Alone With Princess Cadence

You've been at the Crystal Empire for a few days now. You've been sent here because Twilight Sparkle asked you to help her sister in law Cadence out around the castle when she could use a hand or two. You agreed to go to the Crystal Empire to help your friends sister in law out for... who knows how long.

After the Train dropped you off at the station, Twilight walked with you.

"Jesus, this place is huge." You mumbled to yourself.

"I know right?" Said Twilight all excited like. "This is where Princess Cadence lives, or my sister in law."

"Huh." You said as you kept walking with your purple unicorn friend. "So... how long am I gonna be here?" You ask.

"Only a week." What? A week?

'I thought it was only a few days.' You think to yourself. Oh well, can't argue with that now, can you?

"Sorry," Twilight said as you both stopped in front of the doorway. "I really thought it was gonna be a few days too. I know what you was thinking, and I heard from her letter before we came here is that she's got a injury, and she said that she'll be thankful if you came along, especially with those hands of yours." Twilight said as she looked at your hands.

"Ah." Was all that came out of your mouth. "What happened?"

"She wrote that she fell off of a bridge and hit her hoof really bad, and it feels like that it's broken, and she can't walk on it for a little over a week or so."

"What about your brother? Can't he take care of her, or... where is he?"

"He's in Canterlot right now, protecting royal master piece in Celestia's castle."

"Mmm..." You groaned. You really hope that it wont be so bad, taking care of Twilight's sister in law for a week. It can't go bad, can it?

"Well, let's go inside and meet Cadence."

"Okay." You said a bit nervous. Twilight opens the door, and she walks inside as you walk behind her. The sound of your footsteps and Twilight's hoof-steps echo through out the very large room of the castle. As you kept following a Twilight with that bag on your shoulder that's full of clothes. You remember seeing a bright heart that... powers the... castle? You believe that's what you heard from Twilight. If not it could be powering something else if you're not mistaken.

About a few minutes passed and you start to hear a little moaning.

"Oh, sorry your highness." You hear what sounds like a guard said that.

"It's okay." You hear a female voice. You and Twilight walk into a really big room. There is a mare who's in her bed as one of her hooves are wrapped around in a bandage. You're guessing that a guard was trying to make her comfortable by trying to get her to feel better while Shining Armor's away.

"Ah, Twilight." Said the Princess in the bed.

"Cadence!" Twilight said as she ran to her. Oh, so this must be her.

"Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves and do a little shake." They said together as Cadence tried to play along with Twilight, but she couldn't hardly.

"What was that thing that you two just did?" You asked a little bit... disturbed.

"It's this thing Cadence and I did when I was a filly!" Twilight chuckled.

"Oh." You said with a smile. You didn't want to judge them on that cause you know better not to. Anyways, while you're gonna be in the Crystal Empire. You really hope that you, and this "Princess Cadence" will be awesome friends.

"So Twilight. Is this your friend you was talking about?"

"Yes." Twilight said with a smile. She introduces you. "He's from another world that's way different then Equestria."

"My, my." Said Princess Cadence as if she's getting interested in the story of your human world. You just stood there, mouth zipped, bag over your shoulder. Have nothing to say, huh? Your brain must be dead by now.

"Twilight, why don't you give him a tour around the castle." Said Princess Cadence to Twilight. "He's got to get to know the place."

"Great idea. I have plenty of time to give him a tour around this castle." Twilight trots to you. "Come on." She said as she finished the sentence with your name, and grabbed your hand with her wing. This is gonna be a long day.

You have no idea how long it's been when you walked around the castle with Twilight. Telling you this and that, and where everything is. Damn, at least you can stretch your muscles a little bit. Even when you have that bag behind your back, you still like to walk around. Some guards would stare you down, and their faces would turn into a state of shock when they see you. It gave you the creeps when they did that. Are they statues or something?

Twilight walks outside. "Wait, what are you doing?" You ask her.

"This leads to the balcony."

"The balcony?"

"Yeah, come check out the view." You walk outside with her. Oh, it's got a nice view of that large acres of land. You didn't pay any attention to the balcony.

"Whoa." Was all that you can say. You're completely speechless. This is an amazing view, you're not gonna lie.

"I know right?" Twilight said as she looked at you with that excited face. The breeze feels so nice, and you would love to look at this amazing view, but sadly, things have to come to an end.

"Come on, let's go back inside."

"Alright." You said as you walked inside with Twilight.

After a minute or so on walking, you went into Cadence's room, she greets you two. "Oh hi, how was the tour of the castle."

"It was cool." You said as you sat your stuff down, and put your hands in your pockets.

"That's great." Said Cadence as she takes a slurp of her water.

"So Cadence." Said Twilight as she waled to her. "Is there anything I can do to help you out before I make my way back to Ponyville?"

"I think I'm fine, Twilight, thank you." Twilight smiled and nod. She would be happy to help her sister and law, but Cadence doesn't have anything that she needs to do for her.

"Well, I guess I'm heading back to Ponyville." Twilight said as she started to walk out the door. "Oh, did you bring everything you need?" She asked as she looked at you.

"It's all in my bag." You said pointing at it. "Magazines, clothes, everything."

"Alright." Twilight said with a smile. "I hope you two will get along well. I'll see you in a week."

"See ya!" You and Cadence wave goodbye to Twilight as she makes her way to the train station.

"That'll be all for now, Rockbottom. Thanks." Said Princess Cadence to one of her guards.

"Yes your majesty." He said as he bowed to her, and walked out of the room. As he did...

"Uh... you want me to get you anything?" You asked her.

"I'm good for now, thank you though. But I could use a little bit of company."

"Sure." You said as you look for a chair to sat down on. There's one. "Can I use that chair?" You asked her. Cadence nods and you grabbed the chair and sat down on it.

"So," Said Cadence as she looks at you. "Tell me about yourself." You tell her everything about your world that you came from, and how you randomly ended up in Equestria. You can't remember how, but you remember hitting your head on the ground so hard, that it gave you a concussion.

"My," Said Cadence as her eyes go wide. "You're world must be so interesting."

"Uh... not really." You said to her.

"What makes you say that?"

"...Well..." You try to explain as you rub the back of your head. You tell her as you came here, there are ponies in your world.

"Are they like us?" Cadence asked as her eyes go wide.

"Not really." You said in a sad tone.

"H-How come?" She asked. You tell her that ponies are kept for farming and what not. Like... cats and dogs, and other animals. "Oh, that sounds terrible."

"I really don't blame you." You said to her as you looked at your shoes. "My world fucking sucks." You kicked the ground softly as you said that. "Where I'm from, the only vibrant things in my world are us humans. Nothing else, it's really sad to see something like that every single day."

"Yeah, I know how you feel." Said Cadence now in a sad tone. You tell her the rest of your story about your home world, and she was amazed at what she heard. Though, you were careful on what to talk about. Not to make you get beaten by her guards, or thrown off of the balcony. That's what you think.

"Pretty interesting." Said Cadence as she rested her head on her uninjured hoof. "Wanna know about me?"

You shrugged and smiled. "Why not. Don't new friends get to know each other?" You both laugh at your question. Cadence tells you everything about protecting the crystal Empire, and how she saved Canterlot two or three times in a row, she also told you that Twilight saved her from a sudden doom where Queen Chrystalis made an impostor out of her. Cadence's story got you good.

"Wow," Was all that came out of your mouth.

"Yeah, it was a pretty tough thing to do. But all in all, it was worth it at the end." You both shared a heart felt laugh as she said that. "You know," Said Cadence getting your attention. "Twilight was right. I think we're going to become great friends."

"I think so too." You said with a smile. This is gonna be good. Twilight was right after all. Cadence is awesome. You two just become good friends so far, and you know stuff about her. This is gonna be a fine week for you at least.

The Next Day.

Day two rolls in, and you're now helping Cadence out with whatever she needs since that her hoof isn't healed properly. You helped her out, like getting her a glass of water, maybe help out the guards with some stuff that they need. Whatever it was to get you on your feet, and you were cool with it.

It's now high noon, and you head back to Cadence's room. She's reading a book while her hoofs are tucked underneath her.

"Oh, you're back." She said as she noticed your return.

"Yeah, just came back to check on you. You need anything else?"

"I think that's all for now. Thank you."

"No problem." You said with a smile. You sat back in your chair feeling a little bit dizzy. "Mmm... damn."

"What is it?"

"I felt light-headed for a sec." You said as you closed your eyes for a small second, and opened them. You did feel better, but exhausted from running around all damn day.

"Oh." Cadence said as she looked a little bit worried. "You need any pain-pills?"

"Nah, it'll be fine. Thanks." It won't be fine. It did come back, but it's not bothering you that much. You're now getting a head-ache. "Goddamn." You said as you put a hand to your head.

"Why don't you go rest for a little bit, and take some pills too. You don't know how bad that can be." Cadence said as she looked at you. She's right, you don't wanna wake up feeling like crap now do you? So you did as she told you to do. Go get some rest, take some pain pills, and maybe it'll go away till you wake up.

One Hour Later.

You wake up from your small nap. You slowly sat up, and... hey, you feel a lot better now. Thank god! You sat up from the little couch that you rested on since day one. Or... yesterday.

You put your shoes back on, and you walked to Cadence's room. You knock on the door before entering.

"Come in." You hear Cadence voice in a sing-song type. You entered her room as you see her still reading the same book she was when you left. "Oh hi," She said as she saw you. "Feeling better?"

"Yeah, thanks." You said to her. "You want me to get something for you?" Cadence puts a hoof to her chin to think.

"Uh... Okay?" You said as you was about to sit in the chair.

"Do you think you can shut the door?" What? What's she planning?

"Sure?" You said as you got up off of your chair, and shut the door. You then see a light blue hue surround the little lock thing on the door, and it turned all by itself. Hearing a small metallic click as you watched in shock. Something's not right about this pony. "Uh... what was that?" You asked without thinking.

"Silly boy. Did you think I'll let you leave like that?" She said in that same tone in her voice.
