During the Royalty Summit in the Crystal Empire, a thief makes off with the Element of Magic. In a enraged attack to get it back, Spyro/Jendovahzoor the Dragon destroys a magical mirror, and gets himself sucked through a portal leading to a long lost, alternate version of Equestria…an alternate version where all the familiar faces of his Equestrian friends are upon the bodies of his most hated enemies. With the portal destroyed, Spyro must choke down the rage of his ancestors and learn to survive and adapt in the modern world if he hopes to retrieve the missing crown and find a way home, making new allies and enemies along the way. However, things soon prove not to be what they seem; there may very well be more to this strange new world than meets the eye…
