Days in Equestria

Tyler was a normal 16 year old kid. He was 5'10, had dirty blond hair, and was a good runner. He enjoyed going to the shooting range, airsofting, and had interests in the military.

Tyler was going through his closet to grab a jacket to go to the range with his grandfather when he came across a mirror he had never seen before. "Where did this come from?" Tyler asked as he tried to run his hand over the mirror, but it just went straight through. He pulled out the mirror by the frame and leaned it against the wall. He put his other hand through, then his head, and soon he was all the way through. He was in some small cottage, it was dark and dusty. There was a sofa and an armchair around a coffee table. there was a small kitchen with an island in the middle of it, a stove and a sink. "I will definitely explore this place. I just need some things." He said as he turned to head back to the mirror.

He made his way back through the mirror. "Grandpa, I need the gun. I found a mirror that leads to another place, I guess, and I don't know whats there so i want to be prepared. "I find this hard to believe." His grandfather said. "I'll show you." Tyler said as he led his grandfather upstairs to show him the mirror. After Tyler showed him the mirror, his grandfather let him take the gun. Tyler went downstairs and grabbed the Beretta M9 as well as the two magazines that went with it. He grabbed some food and packed it in a backpack he grabbed. He went back upstairs, grabbed his pistol holster and strapped it on. Tyler slid the M9 into it and hid it under his jacket and went through.

He was back in the same cottage, he walked over to the window and saw he was in a forested area. he walked outside to see what the house was like. As he was walking around the outside he heard screaming. He turned around and ran about a hundred yard when he came across a path. He looked to his right and saw 5 ponies around a manticore. and one being held by it. He ran towards the ponies and a purple one turned around. "AHH! Who are you?! and what are you?!" She yelled. "Uhh, my name is Tyler, I am a human. I heard screaming and ran to see what was wrong." Tyler said as the purple pony circled around him studying him. "Well I am twilight Sparkle. That is Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbowdash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie" Twilight said. "Now we must get going if we are going to stop nightmare moon." She said as she turned back to her friends. "Mind if I join you guys?" Tyler asked. "I dont know, would you be able to help us?" Twilight asked turning back. "I could keep you guys safe." He said as he walked with them.

After some walking and some more challenges, they made it to the castle. Twilight was inside doing her thing with the elements when nightmare moon appeared. "Ahh!" Twilight shouted. "Oh shit.." Tyler said under his breath as he bolted inside. He dove towards the bright light and then he was in another room on the ground. He got up and peered out from a pillar he was thrown behind. He saw Twilight being confronted by Nightmare Moon. "Oh crap, I need to do something." Tyler said. Twilight was now on the ground about to be blasted by Nightmare Moon. "Well now is a better time than ever" Tyler said as he pulled out the M9 and cocked it. He raised the gun and fired two rounds at Nightmare Moon. The gunshot rang out and echoed in the decrepit castle. The bullets hit Nightmare Moons armor and bounced off, throwing Nightmare Moon off balance missing her shot. "What the.." Nightmare Moon said as she looked over at Tyler. "Well well well. now there is a sight I have not seen in a while." Nightmare Moon said as she aimed her horn at Tyler about to blast him. Tyler dove behind a pillar as the blast hit it throwing up a cloud of smoke. "Tyler!" Twilight shouted as she got up. Tyler, using the cloud to his advantage, made his way around the pillars.

As soon as he thought he was close enough, he charged at Nightmare Moon. He shot at her while running to knock her off balance, then tackled her to the ground. "Twilight, get to the elements do your thing!" Tyler shouted as he wrestled Nightmare Moon. Twilight was making her spark when Nightmare Moon turned back into her cloud and threw Tyler against the wall, then flew back over to Twilight. Tyler, now lying on the ground, could barely make out what was going on. His vision was blurred and his gun was on the ground just out of arms length. Tyler reached out for the gun but passed out.

He awoke in a library in a bed. He looked out the window to see a celebration going on.
