A Really, Really Weird Adventure
Karen was in the kitchen of her apartment when the phone started ringing at her, making her call out to her roommate, “Tracy, could you get that for me?” “Yeah, I’m coming!” “Hello?” “Tracy, how have you been?” came a reply. She was dumbfounded. “Jake?!” I haven’t heard from you in two years! What happened to you?” “Long story. Listen, I need your help. Is Karen there?” Jake answered hastily. “Yeah, she is. Here you go.” Tracy hands the phone to Karen and after about five minutes of listening, she hangs up. “Tracey, go get snow. I’ll get the cat food and the carrier. Also, pack anything you need because were going to take a trip.” “Where are we going?” “We are heading to Washington State.”
Jake was waiting for them when they exited the airport. He turned the key to his jet-black Dodge Challenger, and the powerful engine came to life with a loud, guttural roar. “There he is! Let’s go Tracy, come on!” Jae popped the trunk and loaded the car while they strapped themselves into his beautiful car. A short, but comfortable ride later, they were walking into the front door of a large house. Albert a German Rottweiler, named for his smarts was sniffing and pawing at them all the way. “Jeremy is missing,” Jake started. “How?” both Karen and Tracy answered simultaneously. “Last Saturday, we went hiking like we always do. While about a third of the way into the hike, he found this harp. It was made out of some weird material” Jake elaborated. We brought it home, and he decided to try playing a tune from Minecraft® while I went downstairs to get a soda. When I came back he was gone! If I wouldn’t have seen the harp, I would have thought it was all a dream,” he finished. “Should we go in after him,” Tracy inquired in a worried manner. “I think we should. How about you Karen? “Why not? It could be fun, after all. Maybe there will be lots of shiny stuff to mess around with! Maybe even a pointless button!” “Okay? Tracy you can play right?” “Yes, I can play. Lets go!” As Tracy starts to play the Minecraft ® theme song, white particles start to form around them. In a flash, all that remained where they were, was the harp, and a bunch of little white particles.
“Ugh…my head. What happened?” As Jake awoke, he heard the sound of female voices. “Tracy! He’s waking up!” Jake opened his eyes and immediately jumped back about three feet, because there was a face in his face. “Whoa! Wait, Tracy? What the heck are you doing? You scared me half to death!. Also, why are you made of squares? What’s hap-MMPH?!” Jake was ranting in a panicked way, when he was forced to shut up as a square fist found itself in his mouth. “Dude, listen.” Tracy stated, “I know this is going to sound unreal, but we are in Minecraft ®. For Reals.” “Okay, okay, I’m calm. The first think we need to do is gather some resources. I want” Jake was once again cut off mid-sentence because something barked, then meowed at him. He slowly turned around…”Albert!” Jake ran up and hugged his beloved dog. “Snow! Ahh.” The reason for Jake running around and yelling was the brilliant white coat clinging to his shirt for dear life. Karen was literally rolling with laughter. Tracy just sighs, then sticks here arm out and grabs snow. Karen, now annoyed, sticks her leg out in front of Jake. Jake runs into her leg, face plants, and pulls a scorpion. (A scorpion is when you face plant and your heels touch the back of your neck). “Ow, my everything.
Okay, back to business! How big of a house do we want, floor space wise?” “If we have separate houses, lest go eight blocks wide, four blocks tall, and eight blocks deep,” answered Karen thoughtfully. “So with that idea, we will need approximately 55 logs per house, not counting the logs needed to make a workbench and axes to cut trees with, when added will make 59 logs. We will have no planks left. This is with door holes cut out. With doors, the log count will be exactly one stack of 64 logs. After turning them all to planks, there will be two planks left.” It took Karen about 30 seconds to do the math. “Karen, could you say that in English?” “Punch trees until you get five logs, then bring them to me.” That goes for both of you. Jake nodded, content with the answer given. Everybody did as they were told, and received one wooden axe each. “Tracy, Jake. I am going to give you very specific instructions. Go chop down trees until your axe breaks. Only chop logs with them, and do me a favor: don’t leave floating trees.”
Time passed, tools and houses were built, and our beloved five entity group started to notice something… missing. “Hey, Jake?” “What’s wrong Tracy?” “Where are all of the hostile mobs? I haven’t seen any except for the skeleton that shot me in the knee with an arrow.” Just then, Karen walked away from them and over to a tree. “What are you doing, Karen,” Tracy asked. “You will see.” When she backed away, there was a sign that said ‘pointless button’ with an arrow pointing to said button. “BOOP,” Karen yelled as she pushed it.
“Yes! My plan is finally coming together! Soon, I won’t have to worry about Karen’s O.C.D!” “Master?” “What do you want, Herobrine?” “What are we going to do to stop those five newcomers? They are already in the iron phase!” “They are progressing faster than I thought! “Send the troops!” at the command, the army started to file into the portal in an orderly fashion. As soon as the mob army reached the five newcomer’s dwellings, a giant lava wall appeared around the houses, and surrounding mobs effectively trapping the minecrafters and their pets.
“Where is Albert?” Jake asked in a panicked way. “I don’t know, but I have a feeling he’s going to help us in some way,” Karen responded. As soon as she finished her sentence, all three of the group heard a bark from upstairs.” That must be him,” Tracy contributed. Snow was upstairs with Albert. “Come on, let’s make sure they are okay!” When the group went upstairs, they found bows on the floor next to arrows, swords armor, and blocks laid out for them. There were also potions in the brewing stands. Albert started growling and pawing at the windows. When the group looked out of them, there were tens of thousands of Mobs right out of their front door. Then they noticed the walls of lava. One of the zombies had a piece of paper in its hand, however, nobody noticed as they started to slaughter the mobs. Usually, you would think is pretty gruesome. This is not one of those times. When you kill a mob in vanilla Minecraft, all it does is turn red, fall over and disappear! Zombies, skeletons, and spiders falling left and right, experience orbs everywhere a few bones, some rotten flesh, bow and arrow drops later, the place was clean…except for the giant wall of lava. “There is absolutely no way to get rid of thi-ooh, shiny!” Karen was trying to grab a runaway experience orb when a splash potion of fire resistance was thrown at her. “What was that for?” “Jump through the lava” both Tracy and Jake suggested. She took a breath, and jumped.
“Master, the note did not get delivered, for colonel Arrgh has been defeated,” said a very distraught Herobrine. “Darn, that was my last piece of paper. Oh well, I’ll just deliver my message personally.” With a flash, and a ‘woomph’ later, he was gone.
Right after Karen and the others landed, they heard a ‘woomph’ beside them. In an instant, Karen had her bow trained on the hooded figure, while Tracy and Jake were still drawing their swords. “Relax, relax, I just want to say something.” He removed his hood, and the others dropped their weapons in awe. “Jeremy!?” “It is me, and before you ask, yes the mob battalion delio was, in fact, my doing.” “So you are the one who tried to kill us!” Karen shouted angrily, re-drawing her bow. “No, no! You misunderstood! I was trying to give you a note, but you killed colonel Arrgh!” “Then what was the deal with the lava?” “Jake, my good friend, that was just for looks!” Jeremy gave each of them a miniature harp to get back and forth between dimensions bid them goodbye, and teleported them home.

"Where did you get this awesome book?"
"I actually have no idea," the unicorn stated, then pondered the question for about two minutes.
