"Refreshing."
That's the first word that came to mind as the boy stepped out into the warm, welcoming summer air. With a content stretch and a happy grunt, he peered forward to the still-active streets of Canterlot, the ever-growing night life already showing signs of its busy few hours approaching. Having just spent the last half hour or so indulging in the delicious delicacies provided by the city's local bakery, his stomach gurgled uncomfortably with the all-too-familiar sensation of an overstuffed tummy making itself known. He started towards a nearby parked car, a small, folded section of paper withdrawn from his jean pocket.
The boy leaned up against the driver's side door of the car as he approached it, and unfurled the sheet. A heavily creased tourist's map that had just been lying on the sidewalk, abandoned, proved quite useful to Steel String that evening, who had taken it upon himself to tour this new city and see as much as he could before school started in a few days.
Steel String, a high school senior riding on the sunset months of his final year, had been a generally happy teenage boy back in Manehattan. Good grades, wonderful friends, and a passion for guitar were among the most enjoyable aspects of his daily life. A few short-lived romances, a number of live gigs with friends, and a hell-of-a-lot of fun are what gave life value, Steel felt. After all, a happy life is a meaningful one, right? However, come the dawn of his seventeenth birthday, Steel and his parents had faced the unfortunate obligation to travel to another city for his father's work; far from his friends, far from what made him comfortable. Steel was forced to uproot himself and start life anew in a totally unfamiliar environment.
Canterlot City, being among one of the most pristine cities in the world to live, had thus far proven itself to be quite the luxurious and pleasant new home. The city itself was abuzz with energy; its countless buildings and shops radiated glamor and ornateness and its denizens confidently walked the streets with not a care in the world. Intimidating, even.
Despite the near-perfect complexion of the city, however, Steel already faced the difficulties of adjusting. Though he was no stranger to big cities (Manehattan being fairly large itself), the young man
The little make-out session continued with eager gusto. Sunset's hands leisurely glided across Steel's back and neck, down his arms, and past his chest, taking a fine opportunity to feel just how toned and firm his body really was, despite the rather skinny outward appearance. A deep sense of contentedness and warmth overtook most of the submissive girl's senses, making her feel safe, protected, and warm. She ignored the obvious fact that a leather jacket also covered her body, however; such a trivial thing was far too minor to focus her attention on compared to what was happening currently.
Steel did much of the same; one hand traveled up the length of her covered arm while his other snaked around her svelte body, hugging against her as the two shared their moment of passion together, their breaths mingled in a heated bliss and their hearts beating as one. His free hand shifted toward Sunset's shoulder and neck, taking a moment to caress the sensitive, smooth skin, before gradually moving up to her hair. Her glorious locks were like silk; the mere touch felt like the caressing of a thousand little feathers on Steel's trembling hands. Fingers entwined in the sleek strands, he delicately massaged Sunset's head with the very tips of his fingers, inciting a soft moan of approval felt in his mouth.
