A mare from overseas moves to Equestria. She keeps to herself as she gets off of her ship in Horseshoe Bay, and makes her way to Canterlot, to perches land. She wears a long, black cloak with the hood up, and a thick pair of dark glasses. She uses her magic to drag a pair of large bags behind her. She arrives in Canterlot by train a day later, and using foreign silver, buys a very large plot of land near Ponyville, alongside the tracks that connect the small town and Canterlot. Within a month, a walled compound was built on the land, a virtual fortress so the mare could live in privacy. She also purchased many, many animals. The reason, was anyponies guess.
Rumors almost immediately spread that the mare used the animals to feed horrific monsters she has summoned. Several ponies calmed to go to the compound, only to be chased away by huge monsters that seemed to be a mixture of Dogs, Bears, and some reptilian creature.
The mare occasionally makes appearances in town, to get food and other necessities. She rarely has the hood of her clock down, but when she does other can see that she has a light brown coat, a very long brown mane tied into a ponytail, and emerald green eyes that almost glow when the light hits them. Few attempt to talk with her, and those who do keep distinct do to fear of what others may say. This day, however, was different.
Somepony approaches the mare, who doesn’t have her hood up today. “Hello there.” The mare turns around and sees a white Unicorn with a heavily styled purple mane and tail.
The mare turns around so fast her glasses almost fly off. “Umm....Hi.” She replies, not used to ponies talking to her so openly.
“If you don’t mind me saying, while I find your cloak adorable, it looks a little...worn.” The white Unicorn remarks. “Somepony as pretty as you mustn't be seen in such a rag.” She uses her magic to lift the corner of the old cape. “Come with me, I’ll make you a new cape to match your lovely eyes.”
“You...think they're lovely?” The mare says, blushing a bit in disbelief. “Umm...Okay, let’s go.” She starts following the White mare, thinking she might actually make a friend in Equestria. As they walked, some ponies would mutter to one another. The young mare whispers to herself: “They’re all so skittish. I wonder how they would react if something that was really dangerous came along.”
“What was that?” The white mare asks.
“Oh...Nothing.” She says nervously. “My names Tetrianna, by the way. Tetrianna Windswept.”
“Windswept? That sounds really familiar.” She pauses for a moment. “Oh well, my name’s...” The mare’s voice becomes super quiet, to the point where she could not be heard. “My boutique is right around the corner, I’m sure I can find a cape that suits you.”
“Okay. Umm...I don’t really have enough money right now for a new cape though.” Tetrianna points out.
“Oh don’t worry about it.” The mare cheerfully states as she reaches the door. “This ones on the house.” She opens the door, and after the jingle she proudly proclaims: “Welcome to the Carousel Boutique!”
Tetrianna walks in slowly, scanning the big room and the bounty of hoof made cloths it housed. She’s in awe of the beautiful dresses that coat the walls and racks.
“Make yourself at home, Darling. I’ll get some cloaks for you to try on.” The mare cheerily stats as she walks off to the other room.
Tetrianna looks for a place to sit, unfortunately, the only place is occupied by a white persian cat, who seems very reluctant to move. She tries to coax the cat off, but it’s apparent that it isn’t going to budge.
She starts feeling little scratches on her chest, and starts to notice that things are off. Some things seem oddly shaped, or a different color then they were a few moments ago. The cat seemed to change species slowly as she stared.
Tetriana sits up, she looks around. She’s in a rather regal looking room, laying in a huge bed. Realizing that she’s in her bedroom, and the claws she felt were that of her pet Chimera, a cat bunny named Fluffle, she lets out a sigh and hugs the creature. “Just another dream. I wonder if I’ll ever actually make a friend.”
