Chapters Chapter I Something strange is happening
Early in the morning of a cool summer's day, the sky was bright and blue; the weather was just right for flying. Rainbowdash was trying to catch her marefriend before she had left for her royal duties as the Princess of Friendship. Rainbow managed to catch Twilight, as she was walking out of her castle. She was preparing to fly to Canterlot.
With a quick dive bomb, she tackled the poor unsuspecting Twilight with a thud. "SURPRISE!" shouted Rainbowdash, "I wanted to see you off, considering I won't be able to spend any time with you until next week, my love. I don't know how I'm going to cope without you."
Twilight got up as Rainbowdash lifted herself up. Then she began to dust herself off. Twilight had become used to the spontaneous cyan Pegasus Jumping on her unexpectedly. "I will miss you too, my beloved Dashy. but you can write to me whenever you want, and I will reply to you whenever I have the time to, and you will never leave my mind my cyan moon." Twilight replied, in a gentle yet loving tone.
Rainbowdash blushed at the poetic reply from Twilight, "Awe Twilight you're such a romantic, now I'm going to miss you even more now."
And gently kissed Twilight on her cheek, and Twilight kissed her lovingly back. Then the two ponies went their separate ways after briefly embracing each other in an intimate hug between two lovers. As Rainbowdash was returning to her house in Clouds Dale, she couldn't help but remember hers and Twilight's first date on that mountain hearths warming night. How Luna had made the spectacular light show with a magnificent comet fly over the two ponies, which left her mare friend awestruck, their first kiss; and how they spent the night together drinking hot cocoa. It was Rainbow Dash's favorite night; it would always make her feel as happy as a filly who got her cutie mark on the day she found out what her true talent was.
Rainbowdash was so distracted she had nearly missed her friend, A'J hailing her from the ground. Rainbow aroused from her daydreaming flew down to greet her friend "Hey, AJ what can I do you for?"
"What are you doing flying around all daydream like? Applejack chastised the cyan Pegasus, "You could of ran into something or somepony."
"I was... ahh... thinking um... about the wonder bolts yeah, that's it."
"Mmm hmm, I'm sure you were, Ms Twidash" Applejack replied cheekily,
"Of course I was, I was thinking of the wonder bolts I'm telling you the truth AJ," Rainbowdash replied indignantly
"Your a real sentimental pony aren't you Ms Dashy." Applejack chuckled,
After the conversation had concluded, Rainbowdash took off like a bullet out of a gun to get away from the taunting farmer pony.

Pinkie Pie was wondering around Ponyville, seeing who was awake, then surprising them with a great big, "Hello!" Making them laugh with glee from the surprise. The excitable and random pony often did this when the mood struck her, she would also be baking cupcakes in her house preparing for a party on that same day.
However today was a little different, her Pinkie senses we're playing up something chronic, predicting that something strange was about to happen. Pinkie had told Gummy about it several times already she had also told the gang excluding Twilight who had gone to do some royal duties in Canterlot.
Pinkie was about to head to Spike, to tell him about it. When she found Spike she started talking to him about her prediction, when suddenly Spikes eyes began to glow bright white as bright as the sun.
"Pony to Alicorn I see; is it you or is it me. Will we find out that which the rock cracks and the bed rocks as the skies fall and nights rise. Begin to end, no more to come, diamonds to dust ash to reside, the creek of the little foal flows steadily to a stop. Beginning or an end who very well knows the map knows but those who are not the six will hear nothing at all." Spike said in a mystical voice.
Pinkie was in complete surprise, she had never seen this before, she wondered what Fluttershy would say about it. Pinkie knew that Fluttershy knew a lot about critters. She went to Fluttershy's cottage and asked the shy pony what she thought of Spikes riddle. When Spike re-awoke, he saw Fluttershy staring at him concernedly.
"Are you okay, Spike?" Pinkie Pie inquired." you fainted, so I brought you to, Fluttershy's house. The whole gangs here, they saw me running with you on my back and became concerned." Spike nodded once Pinkie noticed he was okay, she quoted the riddle to AJ, Rainbowdash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Spike.
"Pony to Alicorn I see; is it you or is it me. Will we find out that which the rock cracks and the bed rocks as the skies fall and nights rise. Begin to end, no more to come, diamonds to dust ash to reside, the creek of the little foal flows steadily to a stop. Beginning or an end who very well knows the map knows but those who are not the six will hear nothing at all."
"I said that? I don't even remember that. The last thing I remember is you talking to me about how something weird was about to happen, and then it went black," Spike commented
"At least your okay Spiky wiky I was quite worried about your well being dear," Rarity replied in a caring tone,
"Nothing could hurt me I'm the toughest dragon in Equestria,"
"Oh, Spiky wiky don't ever change dear." Rarity chuckled lightly
"Dragons have been known to um... foretell prophecies and riddles about future events. The reason some dragons don't remember, what was said is because something um... takes control of their thoughts and imbues them with the power of prophecy, that's what um... Twilight ahh... told me..." Fluttershy declared.
"That's my mare for you," Rainbowdash accidentally blurted out then she realized she had thought out aloud, she went bright crimson from embarrassment. "We should write to Twilight to see what she has to say about it, her being an egghead and all." Rainbowdash declared.
"Do you just want to write to your marefriend aye Twidash," Applejack replied mockingly
"NO, I JUST THINK TWILIGHT SHOULD BE ENVOLVED IN THIS CONVERSATION!"
"I'm sorry Rainbowdash, I don't mean to offend you, even if you are in love, your still awesome I have had my fun for today, I won't taunt you anymore, Rainbow,"
"Thank you AJ, I appreciate it, your a good friend,"
"Your welcome, but we should really get Twi's opinion though, she knows a lot about magic, and this is definitely ancient magic,"
"I'll write it." Rainbowdash replied elated.
"Dear Twilight;
We would like your opinion on this strange occurrence Spike has said a riddle and then fainted. Fluttershy tells us you have told her that dragons can in rare times become imbued with the power of prophecy, Spike said in a different voice apparently in a mystic voice that's... what Pinkie said anyway, this is what Spike said.
"Pony to Alicorn I see; is it you or is it me. Will we find out that which the rock cracks and the bed rocks as the skies fall and nights rise. Begin to end, no more to come, diamonds to dust ash to reside, the creek of the little foal flows steadily to a stop. Beginning or an end who very well knows the map knows but those who are not the six will hear nothing at all."

After Rainbowdash had finished and rolled the scroll up, she handed it to Spike and with a plume of green flame the parchment teleported to Twilight.
Chapter II The love of politics and friends
Twilight was becoming more irritated with noble dignitaries and politicians, as soon as she would finish with one, another dignitary would have another tedious and pointless request. She was beginning to understand why Celestia was becoming bored with her job, and Twilight didn't do this all the time. Celestia only told her to come to Canterlot to understand the practical knowledge of the politics of Equestria. Twilight began to dislike politicians after the first day; she knew that all princesses were supposed to be versed in the politics of Equestria.Whether they hated it or not, Twilight knew where her true responsibilities lie being the protégé of Princess Celestia.
Twilight's brief break from politics with Celestia was pretty much over. They had some cucumber sandwiches with some tea to calm the stress of politics, but what Twilight wanted was to see her beloved Dashy and her best friends in the universe. Though she knew, she was needed here it was only for a week than she would return to Ponyville in the next week.
"My dearest, twilight what's wrong my faithful student?"Celestia inquired in a comforting tone,
"Nothing, Princess Celestia I'm fine," Twilight replied trying to hide her sadness
"I know you miss your friends, but we should probably get ready for the next session of court. By the way, this came in for you, but you will have to read it later, it's addressed to you it's probably from your friends."
Twilight saw the parchment addressed to her, she instantly recognized the font it was written in, it belonged to her love Dashy. Twilight was so very eager to read what was written by her love, but she had to put the ponies of Equestria first. And handle the burdens of a Princess, with politicians wanting every moment of her time with their selfish intent, some more selfish than others.

It was late afternoon when Twilight had been able to leave the court. Twilight walked out of the courtroom and waved at the dignitaries who were still lingering in the castle, graciously saying a polite "Hello," to them. Twilight remembered the letter she was sent by her beloved Dashy. She gently pulled the cyan string from the letter and opened the scroll and began to read.
"Dear Twilight;
We would like your opinion on this strange occurrence spike has said a riddle and then fainted. I quote,
"Pony to Alicorn I see; is it you or is it me. Will we find out that which the rock cracks and the bed rocks as the skies fall and nights rise. Begin to end, no more to come, diamonds to dust ash to reside, the creek of the little foal flows steadily to a stop. Beginning or an end who very well knows the map knows but those who are not the six will hear nothing at all."

Twilight was so happy to hear that something amazing happened while she was becoming bored with politicians and dignitaries. She especially felt all the better to find out that her Dashy had been missing her as well. The last part of the letter was her favorite part, "your beloved and devoted dashy." it made her feel like nothing in the world could stop there love from then on.
The part about the riddle confused her though. Twilight remembered reading about dragon prophecies and how they should be followed. As Twilight was thinking of what it meant, she made a note to do more research on the riddle. Twilight figured it had something to do with her and her friends; her friends being the six but for the rest of it, she could not figure it out for the life of her. She was still elated at the thought that Rainbow had thought of her, she stopped thinking and started writing a reply to her beloved marefriend.
"My Dearly Beloved Dashy;
I loved the letter you sent you made my night, I was having such a terribly boring day dealing with politicians and dignitaries alike. I hope to be back soon, and when I get back to Ponyville I have a surprise for you and you will love it, hehe. I will continually think of you as I hold the feather, you gave to me on that candle lit night we preened each other for the first time.
I love you my, Dashy you are my world.
Now to the rest of you girls and Spike;
I want you to follow Spikes prophecy, if a dragon told you to go, then you must go. A dragons prophecy is always important and what I think it means so far is that it's talking about us. And that's all I can make of it for now, ill do more research on it tomorrow when I have finished with the courts and politicians... I hope to hear from you again soon.

Then within a moment she tied the scroll up with a purple ribbon. Then grasped it with her magic, and cast the spell that Celestia taught her to send messages to spike, with a flash of magenta light the scroll vanished.
Twilight awoke the next morning not keen to begin another day in court, but Twilight knew she had to. She was walking to the royal dining hall for a bite to eat when she found herself running into one of the royal guards horn first. A rather tall and striking stallion with a blue mane, it was an old crush of hers before she realised that she preferred mares over stallions. It was Flash Sentry more a brother now than anything more.
"Hi there, sorry I bumped into you, hows things going," Twilight said to Flash,
"Great hey where's, Applejack?" Flash replied
"Unfortunately she's in ponyville why do you ask Flash?"
"No reason just curious."
"Do you have a crush on, AJ Flash?" Twilight gave a quizzing look
Flash sentry blushed "I believe... I heard the captain call me I... better go sorry, Twi but I gotta fly."
The only thing left in the wake of Flashes escape was a dust cloud; Twilight chuckled under her breath at flashes reaction.
Twilight heard Celestia call out to her from the royal dining hall trying to speed the young mare up to get breakfast. She would be at full strength for another tedious day of politics, Celestia was motherly over her faithful student like that. Twilight didn't mind having the princess of the sun mother her like that, she actually quite liked it.
Twilight got to the dinning hall quickly, then hastily devoured her food so she would not be late to begin the tedious day again. The first dignitary was prince blue blood who was trying to destroy the parks even after being told by Luna, Celestia and Twilight, he still didn't get the hint. This is what made politics completely boring the repetitive antic's of those ponies who wanted it there way.
"As we said to you before, we cannot take the parks away from the citizens of Equestria who use the parks!" Twilight stated with an authority in her voice that she was still not use to.
"but they lie on the prime ground for real estate," Prince Blueblood replied insistently
"we shall not speak of this again, Prince Blue Blood."
"but-"
"Now go and bother somepony else!" Twilight cut him off
prince blue blood left in a huff without another word.
"Well done my student," Celestia commented.
"Thankyou." Twilight said filled with pride.
After another several hours past Twilight was free to return to her room again and leave the courts once more. Twilight asked one of the guards if she had received any mail from her beloved and her best friends. But to her disappointment, there was nothing at all.
Chapter III The Quest Begins
After Rainbowdash had written the letter, her and her friends went back to their houses. Excluding Spike, who Fluttershy insisted that he stay there to be monitored, being the kind hearted mare that they all had come to love. The next day came, and Rainbowdash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Apple Jack all hastily went to Fluttershy's Cottage, to see if Spike had another prophecy. Or a reply from Twilight in regards to the previous prophecy.
As they got to Fluttershy's Cottage Spike belched a puff of flame and a letter from Twilight arrived. Rainbowdash became elated that twilight replied so soon, then she unrolled the scroll and read aloud.
"My Dearly Beloved Dashy;
I loved the letter you sent you made my night, I was having such a terribly boring day dealing with politicians and dignitaries alike. I hope to be back soon, and when I get back to Ponyville I have a surprise for you and you will love it, hehe. Rainbow blushed at the beautiful letter from her marefriend and couldn't wait to see what this mysterious surprise would be she felt overjoyed after reading the letter she knew from then on that they would be together forever.
"Ain't that sweet," Applejack commented
"I hear wedding bells in the near future," Rarity said becoming teary
"yes, yes I do believe so," Rainbowdash replied ecstatically.
Then out of the blue Spikes eyes began to glow brightly again then he said mystically
The bed starts to rock, and the rock starts to crack; the beginning of time starts once again; now you must find the map that's hidden in the place where harmony resides.
"Another riddle?" Rainbowdash said confounded
"so it would it seem dear," Rarity stated
"I have theory gals," Applejack commented
"What is it dear?"
"Yeah what is it?"
"what if the map is the friendship map that's in, Twilights Castle," Applejack explained
"It's worth a shot dear, let's go." Rarity concluded
The six of them left Fluttershy's cottage and went to Twilights Castle to see if they could find out if the map Spike spoke about was the table of friendship. But they had no clue how they would know where to look on the map. The six of them made it to the castle and went in to look for the place Spike spoke about when they reached the map room Spikes eyes began to glow once again
"The map you seek is not the place you have found, but the journey is only beginning now you must take a walk through time to find the place it all began." Spike said in a mystical tone
then suddenly the table of friendship began to sheen white, and a spot on the map began to strobe.
"That's the place where the tree of harmony is" Stated Rainbowdash.
"but why would the map lead us there?" Pinkie Pie inquired.
"I don't know, pinkie that's just where it is pointing us to go and Twilight told us to follow Spikes prophecies. So we should go to the tree of harmony, and see why the map led us there?" Applejack explained.
Apple Jack and her friends started to travel to the everfree forest to make the journey to the tree of harmony. They had been walking for about an hour now they were nearing the everfree forest, Rainbowdash was becoming tired of the endless walking that seemed to go on forever with not a thing to do. She started the journey full of vigour, vitality and eagerness for adventure. Rainbowdash was starting to become irritated with the lack of action on their quest oh how she wished twilight was here to keep her company the longing was driving her mad.
She had nearly gotten up and flew to Canterlot numerous times, but she never did because she knew that Twilight would be angry with her, and she could not cope with that. Rainbowdash found the waiting easier to cope with than Twilights wrath Rainbowdash sighed
"what's wrong Dash?" Spike inquired.
"Oh, nothing..." Rainbowdash sighed.
"You miss Twilight don't you Dash?"
"Yeah, I do it's just... just so hard to be this close to somepony yet so far away."
"I know what you mean Dash," Spike comforted.
Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy Pinkie Pie and Spike, finally made it to the everfree forest after several hours of tedious walking. What made it worse was how it started to rain about an hour before they arrived at the everfree forest and still was raining as they reached their objective.
"Finally we made it!" Rarity stated agitated at the weather
"C'mon it's just a bit of rain Rarity," replied Applejack
"But my mane A'J its RUINED!" Rarity whined
"It's just a bit of water,"
"well some of us like to be lady like, Apple Jack," Rarity Taunted
"what's that suppose to mean Rarity?"
"come on girls stop this bickering we are about to enter a dangerous area!" Fluttershy intervened
"Your right, Flutter Shy this is no time to be fighting amongst ourselves," concluded Applejack.
The girls and the dragon started walking in the direction towards the tree of harmony to find this so called map that will lead them to whatever the riddle meant that Spike had said to them. When they finally reached the tree of harmony they looked around for anything that could reveal the map to them but they had no luck virtually. They continued to search even though they had been unsuccessful when pinkie noticed a strange rock, it was shaped like a smiley face that she found fascinating.
"Hay, girls, look at the rock over there, it looks like a smiley face hehe," Pinkie Pie stated
"Yeah, it does doesn't it, hey Spike check this out," Rainbowdash commented.
as spike looked to it his entire body began to radiate an aura of white than he started to say in his mystical tone.
"The rock that smiles lies the map dimension to change vanish to reappear anywhere but here for the rock hails the six deaths touch no longer abide."
Within a moment, later a flash of blinding light appeared and Spike and the girls vanished from sight.

Rainbowdash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and Spike, were sprawled on the ground. Slightly dazed by the recent event they gradually got to their feet only to be surprised to find out that they were in their elements of harmony state.
"Why are we like this and where in the hay are we?" Applejack said dumbstruck.
I don't know? I have never seen this place," Rainbowdash answered "FINALLY SOME ADVENTURE!" Shouted Rainbow dash elated.
"Calm down Dash we have no idea what dangers lie here,"
"I agree," Rarity commented
"I also agree," stated spike
"Me too, wait what did I agree on?" Pinkie questioned
"This place is scary," Fluttershy said quivering.
"we best find somepony to tell us where in, Tartarus are we?" Announced Applejack
The six friends walked in a direction they agreed on and traveled that way they were walking through a forest of some sorts spookier then the Everfree forest with strange roars and shadows from deep in the forest and strange blinking eyes with the feeling of being constantly watched
They were on guard. Rainbowdash became overjoyed with the amount of risk of walking through a forest they had never been before she was excited for first time in hours.
They had been walking for hours and becoming fearful by the moment when the day shifted to night even Rainbow was becoming scared even though she'd never admit it when suddenly Rarity heard a solid thumping sound in the distance.
"Do you hear that?" Rarity inquired
"Hear what?" replied Applejack
"Thump!"
"That!"
"Thump!"
"I don't hear a thing," stated Rainbowdash
"THUMP!"
"That time I heard it," Applejack said with a look of fear.
The group of friends looked towards where the thumping was coming from to be stricken with fear as they saw the giant approaching. As they were frozen from fear.They heard the giant bellow a frightening roar and charged them.
Applejack, Rainbowdash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie and Spike Began to run but came to an abrupt end when they were blocked by thick foliage they knew then that they had to fight.
Chapter IV Twilight's surprise
Twilight was walking through Canterlot to get to the library to try and find some information about the riddle that Spike had said to the girls back at Ponyville. She was also waiting for a letter from her friends and her beloved, but she was continually let down, and she began to worry that something had happened to them.
She wished she could leave her duties for a day just to spend time with them and to make sure that they were okay and well. But Twilight knew from Celestia's teachings that the ponies came first, and friends came last which was exceedingly difficult for the Princess of Friendship. Twilight was over going to the court's day in and day out, she couldn't understand how Celestia managed without going insane from boredom.
She eventually made it to the Royal Library and began her research to find the answer to the riddle that Spike prophecied. Twilight felt good about doing some research for a change instead of going through mountains of paperwork from dignitaries requesting things that could be done or would not be done. She started to understand the reason Cadance avoided politics at great lengths before becoming the princess of the crystal empire.
Twilight was rummaging through book after book, very little was known about dragons and their ancestors. The first account's of dragon prophets were noted approximately twenty thousand years ago, they were older than the pony civilization itself, the history of dragons were fifty percent accurate and fifty percent myth.
The history books were often false but thought to be true by default. Dragons were ancient and often spiked the imagination of ponies.With questions about how they lived, how they courted one another, how they solved disputes between each other, and how they had significant links between all the ponies of Equestria. The amount of knowledge that was unknown is what fascinated Twilight the most.
Twilight found a book in the Library titled, Dragon Prophecies of the Past Twilight began to read;
How little we know about Dragons. Dragons thought to be myths until the dragons sought out the pony civilization, to help them in their dire time of need; the great Dragon giant war. Thought to be roughly fifteen thousand years ago, before the pony nation migrated here from an unknown origin of a province.
The great dragon war went on for two thousand years, many pony and dragon-kin were slaughtered by the Giants, Who collected the heads of dragons and ponies alike as, war trophies. Not many know how the war was solved, but an alliance was permanently forged with the dragons and ponies, of the newly named country Equestria from the old name ionia. There is an agreement to this day. The dragons help the ponies when in need but will not reveal many of the secrets of the old ways to their allies on how life was for them.
There have been accounts of prophesies being told to ponies of high destiny from the legendary Dragon prophets of old, they would tell the ponies of events about to happen to them that would be detrimental. Sometimes to princess to provide a peaceful alternative to war or disputes, before they broke out to destruction sometimes to comfort the loss or a missing loved ones.
On rare occasions they would also tell ponies of another evolution; to become alicorn's and show a form of royalty and immortality the most famous prophecy was given to a unicorn named Starswirl the bearded. The prophecy was written to him in a letter from a good friend that shared some secrets of the dragon origin with him. Starswirl neglected to tell anyone due to swearing fealty to the dragon emperor, Dragoir Blackflame.
"in lies the place of power that time bows to; as it swirls and turns the abyss of ancient magic's dragons secrets revealed. The power of an emperor that is the dragon of time; Zyliens scythe empowered gives the forbidden magic."
When translated it means the forbidden magic of time travel that Starswirl mastered. This is the only recorded account of the emperor foretelling an event. There was one other, famous prophecy recorded from an unknown dragon stating.
"Dragon's destiny unknown, forgotten dream to become, the alicorn Princess of the sun intertwined began seven friends to receive the beginning of an end the start of a new world immortality shines brightly as friends. The power of friendship is spun."

Twilight dropped the book as the prophecy clicked then she thought to herself. The prophecy, it was talking about me, Celestia and my friends, that many years ago; wow what a magnificent find I must tell my beloved and my friends.
Twilight began to write to her friends
Dear Friends;
I have found out through my research of the riddle that we were foretold about over two thousand years ago. To the point where it even predicted that Celestia transformed me into the Princess of Friendship. As for the current riddle, I think it has to do with you going back in time and being transformed to alicorns, but I am not entirely sure about that detail, but its worth a thought.
Now to my beloved Dashy;
Please, can you write to me I am super worried about you, I'm afraid that you might have been hurt following Spike's prophecy. I want you to come home to me my love I couldn't live without my moon, please be safe I love you Dashy.

Twilight
Twilight awoke next morning after sending her letter to her friends, ready for another boring day of politics she was finally used to the tediousness of politic's. Celestia would joke about certain dignitaries and politicians in an effort to keep herself, Twilight and Luna entertained during the days events.
As they were in the court room, Suddenly Twilights element of harmony state activated and frightened the politician she was conversing with. The politician ran out of the courtroom in fear
"Whats happening Twilight!?" Celestia said surprised at the phenomenon that occurred
"I don't know, Princess Celestia?" Twilight replied just as surprised as Celestia
"My friends, they must be in danger!" Twilight gave a panicked look
"I do not sense anything," stated Luna
"Everything seems to be in balance,"
"Then why did my element activate?"
"I do not know my faithful student? I have not seen this type of occurrence before in all my years of managing the elements of harmony."
"Nor I," Luna agreed.
Celestia flew across the room,
"Court has finished for today, an unexpected event has happened," Celestia told the herald.
"This requires further research" stated Luna with a puzzled look on her face
"I'll get right onto it Luna" Twilight commented
"We will all have to do some research on this strange phenomenon" Announced Celestia
Celestia, Twilight and Luna all went to the Royal Library to try to find out what this was all about after many hours past and the Library was a mess. They still had found nothing about why this happened the only theory Celestia came to was that Twilights friends activated their elements, and it thus activated Twilights.
Chapter V The Greatest Act of Love
They stood off at the Giant preparing to attack when the Giant came into range, Rainbowdash charged and punched the Giant in the guts Applejack kicked rocks at the highest velocity possible. Rarity fired beams of magic at the monstrosity; Fluttershy convinced the woodland animals to help them fight it was no longer a forest it was now a battleground.
Spike tried his hardest to conjure up the strongest and hottest flames he could; Pinkie Pie launched volley's of boulders at the Giant. They all fought valiantly, but it looked like it was the end of their journey and their lives. After they had thrown everything they had at the Giant they stopped and heard a booming laugh. "you ponies always make me laugh. The Dragons don't stand a chance if they rely on their pathetic allies to help ba hahaha!"
"We are just getting started giant boy!" Rainbowdash threatened.
"Oh, your head will be mounted on my wall, so I can look at your insulting face and remember how cocky you were!"
"Get him girls and Dragon!" Shouted Applejack.
"No, it is time for me to kill you I have had my fun, and you are annoying, goodbye ponies!"
The giant let out a vicious war cry and swung a large tree trunk like a club right for them Rainbowdash evaded quicker then lightening and countered with a swift kick to the Giants side. Applejack ducked, Fluttershy took flight and the trunk went harmlessly past her, Pinkie Pie jumped back as it came towards her.
Rarity was out of luck though she could not jump high enough or quick enough to avoid the fatal blow. She knew it was over when suddenly Spike jumped towards rarity and pushed her out of the way and instead received the blow to his side. He was sent flying several metres away from the force of the blow, straight into a tree, too weak to get up. Rarity realising what happened sprinted over to Spike, who was lying limp on the forest floor.
"Spike are you okay!" Rarity said extremely worried.
"Rarity before I pass I want you to know that I love you I could not get the courage up to tell you how I felt, I always have loved you. Now I can die with a clean conscious goodbye my-" Spike closed his eyes as he finished saying his last words.
"NO!" Rarity howled in despair.
"You will pay Giant ill make sure you do!" she said her voice dark with hatred and venom.
As she finished her statement, her eyes began to glow bright sky blue with such magnitude that her friends had to shy away, a second later her whole body began to glow. She began to hover from the amount of power that imbued her; she released the surge of power and fired a great beam of sky blue eviscerating half of the forest Giant included.
Rainbowdash opened her eyes after the flash of light had faded to see with amazement that Rarity took on the shape of an alicorn. Rarity began walking towards Spikes limp body eyes still glowing sky blue.
Rainbowdash watched in amazement as Rarity touched Spike with her horn, and a flash of sky blue appeared at the tip of her horn and radiated spike with a blue aura.
Spike gasped as the light vanished from around him as Rarity fainted from the exertion of power she released still in the form of an alicorn.

A patrolling Dragon Guard felt the use of magic a very powerful magic. The Dragon went to investigate the presence of the magic only to find a gaping hole in the center of the Fjord forest with the essence of magic still lingering around the hole. The Guard continued through the forest following the trail of destruction caused by the surge of magic he continued for another 5 hours until finally coming to the source of the surge. To see to his surprise two Pegasi, two Earth ponies and a baby dragon and an Alicorn.
"What are you doing in the Fjord Forest?" the Dragon asked with authority in his voice.
"I'm so glad to see another Pony... well dragon we have become lost in this forsaken forest." replied Rainbowdash.
"WHERES THE NEAREST TOWN? RARITY HAS PAST OUT, AND WE NEED A DOCTOR!" Fluttershy said extremely worried about her friend.
"Okay follow me we will get her some help but after we have I want answers I have not seen you before, this is wartime."
The dragon gently picked up rarity in his talons and flew at a pace that was fast enough to make a lot of ground but slow enough so the five could keep up with him. They eventually made it to Dragnir Village to Doctor Kyran's cottage where he proceeded to treat rarity with the utmost care for the alicorn patient for fear that she may be royalty.
Two days had past and rarity had woken up from her comatose state to find herself in a strange place she was in, but luckily Spike had been sitting there the whole time she was in the coma.
"Your awake I was worried," Spike said lovingly.
"Where am I?" Rarity replied curiously.
"you are in a doctors cottage your safe in Dragnir Village,"
"how did I get here?"
"A patrolling Dragon Guard happened to sense your massive output of Magic, then followed your trail of destruction and found you passed out and all of us looking worse for wear and took us out of the Fjord forest."
"Trail of destruction, what?"
"you don't remember do you; you saved us from the Giant,"
"I DID, HOW!?"
"you became an-"
"Alicorn you were imbued with power after Spike saved you from a fatal blow from the Giant," Applejack cut in.
"You became enraged at Spikes death," Rainbowdash added.
"you revived me after I had said I loved you," Spike commented.
"I remember your last words spiky wiky I feel the same way," Rarity looked lovingly at Spike
"You-you do?"
"Yes, Spike I do."
"I always have I just didn't know you did."
Spike got up and went to Rarity and placed a gentle kiss on her cheek. The doctor entered the room again he was a green dragon with emerald colored eyes and translucent pearl colored talons.
"Good your awake I was worried your majesty," he said with bow
"I'm not royal dear" Rarity replied humbly
"but your an alicorn, aren't all alicorns royalty?"
"in most cases but I'm not an alicorn I'm a unicorn"
"Look again Rarity you have wings" Rainbowdash stated
Rarity lifted her sheets off with her magic to reveal a set of wings.
"how did this happen?" Rarity gave a puzzled look
"when you saved all of us, you became an alicorn after you zapped the Giant," commented Pinkie Pie
"Your awake good now I need my answers, who are you six?" stated the Dragon Guard
"My name is, Rarity" Said Rarity
"My name is, Fluttershy" Said Fluttershy
"My name is, Rainbowdash" Said Rainbowdash
"My name is, Pinkie Pie" Said Pinkie Pie
"My name is, Spike" Said Spike
"My name is, Applejack" Said Applejack
"And we are the Current holders of the elements of harmony" Declared the group
"Elements of harmony?"
"Basically its the power of harmony that looks after Equestria" Rainbowdash answerd
"Equestria?"
"its another world from here,"
"so your telling me you travelled here from another world,"
"yes,"
"I guess it's believable after all Star Swirl can travel through time same way dragons can,"
"anyway, since you aren't enemies your welcome to stay but be careful there is a war going on. My name is Blaze Fury by the way." Blazefury concluded.
After the conversation concluded the six friends and Blaze Fury and the doctor had left the room they set off to the main capital of Ionia, to talk to the Dragon Emporer and find some much-needed answers to where they were and how Spike transported them to this strange place of Dragons and Giants. After a few hours of travelling they finally made it to the main capital.
The group entered the great castle that the Emporer resided in, and bowed before the king who was sitting on his throne going over the battle, plans, war reports, etcetera. He was a huge black dragon with red eyes wearing golden Dragon armour with extremely sharp silver talons.
"what can I help you with my allies is there a war report that you failed to give me?" Asked the Dragon
"No my Lord, we just have a few questions we would like to ask you,"answered Applejack
"What are these queries you wish to ask of me?"
"Firstly where are we?"
"You're in ionia and this is castle Talon and this place is Dragon Bane, why do you ask you should know this?"
"we aren't from here we came from Equestria."
"I have not heard of this place before please explain."
Applejack then explained everything with great detail.
"So this little dragon is a dragon prophet so young he has a great destiny to say such a prophecy. The only thing is that it's not possible for a dragon to teleport anything to an alternate dimension; the only thing I can fathom is that you have been teleported back in time. It is interesting to hear of this baby dragon being able to use such power and how you six managed to defeat a Giant, and how you transformed into an alicorn. I shall watch you with great attention."
Suddenly the castle door burst open with a blue dragon wearing silver armour. "The- Giants- are- attacking- from- the- north- side approaching- from fjord forest," The blue dragon said trying to catch his breath.
"Mobilise the armies we must defend our country,"
Ponies sorry to ask you this but we must request your help. Go to the Canterlot army and tell them to arm up and you better do so also, we are going to need everypony on the front line now go with hast!"
The six of them made it to the Canterlot army camp and spread the alert. As they finished ponies everywhere were donning their armour even the six friends from the future when suddenly Spike belched, a flame and a letter from Twilight came to them. Spike opened the letter and read aloud to them.
"Dear Friends;
I have found out through my research of the riddle that we were foretold about over two thousand years ago. To the point where it even predicted that Celestia transformed me into the Princess of Friendship. As for the current riddle, I think it has to do with you going back in time and being transformed to alicorns, but I am not entirely sure about that detail, but its worth a thought.
Now to my beloved Dashy;
Please, can you write to me I am super worried about you, I'm afraid that you might have been hurt following Spike's prophecy. I want you to come home to me my love I couldn't live without my moon, please be safe I love you Dashy.

Twilight"
Spike replied to the letter.
Dear Twilight;
We are safe and well we went back one thousand five hundred years in the past and rarity has become an Alicorn in the midst of the great Dragon Giant war.
We have hailed to the front line, by the request of the Dragon Emporer but don't worry we will return I promise you we won't die here.

After Spike had sent the letter they set off with the first wave of troops to the north side of the forest. The first wave made it to the front line and viewed the massive conflict between the Giants and Dragons, they realised they were the reinforcements and the commander shouted "CONTACT!" and the group charged into the fierce fray and there was a vicious clash of metal against metal.
