Snowfrost's Story

Snowfrost opened her blue eyes. She had a splitting headache. She blinked, and frowned. She couldn't seem to remember anything. She shook her head. No luck. She tried smacking her head with her hoof. That appeared to worked. She remembered that her name was Snowfrost, that she had magic, and that she was hit with dark magic. Then she remembered one more thing. A name. Discord. She frowned. Why would she remember that? She then took in her surroundings. She was in a forest. It was dark and mysterious. She shakily got to her hooves and started to walk. She heard a twig snap and flew straight up into the air. She smiled. Then she saw a pair of glimmering green eyes staring at her from behind a bush. She landed on the ground and said, bravely "Show yourself!" What came out was a very strange creature! It had a dark body, legs, and horn. It had wings like Snowfrost, but they were thin and teal. The most bizarre feature was that it had holes in the mane, tail, horn, wings, and even legs! It then spoke.

"Who are you? I didn't know the king and queen of Equestria had another daughter." The question confused Snowfrost.

"What do you mean? I don't know anything about Equestria." The creature's eyes widened.

"Nothing?" She asked.

"Nothing." Snowfrost confirmed.

"Wow, you must have had dark magic strike you!" Said the creature. Snowfrost shuddered.

"Yes, I think so." She agreed. "What is your name? Mine is Snowfrost." The creature smiled.

"Snowfrost? Thats a pretty name. Mine is Chrysalis. I am a changeling." Chrysalis suddenly turned into a pink unicorn with a blue mane. Snowfrost's eyes widened.

"Say, thats neat! How do you do that?" Snowfrost asked. Chrysalis told her that all changelings can do that. She then said,

"Say, do you want to come to my hive?" Snowfrost said yes. As they walked, Chrysalis told Snowfrost about herself. She mother was the queen of the changelings and that they were at peace with the ponies. Sometimes she and the two princesses, Luna and Celestia, would play together. She also said how there was a kingdom called the Crystal Empire and that there was a prince named Sombra who lived there. Snowfrost noticed Chrysalis blush when she said this and suspected she had a crush on him. Then Chrysalis told how the changelings eat love for food. Snowfrost thought that was strange, but said nothing. After all, who was she to judge others based on what they were. Chrysalis also told her that the changelings sometimes ate other foods, mostly chocolate, as it tasted most like love. Soon, Snowfrost noticed that they were nearing a building that looked like a beehive. There were changeling guards there. The difference between them and Chrysalis were the eyes. The guards had bug eyes while Chrysalis had green pony eyes. As the two fillies walked to the throne room, changelings stopped working and stared at Snowfrost. Finally, they reached the throne room. They saw a big changeling that looked just like Chrysalis, except that instead of teal wings, mane and tail, she had orange wings, mane and tail. On her head was a golden crown. She looked at Snowfrost and asked,

"What are you doing here?" Snowfrost and Chrysalis told the queen all that had happened, and the queen finally said

"Alright, you can stay here. You and Chrysalis will now be royal sisters." Snowfrost and Chrysalis hugged each other and squealed. They were now sisters! Snowfrost's new life had begun.
