//-------------------------------------------------------// The Diary of Harmony -by The Silver Shroud- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Entry one //-------------------------------------------------------// Entry one Journal entry one Greetings to whomever finds this journal, I am Harmony, spirit of order, and a friend of mine told me to write my story in here, I don't know what to write about so lets begin with how I was born, well not born really, I was concepted? No, that doesn’t sound good either, lets just say I was brought forth a many a moons  ago. I have existed for over ten thousand years and will plan on existing for many more. I have a body of a lion with fur of pure silver. And that is all there is to know about me. ..... ..... Apparently my paragraph was not sufficient enough for my friend. I suppose I should tell you a little about her. She is an earth pony mare, with a green coat and a coal black mane tied back into a bun with hair pin made of oak wood. Her name is Wash Cloth. Her Cutie Mark is in the shape of a washing board. Seeing has how I don’t really interact much with ponies you probably want to know how I am friends with her. It started two years ago when I was traveling through the ruins of a Diamond Dog temple. I had eavesdropped on villagers from nearby that the temple was a source of great chaos and decided to purge it from the area. I opened the door to the sight of a injured Wash Cloth as a minotaur bandit was about to gorge her with his horn. I ended him right there. Looking at the unconscious mare I tilted my head at her, not knowing what to do. After a small amount of consideration I decided to bring her back to the village and purge the temple upon a later date. The sudden appearance of a talking silver lion was not met with open forelegs. But after explaining who I was and the bandit, they instead started to molest me with their forelegs. A small changeling even rubbed her head against me in what I was told late called a nuzzle. When I dropped Wash Cloth at the doctors, I was told that the minotaur I had slain was in fact a notorious bandit that had been terrorizing the town for months. After a while of walking around and asking questions about the anomaly of chaos to no avail, I decided to return to the doctor’s office to see if the mare had awoken from her slumber. I entered the office expecting to see the elderly doctor but was met with a lounge buy Wash Cloth who nuzzled me roughly while shouting words of gratitude in my ear. After the doctor stopped the constant ringing in it, I replied my your welcomes to the mare. When the towns constable questioned her on her being inside ruins, she said that she was looking for a legendary wringer inside the temple...this was met to the laughs of the townsfolk, and a frown from a the mare. Deciding that I was done I turned my back towards the doro but felt a pull on my tail. Looking back I saw Wash Cloth bow down and say, “I swear good sire, to one day repay my debt to you.” When I told her that was not necessary she waved me off, saying that a mare such as her as a code not so easily put aside. Shrugging it off I bid her farewell and took my leave. I started my journey back towards the temple when I heard the sound of wood breaking. Throwing my head toward the direction of the sound I saw Wash Cloth blushing, with a broken twig at her hooves. “Oops,” she had said. When I asked her what she was doing here she told me that she was going to get that wringer and that since our goals were parallel to each other that she should tag along. I rolled my eyes at the idea of having a mere mortal such as herself come along with me, but she seemed to have noticed my expression because the next thing I knew she was glaring at me. She started to say that I would have to tear her to shreds before she would leave. I thought about showing my teeth to her and hopefully scaring her off, but something inside me halted that course of action and chose to give her a chance. I told her she could come and put my paws against my ears as she shrieked in joy. Telling her to to be quiet, she did. After a few minutes of walking we came upon the temple and after few minutes of walking inside it, we found something shocking. The place where the bandit’s body fell was now replaced with a small puddle of blood. The body was gone. A sound from a nearby hallway caught my attention. Treading carefully towards it, Wash Cloth zoomed past me and into the hallway, with me giving chase. I chased her down dark, twisting hallways with only the light of the torch in her mouth providing light. And that’s when I saw that she stopped. Preparing to berate her I saw that she seemed to be in a trance. but looking at what she was staring at I realized it was just the reaction of amazement, for in the room stood a bronze wringer. While Wash Cloth ran towards it I was baffled at how a wringer could be a source of chaos, that is until I saw what happened when you took it. As Wash Cloth tied the wringer to her back I noticed that there was a hole under the place the wringer had been, and gasped as a black liquid started to rise from it. “primordial water!” I shouted. For those, confused primordial water is a substance that is said to be that all that remains of the place before the universe was created. It is quite deadly, even to a creature as powerful as myself. I growled at Wash Cloth to gallop for higher ground, but saw that the liquid had stopped rising. We stared at it for a second before the sound of bubbles popping caught our attention. The primordial water started to shift and before long Wash Cloth and myself were face to face with a shadowy diamond dog with red eyes. It roared at me, making me leap into action I pit at its tail but was thrown across the room when it whipped it harshly to the side. I looked to see what had happened to Wash Cloth but saw no sight of her. Looking up, I rolled to the side as the shadow dog’s fist hit the ground, making small amounts of marble to fly into the air. Adjusting myself I got into attack position and roared with the voice of peace only to see that it barely scratched the creature. I dodged a swipe from one of it’s paws and landed right in front of a statue of a Diamond Dog holding a sword. The shadow dog didn’t come at me, instead raising it’s foreleg and hitting the ground, making a small earthquake in the process. I yelped in pain as the shattered pieces of the statue hit me and crushe dme. Looking up I saw the shadow dog coming closer with it laughing madly. I looked straight at it, prepared to meet my fate, when the most unexpected thing happened. It started to shrink. The shadow dog must have noticed it too because it started to howl in pain. Before long I noticed the source of the pain. Wash Cloth was apparently wringing the shadow dog with the wringer, the dog’s body parts disappearing into flashes of light as it got sucked into more of the wringer, until eventually the shadow dog disappeared leaving Wash Cloth and me along. Running towards me she started pushing the blocks of stone off me. After she had freed me, and I made sure there wasn’t any more chaos we left for the surface where as I was about to say my thank you and goodbyes she spoke up. She asked me if I had a home, and after some thought said no, she said that I was welcome at her place anytime. And that’s how I met Wash Cloth. Now if you'll excuse me dinner is ready and Wash Cloth is making pork chops for me.
