Chapter 1- Failure
Same As It Never Was

Ponyville was a quiet little town built just over one hundred years ago on the edge of the Everfree Forest, just south of Canterlot. Winding hills had lead up to the town. This town was a bright and happy town, where most everypony who lived there was quite fine with singing and playing most every day. It was a town for jokes, and laughs amongst friends. Despite there being many disturbances, and setbacks, no pony really cared all too much. In this town, there was a young unicorn by the name of Twilight Sparkle.
Twilight Sparkle was a curious young mare. It was often that she would get into trouble, through mostly no fault of her own. But she is a smart mare and can figure problems out easily. She had moved to a little town called Ponyville about ten months ago. She was instructed by her mentor Princess Celestia to write letters on friendship and report back if she wanted to stay in Ponyville with her friends after she had found the elements of harmony and defeated Nightmare Moon. She had faced many demons in her time, real, and mental. However, she would not be prepared for what was to come next.
“Spike!” Twilight Sparkle called out for her baby dragon assistant while in her library. When no answer came back she called again, “Spike!”
The second call got the baby dragon’s attention. He pulled his head up from his comic book and went down stairs to the lavender unicorn, “Yes Twilight?” He asked.
“Spike, have you seen the book that the princess loaned me?” She began, “I need it.”
“Yeah.” Spike nodded, “I think it’s upstairs.”
“Thank you.” Twilight said as she trotted up the stairs.
“Why do you need it?” Spike asked her, also walking up the stairs.
“Because the princess needs it back by tonight and I don’t want it to leave my sight.” Twilight answered looking around the room.
“Are you sure, because I don’t think she cares when you give it back.” Spike shrugged it off.
“Yes, but I’m still going to give it back to her today.”
“Or, you could go and hang out with your friends?” The dragon suggested.
“Yes, but my friends will always be with me.” She assured him.
“You never know, maybe one day they won’t be with you anymore, and all you’ll have is the memories from when they were with you.” The dragon retaliated with a sad look.
“But that won’t be for a long time.”
“Or maybe it’s right around the corner, I wish you would see what I mean, but knowing you, you’re not going to take me seriously.” Spike accepted defeat.
But Spikes words fell on deaf ears, as Twilight had ignored what he just said and continued searching.
“I knew it.” The dragon said as he walked away.
“Oh! There it is.” She saw the book. It had been laying on a nearby shelf. “Now then.” She said as she picked it up with her magic, “I will be able to-” Her sentence was cut short by a piece of paper falling out of the book.
It fell onto the floor, slowly. Twilight set the book down on her bed as she looked at the paper. She picked it up and noticed words on it.
She began reading aloud, “If you face the facts, and finally won, then the spell can be undone.” Twilight just stared blankly at it, until she felt a jolt in her gut. “URGH!” She dropped the piece of paper and stepped back.
“Twilight?” Spike called from downstairs, “Are you alright?”
“Urgh!” Twilight grunted in pain, holding her stomach with a hoof, “I’m fine Spike!” She called down to him.
“You don’t sound fine.” He said, walking up the stairs.
Twilight headed towards the stairs, stumbling a bit, “Ugh! Spike. I think I need to get a doctor.” She got to the first step and then fell down the stairs, only to be caught by Spike.
“Uh. Twilight. You’re glowing.” He said in shock.
“Spike I-” Twilight started, but couldn’t finish the sentence as she felt like she was going to explode. The white glow started to become more and more bright. It finally was too much and Twilight let out a blood chilling scream.
Twilight began to dissolve, she felt herself being torn apart. The glow was too much now and Spike had to cover his eyes as his friend disappeared.
When the light ceased, Spike looked back, and Twilight was gone. All that was left was a burn mark on the stairs, and a few ashes.
“TWILIGHT!” Spike yelled.
Twilight opened her eyes, “What hit me?” She asked. She was still on the stairs. She got up, though not without feeling much pain, then realised her assistant was not beside her anymore, “Spike!” She called out. No answer.
She walked down the stairs, while limping, and then saw a horrible sight. Her library was a wreck. Bookshelves were knocked down windows were shattered and much of the roof had caved in.
‘Oh no.’ Twilight thought. “SPIKE! SPIKE!” She started yelling louder for her dragon assistant. No answer came. Twilight ran outside her tree house and saw everything dark. Buildings were torn down, and some were still standing. Twilight looked up to find a billboard of Nightmare Moon. “W-What? How? We defeated her!” Twilight said to herself.
Twilight then looked at the rest of the town, which looked deserted, buildings were falling apart, trees and flowers were dying from lack of sunlight.
“Hello?! Is anypony out here?” Twilight called out, hoping to hear another voice, sadly, no reply came.
Twilight then walked away from the library and started to make her way to Sugarcube Corner, but when she got there, it looked no better than the other buildings.
“Oh no, Pinkie, please be ok!” Twilight said as she walked into Sugarcube Corner.
As Twilight looked around, she could see that this place had not seen anypony in a long time, dust and spider webs covered the tables, old cupcakes were still in the display case, and rotten food was all that was in the kitchen, it was obvious that Pinkie wasn’t here.
“Darn, she’s not here, where did she get to?” Twilight said to herself.
Twilight then walked out of the building, but she was having a difficult time seeing in the dark, so she lit her horn up and started to look for Pinkie, but then she heard a pony yell, “STOP!”
“Huh?” Twilight turned to see who it was. She saw the silhouette of several stallions running toward her. Twilight backed up into a wall where they all cornered her.
They had stepped into the light of her horn and Twilight saw that they were all carrying battle gear. And that they were all unicorns. They pointed their horns at her. They all slowly walked toward her.
“Stop!” A voice called out. Twilight had heard that voice before, she just couldn’t put her hoof on it. The unicorns made a small hole in their formation to make room for somepony. The certain pony stepped into Twilights light. She was a white unicorn wearing black armor, though it didn’t cover her head, her purple mane had been cut, she had an eyepatch, leaving only one of her blue eyes, and only half of her horn was on her forehead. Also on her forehead was a white bandanna. Her eye widened, “Twilight?”
“Rarity?” They were both stunned, looking at one another.
“I haven’t seen you in ages.” Rarity said.
“You look like you’ve gone through tartarus.” Twilight wondered.
“Well you must have.” The white unicorn mare started, “I thought I had you killed.”
Twilight was taken aback by this, “Wait... What?”
“Oh well. Better luck this time. Boys, kill her.” Rarity instructed.
The stallions pointed their horns at Twilight. The horns started to glow. Twilight closed her eyes, thinking this might be the end.
Rarity started walking away and then she got hit by a chair. She flew backwards and nearly hit Twilight, who rolled out of the way. Rarity smashed into the wall behind Twilight, and was knocked out cold.
Twilight's eyes widened as she took a moment to realize what had just happened. A pony jumped to the ground, this time an earth pony, mare, only had three legs, missing the front left one. She bucked one of the stallions in the face. The other stallions tried to shoot her with blasts from their horns. She ran for cover, and was able to duck behind the remains of a building.
The stallions ran towards her, still shooting. When they got close, she jumped in the air and landed of one of the stallions, making him fall to the ground.
The four others turned to her and she jumped onto her one front leg, spread her back legs apart and turned, kicking two of them square in the face. She jumped onto her back legs and picked up a piece of brick from the building and then hit one of them with it. Bashing his skull in. She then threw it at the other stallions head, the brick got lodged in his head.
“Rgh!” The stallion that she had landed on earlier got up, growling. She hit him and then from inside the building pulled out a cannon. She grabbed his horn and pulled him into the cannon. “HEY!” He yelled, “LET ME OUT! He struggled and then the mare pushed a button at the end of the cannon and it exploded. His body went flying out, and the rest of him too. His bloody parts landed on the ground, in several different pieces.
“Pinkie Pie?” Twilight said.
Pinkie stepped into Twilights light, staring in disbelief. “TWILIGHT!” She bounced up and down, and then hugged her with the one hoof. “I thought you were dead.” She started tearing up.
“I... Am.” Twilight looked back at the unconscious Rarity.
“Yes, Rarity had you executed when you refused to follow Nightmare Moon’s orders.” Pinkie let go of the hug, “But, you're alive now!”
“But… We defeated Nightmare Moon.”
“Silly Twilight, we didn’t defeat Nightmare Moon.” Pinkie giggled. “We only thought we defeated her.”
“No!” Twilight stepped back a bit. “No, we defeated her! She turned back into Princess Luna!”
“Twilight, what happened to you?” Pinkie asked, “Why don’t you remember?”
“Last I remember, I was in my library, then I read something, and got blasted here.” Twilight looked around. “Tell me everything.”
“Well, come with me.” Pinkie motioned with her head for her to follow.
They walked along the destroyed city until they came to the Everfree Forest.
“What are we doing here?” Twilight asked.
“That.” Pinkie motioned her head towards a part near Fluttershy’s old house, now sitting destroyed. In front was a wooden cross. In front of the cross was a flag, the flag was torn a bit, but it could still be made out as a sun.
“Oh no.” Twilight started to cry as she trotted up to the grave.
“This was where Celestia made her final confrontation with Nightmare Moon.” Pinkie explained, “It was also only hours before you died, and Fluttershy was converted.”
“T-This can’t be happening!” Twilight stuttered.
“It’s not happening, it’s already happened.”
“But we defeated Nightmare Moon!” The unicorn yelled.
“No, the elements didn’t work, she came back six months after we thought she was gone, we tried to defeat her again, but Rarity changed sides, and we lost the battle.” Pinkie said.
“But, Rarity was our friend.” Twilight questioned.
“She was, but Nightmare Moon somehow got her to join.”
Twilight could only sit in disbelief, Rarity, one of her best friend, had left them.
“I know it’s hard to believe, but that’s what happened.” Pinkie put a hoof over Twilights back.
“She betrayed us, why?” Twilight tensed up.
“She didn’t care about us, we hardly spent anytime with her, before Nightmare Moon came back, we were too busy to spend any time with her, and after Nightmare Moon came back, we were more worried about losing the battle then we were about our friendship with her.”
“What about the others?” Twilight asked, “You said Fluttershy was... Converted?”
“Well duh! You see, what happened was-” Pinkie started.
“No!” Twilight Sparkle shouted out. She ran to Celestia’s fallen, bloodied body, “Princess.” She said lifting Celestias head up.
“Twilight.” Celestia said. “I...” She passed on then, falling limp.
Twilight started to cry. But was then greeted with a sword to her neck.
It was Rarity who was holding the sword. She looked down at Twilight with both hatred and pity.
“Rarity, why?” Twilight asked while tears flowed from her face.
Rarity then pulled the sword back, and kicked Twilights head so hard it knocked her unconscious.
Twilight woke up in a cell. From what it looked like, it hadn’t been used in a while. She got up from the floor and looked out the bars.
There was a door at the end of a long hallway, in the long hallway way a lantern, which was lighting the hallway, and the cell.
“Oh, good. You're awake.” A voice from behind Twilight had said.
She turned around to find that the voice had been Applejack. She and the rest of her friends were locked up with her.
“We were worried that you weren’t going to wake up.” Informed Pinkie.
“We need to get out of here.” Twilight said as she tried to use her magic, but she found herself that she couldn’t. What’s wrong with me?” She asked.
“You have a special collar on that prevents you from using magic.” Applejack answered.
“Great, now how are we going to get out of here?”
“I-I don’t think there is a way out of here.” The orange earth pony said.
“Don’t say that, there’s always a way out.”
“Not this time Twi, not this time.”
“No! There must be a way!”
“Twi, calm down, we lost, there’s no way for us to get out of here.”
Just then, the door at the end of the hallway opened, and Rarity, with a now cut mane that only went down to where her head and neck met, stepped into the hallway.
“You are coming with me, Twilight.” Rarity said as walked up and used her magic to unlock the cell.
She dragged Twilight out, and made sure that none of the others jumped on her.
Twilight struggled, almost breaking free, so Rarity then put a sword up to Twilight’s neck, and held the back of her head up to it. If Twilight moved, she would have her neck sliced open.
Rarity then took Twilight to a throne room. This throne room was the one from the castle in Canterlot. However, unlike what it used to look like, this room was filled with technology, and guards in all black.
Nightmare Moon was also in the room, sitting on the throne.
“Well, well, well, look who we have here.” Nightmare Moon said.
“What do you want with me?” Twilight asked.
“I want you… To join me, and become my own student of the night.” Nightmare Moon revealed.
“What?!”
“You heard me, join my side... Or die.” The moon queen explained.
“No, I will never join your side!” Twilight yelled.
“Alright, Rarity, kill her.” Nightmare commanded.
“Rarity would never kill me-” Twilight words were cut off as she felt a sword go through her side.
“Sorry Twilight, I truly am.” Rarity said, taking the sword out.
“W-What?”
“Your friendship is useless to me, and now my dear, it’s time to die.” Rarity said as she grabbed Twilight and dragged her to a metal chair, she was quickly sat down, and strapped to it, her limbs were held down by metal cuffs on the arms and legs of the chair, that looked like they were connected to something, but she couldn’t see what. Rarity walked over to the side of the chair and pushed a button. Twilights hind legs started to stretch, going downward into a hole in the floor that was big enough to fit her leg in. Twilight struggled, but couldn’t get out.
“Rarity... Please. Don’t do this.” She pleaded, as her legs started to tear off, causing blood to fall onto the floor. The flesh of her leg split from the rest of her body as she screamed in pain, leaving only the bone to be snapped, and the bone did. Twilight’s leg was completely off now.
“Sorry, Twilight, I hope you understand.” Rarity said as she made the device go slower, making Twilight feel her front legs as they started to pull away from her, she felt her leg start to tear off of her body, she felt her muscles stretch to their limit, she felt her tendons as they started to rip, and finally, after what felt like an eternity, her skin gave way, and split apart, blood started to pour from the opening, her muscles were soon to follow, then her tendons, and finally, the bones, but Twilight didn’t feel the bones break apart, she had passed out from blood loss.
Twilight fell off the chair and into a pool of her own blood. She was dying of blood loss. Which was too slow for Nightmare Moon, so she nodded to Rarity who knew what to do.
Rarity walked over with her sword and took Twilight by the mane. Rarity’s sword came down of Twilight’s neck, slicing the head off.
Rarity then trotted over to Twilights corpse and dragged her off into a body disposal chute.
After doing so, Nightmare Moon said, “Bring the yellow pegasus.”
And that Rarity did, and she left the throne room and after a few minutes brought back Fluttershy. Nightmare Moon walked up to the yellow pegasus.
“Hello.” Nightmare spoke, “You are going to be taking part in an experiment.”
“Um.” Fluttershy squeaked, “Ok.”
Nightmare Moon stepped over to a tall, metal, rectangular box. It had a button on the front of it. Rarity pushed the button, and the box opened.
Inside the box was a chair with straps on the arms, legs, wings, and a head strap.
“Um….. What does this thing do?” Fluttershy asked.
“You’ll see, just sit in the chair.” Rarity replied.
Fluttershy did what she was told to do, and sat in the chair, Rarity then strapped her hooves and head down.
“W-What’s going to happen now?” Fluttershy said.
“You’ll see.” Rarity repeated herself.
Rarity backed out of the machine and pushed the button, the doors closed. For a moment, Fluttershy couldn’t see anything, and then the lights flashed on. Fluttershy had to close her eyes for a moment, it was too bright. Her eyes adjusted to the brightness, she blinked a bit, and was fine.
Suddenly, something came down to her eye level. It was a metal claw. It didn’t move for a whole minute, when it started moving it opened up, it had three points to it, all were bent at the top, they also had razor blades sticking out, pointing at Fluttershy’s eye. But something else was pointing at her eye, a needle, just slightly shorter than the claws. Fluttershy was starting to panic, she tried moving her head away but she couldn’t.
The claw was moving closer and closer, slowly, as Fluttershy continued to struggle. She closed her eyes, not wanting to know what pain awaited her. She suddenly felt a jolt of pain at the tip of her eyelids, the razor blades were cutting into her eyes, she screamed and started to tear up in pain. Not long after, she felt the needle go through the middle of her eye.
Fluttershy screamed as the needle went deeper into her eye, and then, the claw clamped down and started to pull out, dragging her eye with it, soon, both the needle and Fluttershy’s eye were out of her body, but the needle didn’t stop moving, until the optic nerve snapped in two.
Fluttershy started to cry, she had never been in that much pain before, she wished that this was all a dream, and that she would wake up soon, but this was all real, and then she saw it, through her tears, another claw, with another needle, she knew what would happen next.
The needle started to move to her other eye, she closed her eye, she didn’t want to see the needle, and it wasn’t long before the needle made it’s way into her eye, it repeated the same painful process as the last time, and when it pulled Fluttershy's eye out, all she could see was darkness.
Then, a sharp pain entered the inside of her sockets. It continued for a good minute and a half as she screamed. Then, she saw a white dot in the middle of the blackness. The white dot then stretched, going from not only the middle of her vision, but to the top and bottom as well. The white line then stretched out to the rest of her vision, and she was able to see again. But she was mostly only able to see in green, as they started to focus. She stared at the wall that she was staring at before her eyes were torn out. But it seemed much closer now. But her eyes started to move back into place as a claw dragged the new eyes into her sockets. She felt a sharp pain as the eyes attached themselves to her head, but after what she had just been through, it was nothing to cry about.
And then, she heard a buzzing sound, Fluttershy wanted to know what was making the sound but she could move her head, and then, she felt it, a buzz saw was going through one of her wings, she tried to scream in pain, but her throat was worn out from all the screaming she did before, Fluttershy she was sure that the saw would cut through her wing, but it stopped just before it hit the bone, another claw then came down, grabbed the open wound, and started to peel the muscle and skin from her wing, all Fluttershy could do was sit there, in deep pain, until the skin and muscle had been removed from her wing, the device then did the same thing to the other wing, leaving only the bones of Fluttershy’s wings alone, held by a few strands of muscle.
And then the device started to put something in her wings, Fluttershy couldn’t see what they were, nor did she really care, she just wanted the pain to stop, however, she assumed that they were wings. But, like with her new eyes, these had to attach to her. However, unlike her eyes, there was more. She then felt a liquid pumped into her new metal wings. The liquid soon hardened, and she was able to feel them again.
The rest of the procedure had gone about the same as her wings did, they tore apart her flesh and put new metal armor in it’s place, along with the liquid.
And then came the headpiece. It was a helmet made of metal, with some sort of wires inside it. The helmet was also in the shape of her head, and had eye holes. It slowly lowered onto Fluttershy, who didn’t know what would be coming next. Her ears shot with a jolt of pain as the wires went through them. This hurt Fluttershy the most out of everything she had gone through that night. She tried to scream, but was unable to as the mouth part wouldn’t let her. The wires then reached into her brain. They then stabbed through the organ and her whole head surged with electricity. She shook as it corrupted her. Then, the headpiece was attached to her metal neck. It fused together, and Fluttershy became corrupted.
The door to the device slowly opened, revealing the robot that was once Fluttershy.
“My, my, dear. You look absolutely stunning in that new body.” Rarity said as she walked in to the device to undo the straps that held the robot Fluttershy to the chair.
When the straps were undone, the robot Fluttershy stood up, and walked out of the device, then sat down, waiting for her orders..
“Fluttershy, stand up.” Rarity ordered, to see if the robot Fluttershy would follow her commands.
The robot Fluttershy stood up, and waited for her next order.
“Fluttershy, go into the dungeon and stand guard.” Rarity ordered.
The robot Fluttershy walked to the dungeon, and stood in front of the cells that held her former friends.
The three friends could only stare at the robot, this was hell, first Celestia died, then Rarity betrayed them, then Rarity took Twilight away, and now Fluttershy had become a robot.
The robot just stared at them, with lifeless eyes. Pinkie gulped and walked up to the bars, putting on a fake smile, “Hey, Fluttershy, buddy! How has being a robot been for you?” Pinkie waited for a reply, but was met with only silence. “Uuh, well. I bet it’s cool! Hey, y’know what’s even cooler? Busting us outta here, what do ya say?”
The robot, once again, only stared.
“Hmm. Well, what are we going to be looking forward to? Will I be getting a cool robot suite?” Pinkie asked, feeling rather threatened by the silence.
Then, Fluttershy started to move closer towards them, her metal hooves clanking against the stone floor. She then reached out and grabbed Pinkie by the throat, and pulled her head closer, she spoke in a low voice, that did not sound anything like who she used to be, “All earth ponies will be killed. All unicorns will follow orders, if not, they will be killed. And all pegasi will be converted.” She let go of Pinkie, who just stepped back and fell onto the fell floor.
“D-Did she say all earth ponies will be killed?!” Applejack asked, hoping she misheard something.
“Yeah, she did.” Rainbow replied.
“Oh no.” Applejack shrunk.
“How do you think I feel, I’m going to become a robot!!!” Rainbow shouted in fear.
“I… I guess this is it, you’re going to become a mindless robot, and me and Pinkie are going to be killed.” Applejack said, in shock.
“Yeah… And I never got to be a Wonderbolt.”
“And I’m going to die without mah family by my side.”
“Hey, we don’t know if we’re going to die, something might happen.” Pinky said ,tiring to brighten the mood.
“Even if we get out of here, we can’t stop this without the elements, and the elements can only be used if we have Fluttershy, Twilight, and Rarity.”
The door down the hallway opened up, and Rarity walked in. “Bring the pink one.” She ordered.
Fluttershy’s hoof lifted up, and a key came out of a slot in her metallic armor. She unlocked the cage, and grabbed onto Pinkie, making sure none of the others followed. She then locked the cage back up and dragged Pinkie out, who was trying to get away, by biting the robot. Needless to say, it didn’t work.
Pinkie was dragged into the throne room and thrown down hard onto the floor.
Rarity walked up to her, smiling. “Pinkie. We haven’t gotten a chance to talk in so long.” She brushed Pinkie mane with her hoof.
“Why Rarity?” Pinkie asked, starting to get teary eyed, “You were our friend.”
“Well.” Rarity began, but paused. And looked over to Nightmare Moon, and then back, “She just offered me so much more. Now then, Fluttershy, could you be a dear and strap Pinkie into the chair?”
The robot Fluttershy grabbed Pinkie and dragged her over to the execution chair that killed Twilight. Pinkie was sat down, and her left forehoof was cuffed, however, only her left forehoof was able to be cuffed, as she was able to jump off the seat of the chair, and kick the robot Fluttershy away. She struggled to get her hoof out of the metal cuff. While trying to get her hoof out, she tripped and her left hoof slid up and smashed into a button on the side of the chair. The cuff started to move
“Oh no!” Pinkie said as she continued to try and free her hoof, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t free it, and she could feel the device tug at her leg, trying to remove it from her body, and soon, Pinkie felt something tear in her leg, one of her tendons snapped, and the rest were soon to follow, along with her muscle and skin, throughout this process, Pinkie was screaming, begging at the device to stop, but it didn’t stop, it kept tugging at her leg, until Pinkie heard a sickening snap, she looked at her leg, or where her leg once was, all that was there now, was torn skin and muscle, and a snapped bone, Pinkie could only let out a scream.
“Oh! Fantastic job, Pinkie! You broke the chair! Now how are we supposed to tear all your limbs off? Well, I could just have Fluttershy do it.” Rarity suggested.
She looked at the sobbing pink earth pony. Rarity was getting ready to give Fluttershy orders to kill Pinkie. But then felt saddened.
“But why break a tradition? I’ll just take her.” Rarity said, picking her up. Rarity was about to walk off, but Fluttershy stepped in front of her. “You, go get Rainbow Dash.” She ordered. Fluttershy walked off, towards the dungeon, with Rarity, who had covered up Pinkie wound to stop blood from flowing out.
Once they were almost to the dungeon, Rarity turned a corner that lead to the infirmary.
“I’ll be right with you, I just need to do something.” She told the robot. The robot continued to walk, and Rarity opened the door to the infirmary and laid Pinkie down on the medical table. Rarity wrapped Pinkies wound in a cast, stopping the blood flow. She then noticed that Pinkie had passed out from blood loss, probably on the way here. Rarity then pulled Pinkies hair back and then hugged her. “I’m sorry.” Rarity whimpered. Then she left, leaving Pinkie.
As Rarity walked out of the room, she saw the robot Fluttershy dragging a struggling Dash down the hall.
“Let me go, I don’t want to be a robot!” Dash yelled, hoping to be freed.
The robot Fluttershy ignored Dash’s pleas, and dragged her into the device, strapped her into the chair, then walked out and shut the door.
“H-Hey, l-let me out of here, please, I like being a regular pony!” Dash pleaded.
Rarity looked at the device, she knew what she had to do, but that didn’t mean she liked it, she looked down at the button to the device, and pressed it.
“W-What’s going on… What does that claw do, -and why does it have a needle… Oh Celestia no! No! NO!!!” Dash yelled from the device, and soon after, screams were heard.
Rarity covered her ears, trying to drown out Dash’s screams, but it didn’t help, the longer this went on, the more Rarity regretted what she was doing to her friend, finally, she had enough, and sabotaged the device, and used her magic to destroy the controls, and freeing Dash from the chair inside, the next thing she knew, the door to the device flung open, and a cyborg walked out. This was what Rainbow Dash had become, she caught a glimpse of herself in a reflective surface, and screamed. She now had metal wings, and robotic eyes.
“W-What’s happened to me?!” Dash yelled.
“You were in the process of becoming a robot, when the controls broke.” Rarity replied, she then thought for a moment, “Speaking of which, how did the controls break!?” She shouted.
“Well, what a shame that your controls broke.” Rainbow Dash growled as she walked up to the white unicorn, “Weren’t you the one managing it?” Rainbow Dash took her new metal wing, which was larger than her normal ones were, and swung it around Rarity’s neck, choking her. She lifted Rarity off the ground.
The other unicorn guards tried to shoot magic bolts at Rainbow Dash, who just took out her other wing and blocked them. Rainbow looked around the room with her robotic eyes, she scanned the whole room and then turned back.
“Where is Pinkie Pie?!” She demanded.
“I’m.... Not... Going... To tell...” Rarity struggled to speak.
Rainbow scanned Rarity and then threw her at the wall. Dash couldn’t tell if she killed her or just knocked her out cold. But she didn’t care, she followed the trail that Rarity left with another trace that was probably Pinkies. She then realised that the unicorn guards were still shooting magical attacks at her. So she took her wing that wasn’t guarding herself and flicked it at the guards. Metal spikes flew out at the guards and shot straight through them, killing them all.
Dash kept walking to where Pinkie was, killing any guards that got in her way, after a bit, she made it to the infirmary, and she saw Pinkie, who had woken up, and was in a sitting position, looking at the stub that was once her leg.
“Pinkie, what happened to your leg?” Dash asked.
“T-They ripped it out” Pinkie said as she looked at Dash, then asked, “What happened to you?”
“They tried to turn me into a robot, but the controls broke, and I got out.” Rainbow Dash explained.
“Well, what are we going to do now?”
“We get AJ, and get out of here.”
Pinkie nodded, the tried to stand up, but fell to the ground instead, “Um… Could I get a little help here?”
Dash walked over to Pinkie, picked her up, and started to walk to the cell that help Applejack.
They opened the door to the dungeon, and walked inside. However, Rainbow Dash saw both Rarity and Nightmare Moon in the cell, Nightmare Moon was holding a knife up to Applejack’s throat.
“Hello, Rainbow and Pinkie.” Nightmare Moon greeted them. Rainbow was also greeted with a metal hoof smacking Pinkie away, and grabbing her stomach. A metal wing that was as sharp as a sword was held up to her throat, Rainbow turned, and saw Fluttershy.
“Oh no.” Rainbow squeaked out.
“Are you ready to watch one of your closest friends die Rainbow?” Nightmare Moon grinned evilly.
“Rainbow.” Applejack started, “Go on without me!”
“Well, I kinda can’t, but thanks for the offer.” Rainbow sarcastically replied.
Suddenly, the room darkened. This lead Rainbow Dash into figuring out that she could see in the dark, she saw that Pinkie had knocked the lantern off of the ceiling. She also saw the Nightmare Moon was confused at what just happened. Pinkie then threw the lantern at Nightmare Moon, causing her to fly back into the wall. Rainbow smacked Fluttershy away with her new wings and ran for the cell.
Applejack, who had been let go when Nightmare Moon flew into the wall, caught the knife that Nightmare Moon had, and then sliced at Rarity’s eye. Rainbow Dash flew for both of her companions, and put them on her back, grabbed Pinkie, and started to run away, as fast as she could, hoping she would find an exit, as she ran, she could hear the sounds of guards running after her, this only made her run faster.
And then, after what felt like an eternity, Dash could see the way out, an open gate, but as she got closer, the gate started to close, Dash knew that she would never make it and this rate, so she did the one thing that she knew best, she started to fly, it wasn't easy with her new wings, but she managed to get out, just before the gate closed, she then started to fly back to Ponyville.
“What are we going to do now?” Applejack asked
“I don’t know.” Dash replied.
As Rainbow flew back to Ponyville, she started to lose control of her wings and fell into the ground.
“Rainbow, what happened to Twilight?” Applejack asked.
“She’s dead.” Rainbow Dash tried to brush the situation off quickly, “Now, c’mon, we need to find a way to beat Nightmare.”
“Oh no! Ah gotta get home to see if mah family is alright.” Applejack said, and started to run to Sweet Apple Acres, but didn’t get far, as Rainbow landed right in front of her.
“No! We gotta go find a way to stop Nightmare Moon! Now!” She shouted.
“Ahm going to go see if mah family is alright!” Applejack argued.
“Your family is probably dead and now they are irrelevant to the mission!” Rainbow yelled in a robotic tone.
Applejack realised that she still had the knife in her hooves, and lifted it up to Rainbows neck, “You are a robot freak! For all ah know, you couldn’t even be the real Dash!”
Applejack pushed Rainbow out of the way, and left for her home.
“Fine! We don’t need you!” Rainbow looked back and noticed Pinkie sitting far away from her. She walked up to Pinkie and placed a hoof on her back, “What’s wrong?”
“What would I be able to do now? Nothing. You go on without me. I’ll stay here and protect Ponyville.” Pinkie said.
“FINE!” Rainbow yelled, and flew away.
“Really? That’s how you guy’s got separated?” Twilight questioned.
“I skipped out on a few details.” Pinkie admitted.
“Do you have any idea where they are now?”
“Well, Rarity and the robot Fluttershy are still in the castle, and I do know where Dash and Applejack are, but I need to take you someplace first.” Pinkie said as she started to walk away, motioning Twilight to come with her.
Twilight followed Pinkie. As she did, she thought about what happened to this world, needless to say, she wanted to go back home, but it didn’t look like that would happen anytime soon, she continued to follow Pinkie, until they reached what looked like an abandoned building, Pinkie walked inside, and Twilight followed her.
“Let me turn on the light for you.” Pinkie said, closing the door behind them. The lights then flickered on, and Twilight saw that the room was scattered with notes, and maps of Equestria. There was also a table with some sort of weird gadgets.
Twilight then heard footsteps coming from the other room, “Hey! Pinkie! are you back?” A voice that sounded all too familiar shouted from the other room. The one carrying the voice came into the room.
He was a tall purple dragon with green spikes going down his back. He was probably in his teenage years.
“Hey Spikey! I have someone to show ya!” Pinkie shouted eager to see how this will play out.
Spike stared at Twilight in disbelief, his jaw hung open for a while. Then he grinned from ear to ear, and ran up to the lavender unicorn, hugging her tightly. “I missed you so much Twi!” He exclaimed.
“I missed you to, Spike. Now could you please stop choking me?” Twilight was being strangled by Spike’s tight hug.
“Oh, sorry.” He let go, “It’s just been it’s long since I’ve seen you.”
“I understand.” Twilight said.
“Well, well, well.” A voice that Twilight recognized came from another room. An all too familiar voice.
The bearer of this voice came in the room, it was Chrysalis. She was now in a wheelchair, looking much older than she used to. She now had grey hair. But upon first view, one wouldn’t notice that it was Chrysalis right away, instead they would probably view the giant red eye growing out the side of her neck. But the voice hadn’t even come from her, so it probably had came from the eye.
“It’s so good to see you again, Twilight. You might remember me, I’m Discord. Allow me to introduce you to Queen Chrysalis.” Discord, or... The eye of Discord, introduced them.
“Yeah, we’ve met.” Twilight grumbled.
“Oh, you have? Well, say hello to your old pal, Chryssy.” Discord said to Chrysalis.
“We have not met before!” Chrysalis yelled, before letting out a cough.
“Well, we have in my universe. And in my universe you weren’t so... Old.” Twilight said.
“Well, I wish I was put out of my misery.” Chrysalis growled.
“And I wish you were put out of my misery!” Discord yelled.
“What happened to you two?” Twilight asked.
“Well, I’m glad you’ve asked.” Discord began, “Well, I broke out of my stone prison with all the chaos going on, and Chrysalis had met up with Nightmare Moon just a while after you were executed. The three of us became pals, until we accidently messed up because of, SOMEONE'S STUPIDITY!” Discord looked at Chrysalis with angry eyes, “Anyways, Nightmare Moon used a spell to fuse us together, and now I can’t use my magic! We were sentenced to execution, but Pinkie and Spike saved us.”
“Alright Pinkie, we need to get both Rainbow, and Applejack back. How do we do this?” Twilight asked.
“OK, here’s the plan.” Pinkie started.
Rarity walked through the halls of the castle, until she got to the throne room. She opened the door and went up and kneeled, “My queen, the element of magic has returned. Twilight Sparkle, is alive.” She said.
“WHAT! HOW?!” Nightmare moon yelled.
“I don’t know, but I saw her with my own eyes... Or eye, as it were.”
“But she’s dead, you killed her in front of me, there’s no way she survived that!”
“It appears as if she did survive it, and she’s regrown all of her limbs.”
“... Well then…. I guess we’ll have to kill her again.” Nightmare Moon said, menacingly.
“Yes, I guess we will.” Rarity agreed.
Rarity and Nightmare Moon then started to laugh like psychopaths, the laughs echoed throughout the castle, creating a darker environment, and after a few minutes, the laughing died down, until there was only silents.
“So, how should we kill her?” Rarity asked.
Nightmare Moon thought about it for a moment, “Wait till she comes to us. Then we take her head.”
Rainbow Dash climbed through the broken window of the building, she had just gone through hell to get here. She looked around, it was all dark, so she turned on her night vision. She heard a noise from behind and turned to see what it was.
“Well, well, well. Howdy there pardner.” Applejack said coldly, as she walked out of the shadow.
“Applejack. What do you want?” She grumbled.
“Pinkies allies told me that there was a plan going on to take down Nightmare Moon. I’d assume that’s why you are here to?” Applejack questioned.
“Exactly.”
“Ah don’t know why she’d want you.” Applejack started, “You’re just a robot, meant to do your orders. You don’t want to help any of us.”
“OK, you wanna go at it?” Rainbow asked as she took her metal wing and flicked it as it turned into a blade.
“Nothin would make me happier!” Applejack took her knife out of her knife carrier around her waist.
They both charged towards each other, ready to fight to the death, until a purple aura surrounded them both, and they flew back.
They both looked up to see Twilight, with a very angry face, “What is wrong with you two? We have much bigger problems on our hooves, other than to kill each other!” She shouted.
The both got up, shocked. And then their faces lit up with joy, “Twilight!” Rainbow Dash ran up and hugged her, “But how?”
“I’m not your Twilight, I’m a different Twilight, from another universe.” She explained, “But that doesn’t matter! What matters is the fact that you're universe has gone to Tartarus!”
“Well, how do we fix it?” Applejack asked.
“Me and Pinkie have a plan, but it’s going to be difficult.” Twilight started to explain the plan.
The mecha pegasi were marching for the throne room, getting ready to fight the four ponies that were now coming to try and defeat them.
But in the throne room, much more interesting matters were going down. Nightmare Moon was sitting in a modified version of the robot pegasi machine.
“Are you sure you want to do this?” Rarity asked Nightmare Moon.
Nightmare moon hesitated, but said, “Yes I am.”
Rarity then pushed the button on the side of it, and the doors to it closed. Nightmare Moon screamed in pain inside of it, as she was being transformed. Rarity waited for it to stop, but that wouldn’t be any time soon.
As Rarity waited, she saw the robot Fluttershy walk to her.
“We are ready for battle.” The cyborg Fluttershy said.
“Good, now we just have to wait for those morons to show up.” Rarity replied.
“How do you know they’ll show up?” Fluttershy asked.
“I know them, and I know they’ll try to be the heros and try to save the day.” Rarity explained.
“Are they that predictable?”
“Yes.”
The cyborg Fluttershy then walked away, getting ready for the upcoming battle.
Rarity then went back to waiting for Nightmare Moon to come out, as she did this, she thought about what she did the day Nightmare Moon took over, how she spared Pinkie and Dash, back then, it made sense to her, but now, she regretted it, if she had let them die, then this battle wouldn’t be happening.
“This is it, if we fail now, than they win, and it would be all because I let them live.” Rarity thought.
She then took notice to the sounds of clanking metal just outside the large doors, this had to be it.
After a few more second of the sounds metal getting smashed on the ground, the door bursted open with an explosion. The door went right at Rarity, who ducked just in time so that her head wouldn’t be torn off.
Four mares stepped out of the dust and smoke from the explosion, one was the one legged Pinkie Pie, who was carrying a plank of wood in her teeth. Another was Applejack, who was carrying a knife in her hooves, and was looking rather beaten up. Rainbow Dash, who looked to have become a master with her metal wings. And most impressively, Twilight Sparkle, who was wrapped in a giant purple aura, making what looked like a giant purple robot that she could control. The magical robot had giant gatling guns on it’s shoulders, and was standing on it’s two hind legs, with arms and things that looked like claws at the end of it.
“Knock, knock.” Dash exclaimed, showing a face that said ‘You are so screwed right now’.
“What kept you?” Rarity asked.
“Oh, you know, those robots were hard to get passed.” Rainbow admitted.
“Well, I can tell you’re here because you want to defeat me and Nightmare Moon, but what you fail to see is that even if you win, the world will never go back to the way it used to be, so just give up and join my side.”
“No way! If we give up, you’ll make me into a mindless robot, and you’ll kill Pinkie, AJ, and Twilight… Well you killed Twilight a long time ago, but you’ll kill her again!”
“All of that is true, but you’re going to die if you fight me, and my army of robot pegasi, and unicorn guards.” Rarity smirked.
“If I may interrupt.” Twilight said before she used her magic and made the gatling guns on her shoulders shoot magic bullets at the robot pegasi.
This was the cue for the others to charge at the army of robots and unicorns. Rainbow was the first one in, using her wings to block any attacks that was made against her, and cutting up those who get too close to her. Applejack was the next in, preferring to get onto the offensive, she started cutting up ponies and robots right away, she was practically covered in blood. Pinkie also went to offensive, but wasn’t killing as many as she would have liked.
Rainbow was kicking a guard in the face when she spotted a sharp metal wing coming down towards her, she used her wing to block it, and then sliced at the robot pegasis neck.
Rarity watched this, still waiting for Nightmare Moon to come out, she was surprised that no pony was paying attention to what she was doing, this was the reason she joined Nightmare Moon’s side in the first place.
And then, the door to the device opened up, and a robot, as big as Twilight’s mecha suit came out, this was the robot Nightmare Moon.
“Oh… My… Celestia.” Twilight said in shock.
“Well, look who’s back from the grave.” Nightmare Moon said, her robotic voice echoed throughout the castle.
Twilight didn’t reply, she was still in shock from seeing the robot Nightmare Moon.
“Aww, to scared to talk? How sad.” Nightmare Moon laughed.
They ran up to each other, and Twilight hit the robotic Nightmare Moon. And then she shot the magical bullets at her, which did nothing to damage her.
Twilight then growled and charged at her opponent, Twilight took her magical arms and slammed against Nightmare Moon, trying to overpower her, as did Nightmare Moon, they both tried to get the upper hoof, but neither was able to knock the other down.
Meanwhile, Applejack was stabbing through anyone who got in her way, though not without gaining a few bruises. She then stuck the knife through a guard pony, making sure her knife latched on, tight. Blood poured from the wound, and then Applejack, with the guard still on her knife, spun around and started hitting the robots, and other guards with him.
She then finally threw the now dead guard off her knife and flipped onto a robot pegasus, and cut it’s head off.
Meanwhile, Pinkie Pie was hitting guards with her wooden plank left and right, killing a few of them, but after a few more hits, the plank broke, leaving Pinkie’s weapon less usefull then before.
“Uh oh.” Pinkie said, backing away from a few robot pegasi.
One of the robots raised it’s wing, and brought it down on Pinkie’s neck, slicing her throat, making blood fly out of her neck. Pinkie’s eyes dilated, and she fell to the ground, lifeless.
“PINKIE!!!” Dash yelled.
“Good job, Fluttershy.” Rarity said.
“Target has been eliminated.” Fluttershy announced.
“You monster!” Dash shouted, flying towards Rarity.
Rarity took her sword out with her magic and slashed at Rainbow, who just blocked with her wing. Rarity swung her sword again, and Rainbow blocked again. Rainbow turned around and kicked Rarity in the face. She fell back, but got up on her hooves just as quickly. She jumped up above Dash and Dash swung her sharp wing at Rarity.
Rainbow and Rarity were trying to outmatch the other, trying to see who could breakout of the clash first. Rarity did so, and cut Rainbows left wing off, and dodged the other one. Rainbow screamed in pain, but Rainbows attached wing then went towards Rarity’s chest and picked her up. She flung her against the wall, where she was knocked out.
Rainbows cyborg eyes warned her of oncoming danger from behind, she turned and saw the robotic Fluttershy charging at her. Fluttershy swung her sharp wing at her head, but she ducked out of the way, and they used her only wing left to grab the robot by the neck and push her to a nearby wall.
“Fluttershy, it’s me, Rainbow Dash, don’t you remember?” Dash asked, tearing up.
“Negative” Fluttershy replied.
“Come on, I know you remember me, somewhere in your mind, you just have to fight the mind that’s taken over you.” Rainbow tried to convince her.
“I... I…” Fluttershy stamerd.
“That’s it, try to remember me, try to remember those days in flight school, try to remember when we realized we were the elements of harmony.”
“... D...D-Dash… Is that you?”
“Yes, it’s me.” Dash started to smile.
“T-They got you too?” Fluttershy asked.
“No, I got out before I became a mindless robot.”
“W-What’s g-going on?”
“We’re in the middle of a battle, and we need your help.”
“... Ok, I’ll help you.” Fluttershy worked up the courage to fight.
“Great!” Dash started, “Now come on-” Dash was then cut off by her own robotic wing going through her back and out her chest. Blood poured out of her, and she spit out some, as she was picked up by Rarity and flung away.
“So sorry I have to do this dear.” Rarity said, taking her sword out and cutting diagonally with her sword at Fluttershy’s neck, down to the bottom of her stomach. Electricity went flying as Fluttershy’s two half’s separated and fell to the ground, “But I will not allow myself to be defeated by you.”
Meanwhile, Applejack was finishing off the most of the robot pegasi, and guards, with only a few left, and then she spotted what Rarity had done to Dash.
“Dash! No!” Applejack shouted. She ran over to them, as she slaughtering more guards and robot pegasi that got in her way to get to Rainbow Dash.
“Looks like you’re a little late to save your friend.” Rarity said.
“You monster! She was once your friend!” Applejack yelled.
“She didn’t care about me! We were friends for two weeks! And none of you ever had anytime to do anything with me!!!” Rarity shouted.
“You bitch! This is all your fault!” Applejack screamed as the swung her knife at Rarity, who block the attack with her sword.
Rarity then countered the attack, and tried to slash Applejack’s throat, but Applejack ducked.
The white unicorn turned around and tried kicking the orange earth pony in the face, but she took Rarity’s leg and threw her at the wall.
Applejack ran up with the knife in her mouth. As Rarity got up, she realised she was too weak to pick up her sword with her magic, so she picked it up with her hooves.
Rarity stared at Applejack, and then started to run towards her, they both jumped up into the air straight towards each other, and then used their weapons to slash at the other.
Rarity landed on the ground, out of breath, but she was thankful to hear Applejack’s head sliding off the rest of her body.
She put her sword back in her scabbard, and looked around. Barely any robot pegasi were left, and all the guards were dead.
“Hey, Rarity!” A deep voice called from behind her. The unicorn mare turned to see a teenage purple and green dragon standing tall, a few feet away from her.
“S-Spike?” Rarity said, stunned, “You... You’ve grown.”
Spike swung at Rarity with his claws, but she jumped and took her sword out, and stabbing him in the tail.
Spike let out a loud roar and grabbed Rarity’s head, and threw her to the far end of the room. He ran towards her, running through every robot pegasus that got in his way.
He jumped up and threw a punch at Rarity, who was on the ground at the time. She rolled over, before the dragon was able to punch a hole into her, and instead went through the floor.
Rarity jumped up, and threw her sword down at his neck, he turned to the side, missing it, and kicked her away.
“Gah! You pesky dragon!¨ Rarity yelled.
¨You brought all this on yourself, you betrayed your friends!” Spike yelled back.
“And I’d do it again if I was given the chance!” Rarity yelled as she charged towards Spike, who grabbed her and threw her in a random direction, it just so happened that he threw her into the robot Nightmare Moon device, when they realized this, they looked at each other for a few seconds, then Rarity ran for the exit, and Spike ran to the controls, Spike quickly hit the button to close the door to the device, trapping Rarity inside, as Rarity banged on the door to be let out, Spike started up the device, and soon Rarity’s screams could be heard screaming in pain, but the screams would soon stop, and when the door opened, Rarity’s bloody corpse was laying in front of the door.
Spike looked around, all of the robot pegasi were defeated, all that was left was Nightmare Moon, and Twilight.
Twilight and the cyborg Nightmare Moon were throwing punches at the others giant armor. Twilight punched Nightmare Moon repeatedly, but the cyborg uppercut, causing Twilight to fly back.
“Poor Twilight.” Mecha Nightmare Moon laughed, “You are so helpless!” She looked over to Spike. “And now you get to watch him die with you!” Her wing turned into a gun, and pointed it at Spike.
Twilight gasped and kicked Nightmare Moon away. “Don’t you dare!” She shouted.
They both continued to throw punches, until Twilight's magic started to give out. Nightmare Moon started to tear away the magic she had for her armor.
Nightmare Moon tore away the center piece, which protected Twilight. Nightmare Moon lifted a hoof to strike her down.
“THAT’S ENOUGH!” A voice that had sounded like it came from everywhere at once shouted.
A bright light came in the room, causing Nightmare Moon to shield her eyes.
“What?!” Nightmare Moon backed away, “How is this possible? I killed you!”
“Luna!” Celestia came out from the bright light, “You have failed us all! I trusted you!” A portal from behind Nightmare Moon appeared, showing the light of the sun.
“No!” Nightmare Moon yelled. “Please don’t do this!” Her armor started to tear away, and fly into the portal, more and more pieces of her started to come off, “NOOO!!!!!!!” She let out a final scream, before all of her was forcefully sucked into the portal.
The portal closed, leaving no trace of Nightmare Moon.
Twilight just stood there, her jaw hanging loosely from her mouth, she was shocked about what just happened. Finally, she regained her state of mind, and looked at the ghost of Celestia.
“P-Princess?” Twilight stutterd.
“Yes Twilight?” Celestia replied
“What is going on?!”
“Well, Nightmare Moon came back one week after you defeated her, then Rarity betrayed all of you, then she killed me and you, took your friends, made Fluttershy a robot, tried to kill Pinkie and make Rainbow Dash a robot, but they escaped, and a few years later, you came back. You and your friends fought cyborg pegasi, and guard unicorns, while you were busy with Nightmare Moon, all of your friends got killed, then I came back and killed sent her to the sun.” Celestia explained.
“... Well, yeah, I got all that, but... Why did all of that have to happen?” Twilight asked.
“I don’t think any of it needed to happen, it was only because Rarity betrayed you that all of this happened.”
“And she betrayed us because we didn’t care about her?”
“She was going to try and sabotage Nightmare Moon from the inside, but her mind, and heart were corrupted.”
“What is wrong with this world!?” Twilight shouted.
“There’s nothing wrong with it, this is just the path it went down.” Celestia replied.
“So… You’re saying that my world could have been like this one?”
“It still could be”
“What?!”
“There’s nothing preventing something like this from happening to your world.. Until now.” Celestia informed.
“What are you saying?” Twilight asked.
“You came here for a reason, and that reason was to prevent this from happening to your world, and it looks like your time here is done.” Celestia smiled.
Twilight sighed, “It’s just a shame everything had to end like this. Could there have been a way to save them?”
Celestia shook her head, “No. They wouldn’t have survived this war either way.”
“Twilight!” Spike shouted, running up, and hugging her, “Thank you so much.”
“Ack! Hugging, tightly, can’t breath!” Twilight squeaked out the bit of oxygen she had saying that.
“Oh! Sorry.” Spike let go.
“It’s alright.” Twilight smiled, and then thought, “But... How will I get back to my dimension?”
“Leave that to me.” The Discord/Chrysalis hybrid rolled into the room.
“Huh?” Twilight looked to it.
“We have been busy making something to send you back to your world.” Discord/Chrysalis said.
“Well, Lets do this, I guess.” Twilight turned to Spike, “Goodbye.”
“Goodbye.” Spike replied.
The Discord/Chrysalis then put a device on her.
“Wait!” Twilight stopped Discord chrysalis from pushing a button, which would activate the device and take her bad to her own world, “Can I see the sun rise, on this land?” Twilight asked Celestia.
“Of course you may.” Celestia said. Her horn started to glow, and out from the horizon, the moon left, and the sun took it’s place, brightening up the once dark Equestria.
Ponies, who had hidden all looked out, and saw the sun rising on the land, knowing what it meant.
“Amazing.” Twilight said, as a tear drew from her eye. “Alright, I’m ready.”
Discord/Chrysalis pushed a button, and Twilight disappeared.
