The stars gave me hope
Night finally covered Equestria. In almost every town you looked ponies were preparing to go to bed, exhausted after a full day under the sun. Only the capital city was different. Even at that late hour Canterlot was full of life. Some ponies were attending am important meeting or enjoying a late meal at a cozy restaurant while others were simply trotting on the streets admiring the beauty of the night. Over the years ponies finally acknowledged how gorgeous the night can actually be. Tonight the sky looked different.. Even the stars knew that. They encircled their aincent mother in a protective kind of form , spreading light across its darkness.
However one pony wasn't admiring the sky. The powerfull, pure light of the moon nor the intesne glow of the stars were stong enough to pierce through the eyes of the mare, the eyes that gazed into the shadows. The soft wind that was brushing against her mane and coat was not even noticed, for the pony was lost in her thoughts. The sudden sound of a bird stirred her awake. She slowly turned around and looked at the peacefull form of her sister sleeping. She was jealous of her. How could she sleep after all that has happend?
She sighed and turned around so she could face the sky again. The horrible memories of that monster coming back to her. How she grinned at her, showing her small vampire-like theet while her blue star mane flowing dangerously behind her. How full of hatred that creature was, threataning to cover everything in darkness, only so she could be adored. She still remeberd her cat eyes staring directly at her, begging her to destroy the sun Princess.
She shook her head to erase those horrible images as one single tear finally broke free from her blue eyes. The tear fell on the ground while the mare stared at her. Sudennly she felt a wing drape on her back
'' You can't sleep again...Still thinking about the past little sister?''
'' Y-Yes. The past scared me sister. SHE scared me. She destoryed my future and...I..I'm afraid of her. Because of her i lost what was important. I lost myself in my jealousy and threatend to kill you and bring eternal night. I do not know how you were able to forgive me but i do now i will not very soon..."the younger sister said lowering her head.
Her older sister smiles before turning her face with her hoof twoards her '' Do you remember how NightmareMonn was able to escape from the moon?''
''Yes..On the longest day of the thousand year the stars will aid in her escape... But what does it matter anyway. And most importantly why couldn't i...SHE escape sooner''
The older sister giggles before nodding . " That is a very good question. When i first banished her the night didn't have any stars.Do you wanna know why there are so many now? Well for every night since you were gone I had put my hopes to resee you out there in the night. For every dream about our reunion i had, a new star was formed. . The stars gave me hope Luna. An unseen promise of happines and joy in every single one of them.''
The moon princess looked at the stars as her sister spoke, admiring ( for once) their glow and power.
'' My wish came true. You are here with me aren't you? It is now your turn to share with the sky your aspirations and maybe they wil come true...Now come along it's late and you are still very tierd let's go back to sleep'' Celestia said as she exited the balcony and sat on the bed waiting patiently for her sister to join her.
Luna looked at the sky one last time before turning around and joining her sister, snuggling her just like when she was a filly.
"Celestial...may I ask you something?"
"Anything my dear " the sun princess says, resting her head on top of Luna.
"Di-Did you believed that I actually turned to darkness. That I forgot everything you taught me.."
An awkward silence staied in the air for a little bit before Celestia finally answered.
"I wanted to say Yes at first but...No inside the turquise eyes of Nightmare Moon I saw the presance of my little sister. Banishing you to the moon was the hardest thing i have ever done. I believe you are the one that has to forgive me... Now Luna please...you really need some sleep."
"Wait..one last question...please.."
"Alright you silly filly but this is the last one.."
"Of course...Do i ..do I still look like her..?"
"Oh Luna.."the sun princess says combing through Luna's mane with her hoof while she sighs. " No of course not. You might have the same blue mane with a thousand stars in night that flows beautifully behind you, your fur is not dark but a blue midnight shade that resembles the sky and your blue eyes. Your eyes are your most beautiful part. The show your past, how you were hurt , what you endured... Your eyes are like a book all alone while her eyes where full of hatred and destruction. Plus you are a princess and I know that you will do anything to protect your subjects. Now...(Celestial said while stifling a yawn with her hoof) I really need to sleep..You might want to try as well".
" Very well then I shall try."
She settled more comfortably beside her sister's warm body resting her worn out body. Before sleep took over she decided to make a wish to the never fading stars. Smiling at her decision she falls asleep with a faint murmur..
'' Thank you...Tia''
Somewhere above the two sisters a new stars was born. One glowng stronger than all the others. One promising a better future. One promising a strong relationship between the two rulers...

Soo yeahh....First fiction
. I don't know what to say about it other than to maybe...just i don't know maybe enjoy it????
. Also let me know about the mistakes and maybe give me some ideas for a future fiction.
