Feeling not-so Pinkie-Keen
Ding-Ding.
A poof of pink hair with a fairly tall 24 year-old female attached to it jumped out from under the counter at Sugarcube Corner. The woman was wearing a pink skirt with three balloons on the right side of it, and a white t-shirt with a big pink heart in the center of it. She had the biggest smile anyone had ever seen.
"Hi and welcome to... TWILIGHT!" She jumped up from behind the counter in an non-human like manner and ran to her in the middle of the air as her feet somehow formed what resembled wheels. "Oh it's good to see you Twilight."
"It's good to see you to Pinkie." Pulling herself from Pinkie's hug, she was surprised to see Pinkie was crying. "What's wrong Pinkie?"
"It's just been so long. We hardly see you anymore." Perking right up, Pinkie couldn't help but smile. "We need to throw a party." Not that she needed a reason to throw a party, Pinkie found it easier to throw one when she had a reason.
"That'd be lovely Pinkie, but I..."
"It could be bigger then your welcome party."
"Pinkie."
"But how could I top that. Maybe if I had more party-cannons."
"Pinkie."
"That would be GREAT! If I could only get a giant balloon now."
"PINKIE!" Snapping her pink-haired friend out of her party-planning trance, Twilight shook her head. "Thanks, but I'd rather we not have a party."
"WHY?" As Pinkie started to play twenty and more questions with Twilight, the door was opened harder then it should have been. The one opening it had blue spiky hair, a black jacket with a red and white stripe going through the center of it, a white shirt with a two toned blue shield behind a lightning bolt in front of it, and regular blue jeans with plain old shoes.
The sound of a balloon deflating filled the air as Pinkie's hair went straight.
"Oh. Him." Pinkie emphasized "him" through her clenched teeth.
"Yeah. Me." Flash looked around with a look of disgust as Pinkie's eyes formed actual daggers. "I still don't get why you hang out with these people."
"What do you mean by these people?"
"I mean I don't like any of you. You're all ... weird."
Pinkie reached into her skirt and pulled out a large butchers knife. "Let's see how weird I am." Holding it up above her head she ran towards him and swung with all her might. He moved fast enough to avoid being hacked to pieces. "I was thinking when I finish cutting you up, i could make cupcakes with your intestines. No one would eat them, but just seeing your hacked up body would be one of my many dreams come true." She walked closer to him with a sadistic smile until she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see a somber looking Twilight.
"Can I speak to you in private Pinkie?"
"Sure Twilight." Pinkie's hair went back to its normal poof at the thought of getting away from Flash, even if it was for a little while. The two of them walked to the back of the store. "So what did you want to..." Pinkie was interrupted by Twilight grabbing Pinkie into a hug that even she thought was tight. "Twilight what's wrong?"
Pulling away, Twilight wiped her eyes. "It's I'm just really happy to see you too Pinkie." Twilight looked at her with a worried face. "Why don't you like Flash any more? I thought you liked everyone Pinkie."
"I do, but I don't like those that hurt one of my best friends."
Twilight chuckled nervously at that response."He hasn't hurt me."
"Really? We all know that he has been hitting you."
"Was it that obvious?"
"Yeah. It kinda was Twilight." The two of them just stood there in awkward silence as they could hear Flash pacing back and forth outside. "We're all concerned for you Twilight. We care about you."
"I know, but what I wanted to tell you that after tonight, Flash and I are moving far away."
"WHAT!?" Pinkie jumped as she heard that. "Where are you going?"
""I don't know. He won't tell me. All he keeps saying is that I"ll never see any of you all again."
Pinkie looked at Twilight with her big blue eyes as tears started filling them. Twilight walked up to Pinkie and embraced her in a hug.
"Then why come?"
"That way you all can say good bye." Twilight turned and made her way to Flash who was tapping his foot, signaling he was ready to leave.
As soon as she walked up to him, he started speaking at her in a harsh voice.
"Let's fucking leave already. I think I'm actually getting diabetes from just standing in here."
Pinkie glared at him and reached down to grab a knife when she saw Twilight's face.
"You still love him?"
"Even after all the bruises he gave me. I still love him, and I will never stop loving him."
"Did you know that a bullet through his frontal lobe would actually fix him up?"
"Pinkie!"
Twilight turned to see him before looking at Pinkie again.
"I will see you all again. I don't know where, I don't know when, but I do know I will. I pinkie-promise."
Hearing that surprised her. Pinkie looked as if she had gone into shock. She couldn't hold her tears back anymore. "I'll see you later Twi."
The two hugged each other before they let go with tears in their eyes. Twilight turned to leave with Flash as gave the bakery a nasty look as they left. Pinkie let out a sigh as her phone started vibrating. She got a text from Applejack.
Maybe later. Why do I want to make blue cupcakes and throw them at the wall now?
