It's not uncommon for a pony to make a promise, only to end up breaking it later. Things happen and ponies change – at least, that's the excuse most use. So what assurance is there in the vows we take if, in the end, we fail to uphold them?

Hope Constance has silently wrestled with this question for some time now. Living a comfortable life in the heart of Manehattan with two long-time companions and his marefriend, few stallions would ask for more in life. But the pangs of a broken promise push him to seek a change in his life. With little holding him back in the city where his most precious vow was shattered, Hope prepares to embark on a life all his own.
