Amnesia: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic

Chapter 1: Meeting

It was a peaceful morning in Ponyville when Fluttershy stepped outside into the sunshine. She stepped onto the path that led down the pond and began to trot down it. 3 of her bird friends flew towards her and began to chirp. “Slow down, please. I can’t understand you when you speak fast.” Fluttershy giggled and picked up the pace. She needed to get to the pond to feed the fish and the frogs that live there. The birds began to circle her head, and then fly off a little way before circling back around. They did it for a while before Fluttershy figured out they wanted her to follow them. She unfurled her wings and flapped them slightly. A warm breeze blew through Fluttershy’s mane as she took off. The birds chirped and flew towards Everfree forest. Fluttershy gulped.

“Um… W-why would you want to go th-there?” stammered Fluttershy. The leader of the birds just chirped and they continued to fly towards the forest. The birds suddenly dove down. Fluttershy gasped when she saw what the birds were circling around.

Sprawled out on the floor of the entrance of the forest was a young mare. She was a Pegasus, due to her wings drooping to the side of her. Her coat was a light cream yellow, similar to Fluttershy’s coat but lighter. The mare’s mane and tail was a dark purple. She was covered in mud and pieces of leaves and twigs stuck in her mane and tail. Cuts littered her body. The mare’s wings had cuts on them and a few feathers were missing from the right wing. “Oh my!” gasped Fluttershy as she landed on the ground and took in the sight.

“Birds please go and get the others. I’ll wait here and make sure she is okay.” The birds nodded and flew off. Fluttershy cast a glance over the mare and began to remove some of the twigs from the mare’s mane and tail. Some of the mare’s hair was knotted around the twigs and Fluttershy had to pull hard to remove. Once Fluttershy had smoothed down the mare’s mane and tail, she noticed that it looked allot like her style of mane and tail. The mare’s hairstyle was shorter than Fluttershy’s, but the parting still flicked the same way and the tail was shorter. Fluttershy brushed some mud away from the mare’s flank. A cutie mark appeared. Fluttershy’s eyes widened as she took in the sight. It looked like a grey dagger, with a black handle, blood dripping from the blade, which made a pool of blood for the last part of the cutie mark.

“W-what kind of cutie mark is that?” gasped Fluttershy as she held a hoof to her mouth.

“Never fear! Rainbow Dash is here!” cried Rainbow Dash as she swooped into view, striking a pose before landing on the ground with a swift shut of her wings.

“Rainbow! Wait for us!” called Twilight Sparkle as she galloped into view, followed by Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Rarity.

“Really, Darling. You don’t need to go so fast.” commented Rarity as she tossed her hair back. Rainbow just snorted and rolled her eyes, making Pinkie Pie giggle.

“What’s the problem, Fluttershy?” asked Twilight, concern written all over her face. "Has something happened to your animal friends?"

“Um… Well… you see…” Fluttershy gestured to the mare on the floor. “I found her…”

“Well, I’ll be!” gasped Applejack.

“Oh my!” gasped Twilight as she felt the mare’s forehead.

“W-what’s the matter?” squeaked Fluttershy.

“She has a fever! A really high one!” cried Twilight. “We need to get her medical attention now!” Twilight’s horn and Rarity’s horn began to glow. Twilight’s, a dark pink, and Rarity’s, a dark blue.  A glow surrounded the mare and she was lifted into the air by the magic.

“T-thank you for the help.” said Fluttershy, as they started to walk back, slowly, as Twilight and Rarity were concentrating on keeping their magic steady around the mare. Rainbow flew under the mare to make sure nothing would happen and if something did happen, Rainbow would catch her. Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Applejack walked beside Twilight.

“I do hope she is alright, sugar.” said Applejack, concern in her voice.

Fluttershy sighed as she trotted forwards. “Me too.” she said as she glanced at the mare in the bubble.

*Time Skip*

When Fluttershy and the others have reached her house, the sun was low in the sky. “T-thank you.” Fluttershy sighed in relief, as the door to her cottage was opened by Pinkie Pie to let Twilight and Rarity use their magic to place the mare onto Fluttershy’s lounge chair.

“What should we do now?” asked Rainbow, as she hovered in the air. Twilight’s horn glowed less as the glow around the mare vanished. Rarity’s horn did the same. It took a while to get to Fluttershy’s cottage due to the fact they were walking slowly to not hurt the mare.

“I guess we should wait for her to wake up.” Said Twilight, as she felt the mare’s forehead for any signs of the fever.

“Her fever has gone down.” Twilight said, as she removed her hoof. A curious expression crossed her face for a second before it was gone. The mare stirred and moaned slightly.

“She’s waking up!!” screamed Pinkie Pie, jumping up and down excitedly. The mare winched as she stirred.

“Hush!” whispered Rarity loudly. The mare opened her eyes. They were a brilliant green - blue. Fluttershy noticed that a lot of things with the mare were similar to her, apart from the mane’s hair colour, tail and eye colour.

“Where… am I?” asked the mare. Her voice was dry and croaky. Her voice was barely a whisper.

“I-I’ll get you some water!” whispered Fluttershy and she hurried off to her kitchen. Twilight gave a warm smile.

“You’re in Fluttershy’s house. She was the one who just left. My name is Twilight,” Twilight pointed to herself. “This is Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash.” Twilight pointed to each one, who each gave the mare a warm smile. The mare gave a weak smile back.

Fluttershy came hurrying back in with a glass of water. “H-here y-you are.” She spluttered, as her hoof trembled. The mare gratefully took the water and gulped it back.

“T-thank you.” She said, her voice sounding much better, and handed the glass back. Fluttershy gave a small smile. Fluttershy’s heart began to beat faster as she looked at the mare. “What is going on? What is this feeling?”  She questioned. The two stared at each other until Twilight cleared her throat. “Ahem. May I ask what your name is?” she asked. The mare and Fluttershy were startled.

“O-oh…” spluttered Fluttershy as she moved away. The mare blinked. Several times. Finally, she opened her mouth.

“My name is Solar Storm.”
