5 Hours after inital blast 40 years after the fall of slavia
"Dont look so worried she'll make it".
"I know she will, but still something could of happened. What if I didn't teach her enough".
"She learned from the best nothing could go wrong. Now stay still and put presure on the wound".

It's not unnormal for there to be orphans down here in the metro. There is constant attacks, so that leaves many dead. Ussualy we all just pass them by as they beg for help. I suold know I was orphaned too at an early age. This world can be so cruel. So you must learn to survive down here, because if you cant survive here than you are as good as dead up on the surface. This all because of those damn equestrians. Our once proud and glorious nation of slavia reduced to rubble by thier missiles. They think they have killed us and our home, but like every ancestor before us we survived. They were our enemies before this but we helped them during the great war with panzechlek. Ragnarok would be asshamed by us but proud that in all odds we never give up. just like that orphaned filly i found in the darkest station.
I don't know what made me stop but whatever it was it saved both of our lives.
I remember that day vividly. The tunnel was cold not really unnusual for slavia, and we are stuck dead in nucleur winter, but it was that bone chilling cold as if something simister was eyeing you down. It was unnusual this station was usualy filled with my fellow slavians, but it was empty. There was a horrible smell in the air of rotting flesh. There was no signs of mutants or the residents. The darkness seemed to ingulfed the station, and become an entity of itself. I remember hearing this constant tapping as water driped from the cieling down onto the metal railing. I could hear my own heart beat but there was something else another beating going faster than mine. Then I heard the whining from a nearby utility locker. The whining slowly built up into full crying. In my eight years of being a ranger i have never felt the way I did. The anxiety wa ust built up inside me. My heart started beating faster as I slowly reached for the locker door. I slowly opened it to find a small white coated filly. Her light blue mane tangled in dried up blood. She let out a crie of fear as my helmet light shined in her face."It's ok little one im not going to hurt you, you have nothing to fear", I said trying to calm her down before the mutants showed up to see what had happened."Come with me i'll keep you safe", I said gsetureing to her, but she seemed hesitant until finnally there was a growl from down the tunnel. She was fixing to screem when i wraped my coat around her and pushed her back into the locker shuting the door."Stay in there i'll take car of these sukas". I said pulling out my assult rifle. My flashlight was turned off but when I turned it back on I could see fifteen nosalis flooding through the tunnel. I knew what I had to do, keep this girl safe at all costs. I opened fire soon the dark metro was filled with the light of muzzle flash."Come and get it sukas". I yelled as a mag dropped from my gun, then I loaded a new one. I fired until I heard the constant clicking of his rifle. By then I had killed all of the intruders. I went back to the locker to find the filly curled up into a ball and crying."It's ok thier gone now they cant get you". I wispered to her trying to calm her. Then she reached up and grabbed him into a tight imbrace, I returned it gently."Whats your name little one". I asked letting go of her."They didnt give us name here, they just gave us a number. I'm number 410". She replied letting go of him."Whats your name"."My name mishia, im from a couple of stations over. I'm a ranger sent here to make sure everythings alright but apearently it isnt. So 410 would you like to come with me this isnt a place for little ones like you now is it"."I'm not little i can take care of myself".She replied with an irritated face."Just keep saying that and you might get bigger". I said while ruffling her blue mane."So 410 will you come or not"."Fine ill come with you but stop calling me little". She replied brushing her mane down."First we need to give you a proper name how about, Alina. That sound good". I asked with a smile."I guess". She replied.
The days since we met seemed to go by in a blur. It's like she filled a gap in my soul. I didn't rescue her she rescued me from myself. It was a hard progress though she couldn't read or wright. I never saw myself as a parent figure or a teacher just a ranger, but she was eager to learn. She was also trouble, for instance she loved to take things that werent hers. I had to talk others out of harming her, but she never learned anything from the punishments I gave her. It was good that she was so sneaky because she was a horrible shot, and she was so goddamn jumpy. I almsot regretad handing her that gun but it was for her own safety.

Have you ever had a moment were you almost cried. It happened to me on that day. It was so unnexpected that it cought me off gaurd. On that day a day ill never forget is the first time she called her father. It hit me like a brick that i was just stunned for a few seconds, but not only that she even said that she loved me."What did you just say". I asked her still stunned."I said I love you dady". Even hearing it a second time it still stunned him."Thats what I thought you said. I love you too". I said with a smile. All she did was jump on to me still smiling."You know what theres a place above ground the i want to show you". I said getting up."What is it". She asked with normal enthusiasm."It's called a musuem. Its of our countries history would you like to come along and get out of here for awhile". Really this was a bad idea to bring her above ground but she needed to see.
It was early in the morning when we left but we would be out for awhile so I packed a few spare filters little did I know but that would save our lifes."Are you ready to go". I asked as she ran out of the room."Yup". She replied giggling with excitement."Did you check your mask". I asked to make sure. Every mask I had wouldnt fit her so I had to make one, and hope it will hold im suprised she trusts it."Yes I did". It was near time for the metro gates to open for travelers in and out.
