The S4 league. Stylish Esper Shooting Sports. The game right now was called ‘touchdown’ mode, where two teams fought to get a Fumbi that was the “ball” and make it to the other team’s goal to score points. Right now, the first team to five points would win the match and the score was tied at three a piece. “Okay Rebecca, you two clips for your assault rifle, one bullet left for your sniper rifle, one Earth Bomber , half 50 health left, and two tankers at their base protecting the goal.” She said as she pulled out the Earth Bomber . “Better make it count.” Without a second thought, Rebecca moved from behind the doorway of the building and tossed the bomb at the two shooter defending the goal. “FIRE IN THE HOLE!” “Incoming, Right side!!” One of her teammates shouted as another player with a sigma crashed on her position. “Dammit, seriously?” Rebecca slid to the left as she dodge the player sigma crusher and countered with a headshot by her assault rifle. “Starting to wish I had a melee weapon instead of long range weapons.” “Keep running! There’s more coming this way!!” “I’m starting to regret this plan very much.” Rebecca said as she ran upstairs to place the fumbi in the goal, only for her to take cover from a hail of missiles coming from the entry way. “Dammit, give me a fucking break!” Her teammates kept the pressure on the missile launcher, giving her the chance to make a break for it as she made it in the endzone. “TOUCHDOWN! Who’s that man!? Who’s that man!?” The announcer cried out. The score was now 4-3 and Rebecca’s team was up by one. “Awesome job Rebecca!” One of her teammates named Ryan shouted out as he gripped his Katana blade before switching to his Semi Rifle. “One more and then this game is ours!” “Thank god because I’m tired of being a human target.” Rebecca said as she reloaded her assault rifle. “Let’s get this over with so I can which my gear afterwards.” “Next round will be starting in… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1...” “Let’s go!” Ryan yelled, running off towards where the Fumbi would be, going in after it using his anchoring skill. “Melee players defend Ryan, those with guns or sniper rifles act as long range support!” Rebecca ordered as she switched to her railgun and headshotted a player with a plasma sword heading towards Ryan. Ryan smirked, thanking her with a thumbs up as he slid in and got the Fumbi. It was then though where a few players with a smash rifle and a turret were close to pinning him down. “I need backup here!” He shouted, trying his best not to get himself shot in the process. “Doing my best here, but I can’t shoot that well when you’re inside buddy.” “Right, heading out now!” He replied, strafing to the left as he continued to dodge enemy fire. “Heavy machine gunner and a rocket launcher are guarding the goal. Hope you have something that can deal with them, because I have my hands full dealing with the others.” Rebecca said as she snipe a player heading towards their base. “And I’m running low on HP at the moment.” “Oh I might just have the trick.” He smirked, arming himself with an Earth Bomber as he threw it towards the two at the goal. “Alright that worked-!” His words were short lived though as he got shot from behind and turned into 1’s and 0’s “Pick it up! Pick it up! Get the ball!!” “Dammit Ryan.” Rebecca said as she moved from behind the wall she was sniping from  and rushed over to where Ryan used to be and picked up the fumbi. “I hate being the human target.” She said as she ran towards the goal only to be stopped by two players in front of the opponent’s goal. “Nice outfit, did you get it from some hacker or something?” She teased as she aim her assault rifle at the figure. “Mind moving out of the way? I prefer to get this match over and done with. Unless you wanna do this the hard way?” She asked only for them to charge at her with plasma swords at the ready. “Guess we’re doing this the hard way then.” Reloading her assault rifle, Rebecca headshotted both attackers as she moved past their disappearing bodies. “Keep pushing forward!” Ryan said only for Rebecca to roll her eyes in annoyance. “Yeah, yeah don’t have to tell me twice.” She said as she hopped onto the goal. “And that is how I roll in this game ladies~.” The game had finally finished. The score was five to three and Rebecca’s team had won. “You win!!” (Lobby) “Nice pickup Rebecca!” Ryan congratulated her as they went back into the lobby. “Yeah, we would’ve been toast if we didn’t have you on our team.” Marry said appearing next to her. “How are you this good at this game?” “Practice Marry, that and it’s not that hard to play it once you get use to it.” “So what game should we play now?” Paula asked as a screen went up as multiple other players soon left the room. “How about we change things up, maybe a bit of Chaser before we log off?” Ryan suggested. “Ugh I hate playing that mode. It’s annoying and I hate having to chase after people in that. Not to mention that I hate getting sniped in the head.” “What if you are the chaser? Besides, I was only going to limit the player set to four people so you don’t have any hackbots appear out of nowhere and ruin the game.” “....Fine, but I swear to god if one of you assholes snipe me in the head. Heads will roll once we get back to the real world.” Ryan chuckled, looking back at her as the map that was selected took form. The Chaser map was known as Nightmare, which first arrived with S4 league’s first season named Dark Lightning. I’m replacing my Earth Bomber with my Submachine Guns for added firepower.” “Are you ready!?” The Announcer’s voice boomed and the countdown initiated. “5… 4… 3… 2… 1…” “Here we go…” He said as the third player was selected to be the chaser. What took them by surprise was the shadowy like aura beginning to radiate from her as she stared down at them with a devilish grin. “Okay, seriously, what the hell kind of a chaser is THAT!?” “Five bucks says it’s a hacker player.” “Foolish humans… I am not of this… hackerthat you see me as. I AM NIGHTMARE MOON!! And this night shall become eternal!” She screamed, as the chaser unleashed hell with a revolver that the player pulled out of nowhere. “Run!!” Ryan shouted, arming himself with his plasma sword. “Why? It’s not like we can die in S4 League?” Rebecca said as she pulled out her katana. But that was short lived when she saw Ryan get shot in the shoulder, and blood began to spill outward. “N-no way… h-how the-!?” Before the player could respond, the chaser appeared in front of him and was impaled in the chest by the bloody dagger the Nightmare Moon was wielding. “.....Shit. Ryan how long does this match last?” Rebecca asked as she she notice the chaser pull out a heavy machine gun. Rebecca quickly summoned a force field to block Nightmare Moon’s attack. “Thirty minutes… Bloody hell, I don’t think we can last t-this long… Oh god, it hurts!” “Marry, get Ryan to a safe place and patch him up. I’ll deal with the bitch until the rounds are up.” Rebecca ordered as she felt the force field weakening. “Hurry up please!” “One it!” She said only for her to get sniped in the head before she could carry out Rebecca’s order. “Shit, Paula. Get Ryan to safety while I deal with this player…..Paula?” “Rebecca… I hate to break it to you… But we’re the only ones here-” That was when out of nowhere, Rebecca saw Ryan’s chest begin to bleed out as he was stabbed from behind before being cleaved in half by a Scythe as his corpse turned into ones and zeros. “Y-You son of a bitch!” Rebecca yelled as she unsheathed her katana to attack the chaser, only for it to be parried away her attacks. “You’re gonna pay for what you did to my friends!” “Hm, weakling.” Nightmare Moon said as she knocked the katana out of her hand. Rebecca had little time to react as she felt one of her hands get sliced off while being pinned against the wall. “Goodbye… player.” She smiled, fully driving the Blood Dagger that the chaser had equipped into her heart as everything faded to black. (Ponyville, Twilight’s Castle) It was another bright and sunny afternoon as Twilight Sparkle was cracking open another book for her daily study session. After a long fought out battle through time itself, the Alicorn of friendship had finally reformed her once former enemy and had her become friends with the ponies that she knew and the entire town. Now it felt like everything was beginning to peacefully settle down… For only a few moments. The first thing that drove the Alicorn crazy was hearing that Spike, her dragon assistant, was taking up the hobby of pyromancy. One small thing in the dragon’s mind though… was seen as a future disaster in Twilights. Midway through making a bunch of safety preparations though, something crashed onto the top floor of the observatory, knocking a column of books just as Spike began to conjure another fireball. “What in the name of Equestria was that!?” Starlight asked. But Twilight’s mind was elsewhere as one of her prized book collections was now on fire. “SPIKE!!!” “What!? It wasn’t my fault for this! Blame Gravity!!” The young dragon replied, hearing a metallic clink as something strange fell from the upper floor. “Hunh?” What’s tha-?” His question was cut off just as he and the small fire was soon covered in white from Twilight and the Fire Extinguisher she was holding. “Really?” “Sorry Spike, had to make sure the fire didn’t spread to anywhere else.” Spike rolled his eyes, paying a little more attention to the item in front of him as he examined it for a moment before moving his hand back when he felt how sharp it was. “I wonder what this thing is…?” He said, looking back at Starlight and Twilight. “Do you two have any idea what this is?” “It looks like a sword from neighpon, but it’s too advanced for them to make something like this.” Twilight said as she tried to levitate the katana close to her, only for it to turn into 1’s & 0’s then flew off towards the observatory room. “Okay, what the hay was that?” Starlight asked. “Swords can’t just disappear like that.” “Come on, let’s find out where it’s going. Maybe we can find out who it might belong to?” (Observatory room) “D-did anyone get the l-license plate on that truck?” Rebecca asked as she woke up in a slightly lite room. “Ugh, what the hell happen? All I remember was-.” The moment she turned her head at the crystal wall, Rebecca’s eyes widen in shock as she saw some kind of creature in the reflection “WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS THIS!?!” He yelled as she quickly shot up, pulled out her handgun, and shot at the reflection until the clip was empty. “Wait a minute.” Lowing her handgun Rebecca looked closely at the reflection, then at herself. “Is this me?” She asked move an hand to her face as pinched herself to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. “Oh god, this can’t be happening. How am I this..whatever the hell I am-.” “I think somepony is trying to break into our home Twilight?” Said Spike as he open the door to the room Rebecca was in. “Oh crap!” “Maybe… Let’s be cautious for now. Something tells me that-.” It was then though that before they could even enter the observatory that something went past them at unknown speeds. It was some kind of shot that caused dents to form in the crystalline walls. “What the!?” “Who’s there?” Rebecca ordered as she pulled out her handgun and aimed it at the two ponies and dragon. “B-Back away whoever or whatever you three are.” “Miss can we please just calm down? Nopony needs to get hurt. Just drop whatever it is that you have there and we can talk peacefully.” Twilight ushered as she slowly stepped closer. “We only want to help you, what’s your name?” “I said back away!” Rebecca yelled as she fired a warning shot past Twilight’s foot. “That was just a warning shot, the next one won’t miss.” “Ma’am, we only want to help you… I know you are scared, but we need you to please trust us. You can really hurt somepony with that.” Twilight said trying to reason with her. “I’m warning you, back the fuck away. I’ll shoot you if you or anyone else get too close to me.” Rebecca said as she switch from target to target. “Wow… what is up with that pegasus?” Spike commented, looking at Rebecca as she now noticed her newfound wings arching over her shoulders. “Holy fuck! What the hell is on my back!?” Rebecca asked as she stumble back a bit from seeing her wings. “You have wings, miss.” “No shit captain state the obvious! What the hell did you fuckers do to me?” “What? No! It’s not like that. We just found you and want to know where those ones and zeroes came from!” Twilight pleaded. Just as she said that, those ones and zeroes took form in front of Rebecca as her blade katana began to take shape. “My katana!” Rebecca said as she grabbed from out of the air. As she did that she unsheathed it slightly as she looked at the wall behind herself. “Time for me to get the hell out of this weird place.” She said as she slashed at the wall multiple times making a small exit. Only for a lavender barrier to appear, blocking her path. All that did though was just cause her to growl a little. “I know! If I just disconnect myself from the lobby, then I’ll go back home!!” However, when she brought up the user menu that she was all too familiar with to log out, nothing happened. “What the hell? Why can’t I disconnect?” “...Twilight I think this pony is on drugs or something.” Spike said only for him to duck from the bullet heading towards him. “I heard that you talking lizard!” “Listen, we’re not here to hurt you miss.” Twilight said as she backed away from Rebecca. “See, I’m backing away like you said. Now, why don’t we just calm down before somepony does something she might regret, okay?” “....A-Alright.” Rebecca said as she lowered her handgun. Before she could process what happen, Rebecca felt something hard fly into her and collide into the wall next to her. As she fell to the ground, the only thing that she could see before her vision faded to darkness was a pony with rainbow color mane yelling at her.
