//-------------------------------------------------------// The Tornado that changed my life -by Blackjack 99- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Last Chase //-------------------------------------------------------// The Last Chase My name is Kyle and I'm a Tornado chaser.  I've been chasing for five years.  I was in Joplin when the EF5 hit destorying most of the city in 2011.  I chased over a hundred tornadoes but I never imaged that I would chase one that would change my life in a way that can't be possible. It was June 5th 2015.  I was chasing storms in Iowa and one on rader was looking like a tornado could form and I wasn't to far from it. The sirens went off and I looked to see a funnel forming. My chase partner which two miles away from me call me over the radio. "Kyle the tornado is gonna come done on top of you.  Get the hell out of there".  My partner yelled though his mic. I floored my truck to get out of the way as the tornado touched down a minute later. "Kyle you alright bro".  My partner asked. "Yeah I'm fine".  I replied "You dumbass, you could have killed your self". "I'm sorry bro". I got a good distanced away and my partner said something over the mic. "The tornado is a wedge". I looked back at the tornado and it was bigger and on my tail.  It was like it was being it was following me.I swear I saw a rainbow inside of it as I didn't notice my partner screaming at me though the mic. "KYLE! GET OUT OF THERE YOUR TO CLOSE". I feat my truck lift off the ground my ears were popping.  My windows broke and glass hit my face.  I was hit in the head with some derb.  The last thing I saw was a rainbow and a angel had a hold of me. "Is this my last chase".  I thought to myself as I passed out. I awoke in a lot of pain and I was in a bed.  I heard a soft voice. "Oh mine! your awake, please try not to move.  Your in pretty bad shape". I feat someone push me back in bed and I opened my eyes.  I saw what at first I thought was an angel "Are you an angel". My sight started to clear and saw it wasn't an angel but a girl with pink hair.  She was blushing from what I said.  I looked around the room I was in a soft bed and the spoke up. "Umm. No I'm not an angel. I looked around at my surrounds. "Were I'm I"? I asked "Your in Ponyville.  I found you in the Ever Free Forest and I brought you back to my at my house.  What's your name". "My name is Kyle." "Umm I'm Twilight .  Nice to meet ya Kyle". "It's nice to meet you  Fluttershy". "What happened to you"? She asked My head stared to hurt. "Agh!  I can't remember right now". "Ok maybe when you meet my friends you can tell us.  umm. Do you really think I'm and angel"? I grabbed her hand and looked in her eye's with a smile. You saved me Fluttershy.  You are a angel to me". My head started to hurt and the room stared to spin and I passed out.  Fluttershy covered me up with the blanket and kissed me on the fore head and whisper something in my ear. "You can live with me for now Kyle.  I will look after you". A month had passed since Fluttershy found me and our friendship grows stronger everyday.  I healed enough to be able too meet her friends. "Are you ready for school". I nodded. A few minutes later we came to the school.  It was Canterlot High.  We entered the school.  Fluttershy toke me to the cafeteria and pointed to a table were five other girls sitting. We walked to them "Hey Fluttershy!  Who's youyr new friend"?  Said a girl with a southern actcent. "This is Kyle.  He's been living with me for a month.  He told me from a diffent world just like Twilight was". "Hi! my name Pinkie Pie".  Said a girl with puffy pink hair. The next to introduce there self to me was a girl with rainbow hair. "My name is Rainbow Dash.  Nice to meet you ahh". "Kyle is my name". "It's nice to meet you Kyle". Rainbow Dash said as she put out her hand and I shoke it. "Nice to meet you to Rainbow Dash and Pinkie". I greeted. Next to talk was a girl with dark blue hair, a white shirt and a blue shirk with three diamonds on it. "My name is Rarity.  It's a pleasure to meet you Kyle". "It's nice to meet you Rarity. Next was a girl with a blond hair.  She was wearing a Stetson. "I'm a Applejack.  It's a nice to meet you Kyle".   She said with a southern vocie. It's nice to meet  you Applejack". Last to greet me was a girl with yellow and red hair. "I'm Sunset Shimmer.  It's nice to meet you". "It's nice to meet you Sunset Shimmer". The bell rang for students to get ready for class. I'll see you all at lunch time".  Rainbow said. Kyle you should go to principal Celestia's office.  Since your new here". Yeah I think your right.  I said. See you at lunch".  Fluttershy said as she went to her locker. I knocked on the door to principal Celestia's office. Come in".  I heard a voice say.  I opened the door and entered. "Hi principal Celestia.  Fluttershy said I should come talk to you.  My name is Kyle and I'm new here". She looked to me. Will Kyle welcome to Canterlot High.  This is my sister.  Vice principal Luna.  You'll like it here.  Luna can you take Kyle to Cheerlees class". Luna nodded. We came to a door and entered.  Luna knocked twice and entered. "Sorry to interrupted your class Ms. Cheeralee but we have a new student.  Everyone this is Kyle.  He will be going to school here.  I hope you all treat him as your friend". "Thank you Luna.  Kyle why don't you take a sit". I looked around the room and saw Sunset waving to me.  I sat next to her. "Hey Kyle".  Said greeted with a smile. "Hi Sunset". "Alright class i want you all to pick a partner for a silence fair.  it's in a couple weeks". "Kyle do you want to be my partner"?  Sunset asked "Sure I would like that". "What do you want our project to be"? After school Sunset toke me to were her friends hangout. "Hey Kyle! how was your first day".  Fluttershy asked. "It was ok". Pinkie noticed something that fell out of my pocket. "Hey! Kyle! what's this suppose to be a picture of".  Pinkie asked. I looked to were she was and she had a picture of destiored homes. "Pinkie were did you find that"? asked Rarity. "It fell out of Kyle's pocket". She handed to me as I remember were the picture was taken  I remember what happened before I woke up here . "All of you take a sit and I'll tell how I got here". //-------------------------------------------------------// A New Home //-------------------------------------------------------// A New Home This picture was taken four years ago.   A giant tornado hit a city named Joplin, Missouri on May 22nd 2011.  It destroyed most of the town killing 161 people.  It was the deadest single tornado to hit. The room was silnet.  They all had the look of sadness on there faces. "I arrived shorty after it passed.  I will never forget what I saw when me and my chase partner arrived". "What did you guys see"? Rainbow asked. "We saw that there was a survivor but he had been pierced though the chest with a big place of metal.  I tried to help him, but he said to me". "It's to late for me young man". A tear fell from my eye.  Fluttershy came and put here hooves around me. "He died in my arms". I looked up to see  they all had tears falling from there eyes. "Oh! pour darling, that most had been treble to watch that man die".  Said Rarity as a tear fell from her eye. "I'm glad I didn't see that.  I probably would have thrown up".  Said Rainbow Dash. Rarity glared at her. Pinkie was crying unconterable and hugging me. "That wasn't the last time I heard from him". They all looked confused. "A couple days later.  I got back to my home state of Wisconsin.  I got a text on my cell phone that was unknown number.  I read it and my heart skipped a beat.  It said, Think you for being there for me so I wouldn't die alone". They all came over to hugged me. "That's very nice of you to have been there for that man on his last moments darling.  So he didn't die alone".  Said Rarity Later Sunset and I said are good byes.  We walked back to her house.  Few minutes later we were in the living room and she Spoke up. "Kyle, would  you like some hot chocolate"? I nodded. She went to the kitchen.  Moments later he came back with two cups of hot chocolate. I broke the silence. I want to thank you all for everything you have done for me.  For giving me a place to live.   I would like my own house here in Caterlot". They smiled at me and hugged. "Your very welcome". A few minutes later I was tried so I headed up to bed.   I crawled in mine bed. "Good night Kyle". "Good night Sunset ". The next morning I awoke to see Sunset with a smile on her face. "Good morning Kyle".  She said "Good morning Sunset ". "Come outside.  There's something I want to show you". She grabbed my hand a pulled me outside. "Close your eyes for me". I did as she asked.  I could hear voices. "Ok you can open your eye's". I open my eye's and we were outside a house. "This is your new home". Sunset said Sunset and I entered.  Rainbow, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Applejack were finishing putting furature in.  I was surprised.  All of my Baltimore Ravens stuff were in the living room and in my bedroom. "How do you like darling.  I made you beautiful blue carpet and shades for the windows".  Rarity said. "I love them Rarity.  How did you get all my belongings here"? "Rarity and I went to your world and got them".  Pinkie aid hugging me. A tear fell from my eye "You girls did all of this for me"? "Of course silly willy". "I love it.  Thank you girls". We all joined in a group hug. A few days later. I was sitting in my living room watching NFL.  They managed to get television in Equestria.  I was watching my favorite team the Baltimore Ravens.  They were playing The team I hated the most.  The Pittsburgh Steelers.  It was halftime and there was a knock at my door.  I went to see that it was Sunset. "Hey Kyle! What are you doing "? "I'm watching football". "Can I come in to watch it with you"? I thought for a moment. "Sure, Why not". Shed entered and trotted to the living room. "Are the Ravens winning"? I nodded. "Good I hope they win". Do you want anything to drink Sunset"? She nodded. I went to get some apple cider.  The few months I've lived Equestria.  Sunset was the one that hang out with me the most. We sit next to each other and watched the game.  Sunset  cheered for the Ravens.  They won.  We hugged each other tight. Later we sit in the living room. I started a fire in the fire place.  Sunset broke the silence. "Kyle can I ask you something"? I nodded. "Back on your world.  Did you have that a girlfriend"? I was silent for a moment and sighed. "No. I had a girlfriend but she ripped my heart out of my chest". She looked and me confused. "It's what it feat like.  She really didn't rip it out". "What happen"?  She asked. I toke a deep breath and answered her question. "She cheated on me". I looked to Sunset and saw anger in her eye's. "If I would meet this girl.  I will buck her into next week". I started to cry.  She was mad at someone who hurt me.  She looked to me with a corncerned look. What's wrong"? "No girl has ever been nice to me like that". She hugged and I cried in her. "It's ok". I feel asleep in her arms.  The next morning I awoke up in my bed.  I looked to see were Sunset was but she was gone.  I saw a small note on the dredsser next to my bed. Kyle I had fun watching the game with you.  I want to know if I can come to watch next week.  I'll see you tomorrow. Sunset  Shimmer<3 I blushed.  Does Sunset like me more than a friend.
