Starla was a princess for as long as she could remember. She didn't like it though, she would rather spend her time gazing at the stars. Her mother, the queen had just left on a trip, leaving Starla in charge, when news came from the guards. "You highness! The Elements Of Harmony are missing!" A gray pegasus guard, with a black mane told her "First of all, you don't need to call me that, second of all, WHAT!" Starla almost fainted but stopped herself. We must activate the backup at once! Stalr thought. She ran down a long hallway to a box. She opened the lid and sighed in relief. "The actual elements are here." She placed the element of magic on her head. Starla was the replacment if they went missing, Starla could control the element along with five other ponies, the catch was she still needed to find thoses certain ponies. She started looking for the ponies that fit the qualities. Her guard that reported to her was the element of honesty. She made friends with an earth pony called Music Note, she was the element of kindness. She had a friend called Misty, she was the element of loyalty. She met a pony called Shadow, she was the element of generocity. The element of laughter was claimed by a pegasus named Angel. They all became best friends and decided that they should look for the original Elements Of Harmony. They went to the Everfree Forest, but nopony was their. They started searching across Equestria when they came upon a small village...that all had the same cutie mark. The cutie mark was an equal sign and they had very odd smiles that lasted forever. They explained the cultures, how they took the cutie marks to show equality. They instisted they stay. The leaders name was Starlight Glimmer. Starlight had a deviuos plan to get them to join the equal village. She new eventually one of them would crack and join. She was right, a few of them did, first Music Note, then Shadow but none others. Starlight sent them into a house with "positive" comments.
