This Isn't Goodbye

I never really cared about ponies. They're a nice enough bunch, apparently, especially considering the hoop-la they were thrown into five years ago. They can live their lives, and I'll live mine safe in the knowledge that the celestial ballet will continue to rise the sun in the east, the thin patina of gravity surrounding the Earth will keep me safely glued to the ground, and rain clouds are, and forever will be, a calming grey.

A grafted branch to the Five Score, Divided by Four universe. Not a necessary read to understand, if I'm doing my job right, though, a rather interesting read regrdless.
