time. You just like to look at the stars.
All of a sudden, you're interrupted by a mumble. You know who that voice belongs to. Is that from Rarity? You look up, it's her. She's back from her date, you hope it went well for her.
"Hey Rarity, how'd your date go?"
"It was awful."
"Oh, I'm sorry to here that." You said in a quiet voice. "What happened?"
"He was so annoying, and he's not a very good gentlcolt. He wouldn't stop talking about... his sex life."
"Whoa." You can't talk about that at a date like the one Rarity went to. That's just crossing the line.
"I know, I tried to break up with him. But he just would not stop begging. I tried to leave him, but he just couldn't stop saying "Please!"" Rarity said as she put her hooves to her ears as if she's really annoyed by that.
"Damn, I'm really sorry, Rarity."
"That's alright. Anyways, what are you doing out here?"
"Eh, I just wanted to watch the stars. Me and my sister use to do this before I came here. It's really nice to look at, you wanna join me?"
"Sure, let me put this dress up."
"K."
After a few minutes of Rarity putting her dress up, she joined you in looking at the stars.
"Oh my, this is stunning."
"Indeed it is."
"Do you sneak out here every night to watch the stars?"
"Nah, I don't sneak out, at all." Then you thought of something, you thought of a little joke. "Or actually, I do, I sneak out here to rob banks and what not."
"Oh no." Rarity said now playing along. "I might have to call the sheriff for that."
"Not if he finds out." You said as you made your hand look like a gun.
"Oh no, don't kill me please." Rarity joked as you two shared a heartwarming laugh.
"I'm kind of tired. I think I'm gonna hit the hay." You said as you got up.
"I think I shall do the same."
"Need help getting up?"
"Please." She said as she holds out her hoof. It feels so soft and so warm, and it's defiantly not like the pony hooves you know back at home. You and Rarity walk inside as you opened the door for her.

The Next Day.

"Wait!" You hear Rarity call out.

You ran back at the Boutique. Why did you leave her there? That was not very nice of you to do. You slid down the wall to the floor and thought about what happened. You really feel bad that you left Rarity, should you go back? Now that you're thinking that it's your fault for leaving her. So you decide to go back and apologize for what you did.
As you walked down the streets to find Rarity, you see her run up to you.

Finally, you both are at the Boutique, and as you was about to sit on the bench for a little bit. Rarity calls you out by name.
"I was just wondering, you don't have a mare friend, do you?"

"Well, since you've been a good assistant, and a really sweet friend. I thought maybe we can go on a date sometime."
"Really?"
"Oh yes, darling. Just you and me. A lovely date."

"How about Sugarcube Corner?"

Later That Night.
