The Apocalypse Has Arrived

It was a beautiful day in Ponyville, clear skies with all the birds flying gracefully in the big blue sky. It was indeed a wonderful day. All the townsfolk were doing their usual stuff. Pinkie working at Sugar Cube Corner, Rarity making new flawless dresses, Applejack picking apples getting ready to sell them across the town, Rainbow Dash chilling upon the clouds being lazy, Fluttershy playing with her animals in her lovely garden full of dazzling flowers, and Twilight studying in her library like a good student. Everyone was happy with their joyful lives, but none of them knew that their perfect world was coming to an end.

"What a  beautiful day isn't Spike?" said Twilight with a joyful smile.

"Sure is Twilight. Heh, I wish everyday was like this." replied Spike.

"Me too." Twilight was getting ready to go see the princess to give her report on what she learned about friendship. She was about to leave when she received a letter from the princess.

"It's a letter from the princess."

"What does it say?"

"To my faithful student Twilight, I would like for you to please visit me here in Canterlot for an important and tragic news. Please hurry!"

"The princess is in the trouble, come Spike we must go!"

"Right!" Twilight bolted right out of her house and caught the fastest train to Canterlot.

She arrived at Canterlot,  and ran towards the castle quickly. As she was running towards the castle, many things were running through her mind. She made it to the castle and dashed towards the throne room. There was Princess Celestia sitting upon her throne with a depressed and worried expression.

"Princess! What' wrong?" Celestia looked upon Twilight with tearful eyes

"Come here Twilight." sobbed Celestia

"What's wrong princess?" replied Twilight with a worried tone. Celestia arose from her throne and walked towards Twilight and embraced her lovingly. Twilight could feel the wetness of her cheeks from the tears. Celestia looked upon Twilight, "I have tragic news Twilight, this day I hoped would have never come is coming. This world is going to end."

"What?!" yelled Twilight shocked. "But how do you know?"

"I knew that one day this would happen, but i didn't suspect it to happen this soon. There's a prophecy that spoke of this day, as well of what sighs that will appear before the end of days. I have recently been seeing these sighs for the past few days now. Now I know for sure it is time." Upon hearing this, Twilight began to cry knowing that all her friends and family were going to die. "I called you here Twilight so that you may go back to Ponyville and give everyone the news, so they can live their final moments with the ponies they love. I will go around the rest of Equestria to give the news." She placed her hoof on Twilight's shoulder and wrapped her wings around her. "You were my greatest student Twilight, and I'm so glad to have met you on that day. I love you Twilight." Twilight began to weep more and embraced Celestia tightly.

"I love you too."

"Now go, give the news so that they too may say their last words to those they love." Celestia then gave Dawn a tight hug, tears flowing down her cheeks, then she gave her a final kiss upon her forehead. "Farewell my student."

"Farewell." replied Twilight. She then took off to catch the fastest train back to Ponyville. "How am I going to break the news to everyone Spike?" Sobbed Twilight.

"I...I don't know," replied Spike with a worried tone. Twilight sat there in the booth gazing out the window, wondering how to the break the news, and how she has to tell her friends goodbye. This once beautiful day has turned into the worst day in Twilight's life.
