'I swear the next person that looks at me funny is getting flamed...this is the 3rd town I've passed through that looks at me like they know me or something. I'm not blind ponies.' Those were the thoughts of the clothed dragon that had just left Trottingham by train. Ignus sighed as he sat in his cart letting the train take him on from his travels/sojourn. He grabbed the map he got from the last town out of his bag and looked it over. His next stop was a place called ponyville. Maybe there he would find some peace....but from the rumors he heard about the place excitement all ways seems to happen every other week. He rubbed the back of his scaly head and sat back for the ride thinking about his plan. If this place fit his req's he could make a home for himself there. He nodded in determination as he went over what stuff he had.
He emptied his bag and counted out his supplies.
Bag of nearly 2000 bits.
Small bag of gems for snacks.

3 apples he got from a nice mare in Trottingham.
A necklace heirloom from his family. Just a simple gold chain with a round pendant in the center and a dragon symbol in the center. (he never wears it)
A potion of healing he picked up from an old zebra on his way.
And finally a welcome to Ponyville postcard that he found in Trottingham.
He nodded at his list and packed everything back up just as the train lurched to a halt. He looked up and saw the station. "Ponyville Stop. Make sure to grab your belongings on the way out." The conductors voice said throughout the cart. He must be having a long day cause it sounded tired and annoyed....oh right getting off. Ignus grabbed his bag and jumped off the train with a huff. He stood there as Ponies passed him heading toward the town and breathed in the fresh air. It smelled of apples and nature....wait apples? He looked down to see an orange mare that was passing by stopped in her tracks and staring at him. He blinked as she did the same before she spoke up. "Spike?" He voice had this southern twang to it but he ignored that little fact and decided to correct her.
"Uh no...don't know who that is. My name is Ignus. Who are you?" He asked the orange pony. He got a look at her cutie mark which depicted 3 apples on it. Maybe she was related to that one pony in Trottingham.
Applejack tilted her head slightly and walked over to Ignus looking him over. "Not every day a new dragon comes waltzing into town...and with such strange cloths. Names Applejack. I'm the owner of Sweet apple acres. One of the best apple farms this side of Equestria." She said taking his hand in her hoof and shaking it. Needless to say his scales were hard so he barely felt her strength in that shake. "Nice to meet you...i think i heard of sweet apple acres from back in Trottingham...Are you related to one Apple Fritter?" He asked.
"Ah you must have met my cousin. She has a store set up there. Nice to know there still kickin out there. So what brings you to our neck of the woods ignus." She asked.
The dragon thought for a moment before getting a good look around the place. He saw many ponies going about there day mostly ignoring them which was good. He nodded and turned to Applejack. "I'm looking for a home." He said with a smile.
"Well you came to the right place. You want a tour of the place? I can show you around....tho we may want to avoid a certain area for now if your just settling in." This confused Ignus as he tilted his head slightly.
"What do you mean?"
"Well a good friend of mine has it in her mind that every new pony or...being in your case deserve's one of her Signature welcome to ponyville parties...Her name is Pinkie pie. i would keep and eye out for her." She said with a look of confusion as if Pinkie would already be here for just that.
Ignus nodded that he was paying attention as she started to walked on toward ponyville. He follow behind easily enough. He had longer strides then ponies so his walked was like a quick trot to them. He was adjusting his gloves as Applejack pointed out certain locations in town and landmarks of certain events that will be happening in the next few days like the running of the leaves or nightmare night. He remembered his last nightmare night. He spent it at a small town called irkshire....yes it was actually called that, No one knows why. He had a lot of fun then. He was broken out of his reminiscing by a gasp behind them. He turned his head to see a purple unicorn there with a purple and green baby dragon riding on her back. "Spike?....i must be hallucinating cause....why do i see an older version of you?" The purple dragon just shrugged at her as Ignus just stood there confused.
Spike was looking Ignus over from his position on Twilights back and confused himself. Besides from the cloths he wore Ignus looked just like him except grown up in his teenage years. "Who are you?" Twilight asked in wonder.
"My name is Ignus. I'm new around here and I was looking to move in." He said with a smile. "May i ask your name?"
"Oh right I'm sorry. Its not often i see another dragon besides Spike here. My name is Twilight sparkle. I'm the personal student to Princess Celestia and one of the Elements of harmony. Magic." She said with a proud look on her face.
"Proud of your titles i see." Ignus said with a smirk as Twilights face went red and Spike just snickered. Even Applejack was trying not to laugh.
"Well i see you've already met Applejack. Has he met any of our other friends yet Applejack?" Twilight asked.
"Nope. Was about to introduce him...i think Rarity might like his cloth design. I know Fluttershy will like seeing a new dragon around and you know Pinkie. Rainbow....well you know her. She'll see him when she see's him." Applejack said. Ignus noticed a looked of worry cross Spike's face when Rarity's name was mention but ignored it for now. He stayed quiet during there conversation and gave a cough.
"Oh right well then we should get to it. Come on Spike we still have a meeting with the mayor. See yal later ignus....oh and Welcome to Ponyville." Twilight said as she started walking.
"Hey we should hang out some time. Names Spike by the way." Spike said as they walked on. Ignus nodded as Applejack waved him on to follow which he did but not before looking back at the town once more and smiled. "Yeh...i can get used to this." He said to himself as they headed to there next destination.
