Foal Return.

Aura sighed as she put the basket down on her dining table. She gently picked up each foal one at the time and placed them down and put the basket down on the floor. She stared at them wondering what their names could be. She stared at each foal and decided to give them makeshift names for the time being.

She first looked down at the black alicorn, thinking of names that could fit her. She truly did look like Nightmare Moon, the princess or goddess of the night. Wait, goddess of the night. She didn't spend 3 years in her few school years studying Greek. The Greek goddess of the night was referred to as Nyx, that would be a prefect for the little filly and somehow Aura felt like it suited her like it was her name anyway.

She smiled and turned her attention to the twins, as she was referring to them considering they looked about the same age, and tried to think of names for them. The unicorn was light and bright, almost like a wish but that couldn't be her first name but her second. What could go before Wish though. Star....Starry. Yes, Starry Wish was a prefect name, thought Aura.

As for the last one, Iridescence fitted her because of her twin's name. Iridescence meant a type of colorful light and in the form of a name, it could be shortened to Iris which was a cute nickname. Aura was glad that she was a very studious student when she was a filly because she knew these things and it helped her greatly.

Now with the fillies having their makeshift names, she needed to get them into a makeshift diapers. She ran and got some cloth out of her bathroom. It wasn't great but it would at least do the night before she could get some diapers in the morning. She wrapped it around the foals' cute little bottoms and secured each one with a small drawing pin.

''Okay, sorted. Anypony hungry?'' she asked, as if they could speak and she was a little surprised about the next thing that happened.

''Wes Pwease. Mwlk! Mwlk!'' A babyish tone that came from Iridescence, who was buzzing her wings energetically but she never took flight. Aura was shocked, she might have to rethink they're ages or could it be that they weren't normal foals, well it would explain the alicorn filly at least. Wait could Nyx speak? And what about Star.

''Um, okay. What about Nyxie and Star?'' asked Aura.

''I wawt swme, mama.'' came Star's voice, it was quite and delicate. Like a bell, or a melodic harp. But Aura was shocked by the last word 'Mama', did these foals think she was their mother.

''Um...o-okay, sweetheart.'' Aura's voice came out stuttering, due to the awkwardness of the suitation. She was meant to be their mother, that was just crazy. But then again, she couldn't leave three beautiful sweethearts. But now, considering two could speak. What about Nyx? Could she or couldn't she? ''What about you, Nyxie?''

Nyx doesn't answer straight away, but nodded instead and cooed at the same time. The cooing gave Aura the answer. Nyx couldn't speak whilst the twins could. Wait, considering she was using baby talk, did that mean?! Oh. Not good, like really not good. Aura realized that she might have to breastfeed the little filly. But she hadn't given birth, then how could she?!

She looked down in the basket, seeing a yellow colored note. She blushed at the note of what the yellow stuff was. She picked up the note and read it. She was shocked by the words on the page.

Dear reader.

If you find these fillies, then their magic has drawn you to them. They are really special as you may note. For starters, the older two, a pair of twins have the ability to speak and walk despite only being 6 months old. As for the youngest, who is only 2 months, she doesn't have these talents but instead, she had the unique thing about being a alicorn who looks so much like Nightmare Moon.

But, that bit doesn't matter. Since you were drawn to their magic, you will now be genetically related to them so setting out searches to find their parents would just head back to you. Since they are now your daughters, I'll give you some helpful warnings and tips that you should watch out for in their development.

First of all, the oldest of the group, the unicorn filly, is very shy and timid. If you want her to speak to you, you must be calm and gently and very quiet otherwise she will become frightened. I do not know how long this will last for but it could last through fillyhood and if it does, you'll have to warn their teacher. But other then that, she a almost normal with the abnormality of her highly strong magic. Be sure that she doesn't learn magic to quickly or consider yourself dead. Why do you think I can't handle her?

As for the pegasus filly, she lacks the ability to fly because of being a hybrid. You may have noticed before picking this letter up that she simply flutters her wings but never takes flight. Well, you see because she is a hybrid. Because of this, her pegasus magic is being held back by the unicorn genes inside of her and thus, she doesn't know how to control her magical in pluses. You may also note that she was a huge appetite, don't feed her too much before bedtime otherwise she will never sleep and will go searching for food in the middle of the night and when I had her, one more then one occasion, she managed to slip outside so make sure all your windows and doors are bolted just in case.

As for the last filly, my personally favorite. Not because she's a alicorn, but because she's the easiest to handle. She is very bright for her age and when she learns how to speak, be warned, she'll constantly ask questions on various things and do not, I repeat DO NOT ever let her hear bad words otherwise she will never stop asking about them. And then you have her curiosity, not in the form of her questions, her curiosity reaches suicidal levels. Make sure you keep your eye on her. If she is heard, I will know and then I'll hunt you down till your blue in the face because well I can't care for them myself, I do love them with all my heart. Their my foals after all.

And a tip on all three of them, make sure to feed them three times a day and never, I repeat NEVER, give one more attention then the other or they'll get upset and may even run away from her. But that enough of the downers. Just remember to feed them, clean them, bathe them and put them to bed, at least till they're older and you'll be fine.

PS, there's mothering pills in the basket because you'll need to breast feed the alicorn filly. I managed to wean the other two before I gave them up but she wouldn't  have it. I'm sorry if this annoys, upsets or any other emotion is aroused by this but I can't help it. She just wouldn't listen to me.

Well, that was annoying. Aura couldn't help but think that. She glanced down and saw the mothering pills in a small case. There wasn't many, enough for a week though but there was a tag on it saying where she could get more when she ran out. She sighed and popped one in her mouth, she swallowed. It didn't feel so bad but she knew what it was doing to her body. Altering it's systems and making her produces milk for the infant.

Nyx seemed to know what had happened because she crawled over to her and moved her fore hooves skywards in a 'uppy, uppy' sort of way. It was actually pretty cute. She picked up the filly and breast feed her, the filly suckled eagerly. Whilst she was happy to have the filly there, Aura couldn't leave the twins alone.

She carried Nyx across the room, and opened her fridge as the filly continued to suckle. The filly was still suckling when Aura managed to find two cartoons of milk. She gently placed a straw in them and brought them to Iris and Star, who instantly began drinking the beloved taste. The mare smiled, but felt weak as Nyx drained her body of milk. She now knew those pills weren't going to last the week at all. Especially since she would have to feed them three times a week. Well, tomorrow was going to be busy, wasn't it.

She grimaced. She realized something, where was the babies going to sleep for the night. Their basket was ruined and she really couldn't have them on a bed with her. She could suffocate them after her. And judging by the warning, she didn't really want the fillies true mother coming after her.

''....I might have to go out tonight. But will the baby store even be open at this time of night.'' mumbled Aura, as she put Nyx down on the table. ''No, it probably won't but I have to try. Okay, I can't leave you three alone can I. Okay, let's do it like that.''

Aura's horn began glowing as she levitated Iris onto her back, she moved her mane so that the filly was snug and warm. She smiled when she saw the filly curl up and fall asleep in the sunken bit of her back. Aura then picked up the other two and walked slowly out of the apartment and down the street the nearby baby store. It was going to be a long evening.
