It was an afternoon as most of the humans and ponies were just enjoying the day as it goes by, all but one human who was having a tough time with a little game called soccer.
“Heads up dude!” Rainbow Dash shouted as she ran towards Johnny’s field goal with the soccer ball in front of her.
Johnny ran over to his field goal before Rainbow Dash could shoot the ball into the net, Johnny knew that Rainbow Dash was a fast pony but he got ready as she came running kicking the ball in front of her.
Rainbow dash made her way as Johnny got ready to try and stop the ball, of course he knew that he wouldn’t catch it in time cause of Rainbow Dash’s speed but he got ready anyways.
“Here It comes!”As Rainbow Dash kick the soccer ball with all her might Johnny could see that the ball aiming straight at him, he didn’t move out it’s way for he had to stop it from hitting the net. The ball came soaring in the air as Johnny caught it but the speed and impact caused him to fall back at the net.
“Ah!!” Johnny screamed as he fell back and hit the net.
“Yes! 20-15 game point!!” Rainbow Dash said as she jump in the air in victory while Johnny just regain shook it head to shake off the dizziness, all though he knew that he caught the ball before it hit the net but he didn’t saying anything for he knew Rainbow Dash would have a fit about it.
Johnny got up with the ball in his hands and walked over to her “Hey...Great game..Dash,” he said to Rainbow Dash who was still excited on winning the game, “Hey, could we..Take a break?” Johnny ask her as he drop the ball and sat down on the grass just breathing and puffing.
Rainbow Dash turned around to look at Johnny who was sitting on the ground catching his breath, “Yeah, a 5 minute break does look good right about now,” she said as she sat down right in front of Johnny for she was trying to catch her breath as well.
(Five Months Earlier)
Johnny and Rainbow Dash have been friends ever since they first met, Johnny was new to PonyVille when he moved here. At first when Johnny saw the town and all the ponies he wasn’t sure if living here was a good idea but that change when a speedy pegasus flew right past which made him spin with a top.
Johnny fell on the ground with a thud as his head began spinning in dizziness, the pegasus came flying back to see if he was okay.
“Hey dude, sorry about that. I didn’t see you there,” The pegasus said as she place her hand in front of Johnny to him up.
Johnny’s eyes finally stop spinning as he got a good look at the pony in front of him, the pegasus was light blue with rainbow colored mane and tail. Johnny had never seen a pony like this before. (Or any flying ponies before for that mattered)
“You ok dude?” The pegasus ask as Johnny gave her his full attention.
“Um, yeah I’m fine. But man that was fast,” he said as he rub his head.
The pegasus just chuckled a little, “Listen I’m sorry about flying past you like that, really I didn’t see you there,” she told him for she looked a little guilty for doing that.
Johnny saw the look on her face but knew she didn’t mean to, “No no, it’s okay! I was in the way anyways, so don’t worry about it,” He said trying to make her feel better.
The pegasus looked at him as if she was expecting him, “You’re new here right?” she asked him for she pointed a finger at Johnny’s suitcase.
“Y-Yeah! I just got here today, since my hometown wasn’t working out for me I came here...Hoping to build a new life..” Johnny said trying not to sound dumb.
The pegasus figured that Johnny was new in town since she had never seen him before, “Hey, why don’t I show you around and help you find a place to stay? You could say this is my way of saying sorry for earlier,” she said as wrap an arm around Johnny’s left shoulder with a smile on her face.
Johnny didn’t want to be rude plus he barely knew anything about PonyVille so he agreed to the pegasus’s kind offer.
“By the way, the name’s Rainbow Dash,” Rainbow Dash told Johnny who grabbed him suitcase.
(Five Months Later)
Ever since that day happen, Johnny and Rainbow Dash had become great friends over the few months.
As the two friends sat there on the soccer field catching their breaths Rainbow Dash looked up at Johnny who sat without a word to say for he just as tired as she was.
“Hey,” Rainbow Dash called to Johnny who lifted his head to look at her. “I didn’t really make that shot, did I?” Johnny was surprise that she would ask that, but he did knew what really happen earlier.
“Well Dash,” Johnny started with a breath of air, “To be honest, I actually caught the ball in my hands before it push me back against the net, sorry..” Johnny told her as Rainbow Dash just sighed a little. “But hey, nice shot though,” he said trying to make her feel better.
“Did it hit you hard?” Rainbow Dash asked as she look at him to see if he was hurt anywhere.
“Nah. I’m fine,” he told her as he just breathe for moment.
Johnny remembered the other times when Rainbow Dash does some tricks that sometimes would hurt him, only when he was close to it or when it aim for him. But he knew that Rainbow Dash would never try to hurt him on purpose.
He didn’t want rainbow Dash to worry too much so he put on a smile on his face and looked at her, “Dash it’s okay, really! Look I’m fine,” he open his arms out in the air showing her just how okay he looked.
“Well, if you are hurt...I’m sorry,” she said as she sat there and caught her breath.
As Johnny’s arms drop back down he couldn’t help but stare at her, he had to admit that Rainbow Dash did looked pretty. Even though she acts more like a guy still he couldn’t help but look at her.
Her light blue skin, her colorful mane, even her eyes. At first Johnny thought he might have a crush on Rainbow Dash when he first met her, even if he tried to shake the idea from his head the answer was right in front of him. He turned his head away from her not wanting to show any signs of him staring at her.
Rainbow Dash looked at Johnny for a moment and saw him looking around the field, whenever Johnny acted more like a cool, caring and understanding kind of person instead of a jerk, she thought that he was pretty cool to hang out with. although she did had a soft spot for him she couldn’t help but look at him.
Johnny was the only human she hung out with the most, not just because of meeting him for the first time but whenever she wanted somepony or someone to hang out with, Johnny was kind enough to spend time with her.
That’s when she began to realize that she has a crush on him, she didn’t think it was a lie for it was all too true. Johnny was the only human that she wanted to spend time with the most, even if it means that she likes him more than just a friend.
(A Few Days Before)
Rainbow Dash was lay against a tree staying cool under the nice shade over at Applejack’s farm.
“Excuse me Rainbow,” Rainbow Dash looked up and saw Applejack standing next to her with a basket in her arms. “If you don’t mind, I need to get these apples from this here tree, please?” She said a stern look on her face.
Rainbow Dash just stood up and walked away from the tree without a word, “What’s with the attitude? I thought you’d be busy today,” Applejack ask as she place the basket next to the tree and began her work. Rainbow Dash remain silent as she stood out in the sun with a mean look on her face. “Come on Rainbow, y’all might as well tell me what’s bugging ya,”
“Sigh, I was gonna ask Johnny if he wanted to hang at the basketball court with me. But he couldn’t cause he had to work today,” Rainbow Dash groan as she spoke.
“Well you can’t be mad at him,” Applejack told her. “A Lot of us has to work in order to earn money. And believe me Rainbow, making money isn’t easy as making Apple Pie,” she began to chuckle to herself.
Rainbow Dash just stayed silent as she grumbled to herself, “Say, can I ask you something? between the two of us,” Applejack turn to face Rainbow Dash who just stared at her and waited for the question. “You know, I’ve notice that you’ve been hanging with that new human boy for quite a while now,”
“So?”
“Well it’s none of my business but...I get that feeling that there something happening between you two,”
Rainbow Dash just stood there looking at Applejack with a “What?” on her face.
“Look, I’m saying that you might like him a lot more than a friend,”
Rainbow Dash soon flinch when she heard that, “WHAT!!” she shouted. “What are you talking about?! I just...Want him to...Get to know PonyVille that’s all,” She turned her head away from Applejack for she proved her point.
Applejack knew that Rainbow Dash was faking it, “Get to know PonyVille huh?” she said looking at Rainbow Dash with a smile and an raised up eyebrow. “Okay, so when was the last you showed another human around town?”
Rainbow Dash thought that Applejack was testing her to see how she would react, but she didn’t fall for it. “Look, I can assure you that there is nothing going on between me and Johnny,”
“Oh come on girl, if you like someone then you don’t have to hide it,” Applejack was trying to reason with Rainbow Dash but she wouldn’t look at her.
Rainbow Dash stood there for a moment until she felt the sun beginning to make her sweat, she walked over to the tree hide herself in the shade. She looked at Applejack who was still waiting for her to said something, even Rainbow Dash had to get something off her chest.
“Well….I can’t really say if it’s a crush or anything,” Rainbow Dash started to look down at her feet for she was a bit embarrassed to look at Applejack.
Applejack knew that Rainbow Dash mean well and she didn’t want to make her feel bad, “Don’t worry, I won’t tell anypony. or any human for that matter,” she with a smile trying to cheer her friend up.
“You must really like this boy, don’t cha?” Rainbow Dash finally raised her head to look at Applejack, and she did had a feeling that one of her friends would get suspicious.
“Yeah,” she with a sigh. “Since we started hanging out and I’ve gotten to know him...I guess I really liked hanging with Johnny. But...I don’t know how he feels about this?” Rainbow Dash began rubbing her arm for she could barely speak about in front of Applejack.
“Sounds to me like he understands ya,” Applejack said with a chuckle. “Well, I don’t much about the human. But I’m pretty sure he likes you just the same way,”
“You think so…?” Rainbow Dash ask cheering up a little.
“Well yeah, I mean he doesn’t mind spending time with you. Now that sounds like he thinks ya pretty special to him,” Applejack pick up two apples as she handed one to Rainbow Dash and took a bit out her own.
Rainbow Dash just stayed silently as she stared at the apple in her hand. Applejack was right, if Johnny doesn’t mind hanging with her, then he must really like her too.
She took a bite at the apple and turn to Applejack, “So? When are you gonna that special somepony?”
Applejack stop eating for moment just look at Rainbow Dash, “Very funny. Just eat your apple,” she said to Rainbow Dash which made her bust out laughing
(A Few days later)
As both Rainbow Dash and Johnny sat there on the grass a few minutes had past. Rainbow Dash wanted to tell him but just couldn’t strike up the courage to say it.
She looked down at the soccer ball in the middle between them, that’s when an idea pop into Rainbow Dash’s brain.
Without saying anything or without Johnny noticing what she was up to, she moved her left foot on the ball and roll’d her foot on it until her foot slipped and landed onto Johnny pants. He felt the sudden touch and looked down at Rainbow Dash’s foot placed on top of his pants.
“H-hey!” Johnny protested by Rainbow Dash’s foot. “What’s the big idea?” he asked looking at Rainbow Dash who chuckled to herself.
“Whoops, sorry about that,” she said as she removed her foot off of him. Rainbow Dash just smiled at him as Johnny just looked up at the sky to see just late it was.
As Johnny kept his eyes up high, Rainbow Dash slip off her right shoe and instead of touching the ball this time she placed it on Johnny pants again on purpose as she began to rub it up and down.
Johnny knew it was Rainbow Dash’s foot again and was about to say something as he turned his attention towards Rainbow Dash’s foot rubbing against his pants. “Um…” he said at last, “Why is your shoe off this t---”

Rainbow Dash looked around the field and saw that no pony or human was around watching them, but she knew that Johnny was just wanted to protect her. “Yeah, I guess it would lame if somebody came around saw us like this.” she removed her foot off of him as Johnny just sigh a breath of air thinking he was in the clear, but Rainbow Dash just stand up and pick the ball up as she reach her out to Johnny who looked at her with a questionable face.
“Then why don’t we do this someplace more private?” Johnny gulped when he heard those words, was Rainbow Dash really serious about this? “Come on, up you go,”
Johnny was pulled up to his feet by Rainbow Dash’s strong strength as she grab her shoe and pulled Johnny behind her as they both walked over to the bench.
She threw the ball over to the bench and pulled Johnny behind the stands as she turn to face him and stare at him for a moment.
“Uh Dash?” Johnny spoke as Rainbow Dash looked up at him with both eyes, he couldn’t help but to look at those pretty eyes of hers. “I uh...I didn’t think you liked...Me..That way,”
Rainbow Dash saw that Johnny sound a bit shy and little bit scared, “Well...You know we’ve been hang with each other a lot..” Johnny nodded as Rainbow Dash turn her head away from as she placed her arms on his chest.
Johnny started to realize that Rainbow Dash had a crush on him just like he had a crush on her, at first he was very surprise by Rainbow Dash’s sudden touch and reaction but he wrap his arms around her and pulled her into him as to hug her.
“Dash…” Rainbow Dash looked at him with her face brushing, “Since I first met you, and after you started to hang out with..I had this feeling that...maybe you’d really liked me,” he said as best as he could which made Rainbow Dash wrap her arms around his neck.
“Funny…” she chuckled a little, “I kind of...Had the same feeling about you…” Rainbow Dash sound embarrass as she spoke but Johnny understood how she felt. “At first I thought it was nothing but….I just didn’t want to believe it…”
Rainbow Dash just stare down at Johnny’s chest as she stay silent, “Hey, I get it. We both just didn’t understand what it was but, what matters to me is that..I love you,” Rainbow Dash’s head rose up when she heard those three words, she couldn't believe that he would actually say those words to her or the fact that Applejack was right about him.
Without saying anything Rainbow Dash moved up close and kissed Johnny as her lips pressed against his, she hold her grip around his neck as Johnny held his own grip around her back.
They broke the kiss and stare at each other as they both breathe for air, “Wow!” Johnny spoke first, “What a kiss!” Rainbow Dash just smiled and giggled.

“Then, why don’t we continue this at your place?” Johnny was shocked when he heard that. “I would invite you to place but...I don’t think humans can walk on clouds,” Rainbow Dash chuckled a little as Johnny just scratch his head again.
Just before he could say another thing Rainbow Dash grab a hold his arm without a warning they both flew off in a speed of light.
A few minutes they arrive to Johnny’s house as they both land on ground. Johnny didn’t look so good when the fast ride was over, “Hey, you okay dude?” Rainbow Dash looked worried as she checked him to make sure he was okay.
“Yep…” he said at last, Just not use to the whole….Fast flying thing…” Johnny looked at if he was gonna fall, but he kept his focus on the door as he unlocked it and both him and Rainbow Dash went inside.
Rainbow Dash helped Johnny into his bedroom as she closed the door behind them, Johnny finally regain his balance as his dizziness cooled down. He turned around to look at Rainbow Dash who just stood there by the door, “Something wrong?” he ask as he walked over to her.
“Yeah…” Rainbow Dash didn’t look at him, Johnny had a feeling that Rainbow Dash wasn’t sure about this whole thing but he didn’t want Rainbow Dash to regret doing all this and feel bad about it.
So without a word he reached out picked Rainbow Dash up and held her from under her legs, she gasp by the sudden move he made and quickly wrap her arms around his neck.
Johnny just smiled as he stared at her, “Come on..” he said in a soft voice, “Let me see those gorgeous eyes of yours,” Rainbow Dash was surprise that he talked to her like that but she did as he ask and looked at him with both eyes which of course made her smile.
Rainbow Dash giggled a little as Johnny rest his forehead against hers, “Dash,” Rainbow Dash looked at him with attention, “You don’t have to be afraid, I’ll take care of you,” he told her as Rainbow Dash looked deep into his eyes and moved in for a passionate kiss.
As Johnny held her in his arms he carried her over to the bed as they kept kissing. Rainbow Dash broke the kiss and looked at him for moment, “Since when did you become Romeo?” she asked Johnny who just laugh a little.

Johnny only smiled as he walked to work as the rainbow shined over PonyVille.
