Whatever happend to twilight?
It was a nice peaceful day in ponyville, about as normal and pleasant as things can get in this town. Twilight was in the castle Looking over her new book collection to add from saddlearabia, the titles were interesting enough"history of the empire""the legend of black saddle"
But one specifically caught her eye. "Blankout" that was it, just one word, nothing else. It's cover was all black except for the words, which were white. The book itself appeared to be thin, only the size of a journal. How this mysterious book got to her in the first place she doesn't know, for it was not there when she originally bought them. She tried to forget about it and get back to reading "Mystery of the golden sands". But she couldn't let go. "After all" she said to herself, "it's just a book, it might be and interesting read." It wasn't a spellbook, because it was sold at a story book shop. She dicidedto readcthis mystery book, to see what it contained. "Back a long time ago, when saddlearabia was a prospering city as large as olden canterlot. There was a small city off to the east. A small city, more like a village, with the leader being an oldman that foundered the village, everypony who came always got the same warning:don't touch the white shard. The white shard was a crystal in the center of the town. One night, however, somepony stole the white shard, the results were a disaster. Everyone was sitting down, staring with dilated pupils, one moving as the town fell to shambles, and everypony kept saying the same thing"DUNK DUNK DUNK "dang" twilight said as she went to answer the door"I almost finished the book" when she opened the door, she was greeted by the sight of her friends, "hey twilight, wanna come to out picnic?" pinkie said, "Sure!" twilight responded, "just let me finish this book." "okeydokeyloki" pinkie said, "we'll go set it up and you can meet us when your done!" "okay pinkie" twilight said as she closed the door, hearing rainbow make an egghead pun. She finally got back to the book, "and everypony kept saying the same thing,Blankout"suddenly the book started vibrating before jumping away from the desk and bathing twilight in a bright, white light.
