Greetings. I am Twilight Sparkle, writing about my studies on the Japanese plant, 'Kansen puranto.'
This plant is said to be poisonous if eaten. It causes odd changes in the body that have never been reported before. I am here to report it.

Alright. So, there was a bite
I'm sorry, bit of an issue. I was incorrect, saying that the common pony could get sick from eating it, as the plant actually bit me. I've only ever seen this happen with a few lowerlt

Lesser plants. I'm a bit under stress and pain. I've been resting from the bite, but I'm thinking about it so much, I'm misspelling things. I should be fine in a few days.

I've noticed a few things. Where I was bitten, on my left leg, the wound has scabbed over. Not with blood, though. After taking a closer look, I've noticed that my wound was closed with /leaves./
Leafs.

This is certainly odd. I really want to cut out the leafs but they seem hard and impenetrable. I'm going to leave them be for now.

Ok. This is very, very weird.
I awoke this morning to find that vines had sprouted from the wound. Vines! How this is even possible is bwyonf
Beyond me! Also, I'm starting to forget some things. Like, I forgot that this journal was a journal that /I/ wrote. I spent two hours yesterday trying to figure out who wrote it!! I'm going to the Ponyville hospital if this gets worse. I'm sure it's nothing, but I can't be sure. I might just be a hypochondriac and I never new.

This is getting out of hand. The vines have spread and now, I can barely move my leg! I should explain why. Sorry.
The vines have wrapped around my whole left leg from my hoof to my shoulder. My leg is numb and I can barely move it. I can't believe it, but this seemed to spread overnight. Or... Maybe it did it a few days ago? That's just the thing, I don't know! Ever since the bite, I've been loosing track of time!
I just now looked at the clock. It's 3:34 A.M! I swear to Celestia it was 8:49 in the afternoon two minutes ago!!
I'm starting to freak out. I'm going to go to bed. Tomorrow, I'm going to the hospital.

I am completely freaking out! I went to the hospital and they couldn't do a thing!! Then I suddenly got so mad, I hit the doctor in the face with my hoof!! I'm not a violent pony!!! I apologized so much, but he just told me to go away!!!! I ran home and then, hah, guess what? I forgot how to open my door.

I am Daisy Spring, eviromental researcher. I have inherited this journal from a victims of the Japanese Infection Plant. This journal was owned by a unicorn, Twilight Sparkle.
As I have read this book, I have realized the insanity a pony goes through under infection of this plant. Twilight's entries are short and few. I had heard about this pony before. She was apparently the Element of Magic. Her friends mentioned that she disappeared and everypony was afraid to go into her house on account of odd noises. The home that she lived in is... Golden Oaks Library. Something like that. The perfect home for a plant of death.
Anyway... The infection...
The infection happened in a matter of two or three months. I am staying in her home she once lived in. The room she supposedly locked herself in reeks of death and plant life. Flowers poke out from under the door. The Doorknob is tied shut with vines. I can hear sounds from inside that sound like scratching and groaning. I'm going to investigate.
December 13th
I've gotten into the room. There are flowers all over and in the center the room is a horrifying sight.
A pony carcass, months old, infested with tiny Infection Plants and vines. It's a nest. A breeding ground for those awful plants. It reeks in here. I feel as if I'm going to vomit. The vines move and it's very weird. After this entry
