Katydid is an adviser to Queen Chrysalis. Katydid conducts research to find a way for the changelings to live peacefully, or an alternate source of nutrition. Her research has lead her to move to Ponyville to try to live, hidden, amongst the ponies. She will struggle to stay hidden, make allies, and report back to Queen Chrysalis.
