What does it mean to be a hero?

Is it someone who wears a cape, fights crime, and encapsulates the ideals of truth and justice? Perhaps it’s someone with the resilience to hold onto their morals in the face of a truly wicked opposition. Or could it be as mundane as holding fast to one’s humanity, and making it through this life without perpetuating the vileness that already inhabits the world?

One colt in the Marejave Wasteland will have to answer this question. Will he become a shining beacon of hope in the darkness, or will his sanity and compassion collapse when confronted with the true evil rampant throughout the Wasteland? A world with no gods, no messiahs, and no heroes.
