My Little Pony Champions of Justice

After finally settling in it was time for Princess Celestia and Luna to find out who Valiant was and where he came from, Twilight and her friends were also present at the meeting along with a few nobles from the neighboring countries of Griffonia and Saddle Arabia along with Twilights brother Prince Shining Armor and Princess Cadence of the Crystal Empire. Once all guests had been accounted for the two sisters rose from their chairs announcing for the meeting to begin.

"Thank you all for coming. Now as you know there are rumors saying that a stranger had fallen from the sky arriving in Equestria. Well my sister and I are here to tell you the rumors are true."

Within seconds after her announcement the council had already begun to discuss among themselves as the whether or not this could pose as a serious threat until Luna nodded in agreement over something private with Celestia before continuing the announcement.

"I am sure you all have questions and I am sure our guest will be more than happy to answer them. Members of the council please welcome Valiant Charge."

The guards opened the doors allowing Valiant to enter the room as he took center stage, many of the council members kept their eyes on him mumbling among themselves with some remembering the little stunt he had pulled the other day at the castle gardens.

"So that's the brute?" A noble asked one of the other ponies giving a smug look not knowing Valiant could here almost every syllable.

"Yes that's the Unicorn. I wonder why the princess even let's him stay here?"

Valiant had remembered that pony from yesterday and smirked at him in a wicked grin that made him cringe in his seat while a few of Twilights friends giggled as silently as possible while their friend waited for the room to quiet down.

"Greetings everyone. My name is Valiant Charge and as Princess Celestia said I am indeed a stranger here, in fact I am not even from this world."

"Then where are you from exactly?"  Asked the representative from Griffonia as he leaned forward, listening in closely.

"My home is Azeroth and it's much different from your world. As Equestria is a land of peace Azeroth is a land of war. Um is there a way I can show any of this?"  He asked knowing the council members might find his story a little farfetched until a stone pedestal appeared from the ground with a single crystal floating above it.

"This is a viewing crystal, it will allow us to see into your mind."

Valiant had looked to Princess Cadence who had just explained the purpose of the crystal and bowed as a form of gratitude before placing his horn on the crystal and from it an image of a wasteland appeared making them gasp in shock.

"This is the kingdom of Lordaeron. Once the greatest Kingdom in all of Azeroth, now a shadow of its former glory. The rivers are now poisoned and the land infested by The Scourge. A vast army of undead warriors who's only purpose is to consume all life, when I was just a colt I saw firsthoof the horrors that these mosnters were capable of...."

Despite his better judgement Valiant had shown images of the undead storming the city of Lordaeron, slaughtering thousands of innocents and even feasting on the flesh of the fallen but before he could show anymore the image had faded and turned into a vast frozen tundra before a large sinister looking iron gate appeared making everypony cringe with fear.

"I don't know why but my blood's gone cold." Shining Armor said as Cadence held his hoof while Twilight and her friends huddled together.

"After I had finished my military training with my master my comrades and I journeyed to the stronghold of the undead in the frozen wastes of Northrend and our campaign lead us here to Angrathar otherwise known as 'The Wrathgate'. Our assault was lead by High Lord Bolvar Fordragon."

At the sound of his name the nobles were expecting to see a dragon leading an army of other ponies but instead they saw a strange two legged creature clad in golden armor.

"As you can guess he is not a pony. He is a human, on Azeroth they are our partners and we Equines have no form of speech there."

Valiants statement had shocked many of the nobles and wasn't surprise that some felt like this was an insult after describing ponies as nothing more than beasts of burden before an image of the battle began with Bolvar charging the undead ranks followed by his fellow soldiers, many of the council members were in awe of his skill and bravery.

"Our attack was successful thanks to the help of some unexpected allies." Valiant smirked as a large army of wolf riders came charging in lead by a strange creature in spiked armor.

"These are the warriors of The Horde. An army that consists of Orcs,Trolls, basically creatures you'd find in books of fiction now back to the discussion. Once we had secured the platform to the gate our armies prepared for one final attack....that was until HE showed up."

Valiants voice became spiteful as an image of another human appeared but this one had seemed different. He was dressed in black armor decorated with skulls and a long black flowing cape, on his head was a strange looking crown that seemed to make his eyes give off an icy blue glow that made everypony chill to the bone and in his hand was a sinister looking sword enchanted by magical runes.

"This...is the Lich King; Ruler of The Scourge."

From the sound of his voice all could tell Valiant had hated this being more than anything as an army of undead soldiers began to rise around him.

"Our main objective was to slay him and bring down the scourge. We had him right where we wanted him but our battle was interrupted by a group of undead rebels known as "The Forsaken" It was because of them The Lich King escaped and my comrades were slaughtered...."

Valiant then showed the events that lead him to being in Equestria as bombs of toxic gas began to rain down from the sky creating a cloud of fumes that melted the very bones of its victims making the council gasp in shock.

"How horrible..."  Twilight exclaimed silently with tears in her eyes as Applejack hugged her close while the image played on.

"I watched from atop a nearby ledge as the slaughter began before fleeing for my life....I ran to my master as the fumes began to creep upon our camp until a stray bomb hit one of the nearby labs creating an explosion that somehow transported me here...and the rest you know is history."

The image faded as Valiant gave a few short breaths not realizing how much he had strained his body from using the crystal, a few of the guards helped him to stand as he began to collapse from exhaustion but just as Celestia was about to cut the meeting short he raised his hoof assuring them he was fine and proceeded to answer some questions from the council members.

"This Scourge...How do we know they won't come to Equestria?" Asked the representative from Saddle Arabia looking rather worried after viewing Valiants memory.

"Even I can't answer that. However given that you live in one of the hottest desert areas in Equestria i'd say you have the home field advantage as the undead seem to thrive in the cold."

"I see." The council member than sat back down feeling relieved while Shining Armor was next to give his question.

"I understand that yesterday you engaged one of the guards in a duel. Does this mean you have military training?"

"I do. But nothing like that! I don't even know how I was able to use a weapon in the first place." He stated looking surprised as the others.

"Why not use your magic?" Shining asked raising an eyebrow. At first Valiant felt a little embarrassed at Shinings question as he reached behind to scratch his head, giving a sheepish grin.

"See the thing is...I wasn't a unicorn back on Azeroth I was just what you call a regular Earth Pony."

This news had surprised the entire council. First a stranger from another world appears out of the sky and now this stranger says he wasn't even a Unicorn to start with? such questions however would have to wait as Celestia and Luna rose from their seats after seeing how much time was spent during the meeting.

"I'm afraid we will have to continue this discussion for another time ladies and gentlecolts. Thank you for your time, Council Adjourned."

The others agreed with little arguments while Twilight and her friends went to check on Valiant who was clearly exhausted from using so much magic despite being able to keep a straight face.

"You okay?" Rainbow asked as Valiant was out of breath still trying to stand.

"Guess using over a long period takes a lot out of ya huh?" He asked Twilight with a smile while they helped him to walk.

"You really mustn't push yourself darling you just recovered from your injuries." Rarity stated in a caring manner while he smirked showing gratitude for her concern.

"I'll be fine. I just need some rest, I'll see you girls tomorrow is that okay?"

"Why of course." Fluttershy answered sounding delighted at the thought of his visit while he entered his room for a well deserved rest.

As Twilight and her friends made their way to the exit they all began to think about what they had just witnessed back at the council room and began to feel concerned for Valiant when Twilight got an idea.

"I know! how about each of us show Valiant around ponyville? I mean he's already seen Canterlot."

"That's a great idea!"

Pinkie shouted in agreement while the others nodded and before long a plan was in the making to welcome Valiant to ponyville. Later that night as Valiant slept the horrors he remembered at the wrathgate began to haunt him once more.

"W-what? where am I?" Valiant said out loud finding himself in a burning field and around him the slain bodies of his new friends, each body was horribly mutilated with cuts and gashes and the sight alone was enough to make him sick. Just then a strange voice began to echo from out of nowhere.

"The time has come..."

"WHO'S THERE?!?" He shouted looking around with an enraged look on his face.

"Soon. This world and all who live in it will BURN!!!" The voice sounded more demonic and bellowing as a sinister laugh began to follow, in that moment Valiant burst from his sleep tackling a pony to the ground. It was Luna!!

"HRAAAGH!!!"

"Valiant? VALIANT!!"

Luna had infiltrated the unicorns dream after sensing his fear and used her magic to help him break free of his nightmare but as she did so Valiant lashed out at her, pinning her to the ground by the throat as her guards moved in with their spears.

"NO STOP!!"

Luna ordered her guards to step back as she looked at the frightened unicorn in the eyes, using her magic to slowly break him out of his trance.

"Listen to me Valiant. There is nothing to fear...you are safe."

Luna's voice had managed to ease Valiant as he slowly drifted back to sleep with the princess placing him back in bed while her guards kept their eyes on him ready to strike in case he lashed out again.

"Are you alright princess?"

"I am fine. Return to your stations."

As the guards left Luna's gazed returned to her frightened friend now lying in bed, never before had she seen a pony so frightened before and never had she felt an evil such as this after getting a glimpse of Valiants nightmare. After performing her duties Princess Luna knew she had to deliver news of this incident to her sister while Valiant would be in Ponyville tomorrow.
