Chapter one/Prologue
'Arrival'
Dear Journal
You know, why do I start off like that? Why not just 'Dear Diary'? I guess because, that would be 'gay', but what place am I to decide what's 'gay'? After all, I do watch 'the show' which most consider my 'people' to be gay, Oh well, unbelievers...
Anyway, before I went all ranty on you, today was uneventful, to say the least. I mean nothing happened, I got payed today, maybe next week, when I pay my bills, I can keep cable. Wouldn't that be nice, not having watch the show on the internet. Getting off topic, but, the topic of the uneventfulness of the day is boring so I might as well as wrap this entry up.
Wow, I just realized that I just droned on up there, so wrapping up. Goodnight Mr. Journal/Diary thing.
I set the book on the table beside me. I moved slightly, resting my laptop on my knees, "Hmm, maybe just one episode before bedtime," I looked at the luminescent clock in the bottom of the screen; '11:39 PM.' Maybe it was the amount if work I had performed today, but , nonetheless, I blacked out.

Have you ever watched a war-like movie where someone suffers from shell-shock? That's exactly the feeling I had at the moment. My vision was blurred, and around the edges, my vision was completely gone. With every passing moment, the ringing in my ears grew louder. Time was slowed to the point where I could detect every small moment. I took time to catalog my surroundings; like I said, my vision was blurred, but from what I could make out I was in a field. There was a crater with smoke billowing from the center. By now the ringing had subsided, as well as the blurring of my vision. I took note, in greater detail, that I was in a small meadow, surrounded by trees, it was night, the moon hung low in the sky. The aforementioned crater was deep, but not wide, the radius being no more the a few feet, the smoke pluming out was dark grey with a purple hue. The smoke blocked most of the structure behind it, but it looked similar to a house.
All of the sudden, a figure leaped through the ashen blockade; still silhouetted by the smoke it appeared to stand on four legs. It walked closer, instantly I realized who was staring me down, this mysterious figure was a light, but brilliant, shade of azure, its hair was two shades of light blue. This someone had a look of utter concern on its face; not at all what I, knew her for. She opened her mouth but her words were muffled; although it wasn't exactly shell-shock, I was stunned to be staring this particular female in the face. Like any self-respecting person would do, I laughed; and not a small scared laugh, no, a deep belly laugh. The concern turned to worry, then to annoyance.
I tried my hardest to bring myself under control, "Ha ha, ow, oh god I haven't had a good laugh in a while. That is nice," She looked worried for my own sanity; A mysterious stranger falls into your yard, causing a smoking crater, and after expressing your concern, he laughs in your face. She had every right to that emotion. I brought my hand up to hold my forehead, "Wow, this is amazing; Trixie is in my dream," I looked at my creamy white hand. Wait, that's not right, in front of my face was a hoof, "And, I made myself a pony this time! Finally," I looked up from the -my- hoof back up to Trixie.
Trixie spoke, "You... believe you're in a dream?" She had an amused look on her face. Something must have clicked in her brain, "Wait, how do you know my name?"
"Pssh, my dream, I don't have to answer questions,"
Trixie was beginning to become annoyed, "Please be serious, what are you doing at my house? What is that crater?"
"How should I know?"
"Because it's your dream," Oh hell no! No one mocks me! Not even Trixie...
"You don't have to be mean..."
"I didn't make a huge crater. Why are you so sure this is a dream?"
"Cause I'm not a pony, there's no way this ISN'T a dream," Trixie facehoofed, I can't make this up; It was the best moment of my life, to date. "How do you know this is not a dream? How could you prove to me that this is real?"
"Well let me just prove it to you," Her face split into a grin, I was like 'Dat malicious smile...' (Can you say 'Cupcakes guest-starring a vengeful Trixie? Don't get me wrong Trixie, she's up there for my favorite ponies.) Trixie's horn began to glow; The peek of it became a blinding light before relinquishing its ball of energy through a from of magical lightning. Energy coursed its way across my body; it felt like I was just electrocuted by a tazer.
I felt my eyes roll back in my head, "Gahhh, wha, why?" Tears began to swell in the corners of my eyes
"Pain should have woken you up, but, hey looky there, we're still here,"
"Ow, hmm, troll," A raindrop brought me out of my dazed stupor, after I had been mindlessly rubbing my poor defenseless flank, "It's raining,"
"So it is, come inside," I began to walk closer towards her house, "Are you going to leave your saddlebag?"
I began to turn to the spot I had just left. Sitting on the ground, was a saddlebag. I began to pick it up to examine the contents. "Wha, wher, Gah!" I threw it over my back in anger; Damn clasps, no flippin' hands sucks. Trixie had an amused look on her face, before turning to let me in. After entering, Trixie closed the door with her magic, Gah, so jealous. She motioned to the couch; her look told me to sit, which I did.
"Sup, Trix?"
"My name is Trixie. I have an idea, let's play a game. It's called the Truth. Now to play it, you-"
"Lemme guess, you ask a question, I answer truthfully, then vise-versa, amirite?"
"Err, yes. Who are you? What are you?"
"Well, my name's Alyx Vladimir, and I'm a human, from planet Earth," OK so Vladimir isn't my last name, but Damn is that not awesome? I mean right now I can think of two Russians off the top of my head right now who had that name, and they ARE awesome! Oh yeah, my turn. "Um, how far are we from Ponyville?"
"Only about 5 miles, I go there every other week for supplies," My eyes widened larger that they already were, (Big Poni eyes are BIG) and my smile rivaled that of Pinkie's first. "How do you know me, or my name, or Equestria?"
Big smile is big, "Well... In my world we have a, uh, collection of stories one was about your, boasting, in Ponyville. There are others, but that's the only one about you," She looked dumbfounded. "Hmm, since that epi-story you must've changed; you don't refer to yourself as the Great and Powerful Trixie in the third person, and you're not, boasty, what happened?"
"I, just, changed. I realized, that well, it sucked being hated by many-a-pony. Even in Manehatten, where my biggest gig is, was disappointing, barely anypony turned out. So I settled here, I hope someday I can, befriend Twilight Sparkle, and learn magic under her. She is, after all, the esteemed student of Princess Celestia, and the Element of Magic. However, I haven't had the courage to show my face in Ponyville," Wow, thanks for the rundown of your dreams, sheesh.
"But, you said you go every other week to Ponyville to restock,"
"Yes, but not as me, I disguise myself,"
"OK, um, where will I be sleeping? Cause I can take the couch if you-"
"No, I have a second bedroom, you can take that,"
"Sa-weet, I think I'm going to turn in,"
"Alright, the door is down the hall to the left,"
"Thanks!"

Off in a dark castle on a dark mountain, trotted an ashen stallion. The corridor which he traversed cast shadows upon his, already dark coat. Although not built like a work-horse, he was quite toned; His strides were long and quick. The torches adorning the stone walls cast light, which flickered off his head. His pupils were tiny pin-pricks; with a scarlet ring around the black dots.
He eventually reached an oak door, after opening it he slowly walked in. After walking half-way across the room he bowed.
"Master, I have information regarding the ritual," His voice was filled with a mixture of fear and loyalty.
"Good, tell me, was it successful?"
"Err, yes sir, to some extent. An outside was pulled here, but it wasn't the one whom we hoped for,"
"You've, failed me?!"
"No, sir, the problem is still salvageable, if we jus-"
"Don't you tell me how to fix this problem, I will provide an answer to this problem. You will carry out the order to the Tee, do I make my self clear?" The voice boomed through the shrouded room, granting dominance over any living thing.
"Yes sir," The ash pony bowed before turning to leave the room, "All will be as you wish,"

Sup Brah.
So this is my brony-in-equestria story, although not a self-insert, it's definantly got some of my traits in 'ere. This is my third piece of writing (My first and Second kinda sucked, I'm not going to lie, I am actually embarrassed to say I published that clopfic, even through the cloak that is the inter-webs.) Just like everyone else has to say; point out my flaws, inconsistencies, and other, for lack of a better word, 'Oopsies' in the words of Flutterguy.
