Is this even necessary for this one? Well I suppose there'll always be that one guy who complains if I don't so;
The following story is pretty much based around the two main characters going at it, little else happens. It's a clop fic for the sake of being a clop fic, it'll either be something you love, or hate but either way, you've been warned.

Vinyl's snaky situation
The heavy beat, thumping in time to the pulsating red lights flashing across the dance floor from a railing above, was enough to cause a headache for most ponies. However the ponies currently under its light and dense smoke, made up from smoke machines lining the stage where the DJ was having the time of her musical life, were not complaining, in fact most were shouting for the max volume to go higher, despite it being unable too. Finally the music abruptly stopped and the ponies gathered on the floor, who had previously been throwing their hooves in the air, whilst trying to steady themselves from all the drinks they had indulged in that night, focused on the pony behind the DJ decks. Vinyl Scratch, or as she was known by most including present company; DJPon3, was a bright shining white unicorn mare, with an electric spikey blue mane that fell down the left side of her head like some sort of loud veil blocking her eyesight slightly. She had a pair of headphones around her neck that had a wire trailing into her deck and a pair of very loud purple shades on, hiding her magenta eyes from view. Her cutie mark was two bridged eighth notes, the notes often seen on piano songs, but there was nothing soft and gentle like a piano about this pony!
Vinyl looked across the crowd and her eyes, unseen by anypony, lingered on a particular pony sat at the bar. He nodded slightly at the DJ and she looked back to the crowd
“Alright peeps, sorry to say but we’re gonna have to cut this night to an end, I don’t need another visit from the royal guards so soon after the last one!” Vinyl said, with a grin as if the crowd of royal guards charging into her club, in the early hours of the morning, had been some form of entertainment. Many ponies groaned and called for an encore
“No can do, sorry ponies. Thanks to all of ya for turning up, hope you’ll have the energy to return again in the future, night.” Vinyl called out, her voice ringing over the mic on her deck.
Too finalise her point Vinyl clicked off the stage lights plunging her into shadow, so only her silhouette was visible. Vinyl hid under her decks, to look like she was clearing up and waited until the majority of the party high ponies had stumbled out of the building, then she appeared in view again. Vinyl looked towards the bar once more, the pony she had seen was still there staring down at his empty glass. Vinyl walked around her deck and across the stage, making her way slowly across the dance floor to the figure.
Closer inspection showed him to be one of the few in clothing. He was in a thick heavy looking grey trench coat with the rims pulled up and a fedora of matching grey was set on the table beside him. The trench coat hid most of the pony’s fur but without his fedora he was recognisable. He was dark night grass green with a dark chestnut brown mane that was incredibly short at the front and sides but long with a ponytail tied up at the back. He eyes were dark sky blue, almost black, but as he looked at Vinyl he smiled and he didn’t seem to look suitable in his clothing like that.
Vinyl lowered her glasses staring at the pony in the trench coat with a ‘you can’t be serious’ look
“What,” Vinyl pushed her glasses back up “Are you wearing, Trade?” Trade smiled
“What, thought I’d looked the part, what do you think?” He flipped the fedora onto his head and lowered his head down and frowned, his eyes in shadow
“You look like an idiot.” Vinyl said and Trade took off his hat with a shrug “So… Got it?” Vinyl asked. Trade nodded slightly and Vinyl beckoned over to an empty table, the last of the ponies’ finally aiming true and making their way out the door, the barpony beginning to clear up the bar before he left.
“So Vinyl, I take it your love life isn’t going so well?” Trade asked as he sat down opposite Vinyl
“Oh no, it’s going perfectly fine between me and Tavia, she’s just a little, ah, reluctant to move up a step.” Vinyl said with a smirk, but her would-be casual voice gave it away
“So THIS is how you want to solve it?” Trade asked reaching into a pocket and taking out a vial of bright purple liquid and setting it down between the two of them, closer to himself
“Well, figured it’d be interesting.” Vinyl said eyeing the vial “So… It’ll work then?” Vinyl stared into Trade’s eyes looking for signs of guilt. She knew him too well for him to fool her anymore. He didn’t look guilty, he looked nervous
“Yeah it’ll work Vinyl, but see the thing is…” Trade hesitated “It’ll have… A weird effect on your body.” He said
“What kind of effect?” Vinyl asked, crazy as she may be she wouldn’t ever want to get hooked on something
“Well…” Trade leaned forward, as did Vinyl, as he whispered softly what it would do.
Vinyl remained in the position of leaning forward to hear Trade for a few seconds, even as he leaned back
“Seriously?” Vinyl asked and Trade nodded
“Saw it myself, pony I got it off tested it right in front of me. It was actually kinda cool to watch but it looked a little painful at first, she did admit it being so as well.” But Vinyl was unconcerned about a little bit of pain
“And she could manipulate her new… Body?” she asked Trade nodded “Awesome.” Vinyl muttered “Right you’re on Trade, how much for this one?” Vinyl asked with a grin
“Sixty bits.” He said casually
“That cheap to start with? Normally it takes a bit to convince you to lower it.” Vinyl said “What’s the catch?” she asked suspiciously, Trade just shrugged
“She gave it out pretty cheap, to be honest. Seemed too have made enough for all of Equestria, I got a barrel of the stuff I’m just putting it in vials to sell separate, so sixty?” Vinyl shrugged, she didn’t have any reason to miss-trust the stallion. Vinyl had known him for years, he just had a knack for getting stuff under the tape
“Sure, I’ll take a vial.” Trade pushed over the purple liquid and Vinyl walked over to her decks and tipped out the appropriate bits. Trade scooped up his money and put it into one of the coats pockets
“Just make sure you only take a small amount, it’s powerful and long lasting a couple drops for an hour or two should suffice” Vinyl waved a hoof at him staring at the vial in her hoof.
Vinyl stashed the vial in a common shopping bag and waved goodbye to Trade as she began to set off for her apartment. The dark streets of suburban Canterlot stretched out seemingly endlessly, and the few street lamps winked knowingly at Vinyl. The large, red, six story apartment Vinyl was staying in slowly came into view, poking only slightly above its neighbours. Vinyl pushed open the lobby door to the ground floor of the apartment complex. The manager of the building lived on this floor so Vinyl had actually managed to train her rebellious brain to wait to get two floors up before making a sound. Tonight, however, not even Vinyl Scratch, the destroyer of quiet, wanted to make a sound.
Vinyl stealthily crept further and further up the building until she reached the fifth floor, which she currently resided in. Along with a good friend whom had previously been struggling until she let her stay with Vinyl. Vinyl Scratch the loud, obnoxious and attention seeker DJ was currently staying with; a cellist by the name of Octavia Melody. Vinyl had first met her in her own club actually, it seemed Octavia had wandered there blindly and the DJ took pity on her, they’d been friends ever since. Which irritated Vinyl slightly, she made so many moves, heck even bought her some hearts and hooves day gifts but Octavia was still rejecting her. Finally Vinyl called on Trade to acquire something that could help… Alter how Octavia thought. Vinyl glanced down at the bag in her magic and a grin stretch across her face, which she had to shake off as she fitted in the apartment key.
Octavia was strangely still awake, she was sat at the kitchen table a book propped up and a small cup of water in her hoof. Octavia had a light grey fur with a dark storm cloud grey mane, which was clearly groomed often unlike her roommates who clearly had split ends and spikes in her tail. Octavia also had a bright pink bow with a white collar that she never seemed to remove, much like Vinyl and her glasses really. Octavia turned in her chair and her purple eyes narrowed
“No explosion? No neighbours shouting you up the stairs for waking them up? Vinyl?” she growled in a voice of disbelief and suspicion
“What?” Vinyl tried for an innocent tone that wasn’t like her at all
“What are you up too?” Octavia asked suspiciously then eyed the bag “What did you get?” Octavia asked standing up from the table and walking towards Vinyl.
Vinyl dodged around Octavia’s prying eyes and began a brisk walk to her room
“Just some stuff for the club.” She said
“Clearly it is not ‘stuff for the club’ Vinyl.” Octavia growled “If it was you’d be showing it too me trying to get my interest, like you did with your new headphones.”
“Ah so you DID listen!” Vinyl said thinking she was expertly weaving around the conversation as she crossed the room, which seemed to be sliding backwards slightly so she wasn’t moving very fast. But Octavia wasn’t stupid
“Vinyl, what is in the bag?” Octavia jumped in front of the white mare and leaned incredibly close
“If you want a kiss you could’ve just asked.” Vinyl said grinning, playing her trump card. Instantly Octavia backed up turning a deep shade of red
“That’s-Not… Vinyl!” But she had already hoped around Octavia and into her room, bolting the door behind her with a sigh of relief.
Vinyl climbed onto her bed, sitting down and grabbing the vial from within the bag in her magic. She held it to eye level and silently ran through what she hoped would happen and would make sure happened. Octavia and her having some mind control based ‘fun’. Vinyl grinned widely and tipped the vial up and gulped the potion down greedily. She licked her lips and stared at the vial
“Tastes like doughy cookies.” She mumbled. Vinyl sat staring at the empty vial that the potion had been inside for a few seconds
“Should something have-ARGGGHHHHH!” Vinyl suddenly felt a searing hot pain in her lower body and she flopped off the bed and onto the floor, the vial dropping onto the sheets, her magic breaking instantly.
Vinyl kicked her hooves around screaming in agony, her rear hooves felt as if they were on fire and she just wanted it to stop
“Trade, you liar you said she looked like she was only in a little pain!” Vinyl cried out verbally, then she remembered what Trade had said at the end of their meeting; don’t drink all of it at once. Vinyl groaned then cried out. Finally Octavia arrived at the door thumping hard on it
“Vinyl what are you doing?” she sounded angry but her tone was also clearly concerned for her friend
“N-nothing!” Vinyl said her voice high as a fresh wave of pain spiked up her body.
Then Vinyl felt the pain briefly subside before continuing. Desperate, Vinyl tried to figure out how she had stopped the pain. Finally Vinyl pressed her rear hooves together and all the agony simply faded. Vinyl lay panting on the ground then registered Octavia’s panicked voice from behind the door
“Vinyl, Vinyl are you okay!?” Vinyl smiled faintly, it was nice to know Octavia did at least worry
“Yeah I’m fine Tavia, just bad cramp.” Vinyl said breathing heavily. There was a long pause before Octavia spoke again
“Open the door Vinyl.” Vinyl knew from her tone of voice arguing would simply make her get up and break down the door, and she’d likely end up getting hit by the speeding wooden shrapnel.
Reluctantly, Vinyl managed to drag herself towards the door with her front hooves. Vinyl managed to reach up and unlocked the door flopping back down sideways as Octavia opened the door. Octavia glanced around then noticed Vinyl lying sideways on the floor, her rear hooves clamps together, panting
“What was all that screaming for?” Octavia asked
“Told you, bad cramp.” Vinyl said, thankful she had her shades on, so that Octavia couldn’t see her eyes.
Octavia walked up to Vinyl and grabbed her shoulders
“Well then get- AHHH!” Octavia threw Vinyl backwards from her, she groaned looking up at Octavia
“What was that for?” she asked
“V-Vinyl your hooves!” Octavia said in a shaky voice. Vinyl glanced at her front hooves, then her back and gasped.
Vinyl’s rear hooves and tail seemed to be in the process of turning into half melted butter. Something like fleshy strings had leapt across Vinyl’s rear hooves and were, before her eyes, connecting them together with more appearing and spreading
“V-Vinyl, what’s happening?” Octavia shrieked “I’m going to call for help, hang on.” Vinyl paled slightly, she didn’t need the police right now, too many awkward questions. Vinyl lunged out and managed to grab Octavia’s rear right hoof before she disappeared. Octavia squealed in fright and whipped round pulling her hoof away
“Octavia wait, you can’t call for the police! What if they…” Vinyl stopped, she knew it would have more of an effect if she seemed too scared to verbally say what she thought would happen if Octavia called for somepony.
It worked, Octavia shifted nervously on her hooves then, reluctantly, she nodded
“Yeah… But Vinyl what are we going to… Oh Celestia.” Vinyl glanced back down at her hooves, they had joined together completely and when she tried to raise just one they both lifted together, she looked like an incredibly strange three legged pony with no tail then the pain returned. Vinyl cried out flopping onto her back and Octavia was beside her in a second
“V-Vinyl what’s wrong?” But the pain was preventing Vinyl from even speaking. It felt as if her bones themselves were being pulled, stretched like they were on a winch
“Oh gosh, Vinyl… Your hooves… They’re turning into a tail!” Octavia exclaimed.
Vinyl managed to force her head up and gasped, her hooves were indeed stretching out before her, scales had begun to crisscross her growing new tail and one side was turning electric blue like her mane. Vinyl glanced at Octavia who appeared mesmerised by the spectacle of her friend growing a new limb. Vinyl didn’t want to watch as her tail slowly stretched, curling around her room more and more, but she could no longer move her eyes away from where they were looking. Finally when Vinyl was going to admit defeat and ask Octavia to get help the pain subsided. Vinyl fell back panting from the pain and Octavia finally tore her eyes away from her tail
“V-Vinyl… You’re a snakepony.” She mumbled.
Vinyl managed to sit up stared at her new tail. Vinyl’s tail was a glorious white with an electric blue belly like her own and the length spanned a lot of her room, coiling over itself regularly to fit inside. Vinyl sat up slowly and tried to supress a grin, this was so cool, maybe she could hold Octavia upside down until she admitted her feelings, and of course she had her new… Skill. Octavia, however, bravely approached Vinyl’s new tail and ran a hoof slowly along it then looked at Vinyl
“How did this happen?” She asked. Vinyl was thankfully saved from looking guilty by her glasses which hid her eyes, which had glanced towards the empty vial near the bed
“I don’t know.” Vinyl lied. Octavia sat down with her head in her hooves
“Okay, tell me, what did you do today, did you drink anything or eat anything or-EEP!” Octavia squeaked as Vinyl’s tail shifted and a loop brushed the edge of her hoof.
Vinyl chuckled softly at her roommate’s reaction, granted making her tail move had been very difficult, it felt as if she were dragging something heavy, she then realised she been pushing it upside down. Vinyl spent a minute focusing on her tail, forcing it to right itself so the electric blue belly was on the floor, moving the tail was suddenly much easier than before, as Vinyl demonstrated to Octavia by making a little segment slide towards her. Octavia backed away and Vinyl managed to get a coil to raise up and fall down onto Octavia’s back. She shrieked and jumped forward, shooting daggers at Vinyl, but she was too busy with another thought.
Upon contact with Octavia, Vinyl had realised just how cold her new body part was and Octavia’s warmth had an almost irresistible pull to it
“Stop that Vinyl, you’re scaring me.” Octavia said as Vinyl realised her tail had been approaching the nervous grey mare again. Vinyl’s tail hovered close to Octavia before lowing itself to the ground, Vinyl stared at Octavia for a few seconds then made a decision. She was going to test her new mind control.
Vinyl’s faint smile faded as she realised she didn’t yet know how to use her new hypnosis powers, Octavia, however, was trying to tiptoe around Vinyl’s tail staring fixedly at every segment as she moved
“Where are you going?” Vinyl asked snapping the door close with her magic. Octavia looked nervously at her roommate and began to back away from her
“V-Vinyl something is very wrong with you.” She said in a forced calm voice hoping she’d listen to reason
“You’re right Tavia,” Vinyl whispered Octavia gulped nervously, her tone of voice was frightening “I’m cold… And you’re warm. I see a way to satisfy my problem, mind helping me?” Vinyl said with a grin.
Octavia took one more step away from Vinyl before her tail darted forward, quickly gripping her front right hoof clumsily, Vinyl’s tail attempting to coil Octavia’s hoof up. Octavia cried out in fright and shook her hoof vigorously taking a step back, into the centre of one of Vinyl’s coils which clenched down around her left back hoof. Octavia managed to shake off the first coil and hopped around, kicking the second coil. Vinyl chuckled softly as Octavia hopped around trying to pull Vinyl’s tail off herself, Vinyl grinned as Octavia fell backwards sitting down
“V-Vinyl let me go!” she said as Vinyl began attempting to get the tip of her tail to curl around Octavia’s body.
Octavia struggled and managed to escape the loose coil around her waist and ran backwards and turned to face the grinning Vinyl
“S-stop this V-Vinyl, you’re scaring me!” She said eyeing the coils that were slowly inching towards her. Vinyl had a sudden though, she had been debating how her hypnosis might work and remembered how she’d once seen a film where a villain had used their eyes. The villain’s eyes had filled with beautifully captivating colours that the victim couldn’t look away from. Well it wouldn’t hurt to try, Vinyl guessed.
Vinyl raised her hooves up and took of her glasses, levitating them over to the bedside table. She turned to Octavia with a mischievous grin but Octavia was more focused on her eyes. Her glasses had been shielding their change, before Vinyl had had her deep magenta normal eyes but now they were slitted like a snake’s. Octavia gulped nervously as Vinyl slid towards her, Vinyl’s tail spreading out around her like a low wall, trapping Octavia in the corner. Vinyl stopped when she was within reaching distance and spoke in a soft whisper
“Octavia, I want you to tell me; what colour are my eyes?”
Vinyl closed her eyes and focused intensely, when she opened her eyes a pleasant tingling sensation seemed to be spreading over her eyes slightly
“Vinyl your eyes are red they… Wait, no they’re blue how is that possible…? No, one of them is blue the other green… Now it’s purple… They’re changing, Vinyl your eyes are… Changing. It’s so… Beautiful.” Octavia’s speech became much slower as she spoke, staring into Vinyl’s eyes, which, unawares to Vinyl, were pulsating with multi-colourful rings. Vinyl however could see that Octavia’s own eyes were wide open, unblinking and that her pupils had shrunk to pinpricks and her mouth hung open as she watched the colours before her. Vinyl watched as Octavia’s own pupils burst into colourful pulsating rings, mimicking her own unseen ones. Octavia appeared confused, but unaware of the danger and Vinyl grinned, time to test what she could order her to do before moving forward a little more with the hypnosis.
Vinyl dragged several coils sluggishly around behind Octavia, who didn’t even look over but seemed to be aware of their presence, she tried to make a sound of protest but just sighed softly at first
“V-Vinyl… Please what… Doing to me?” she managed
“Nothing Octi, just sit down and get comfortable.” Vinyl whispered. Octavia’s hooves shook but she remained standing, Vinyl tried a different tactic “Octavia, sit down. Aren’t your legs tired, you’ve been up all night waiting for me, surely you can let them rest?” It seemed to work. While Octavia herself may have still been fighting, her body obeyed Vinyl and sat herself down upon the pile of coils and groaned in defeat her eyes drooping. Her pupils, which, until she had sat down, had managed to remain in her eyes producing the pulsing rings, had now faded away so her eyes were simply endlessly changing rings like Vinyl’s.
Vinyl grinned and looked down Octavia’s body, time to test just how flexible her new snake body was. Vinyl managed to drag her tail tip around Octavia’s back, Vinyl leaned over and watched her tail push Octavia’s own tail out of the way and curl underneath her. Vinyl’s tail brushed gently against Octavia’s plot before climbing up the front of her body, over her vagina to stroke the bottom of her stomach. Octavia groaned leaning forward and shifted where she sat, unintentionally rubbing herself on Vinyl’s tail. Vinyl managed to make her tail reverse and received another audible moan from Octavia, whose head had rolled onto her chest but her eyes remained fixated on Vinyl’s. Vinyl continued to rub Octavia gently with her tail until the poor mare couldn’t stand it. In one swift moment Octavia crossed over and became Vinyl’s obedient toy, a small smile spread across her face and she moaned a little louder and the hypnosis sent shivering waves of pleasure across her body.
Vinyl grinned at Octavia, whose smile widened slightly, and leaned towards her, Vinyl’s tail still pampering her down below
“You like that, the feel of my scales against your lower lips, don’t you Octi?” Octavia nodded still staring into Vinyl’s eyes despite them being vacant of their beautiful spirals “You’ve been telling me to get lost, that you aren’t interested in me. What do you say now?” Vinyl whispered a coil looping around Octavia’s neck that slowly pulled her back to lay on Vinyl’s tail
“I… I love you Mistress.” Octavia droned in a zombie like voice
“Good, and you don’t mind what your mistress does to you, or your body?” Vinyl’s grinned widened as Octavia shook her head
“No… I love every time your scales and fur ruffle my own body.” Vinyl might have almost given up her DJ decks to hear Octavia say that willingly.
Vinyl lowered several more loops of her tail over Octavia’s head and pulled her up, lowering herself down between Octavia’s legs, which Vinyl pushed apart
“Let me teach you why you shouldn’t refuse me. Let me make you addicted to me.” Vinyl cooed softly. Octavia, under normal circumstances, would have been screaming fit to shatter her voice for help, instead she sighed longingly and didn’t have to wait to find out Vinyl’s meaning. Vinyl gently pressed her muzzle to her friend’s vagina, her lips parting so slightly with a moan. Vinyl ran her tongue slowly from the bottom of Octavia’s vagina to the top, the grey mare shivering and squirming in her restraints
“Heh, did you like that?” Vinyl asked looking up with lidded eyes

“Mistress, please, I’m sorry!” Octavia begged, her pulsing eyes wide with unnatural guilt
“Well I still think you should be punished.” Vinyl whispered grinning
“Mistress?” Octavia managed in a fearful tone. Vinyl placed a hoof on one side of Octavia’s vagina and pulled back slightly, she then leaned forward and licked along the inner walls of Octavia’s vagina, much to the grey mares delight. Vinyl gripped either side of Octavia’s vagina and forced her long forked tongue deep within the fleshy cavern of Octavia, her tongue gleefully exploring every little cranny.
Octavia’s rear legs wrapped around Vinyl’s back and tried to push her further forward as she moaned. “Trade bought the original barrel of the potion off me and… Well, I asked him who he planned to sell it too. See I’m running an experiment on lamias, that’s the name of the creature we currently are, but only I was running as a lamia currently so I… Er hired Trade to find me another candidate and… Well, that was you.” Twilight finished rather lamely
“So… I’ve just been a lab rat this whole time huh?” Vinyl grumbled
“Well… More a lab snake.” Twilight said with a slight smile “You’re not… Mad are you?”
“If you can give me some more of that potion I won’t be mad.” Vinyl said in a low voice, but Twilight burst out laughing and Vinyl blushed
“Enjoyed the effects huh?” Vinyl, reluctantly, nodded “Well tell you what,” Twilight’s horn glowed and she curled her tail up into a sort of chair and sat down. A bright flash made Vinyl blink and when she looked Twilight was levitating a notepad and pencil “If you can explain, in as much detail, what you did, feelings and such when in your new form I’ll supply you with a bit more of the potion.”
Vinyl smirked and Trade had to hold his mouth with a hoof to stop himself laughing
“What’s so funny?” Twilight asked
“Miss Sparkle, she wanted the potion just for the mind-control to convince her friend to have a love interest in her.” Trade said
“And I am going to go into so much detail.” Vinyl said with a grin. Twilight blushed slightly but didn’t seem deterred in the slightest. When Vinyl was finished, however, Twilight was a deep shade of red and Vinyl was suppressing laughs, Trade had had to put a tissue to his nose after the first five minutes into the hypnosis part, and was now staring at Vinyl with a large grin
“So, all in all, what you wanted?” He asked
“Pretty much.” Vinyl said with a nod, Twilight appeared to round off her note then looked up at Vinyl
“Well… You sure kept to your word that was… VERY detailed but… It should help to know how other ponies react to not only the hypnosis but the change… Anyway, like I promised.” Twilight’s horn, once again, began to glow and was followed by a flash. The very same potion Vinyl had acquired off Trade the previous day levitated over to Vinyl who gently took it in her magic
“Just don’t drink it all at once again… or maybe do, it’d be interesting to see how long larger doses last, I’ve only taken spoonful’s so far and they lasted days.” Twilight said cheerfully.
Vinyl stared down at the potion and smirked
“Yeah… I’ll try to make this last, I think Octavia’s starting to enjoy this form.” Vinyl said nodding in thanks to Twilight “Hay Twi… Who did you test your abilities on?” Vinyl asked
“Oh… Just a few of my friends.” Twilight smiled and disappeared out the door
“So what you gonna do now, hide behind the DJ decks or is the show not on?” Trade asked
“Oh the show will go on, in fact I think I’ve got an idea for a new light show, I don’t think anypony will be able to ignore it.” Vinyl whispered with a grin
“…Somehow I think I’m going to have to literally keep my head down around you.” Trade muttered. Vinyl chuckled then curled her tail around her friend’s neck leaning against him
“Now why would you want to do that, you might miss out. I thought you were thinking very hard, trying to imagine what Octavia and I did. Maybe you’d like to experience it with us?” Vinyl asked turning Trade’s head to face her
“Get up and set up your decks already, Vinyl.” He muttered as Vinyl laughed, sliding away and stowing the little potion under her decks, she was going to enjoy tonight, and every other night in this new form.
