He was looking for somepony to steal the soul from, and create an ultimate dark version of them. He knew about Midnight; part Changeling, part unicorn, she had foiled all of his plans so far. But not this time. "Who shall it be?" The dragon wondered, "Discord... I would love to have fun with him! But what about Twilight? That would piss her off, and I would have an Alicorn servant! Ooooh, the choices!" He pondered on, before noticing Freddy Fazpony's pizzeria. He knew a lot about this place. "Oooh... Perfect!" The dragon smiled, and lifted his claws. His claws were blue, the same shade as his horns, but on one paw they were slightly bigger and a dark shade of purpely-blue. These claws gave him his name; Shadowclaw. He used the magic in these claws to corrupt and control the good-hearted and turn their spirits into dark creatures. His claws glowed, and the room went dark. Midnight read the newspaper, picking out interesting bits and reading them. She was in one of the guest rooms in Twilight's castle, her current place she stayed in. There was a house for sale near Vinyl and Octavia's, but Midnight would need some bits. She wasn't bothered by Vinyl DJ-ing every early morning, because she was a bit of a DJ herself. She stared at an article, it read: Freddy Fazpony's Pizzeria Grand Re-opening! The old, abandoned Freddy Fazpony's Pizza is returning from a ten year shut down, with more anamatronics, jobs and shows! Midnight skipped ahead. Security Guard jobs- employing now! Ever wanted to be a security guard? Now's your chance! Minimum wage of 100 Bits. "100 Bits? That's enough for me." Midnight was soon out the door and heading strait for Freddy Fazpony's. It all started a week ago, when Pinkie Pie went missing that the strange things started to happen. Pinkie Pie returned from being missing, but she stayed in the abandoned Freddy Fazpony's Pizzeria for around two hours, her friends knocked on the door every couple of minutes, but there was no answer. Strangely, the pizza restaurant re-opened a week later. "Maybe Pinkie fixed it up?" Applejack had suggested. Well, whatever happened, Midnight was going to work there, she needed a couple bits to pay her bills. "If Pinkie fixed this up, then amazing job!" Midnight said to Rainbow Dash on her way there, Derpy Hooves eating an ice cream covered muffin with extra chocolate chips nodded in agreement beside her. Going past the Sugar Sweet Cafe, Midnight decided to get a drink. "Hey Berry!" Midnight yelled to Berry Punch as she trotted through the door, who was giving Lemon Hearts and Bon Bon a sweet, fruity slushy, Midnight's favorite flavor, "I'll have some slushie please. RD, what do you want?" Midnight asked. "A cupcake will do, i'm not that hungry." "Derpy?" "I'm still eating this muffin." She murmured, just as her muffin fell from her hooves onto the floor. "Ooops, my bad! I guess I'll have another muffin, then." "When is that night guard coming?" A bear-pony hybrid anamatronic glared at the shadowy figure behind him on the stage, hoping it would say 'now'. "Soon, very soon...." The shadow giggled, then it turned to ghostly laughter. The fox-pony hybrid peeked out through the purple curtains of Pirate's Cove, wondering what this new, dark pink anamatronic thing was thinking. "You." The shadow glanced at the fox-pony, "Go and see if the pony is here, and be sure to lock the doors!" The fox-pony had no idea if he should listen or not. Freddy was boss around here, but even he was following commands from the shadow pony. He reluctantly followed the orders, and went to the entrance. "So here we are." Midnight glanced around. Did something just move? She thought. "Well, I gotta go and move some clouds, so I better go. see ya later!" Rainbow Dash casually announced... but it was too late. The door slammed shut. "Hey! What's the big idea?" She yelped, shoving the door. "uh oh." Midnight tried to say through her fears. Midnight shivered, the cold air flowing through her mane. Tonight, instead of a cloud bed (or normal bed, in Midnight's case) the three mares would be sleeping in a security room, 'if we don't die first' Midnight thought. She shrugged it away, but it clung in her head like her cutie mark clung on her flank-unless you happen to meet Starlight Glimmer down a dark alley. "What was that?" Derpy asked, nervously shaking in fear, and probably cold too. "Prob- probably a mouse" Rainbow Dash Shivered, she was trying to cover the fact that she was terrified, but it wasn't working. The mares huddled together, not knowing what was in store for them. All they could hear was the ghostly laughter of something, or somepony, down the hall, around two meters away... Without thinking, all three ponies ran or flew down a corridoor and strainght into the security room, closing both doors behind them. A call had been recorded on a recorder in the corner of the room ( there are not phones in equestria ) Midnight played it "HELLO? HELLO? HELLLLLLLOOOOO? Oh, hi! Welcome to your new job at Freddy Fazpony's, have fun and conserve power. Alright, goodnight." The call ended. "WHAT? He didn't tell us anything!" Rainbow Dash yelped, clearly thinking that knowing nothing meant there were things in this place no pony knew about... But soon, as nothing seemed to be happening with the doors open, the three mares calmed down, and settled down for the most unexpected night of their lives...  Maybe even the last...
