A Feather And A Star
The Journey
Previous ChapterNext ChapterLillith, Nightstar and Luna walked to the courtyard where a massive blue chariot was waiting for two bat ponies to be harnessed. Lillith and Nightstar harnessed themselves to the chariot as Luna bid the bat ponies around her goodbye, promising Captain Starshine to stay safe. Luna then climbed the chariot, smiled and waved goodbye to the loving bat ponies below her as the chariot sped off into the sunset.
The cool night wind was blowing in her face as she shivered, noticed by Lillith.
"Luna, are you cold?" asked the young mare.
"Yes. The wind is harshly biting at my ankles though." replied Luna.
"Then tell the wind not to bite at your ankles, but to bite at your face," laughed Nightstar. Luna and Lillith just glared at him. "What? I was just trying to light up the moment."
"Baby you light my world like nobody else. The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed. But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell you don't know oh oh. You don't know you're beautiful." sang Luna as Lillith started laughing hysterically and Nightstar snorted in reply.
"Princess Luna, one of the reasons I love you as a friend is that you always have a song for the right situation. Am I right Nightstar?" announced Lillith as Nightstar snorted again while Luna jumped off the chariot and started flying along the two bat ponies.
"You know what I like about my bat ponies?" asked Luna.
"What?" inquired Lillith.
"That they are so cool with their leathery wings and their fangs?"asked Nightstar.
"No. That they can multitask like I can. Celestia and her guards can't multitask if their life depended on it." answered Luna.
"Sunbutt and her guards can't multitask?" questioned Nightstar as his eyes grew the size of apples.
"Pretty much." responded Luna.
"Well, ya learn something new everyday." piped Lillith.
The rest of the trip Luna, Lillith and Nightstar talked for a little while before reaching their final destination: Griffonia.
