Chapters A Hellish Kind of Harmony
Principal Celestia stood at the reception desk at the museum. It was a warm spring day, the students were off on break and were working part time at their jobs.
“I’d like to schedule a field trip. 30 young adults and three chaperons.”
The woman at the desk nodded, “Yes ma'am I'll prepared the papers for you to mail into us within a week or else you'll have to return here.” Celestia felt her body groggily ache. She had a pounding headache and just wanted to leave.
She looked at the girl, “If I fill them out here would I have to mail them?”
The woman smiled, “Of course not ma'am!”
She smiled exasperatedly, “Then I'll just fill them out here.” The woman nodded and passed Celestia the packet of papers. She grabbed it and walked over to a bench and pulled a pen out of her hair. She moved her cool hands through her hair in an attempt to calm herself down. She sighed, she really needed something l aspirin.
A dinky old school bus rattled down the street which was more brown than yellow. It had a few rusty spots on either side of the large vehicle. The male teacher and the students happily sang the wheels on the bus. He laughed as did the small kids did. One little girl tugged on his sweater.
“Are we almost there Mr. Discord?” He grinned and picked her up. She looked into his bright eyes and laughed. Yelling happily as he swooshed her through the air.
“We’re here silly!” He put her down, “Who wants to follow Mr. Discord into the museum?” All the small children waved their little arms. He grabbed a child’s hand, and all the children linked arms, “Then let’s go!” He looked at the bus driver and smiled with relief. “Thanks Big Macintosh!” He said loud enough so the children would repeat after him, and they did so.
Big Macintosh smiled and tipped his hat, “Ahyep.” Discord put on his long coat and zipped it up. They all walked down the bus stairs and into the museum without incident. All the children looked up at their teacher. He had a gray complexion and a prosthetic arm. The other arm was slightly smaller, but still stronger than the fake one. His hair was a very light tint of grey, it was nearly white; it was nearly white with black roots; it was wavy on one side while the other was combed relatively neatly. He wore a brown top and his long coat was also a light brown. He wore magenta plus size skinny jeans that fit loosely on him like regular jeans.
He looked down at the kids, “Let’s go to the big bad bins!” The kids laughed gleefully and they all threw their bags in a big yellow bin marked Mr. Discord. “All your parents know to pick up?”
The kids spoke aloud, “At five o’clock.” Discord smiled, he loved this. He loved all these kids and he would never do anything to ruin this.
“Who wants to get some food?” The kids all nodded and a few called out yeah. Discord opened his arms up, “Then come with me!” A few kids hopped into his arms. He caught those few kids and rest latched onto his legs. Discord laughed and made a loud monster noise as he made his way down the museum halls. God these kids were heavy. He limped down the halls and looked for a good place to get some food where they could all be comfortably. He looked into a MacRonalds, it had a small play place. He smiled, that could probably fit them all. He looked over at a woman with multicolored hair working on some papers. She looked slightly frustrated “Celestia?” The woman sat up straighter and looked around. He puckered his lips. Crap! She heard him. She looked over at him and they had made eye contact for a second. Her mauve eyes made Discord’s smile falter. He swiftly got his momentum back.
Discord made a loud pained noise “Uhhh! Nooo!” He said and dramatically fell on the ground. Many of the kids crawled up to Discord’s face.
“Mr. Discord!” They laughed and teased.
He pretended to be shocked, “Look a play place!” All the kids looked inside and ran in giggling and cooing in excitement. Discord lie on the ground for a moment then he began to work to prop himself on a wall. He grabbed his knees and pushed up. He fixed his hair and looked over at the woman walking over to him. Her heels clicked against the tiles.
Discord looked at the woman, “Discord?”
He looked at her and smiled, “Ah, hello Ms. Celestia.”
She looked at him and then inside the MacRonalds, “Who, who are those kids?”
He looked inside, “Them? They're my kindergarten class.” He waved at the kids and they all waved at him. He looked at Vinyl standing behind the counter. “One second Tia.” Discord reached into his pocket and pulled out a Benjamin to flash at the clerk. Vinyl nodded, seeming pleased beneath those dark shades. She began taking orders from the kids.
Celestia looked at Discord in disbelief, “Wow.”
He blinked and looked at her, “What?” Discord ran his hands over his face.
Celestia had a large smile on her face that filled her thin lips, “I just. I never thought that you would go into education.”
Discord smiled, “Well, you had a big influence on me back then. I even beat my addiction.”
She smiled, “Discord, I'm so proud of you.”
He laughed, “Thanks it was a very rough time for me.” Discord looked at her. “It was a very rough time to be alone.”
Celestia looked at him, “You look wonderful Discord." She said filled with pride.
He laughed, “Really?” He grabbed his right arm and twisted. He heard the three clicks of the metal seals. Discord smiled, it was time for his show. The clicks set the stage. He then pulled his arm out of his sleeve, “Well if you need a hand, I'm your guy.” Celestia covered her mouth. Discord laughed aloud and hit his knee with the false extremity.
She pointed at the arm, “That’s just one of your magic tricks right.” He smiled and tied his coat around his waist and rolled up his sleeve.
“Nope! I gave everything I had to the drug.” He laughed, “After you,” he paused and looked at her. He had played this out over and over in his head. All the different ways she would react to know this was her fault, he always hoped for the big dramatic brawl but she just looked at him with pity. The extravagant lights became two spotlights. He stopped his little scene and put his prosthetic arm back on and rolled back down his sleeve. “After you left I, I thought I was going to die. I decided to go out with a bang.” He opened and closed his hand. “That was about the time I knew I was an addict. That’s the first step to get out of it right?”
She looked at him, “Discord, I had no idea. You've come so far.”
He smiled, “I wouldn't have gotten this far without one of your students.”
She tilted her head, “Who?”
“The young Fluttershy. She and I have been very close ever since you sent her to do community service that ‘doesn't involve creatures that you can adopt and own.’”
Celestia laughed and they said simultaneously, “And no Fluttershy you can’t work at the zoo.” The two laughed together.
Discord smiled brightly, “Why don’t we finish those field trip forms over some MacRonalds?”
She looked at the papers in her hand, “You know what, I think I will.”
He reached into his pocket, “And here,” He pulled some aspirin out of his pocket, “so you can stop having headache voice.”
She glared at him, “I do not!” He laughed and crouched his back.
“Uh... Discord?” He said with squinted eyes.
She covered her mouth and snorted, “I do not sound like that!” The two walked into the MacRonalds. Discord went up to the counter to pay for all the kids as they all jumped at his legs. Celestia laughed at the sight. She always knew Discord could change, she just never expected him to actually do it. He was the same goofy Discord she had always known but this was the Discord she always dreamed he’d be. Celestia walked, sat in a booth and began to work on the papers intently. She had a much better attitude about doing these papers. After all the kids ate and took to the play place Discord sat with her.
“For the lady a strawberry milk.” He placed it in front of her and she looked at it. “And for the gentleman a chocolate!” She smiled and opened her milk. She took a sip from the small bendy straw and continued to work. He looked at her working intently, he rolled his eyes and looked at the bendy straw in his milk. He blew a single bubble in his chocolate milk and pitifully attempted to contain a laugh.
Celestia looked at him and sighed, “Really Discord?”
He held up his hands, “You’re right I’m sorry.” He said and just sipped at his chocolate milk. Celestia looked at him and she smiled, Celestia then proceeded to blow a bubble in her strawberry milk. Discord looked at her and blew more bubbles in his chocolate milk. She continued to do so as well. The two glared at each other playfully as they blew bubbles against each other. Celestia stopped blowing bubbles looking at her froth of bubbles and snickered aloud. Discord laughed along with her, “Celestia?”
She looked at him happily, “What?”
Discord grinned, “I think for just one day we should have chocolate milk rain from the skies! Out of cotton candy clouds!”
Celestia laughed, “Yeah?”
He nodded childishly, “I know it probably wouldn't be healthy for the earth but think how happy people would be!”
Celestia smiled, “You’d need someone to make sure that it didn't last forever.”
He smiled, “As long as I had one day me to make people laugh and happy and see them smile! Uh, then I could die happy!”
Celestia laughed, “Is that why you teach at this level? So everything you do?”
Discord nodded, “Light ‘em up like Jack-o-lanterns.”
She grinned, “I think a few of them are coming for you.”
Discord looked at a group of kids and got up, “Ready head out scamps?” He asked bending down to their level.
The four smiled and nodded, “Yes Mr. Discord!”
“You want us to round up all our classmates?”
He smiled, “That would be great!” He said and jumped up. The kids did the same. “High, responsibility, fives?” They all gave him a high five and ran into the playroom. Discord looked at Celestia, “I'm afraid I must go but hey, if you'd like do this again call me!” He put a business card on the table. He looked at her and picked up his chocolate milk, “Time me!”
She shook her head, “1, 2, 3” He chugged the milk quickly. He wiped his mouth and put the carton on the table as Celestia said, “6.” She looked at him, “You sir are a chocolate milk machine!”
He smiled, “And that’s not even my record!” He said and held a little girl’s hand. “Lock hands!” The kids did so and he grinned. He kissed Celestia’s nose and walked out with all the kids. Celestia looked at Discord and laughed as all the kids obediently followed him. She would definitely be calling his number. He walked through the museum with the rowdy kids. The kids looked at a few pieces of modern art and walked past a huge T-Rex. They all made it inside the section about Africa. Discord stood back and let the kids admire the exhibit.
He saw a man in a dark grey hoodie come up behind him, “Discord?” The man asked.
Discord turned around, “Oh. Hello, can I help you?” Discord’s voice shook at the other man’s presence. Discord saw the hunched man stand up straight. The man moved his hood back and looked at him with dark purple sunglasses. He had a maroon complexion a long tuft of white hair reaching his back and a small white beard. The hair on the sides of his head was jet black and his large gages hung low near his cheekbones.
“I can help you if you need a filler.”
Discord looked at him, "Tirek."

A Hellish Kind of Harmony
Tirek’s thick lips curled into a satisfied smile.
“Discordant Harmony, it’s been far too long. What are we not good enough for you anymore?”
Discord backed away from him, “Tirek, I-I know that we haven't seen each other in a long time b-but there is good reason for that you see...” Discord put himself up against the wall accidentally. Discord made an attempt to move forward when Tirek put his hand on the wall over Discord’s head.
Discord flinched, “I'm listening.” Tirek wasn't much taller than Discord but he was much bigger. Discord looked up at his strong hand. Tirek hid his eyes under purple tinted shades in public. Spiked accessories and a spiked belt would make him stand out in a crowd. He was wearing his dark grey hoodie over them now. Discord looked up at the larger male with complete enmity.
“You-you see.” He said his words coming out gawky. Back when he was an addict Tirek was a well known dealer and crime lord. Many of his memories of people he met during that time were, hazy, to say the least but Tirek was not one of those people. Tirek was very... he came on strong to Discord the only difference was back then Tirek was his sadistic lover not his biggest fear. Discord was terrified of this man. No, not of Tirek. Discord was terrified of how he could control him. That he could ever forfeit that kind of control to anyone again.
Tirek let out a low chuckle and said, “You know Discord, I just attended a viewing of this really bad movie about an ex-drug addict who met the ex-love of his life. They had a playful afternoon but the moment he left her he met his old lover.” Tirek moved closer to Discord, “And his old lover told him, he was just as cute as he remembered. The rest became history.” Tirek bit Discord’s ear lobe, he yelped out in pain as a scarlet blush filled his face. Why did it have to be public?! Tirek grinned, “Were your ears sensitive? I’m sorry.” He licked the shell of Discord’s ear making him shiver. “I didn't remember.” He whispered with a knowing leer. This warmth, this feeling of losing control. Discord felt as though he could melt into Tirek.
Discord used his arm to try and push him away but Tirek grabbed it tightly, “Tirek. Get away from me now.” Discord hissed. Tirek looked at Discord, making sure to take every piece of body language into account. Discord could almost hear Tirek pull him into a trap.
“Is that what you want?” Discord looked at the man who, underneath his glasses, was sincere. Discord knew his choice in one word would either make Tirek disappear or assure him to stay.
Discord closed his eyes, “I-I don’t know.”
Tirek moved closer to Discord and barely murmured, “It’s your choice Discord.” The larger man leaned against Discord and put his hand on Discord’s chest. He gasped aloud and looked at the kids still distracted by the exhibit. If they saw this... Discord closed his eyes and turned his head away from the larger male.
“Tirek, p-”
Tirek moved away and coldly smirked, “P-P-P?”
Discord looked at him, “Please, my kids.” He pleaded in embarrassment.
Tirek grinned, “Ah yes.” He looked at them, “What would happen if we disappeared like before? What would happen to them?”
Discord looked at him wide eyed, “Tirek you can’t.”
He smiled, “If you want to stay here you can beg for it.”
Discord looked at him and snarled, “Please Tirek.” Discord looked at the kids to push him to say it. “I’m begging you these kids need me.” Tirek simpered and looked at the children. The children were going gaga over a lion. What did Discord see in these kids?
It almost made Tirek angry, “Fine, but from now on.” He looked Discord in the eye, “You call me Lord Tirek.” He said and bit down forcefully on Discord’s neck.
Discord cried aloud, quickly silenced himself, and grabbed onto Tirek’s back in effort to scratch him away from him. Tirek felt Discord’s hands on his shoulders. However, one felt much weaker than the other. It almost didn't feel like Discord. He looked at Discord who was now holding onto his shoulders, Discord looked into his eyes unable to regain his composure.
Tirek smirked at the beautiful look on his face, “Remember to think carefully.”
Discord’s flush spread to his ears and he quickly looked away from him, “Y-Yes my lord.” Tirek pushed him against the wall roughly making a smacking sound and he walked away. Tirek shook his head, how could he have gotten so frustrated? He flashed Discord one coquettish wink before pulling up his hood. With that Tirek had become another figure in the passing crowd. Discord was frozen solid as he slid down the wall. He couldn't help but stare at the place where he stood. Tirek had such a powerful presence even now Discord could feel his heavy body against his. Tirek’s large hands on his body. It gave him goose bumps. Discord touched his red hot ears and abruptly covered them. He gripped his hair and stared intently at the ground. Why did this happen now?
One of the kids looked over at him, “Mr. Discord! There’s a bench right there!” Discord was surrounded by all the kids laughing and raving about the animals, how cool it was and if they were real. None of them even picked up on what had just happened. He scooted towards the bench and pushed himself up with his good arm. He pulled out his Plum phone and looked at the time.
“Kids, we should go to the bus.”
All the kids smiled, “Alright Mr. Discord.” The kids held hands and he held a little girl’s hand. Discord walked all of the children in a single file line. The students stopped near the bins and took out their bags. Discord hurried the children and looked at Big Macintosh sitting in the driver’s seat. Discord led his kids into the bus taking attendance as he did so. Discord smiled, they were all here.
Discord climbed on the bus and sat behind Big Macintosh, “How was the trip Mr. Discord?”
Discord smiled and looked at the kids, “Do you even need to ask.” The kids were laughing and practically jumping off the walls.
Big Macintosh grinned, “Nope.” Big Mac started the bus and began to drive back to the school. Discord sunk into his chair and enjoyed a moment of sitting in peace. Maybe he could forget today happened. Suddenly, his back pocket vibrated.

Discord sat up and pulled out his phone he had an incoming call from an unknown number. Discord tried to see if he remembered any of the digits but they evaded him. He picked up his cell, “Hello?”
“Discord? Is this you?” He smiled when he heard a soothing feminine voice.
“Yes, hey Tia.” He could hear her sigh, “Eager to talk to me huh?” Celestia laughed on the other line.
“Shut up you big prick!”
Discord laughed, “Me? I didn’t do anything!”
“Listen Discord, I was wondering, I know we ended kind of... messy. To say the least, but can we try this thing again.” Discord put one hand over the end of his phone. He bit his lips. Could he really do this again? He uncovered the end of his phone.
“I’d like that Tia.”
He heard Celestia let out a sigh of relief, “Great! That’s just amazing! Do you think we can meet up?”
Discord looked at his phone like it was a person, “I’d like that. How about Friday we meet up at the cake bakery? Sugar Cube corner, you know where that is?” He paused for a moment hoping he said the right thing.
“I can do Friday. Around 8?”
Discord grabbed his chest, “Perfect.”
Celestia coughed awkwardly, “Great! That’s great! See you there.”
He nodded and smirked, “You're totally on hold with Luna right now aren't you?”
Celestia laughed awkwardly into the phone, “What! No!”
Discord laughed and mocked, “What! No~!”
“Shut up I don’t sound like that!”
He laughed, “You so do!”
“Bye Discordant JerkFace!”
He smiled, “Goodbye Snotlestia.” She laughed and so did he before he hung up.
“Yep.”
Discord looked at Big Macintosh, “What?!”
Big Mac glanced at him, “Nothin.”
Discord smiled, “Yeah well, she’s giving me a second chance and I'm going to my best to make sure I don’t mess it up.” Big Mac nodded. Discord looked out the bus window at all the cars. He and the kids soon were singing road songs until they were back at the school. He saw all the kids off to their parents, and then got back on the bus. “Can you drop me off at the public gardens, I think I just missed the train.”
Big Mac smiled, “Yep.” He closed the bus doors and they drove away. Discord stood by the doors, he knew it was against regulation but he really wanted to see Fluttershy and girls today. He looked at his phone and saw he had a text from a blocked number. He looked at it and read it. You replaced me with a bus driver?
Discord’s spine stiffened, “You alright Mr. Discord?”
Discord looked at Big Macintosh and said, “I-I'm fine.” Discord looked outside the bus at the cars, “I hope.” He scanned them all intently but he didn't see Tirek.
I just saw this really bad movie.
Discord bit his bottom lip, was Tirek really following him? He spoke aloud, “Shiri, how do you find out the number behind a blocked text?” Big Mac glanced at him.
“Searching. Searching.” His phone chimed, “results found.” Discord read the top result, go to the police and they’ll track it. Discord scanned all the cars again and still didn't see him. Big Macintosh drove off the freeway and made his way into by the garden. Big Mac looked at Discord and saw distinct teeth marks on his neck.
Big Macintosh stumbled on his words a bit when he said, “Tell AppleJack I said hey.”
Discord looked back at Big Macintosh “I-I will.” Discord said aloud and waved Big Macintosh goodbye. Discord looked over at Fluttershy as she waved at him.
He walked over to her, “Discord!” She ran over and hugged him tightly, “How was work?” Discord smiled and hugged her, he knew he couldn’t tell her about Tirek but he could tell her about Celestia.
So, “My day was great! I can't wait to tell you and the girls everything.”
Fluttershy smiled, “We're all sitting over here.” Fluttershy lead him through the beautiful brush. He loved hearing the birds sing around him. The two made it to the picnic. He saw all five of the girls sitting there too. AppleJack, Pinkie Pie, Sunset Shimmer, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy sat down and patted Discord next to her. Discord sat down, “Well Discord what is you couldn’t wait to tell everyone. If you wanna share now.”
Discord looked at Fluttershy, “I don't know, it got a little crazy.” Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes, “Will ya just tell us what went down when you were at work?” Discord, “Well as you may or may not know I used to date your Principal.”
Sunset Shimmer choked on what she was drinking and Pinkie gasped, “I didn't know that!”
"You actually dated Princess-," Sunset Shimmer stopped herself, "Principal Celestia?"
He smiled, “Well you two, let’s just say it didn't end on good terms. We were at different places. Today I saw her at museum.” Rarity clapped her delicate hands together.
“How wonderful did you two talk.”
He nodded, “We did talk. She and I even had lunch together, afterwards I gave her my number. I kissed her goodbye and now we have a meeting scheduled.”
AppleJack grinned, “That’s great Discord! May I ask where the event is happening?”
He pointed to Pinkie, “At Sugar Cube corner. I hope that’s ok Pinkie.”
She gave him two big thumbs up. “Okie dokie lokie!”
“Oh!” Discord snapped, “Big Mac said to say hey.”
She raised an eyebrow, “That brother of mine. Doesn't he know we live together?”
Discord smiled, “He just cares about you.” She nodded, “I know that but sometimes I think he cares a bit too much ya know.”
He nodded, “I can definitely understand that.”
Pinkie smiled and yelled out, “Let’s chooooow doooown!” The six of them ate their picnic dinner and gossiped together about different things that happened during the day. Like how Pinkie’s geometric balloons were in shipping, how AJ had joined the feminist squad and Rarity was going to add a new event onto her, Fluttershy, and Discord’s usual at the spa. Rainbow Dash looked at Discord, she really didn't like Discord but she felt obligated to offer him a ride just like she would for any of her friends.
“You know if you need one of us can probably drive you home.” All the girls nodded in agreement.
“Oh, Fluttershy and I will be staying to plant a few flowers in the square.”
Fluttershy nodded, “Oh! Discord we should probably get going. I-If that’s alright with you.”
He laughed, “Of course it is young Fluttershy!” The two stood up, “I hope you all have a good evening.” Discord called out to the girls. They waved him and Fluttershy goodbye as they all went their own way.
Sunset Shimmer had a smile on her face, "I am so telling Princess Twilight Sparkle about this." She grinned and looked back at Discord and Fluttershy.
Discord looked down at the young beauty, “What do plan on planting in the square?”
She grinned, “Oh! I was actually chosen to plant the tree! I know you'll be planting some zinnias.”
Discord crossed his arms, “They're beautiful after all.” Discord’s back pocket buzz, Discord stopped abruptly.
Fluttershy stopped and looked at him, “What is it?”
“Phone call!” He pulled out his phone and pressed answer. “Yellow?”
“Or did you replace me with this underaged girl.”
Discord froze, “Discord what’s wrong?” Fluttershy asked him.
"Where are you?” Discord whispered.
“You obviously don’t remember our relationship as well as I.” Discord scanned all around, he could feel Tirek’s presence pushing him down. “I am everywhere and nowhere.” He could feel him, Tirek’s warm hands on his body. Tirek whispered, “You’re scaring that girl.” She looked up at Discord and mouthed, who is it?
Discord looked at her, “What do want me to do?” He asked shakily.
“Address me when you speak to me.”
Discord’s face flushed as he whispered, “My lord.” Tirek’s laughter could be heard on the other line.
“Such a good boy. Listen Discord. You can fool around with whoever you like but you’ll always belong to me.”
Discord looked around erratically. “Where are you?!” He yelled into the phone and heard the dial tone.
Fluttershy looked at him, “Discord!” She yelled still sounding fairly modest. Discord’s phone dropped to the ground cracking the screen. “Are you okay?” She asked and picked up his phone. He sucked his lips into his mouth and shook his head.
He grabbed onto her and hugged her tightly, “I'm terrified.” Discord whimpered helplessly. Fluttershy looked at this man in shock. He had done a lot of unpredictable things in the time she knew him. For crying out loud, he helped to build an extension on the party cannon, but he had never once been sad, scared or even remotely upset. She looked now at Discord, helplessly shaking on her shoulder because he was scared of someone. Fluttershy patted his back softly, what could she do.
“Discord what’s wrong? You can tell me.”
Discord closed his eyes “N-No I can’t.”
Fluttershy looked up at him, “Come on we'll talk in my car.” Discord nodded sadly as the smaller female as she walked him over to a petite yellow car. Fluttershy opened one of the doors for Discord and he sat in the car. He pulled his knees up to his face and buried it there. What on earth was he doing? Tirek wasn't being his sadistic self he was scaring Discord. Tirek did many things Discord wasn't comfortable with but Tirek never purposely scared him. Fluttershy sat in the driver’s seat, “Discord, can you please tell me what’s going on? Does this have anything to do with Celestia?”
Discord took a deep breath, “No, well.... kind of.” He looked up from his knees, “I’m sorry Fluttershy. This is none of your business. I just need to cool off.”
Fluttershy looked at him, “Discord. You can tell me anything.”
He kept his gaze away from her, “Fluttershy. You are my best friend but I'm afraid this I cannot tell you. Give me a moment and I’ll go back outside.” Fluttershy looked at him. Fluttershy always accepted herself being insignificant but this was crazy.
“Alright Discord.” She said and left the car. Discord took a deep breath and looked at his phone. He saw the phone number now in his phone. He began to call the number. He held the phone close to his ear.
“Anything else you need Discord?”
Discord closed his eyes, “I can trust this will be your number from now on?” Discord could almost feel Tirek’s smile.
“Yes you can my pet.” Discord closed his eyes tightly. “I’m going to have to go now. Business calls. I will speak with you again before tomorrow.” Discord could hear his heart pound in his head.
Discord nodded, “Yes my lord.” He said quietly.
Tirek cooed at Discord, “See you soon.” Discord hung up his phone and put it back in his pocket. That crack sort of made his phone appear more material. He kind of liked it better that way. He took a deep breath and looked at himself in the rear view mirror. He opened the car door and looked at Fluttershy with a big smile.
“So sorry you had to see that young Fluttershy. Let’s get to the planting.”
Fluttershy looked at him, “Discord?”
He grabbed her hand, “Let’s go!” He said and pulled her along childishly. Her worry turned into a smile, it obviously was a topic he didn't want to cover and she had to respect that.
“Ok Discord wait up.” The two raced to the center of the public gardens. The ceremony was quick. There was a small ribbon cutting ceremony and soon everyone was allowed to pick their seeds. He had brought his own zinnias and planted them into the soft soil. Fluttershy grinned as she held the tiny sapling and placed it within the earth. Discord happily clapped with the rest of Fluttershy’s eco-club. Discord looked at his watch.
“Fluttershy.” He called, she looked over at the man. He pointed at his watch, “I've gotta catch the train!” Fluttershy’s eyes widened slightly.
“Ok! Goodbye Discord!”
Many of the other kids turned to him, “Goodbye Discord.” Discord smiled, he felt so loved. He waved and ran off, so needed.

M CHAPTER WARNING
He made it to the train station around the same time as the rest of the rush. He looked as the train came flying into the station. Discord quickly got on and into his spot where he could get off and onto his block swiftly. He stood and held onto a bar on the ceiling. He looked out the window as they passed many trees. He took a deep breath, he couldn't wait to talk to Tia when he got home. Maybe she could help him forget about all the other crazy happenings of the day right? At the next stop were more people coming home from work. Tired faces that were low on energy. He let out a sympathetic smile for them, he loved his life and his job unlike some of these people. Then again, most of these people had someone waiting for them at home. All he had waiting for him was a tin of sugar cookies and a phone call. Suddenly, he felt a large hand on his rear. His eyes shot opened no longer being able to simply look out the window. Maybe it was an accident but soon he felt the hand move about his bum exploring the area. Tirek . Was this what he meant I will speak with you again before tomorrow? He soon felt the hand slip into his loosely fitting jeans. Discord took a sip of cold air tensing up. Flesh touching flesh he became afraid. Those hands were touching him. Those hands that he feared would ever touch him again. He would lose control.
He didn't want to alert anyone, afraid of looking melodramatic, but he didn't want this. He felt an index finger touch his hole teasingly. Discord’s knees locked together and a scarlet flush covered his face. His hands clasping and unclasping.
“S-stop.” He whispered. He felt the single finger enter him quickly and he felt his eyes moisten as he gasped hands now covering up his front. He wasn’t a virgin so it was no big shock but this, in public?! What was Tirek thinking? Testing his loyalty no doubt. He could feel Tirek’s breath flirting with his sensitive ears. Discord himself began to pant from the pleasure. He didn't want this! He didn't like this! Tirek was scaring him, purposely scaring him. Discord was incomplete shock at Tirek’s brash movements.
Discord closed his eyes as he felt a second finger enter. The two fingers pumping eagerly. Discord bit his lip, his legs shaking as the third joined in. After a few moments Discord felt the fingers release him and the hand moving again to fondle his testicles. Discord moved his weight onto his toes, this was not good at all. His face was a ruby. It was hot in the train car but not that hot. Why would no one notice?! His stop was approaching. He felt the hand leave his pants to his relief but two hands quickly were on the move to his front. Discord grabbed Tirek’s hands and swiftly turned around to him, eyes shut tightly.
“P-Please,” He begged, “Lord Tirek, I don’t want this.”
“Who’s Tirek?” He heard a young masculine voice ask. Discord’s eyes shot opened, these hands were an apricot color, not Tirek’s dark red and didn’t have his spiky accessories but a black suit. The man grabbed his face, “You make a good pet to your lord hmm?” He froze entirely, he felt somewhat in control knowing it was Tirek but this man. This man was not his ex-lover. “Your master is one lucky bastard.” He commented. Discord suddenly felt the strange man’s hand enter the front of his pants.
“No!” Discord said and grabbed the man’s arm with his prosthetic arm. Lacking in strength the man continued with ease. “Stop it. Please.” Discord begged tears falling from his face.
Tirek you’re scaring me!
He screamed in his head. Tears rolled like rivulets as he grabbed him as tightly as he could.
“Halt feminist squad!” He heard a woman say as she roughly grabbed the man’s hand.
He was quickly pinned against the metal walls of the train by a buff man who chimed, “Yeah!” Discord looked up and saw many women in navy blue uniforms rush over to the pervert and take his ID. The women were wearing short skirts and black nylons. The train pinged for his stop.
“Sir, are you alright?” He heard an all too familiar voice say. He looked up scarlet faced, covered in tears at his friend AppleJack. She looked at him wide eyed. “Discord?” As soon as the train doors opened he ran out in pure embarrassment. “Discord wait!” He heard her yell but he scrambled to get out of there. This couldn't be happening. Discord pleaded with himself.want this again.

Tirek sat in his long black car in passenger because he didn’t drive. He looked over at the woman driving, none other than Chrysalis.
“You sure Discord should be leaving the station now?”
Tirek nodded, “Definitely. He doesn’t have a car, he only ever drove mine.” The woman had just dropped off her love, Fluffle Puff, at their sweet pink house. Chrysalis was a fairly tall woman who sat with perfect posture. She wore a strapless gradient navy green dress. Her complexion was obsidian with grey birthmarks on her legs and arms. Tirek held his phone in his hand ready to call Discord. Chrysalis smiled at Tirek, the man took time to scan the area looking for Discord. Suddenly the two inside the car saw Discord zoom past. He was holding his elbows, tears rolling down his blushing face as he ran. Tirek turned and watched as the man ran.
“Uh, did you do something?”
Chrysalis asked looking at Tirek, “No.” He said flatly watching Discord as he turned into a dot farther away. “I’m going to approach him, something happened.” The large man said as he opened his car door.
Chrysalis grabbed his red arm, “No! No! No! No! No! No!” She said and he looked at her, “I go. You stay.” Tirek looked at her, “If something did happen I’ll tell you.” Tirek looked at her for a moment.
“You’re right.” He said and closed his door. She drove around the block parking on the side of the street.
“I’m going to pretend like I went for a walk and I’ll give you details when I come back.” Tirek nodded crossing his legs for comfort. She smiled and closed the car door. She put her earbuds in and started walking around the corner for Discord’s street. She looked and saw Discord sitting against a mailbox his face in his hands. His knees quaking and shoulders bouncing sadly. Chrysalis stopped by Discord and pulled out her earbuds. “....Discord?” He jolted and froze, she bent down. “Discord it’s me Chrysalis.”
Discord looked up from his hands, “D-did AppleJack message Fluffle?” Discord quickly began wiping his eyes so she couldn’t see his tears. He hated people to see him sad. He loved being the center of attention, but not like this.
Chrysalis put her hand on the side of Discord’s face, “Not that I know of. I left for a walk around 30 minutes ago. Why would AppleJack text Fluffle Puff?”
Discord let his head rest on her hand, “AppleJack is on the feminist squad and I ran away from her.” She looked at Discord, why would he.... “Chrysalis,” she looked at him, “I really should talk about this, can you promise that if I tell you, you’ll only judge me on the inside?”
Chrysalis looked at him, “I won’t judge you at all,” she said. Time with the nature girl had really softened Discord up. ButterFly? Her name was something like that. Chrysalis was honestly concerned for the man, she had never seen him like this.
Discord took a deep breath, “Tirek has been following me.” He began, “I do know why, but I....” He looked up at her, “He’s scaring me.” She looked at his glistening eyes. Discord felt so guilty saying it outloud and it made his eyes water again. Discord couldn’t explain it, but he never wanted Tirek to be this man to him. He was really terrified of Tirek. “And on the train.” Chrysalis looked at him, “someone was...” he bit his lips his face turning red.
Chrysalis put her hands on Discord’s shoulders, “You can tell me.” She said trying to comfort him. She wasn’t very good at this, but she figured she would try. Discord moved his face away from her. He looked away from her sobbing, he was trying so hard to conceal his face.
“Someone was touching me inappropriately.” He said quickly, fat tears rolling down his face. He sounded more frustrated than sad. Chrysalis looked at him with wide eyes, Tirek would not like that. “I-I thought it was Tirek!”
He yelled sobbing loudly, “Hey it’s ok.” Chrysalis assured.
“No! I kinda felt... safe knowing it was Tirek...” Discord sniffed, “I knew he wouldn’t hurt me, and I had a little bit of power over the situation, but it wasn’t him!” Discord cried out. He felt so dirty saying these things about Tirek, but it was the best way he could explain these mixed emotions. “I don’t know what to do! He’s gonna call me soon and I-!”
He let out a loud sob, “Oh, no no.” Chrysalis said and attempted to give him a half hug. He sniffled in her arms helplessly. “It’s okay Discord, you should go inside. Take a nice hot bath and then go to bed. Okay?”
Discord nodded, “Okay Chrys.” Discord wiped his eyes with his long sleeve and chucked quietly, "You're really bad at this." She rolled her eyes though elated he was feeling better. “Chrys, can you help me up?” She nodded and grabbed his right arm and he pulled it back and gave her his left arm. She raised a brow and he looked at her, “That’s my prosthetic.”
Chrysalis blinked a few times, “Y-your what?” Discord closed his eyes.
“The drug took more than just a few teeth it, infected my arm.” She nodded and helped him up with ease, Tirek definitely would not like that. She walked him up to his front door and he unlocked it. “Chrysalis, please don’t mention Tirek to anyone. They don’t need to know what we all did in the old days.”
She nodded, “Of course.” Discord looked back at her before he fully walked inside his house.
“If you happen to see Tirek,” she looked at him. “A-at least don’t tell him I’m scared of him.” He closed his door quickly and Chrysalis began to walk away. What was she gonna tell Tirek? Not that he was scared that was for sure. She would have to be blunt in this situation. As soon as she made it to her car she sat in the drivers seat. Tirek was leaning his head back eyes closed.
“You want the good or the bad?” She asked Tirek.
It seemingly flew over his head as he asked, “Why was he crying?”
She looked at Tirek, “He was molested on the train.”
“What?!” Tirek asked loudly and sat up. He hissed through his teeth as he hit his head on the roof of the limo.
“He thought it was you.” Chrysalis continued, “He said he felt,” She looked at Tirek hanging on her words she smiled, “He said he felt safe knowing it was you.”
Tirek patted his chest, “But I am here. It was not me!”
Chrysalis nodded, “I’m gonna guess when he asked you to stop he realized it wasn’t you.” Tirek growled protectively. Chrysalis smirked, “Maybe we offer him a ride in your big limo?”
Tirek shook his head, “No he doesn’t need to know what car you drive yet.” Chrysalis nodded, and the two drove away.
As the two drove Chrysalis glanced at him, “Oh, um. Remember when you said he didn’t feel like Discord when he held you?”
Tirek raised an eyebrow, “I would not forget my own words.” She ground her teeth together. She closed her eyes a moment and then locked them on the road.
“Ooh, you’re really not going to like this.” Her face became altered.
Discord sat on his couch and called AppleJack. He had taken off his arm to help him relax. He was in his ‘sleepy time’ robe.
“Discord?!”
She yelled, “Yes, it is me.” He replied, the fire gone from his usually charismatic voice. He was too emotionally drained.
“Oh my god! Discord! Ya had me more worried than a fruit bat durin’ a famine! I saw what happened!”
Discord nodded, “I know I was there.” He spoke with bitterness.
“I’m so dang glad your safe! Are ya okay?” AppleJack asked concerned for her friend.
“AppleJack can I ask you something?”
AppleJack smiled sympathetically at the phone, “Whatever you need Discord.” Discord covered the end of the phone and took a deep breath.
“Am I really so pitiful?”
He could hear AppleJack’s hesitation, “Why do you think that Discord?”
He closed his eyes tightly, “I knew it.” He whispered sounding frustrated. He wanted to fold inwardly so the world couldn’t see him.
“Discord, I don’t think you’re pitiful!” AppleJack could hear the man’s shaky voice almost make words on the other line before she heard two beeps signifying he hung up. Big Macintosh walked into the room and looked at her drying a bowl in his hand. “Forget it Big Macintosh he hung up.” Big Macintosh raised an eyebrow to his younger sister. “Well what would you have done?! Can you honestly tell me you would have forced him to stay on the train?”
Big Mac frowned at his sister, “Nope.” He spoke and gave his sister the bowl and towel.
AppleJack looked at him with wide eyes and covered her face with her unoccupied hand, “You would have gotten off with him.”
“Ahyep.” Big Mac replied, he pulled out his Plum Smart Phone and began texting quickly.
“Who’re you texting?”

Discord was lying in his room watching the elegant ceiling fan spin with ease. He closed his eyes slowly happy now that the world would give him some rest. He could feel his entire body sigh as he sunk deeper into the bed. He heard his doorbell chime and his eyes strained to open. He got out of his bed, still in his day clothes.
He heard the bell chime once again, “I’m coming!” He yelled and opened the door slightly. “If you aren’t selling sweets I don’t want any.” He heard a sophisticated laugh. His eyes shot opened making him completely attentive to his surroundings. He looked and saw Luna with her elegant hand covering her mouth as she giggled.
“It was you that was always good for a laugh.” He looked at her and quickly opened the door with his left hand.
“Lu-lu please come in!” She waltzed in, every movement like a threatening dance.
She turned to him, “Time to talk.” Luna said and walked around to the couch and sat with class. She crossed her legs showing off her fairly high heels. He walked over to the couch and sat across from her, “Discord, do you know why I’m here?” Discord sighed and leaned against his couch.
“Lu-lu, today is not exactly a great day. I just want to rest from a long day of exhaustion.”
Luna grabbed his hands and looked at him, “Big Macintosh texted me Discord, I’m here to talk.”
Discord looked up at her, “Luna, I’m so sorry I’ve dragged you back into my pitiful life. Please, if I am not wanted let me know. I’ll leave you and her lives for good this time.” Luna looked at him puzzled by his reply. It seemed that what she said just slipped out of his ears. She slammed her heel against the ground demanding his attention. Big Macintosh had called the right person.
Discord sat up and looked at Luna, “Discord,” she looked at his empty sleeve, “It’s really true. You did get gangrene in your arm.” Discord held
Tirek sat in his home on his black felt chair with Chrysalis sitting across from him, “His arm is what?” Tirek asked again, truly not believing what she had been telling him for the past hour.
Chrysalis sighed and repeated it slowly, “He has prosthetic arm.” Tirek covered his face and took a deep breath.
“He lost his arm, how in the hell did he lose it?” She knew he would be very angered by this.
“We’ve seen people lose fingers before from using your drug.”
Tirek ran his hand through his hair, “But never an arm! Never Discord.”
Chrysalis pointed her finger at him, “You left the country and let him go into shock! Not me! Methamphetamine causes gangrene, you’ve known that from the start.”
Tirek covered his eyes, “A leg maybe but an arm!” He groaned. Discord felt so odd when he tried to scratch him only now did he see why. “He thinks I’m trying to frighten him because he is more vulnerable.” Tirek picked up a bottle of wine and took a swig. “It’s my fault,”
Chrysalis looked at Tirek, “You want to make this up to him?” Tirek looked up at her, “Then let’s get started.”
Luna had her hands covering her mouth as though she was praying. Her elbows were resting on her quadriceps. “Discord, my sister cares deeply for you.” Discord looked at Luna, “However,” she continued, “do you know that I know about all of it?” Discord could feel his heart pang and his stomach drop.
“Pardon me?” He attempted to ask casually. Luna rolled her eyes and reached for her dark blue and black purse. A white crescent moon printed on the side. She opened it with a quiet click of buttons.
She pulled out a small news clipping, “Did you ever see this?” She handed him the clipping to him and saw the black and white picture of a cerberus behind 4 bars painted on a wall. Discord looked at the different hues of grey as he read the words, Symbol of Crime Now of Homosexual Pride?! “This happened about a month after my sister left you.” Discord’s focus was split between her and this article. “He came out for you.” She stated flatly. Discord looked at her and back at the article.
“How did you...?”
“Know about Tirek?” Her response made him lock eyes with her. Luna looked away from him. “Things changed Discord, unimaginably.” She pulled out a second clipping, “I never hid from them, yet they would never had found me.” She gave it to him and he saw the picture. There was a woman with dark, tainted flesh. She had pulled the camera down to look directly at them from the bank’s safe. The woman’s dark locks pulled back in a ponytail holding a sword.
Discord read the title aloud saying, “Bank Robbed Without Guns.” Discord looked up at Luna, not quite understanding. The picture of the woman was admirable, only then did he realize what he was over looking. “You don’t even look like her. When did you?”
She smiled and sighed, “It took 2 hours at the dentist and 3 years of therapy but yes.” Discord looked the woman over in disbelief. “I didn’t team up with Tirek,” she she stated, “he informed the police.” Luna made eye contact with Discord. Luna took a deep breath and closed her eyes, and ran a hand through her hair. She took a second deep breath. “Discord, I,” she paused a moment and straightened herself up again. “I’m just here to make sure you’re ok.” Luna looked up at Discord obviously taking more care in her words. “Tirek hurt me Discord, and I’ve heard stories of him hurting you.”
Discord closed his eyes, “Lu-lu, I want to start again with Tia. Tirek was the last thing on my mind until-”
“Until today.”
Discord sighed and held a thumbs up, “Yes until today.”
Luna looked at Discord, “We’re all adults here so this is what is reasonable.”
Discord huffed loudly, “Luna, I just... I don’t know what I want to do.” Luna rolled her eyes, Big Macintosh had told her he was going to be a bit out of it.
This was ridiculous; every word she said went in one ear and out the other, “Discord, there is a mature choice that you can make here-”
“I don’t want to be with him!” Luna looked at him, Discord was not known for his temper let alone to raise his voice. A goofball, definately. She was near offended he took such a tone with her. “I understand I could be in a relationship with both of them until one of them got more serious. That isn’t the problem.” Luna raised a brow at that. “Tirek is... and Celestia was always there. Until,” Discord covered his eyes with his hand, “she wasn’t and Tirek never left until he did. I was alone and went into with drawl I turned off. I-I’ll lose control again and I just, can’t turn off .” He took in a few deep breaths. They were jagged as though it was hard for him. “I can’t be alone again.” Luna hadn’t meant to startle him, but she didn’t think the decision would affect him in such a way. Discord was focused on his breathing. He was so out of control tonight and he couldn’t handle it. Even though he could be seen as a mindless goof off he was always one step ahead. It was scary not being at the head of the mass. Tirek introduced that feeling to him. While it was quite thrilling for him at the time, it now only filled him with despair and fear. Why did he ever let Tirek hurt him like that? “Luna, my world is kind of scary right now. I just want to rest.” Luna sighed and touched his knee. She could now see that being with two people that cared for him deeply and then tore him apart created a different kind of addiction.
“I want you to have some peace. I don’t want you to just push this off.” Discord looked down at her, he was trying to read her thoughts but was having no such luck. “Not as Celestia’s sister but as Luna, talk to me.” He looked at her blue hands in surprise.
“Luna that is very personal-”
“I want to know the whole deal. Both enchiladas.”
“Luna, I don’t think I can.” Discord said staring at his lap.
“Think again.” Luna said, her voice dignifying the room. “It will be better if you can talk it out.” Discord took a deep breath and looked up at her.
“I thought my world was a ‘pitiful piece of trash that deserves to be washed away in a flood.’ What changed?”
Luna smiled at him, “I changed Discord. I want to hear how you’ve grown let me hear your story.” Discord closed his eyes tightly. He knew he couldn't refuse her, but he desperately wanted to disappear.
“Ok, I’ll talk,” he spat out sounding slightly upset with himself, “I’ll go chronologically alright?” Luna nodded and uncrossed her legs. She was getting comfortable for a long story. Discord felt his pocket vibrate and he shuddered. It could not be Celestia. Luna must have told her she was leaving. Discord felt it vibrate again, “How about coco? I’ll get it for this painfully long story.” He quickly got up and walked into the kitchen as the phone vibrated. He quickly closed the door and pulled out his phone. He held the device close to his ear. “My lord,” he whispered, “please not now I have company.” He heard the man take a long pause.
Tirek looked at Chrysalis with his hand over the end of the phone. “I shouldn’t have called yet!” He whispered and she shook her head.
“Is the great drug lord Tirek being modest?” He looked at her with a rage.
“Hello? Are you still there Lord Tirek?”
Discord glanced at the device and shifted it to his shoulder. He opened up his cabinet and pulled out two large mugs. The two had an identical scribble mark on them.
“I’ll hang up.” Discord warned and grabbed his phone with his hand as he walked to the pantry.
Chrysalis looked at Tirek, “Say something meaningful to you and him!” Tirek wanted to hiss at her and quickly thought for something.
Tirek found what he was looking for and spoke, “Ay me, for aught that I could ever read,” Tirek began in a low voice.
Discord stopped before he touched his pantry door. He felt like he was drowning on air as he grabbed the phone tightly and pulled it closer to him.
“Could ever hear by tale or history,” Discord felt his heart flutter as he held the phone.
“Tirek, I-”
Chrysalis looked at Tirek in shock. Tirek had always been rather stoic so Shakespeare seemed so off kilter.
Tirek smirked at her shock but his tone didn’t change as he said, “The course of true love never did run smooth;” Tirek paused for a good five seconds and looked at Chrysalis, “I apologize Discord. Do not call this number again, it will not bother you anymore.” She nodded giving the dark man two thumbs up.
“Tirek wait-” Discord heard two beeps signifying the call had ended.
Chrysalis stared at him in awe, “How are men not tearing down the walls to get you.”
Tirek smirked, “I suppose there are things you don’t know about me.”
Chrysalis put a fist on her hip and stood up from her seat, “Apparently a much classier side at that, why is that so important to the to you two?” Tirek sat with slightly parted lips as though he was about to speak. Tirek let out a loud hearty laugh. His low voice boomed as the man laughed sounding almost cocky. Chrysalis smiled knowing he was back at the reins.
“I’ll be back in the morning, I’ve got to go dance.” She said and grabbed her jacket
Discord held the phone for a moment as he slowly opened the pantry door and pulled out the instant cocoa mix. “Do you prefer your cocoa with milk or water?”
“Either is fine, oh but please,” the door swung opened and Luna looked at him with lowered eyed, “hold the B.S.” Discord smiled awkwardly at Luna.
“So... milk?” She smirked and pulled a small chair out and sat in it.
“Make and talk Discord. Make and talk.” Discord let out a long, quiet sigh. He hated when Luna talked down to him especially since she had mastered the art of making everyone around her feel small. Though Luna was never center stage she would definitely be la diva .
He looked at her out of the corner of his eye, “So Celestia and I hmm?” Discord pulled out the milk and poured it into a large pot on the stove. “We,” he began and put the milk away, “we really were happy once.”

The woman looked at him and sighed sadly, “Sir if you cannot afford to buy something we’re going to have to ask you to leave.”
He looked at her, “No!” He said and retreated back to a lower tone. “I have money, a-and half a hotdog.” She looked him up and down as he pulled out a coffee cup filled with change the woman looked in the cup and extended her hand outward. Discord handed her the cup and she poured the contents on the counter. “I’d like a large peanut butter.” She counted out the exact change and saw it was the perfect amount. She looked at him and put a coupon in front of him.
She made a fake surprised face, “Sir do you want to redeem you buy one large get one free coupon?” Discord looked at the small slip of paper and nodded slowly. He did not enjoy this. Discord knew that almost every store near by knew that he didn’t buy this food for him and most of the time he lived off of handouts. Discord looked at the woman who brought him the two larges. “Here you go sir.” He smiled and nodded. He turned to walk away focusing on not dropping the yogurts. Discord felt his foot collide with another and jumped back. He looked at a woman shorter than himself with strawberry yogurt all over her pastel blue dress.
“Oh dear.” Discord put down his yogurts and ran to get napkins. He grabbed a handful of napkins and gave them to her. She stared at him as he ran to get more and more soft napkins.
“Oh no it’s alright.” She assured him as he pushed more napkins at her frozen by her voice. “I’m fine, really.” Discord bit his lip and shook his head. His face was beet red as he held the napkins in his hands. His knuckles pale from the force he was holding them with. “Do you not speak English?”
She asked carefully and he closed his eyes, “I’m sorry.” He whispered.
She looked at him, “It’s really fine.”
Discord shook his head, “I’m so sorry. I’m sorry. Shit. I'm so sorry.” The woman with multicolored hair scanned him looked at his dirty clothes, she smiled and took a few of the napkins he was holding.
“Thank you.”
Discord looked up at her, “I am really sorry.” She smiled knowingly at him. Discord could feel her calculating him as though he was an equation she could solve.
“Tell you what. You can make it up to me by coming by again tomorrow.” Discord blinked and looked at his broken watch.
“Yes, I’m sorry.” He grabbed his frozen yogurts, “I have got to go. Tomorrow, yes! I’m sorry.” He sped out of the place as she continued to scan him. Discord rushed through the busy side walks and pushed people out of his way. He looked and saw the theater with wood and police tape blocking the the entrances. Discord dipped under the yellow tape and pushed the board away. He walked in and moved the board back into place. Discord ran in and saw the traditional woman with a young girl sleeping in her lap. Discord looked between the two, “What happened?”
Discord sat in a theater seat, “Her peers are calling her a rat child. Discord these insults are becoming less mild.” The man looked at the small girl with fuschia hair.
Discord held her small shoulder, "Scootaloo?" The little girl grunted as she opened her eyes. Discord smiled at her and she laughed. She sat up carefully.
"Heya Discord. Make any good money today?"
He smiled at her, "I made enough to get us two frozen yogurts." He held the two peanut butter frozen yogurts out. He gave one to Scootaloo and the other to Zecora. Zecora looked at the frozen treats in awe.
Scootaloo smiled brightly, "Alright thanks Discord!" She ran off happily and sat next to her pillar.
Zecora looked at him, "Discord I am most concerned about how all this money was earned?"
Discord smiled, "Buy one get one free my dear Zecora." Zecora looked at him.
She spoke, "What, my sweet, are you going to eat?" Discord chuckled at her rhymes.
"Really had to stretch for that one," he joked. Zecora raised a stern eyebrow at him. Discord cleared his throat and reached into his pockets. He took a slightly more serious tone, "I know you think it's not enough." He pulled out his one half a hot dog.
"Discord! You fill me with such spite when you refuse to eat right!" She yelled. He cringed at the sound of her raising her voice. She took a deep breath, "Let me work the street-"
"So you can sell your body like a piece of meat?!" He said cutting her off. She glared at him, "Ooh!” He ran his hand messily through his hair. He took a deep breath and put his hands out in front of him, “No." He said somewhat playfully so not to worry Scootaloo. The tribal woman glared at him.
"Scootaloo! Go to theater four and clean the floor." She licked her sticky fingers and grabbed the broom.
"Yes Zecora." She quickly ran off leaving the two alone.
Zecora looked at her friend, "They are taking her away and keeping us poor folks at bay." Discord ran a hand through his grey locks. "Discord I will not lie, but it is very hard to say goodbye."
He looked at her, "She needs to go with them." He said to both reassure Zecora and himself. She nodded and Discord laughed nervously. He grabbed his own hair roughly and took a deep breath as though he was about to say something. He looked up at his concerned friend and forced out the word, "Perfect." He began to walk away from her, "I'll be going to bed now Zecora."
"Discord!" Discord sat up straight and groaned. "Discord!" He heard Zecora sternly call again. Discord repressed a hiss as he stood up. Everything was still so fuzzy. Discord held his head in his hand and left his theater.
"What?" He called whilst brushing his hair with his fingers. He wiped the hangover off of his face as he walked into the lobby. Discord looked at Zecora who was sitting on a snack counter. It was completely empty besides cut outs of candy brands. She patted the counter and he smirked at her. He sat up on the counter with her.
"Discord, though this may cause dejection," Zecora grabbed his greyish beard and pulled it roughly, "you ought tell me where you hid the injections." She seethed through her teeth.
Discord looked at her challengingly, "Make my day."
She shook her head, "I know you don't mean to give me a scare."
"Let go of my hair." He said with an angered smirk.
"I am not taking you back to urgent care." She warned.
He held one of her grey hands, "This is not your sword to bear."
"You've made this a burden we share," Zecora snapped back at him. The two held eye contact for a short moment.
Discord looked away from her, "I've," he looked at the watch on her wrist, "got to go." Discord pushed himself off the the counter.
Zecora sneered, "Would you stop putting on this show; I know you have nowhere to go." He turned, smiled, but continued to backpedal to the door.
He pushed up the wooden board. The wetness from the previous day had all but dried up. Discord grabbed his head and immediately regretted not wearing sunglasses. He had never suffered the mythical lows that Hollywood romanticized. However, he found himself being much more sensitive after using it. Discord could fake sobriety easily if he took his time. Slow steps, a lot of yawning, headphones and sunglasses. Lacking one tool he had to be extra precautious. Discord walked along side of buildings when possible and used his hand for balance. He ran calloused hands over the bricks and rough cement as he walked down the street. Once he turned the corner he knew this was when his first tool would have to take action. Unable to touch storefront glass he proceeded to take slow steps.
Discord was bumped by a few city dwelling shoulders. He continued to take his time until he got to the colorful fro-yo. He looked inside and squinted, curse the bright colors. Discord walked to the door and pulled it open. He walked in and saw the woman with pearl colored skin sitting at the table. She had her pastel hair was in a sloppy bun. She wore purple transition glasses that had not fully adjusted to the lighting inside of the fro-yo. Discord felt his dusty hands become clammy. Despite himself he walked forward and tapped her right shoulder. She turned around and he slid to her left. Discord took a napkin from the table behind him. The woman turned and looked up at Discord.
Discord handed her a crinkled napkin and mumbled, “You said today, correct?” She smiled and took the napkin from him carefully.
She could not help but giggle at the sight, “And I was afraid you’d make this boring.” Discord smirked and walked to the other side of the table.
Discord gestured toward the chair, “May I?” She nodded and he proceeded to pull out the chair. Discord spun the metal chair with pink and grey checkered cushions. He sat in the now backward chair and swung his legs forward. He folded his arms over the top of the chair and rested his head there.
She patted the table, “So what is your name?” Discord made a sour face and the woman began giggling again.
Discord scooted closer to the table with a quiet squeak. “Why don’t you tell me your name first?” She smiled and put one of her small hands on her collar bone.
“I’m Celestia.” She said. Her voice made the room float and sigh. Celestia. Discord looked at the ground and chuckled. She looked at him and crossed her arms, “Now you.” Discord attempted to look up but was flustered by the aura she was sharing with him.
He studied the floor as he said, “You can call me Discord.” Celestia tilted her head to get a clearer view of him.
“I think it’s wonderful.” Discord’s face lost all expression as he looked up at her. Celestia smiled, “Would you like a frozen yogurt?” He looked up at the menu board.
“N-no, I shouldn’t.” Celestia rested her head in her hand.
“Better question, when was the last time you ate?” Discord looked at her.
He shook his head, “How do you know-”
“I recognized the shirt.” She said quickly. Discord looked down at his shirt and smiled awkwardly. Of course she noticed it was the same shirt from yesterday. Celestia waved at one of the waitresses.
Discord took the pot of hot milk off of the stove and placed it on two pot holders that were shabbily made. They were obviously made by his young students.
“After our first meetings we got to know each other better. She was so observant.” Discord laughed, “To think of all the times I had asked her out on a date, but heard no.” Discord turned to Luna who was sitting on the table swinging her legs. Discord pulled out a tablespoon and opened the coco mix. “That was around the time Scootaloo was adopted away from us. And of course when my nickname of Tia began to stick!” Coco mix puffed up in his face. Discord brought his arm up to his mouth as he coughed. He stuck the table spoon in the mix and put a scoop in one of the mugs. “But then out of sheer luck she said yes to one of my dates.”
Luna watched as he poured the milk into one of the cups, “Where was it?” Discord laughed loudly and had to put down the milk. He covered his mouth as he laughed.
Discord was holding both of Celestia’s hands as he pulled her along. Celestia laughed as she was pulled. Discord didn’t wait for the automatic door as he narrowly made it into the super store. Discord had stability on the beige hardwood floors. Discord had long grey hair in a ponytail with black shaved sides. Celestia had a backwards bob and large hoop earrings with a sun in them. Discord gestured to the rest of the store. Celestia’s smile became stale for a moment.
“A mattress store?”
Discord smiled and elbowed her jokingly, “How many men can you say took you to a mattress store?”
Celestia smiled and shook her head, “None.” Discord slid in front of her and held up his pointer finger. She laughed and grabbed his hand. Celestia pushed his finger down, “One.”
Discord jumped on the balls of his feet and began pulling her again, “Come on this is going to be great.”
Celestia let out a surprised yelp, “Yes it would be if I was eight.”
Discord laughed and spun her a moment, “Live little.” Celestia rolled her eyes and followed him to a kingsized bed. Discord took a running start at the bed and jumped onto it. Discord let out a happy whoop as he bounced on the bed. Celestia covered her mouth and laughed. Discord sank into the bed and let out an over exaggerated sigh. He looked up at Celestia and groaned, “My girlfriend hate fun!” Discord said and rolled on the bed. Celestia walked over to the bed and sat down.
She looked at Discord and touched his hair, “So I’m your girlfriend already hmm?” Discord took her pale hand in his own.
He put her hand over his face, “Did I say girlfriend?” Celestia nodded and laid back on the bed with a quiet affirmative noise. Discord rolled closer to her and pssted her. Celestia looked at Discord who had a mischievous look on his face. “How about we sneak into the storage area and jump on all the beds?” Celestia raised an eyebrow at the notion. “And!” Discord intruded on her analysis, “Have I pointed out how much I love your hair cut?”
Celestia smiled and shook her head, “This is crazy.”
“Nah,” Discord said closing the space between them, “it’s chaos.”
He said and flipped off of big bed. He looked around at people who were staring at the two. Discord smiled and walked away with his hands behind his back. Celestia followed closely behind him. Discord walked over to an opened door. The room didn't have much light in it besides what was shining in from the store. He nodded his head toward the door. Celestia shook her head and crossed her arms. Discord rolled his eyes and walked over to her. He held both of her arms carefully and ran into the room with her. Discord moved his leg back as they ran into the room and pulled the door closed with his foot. Celestia squinted and looked around.
Discord looked around and patted the wall for a light switch, “This may have been a slight miscalculation.” Discord hit a switch and the lights slowly came on. They made a quiet buzzing sound. Discord looked around at all of the mattresses covered in plastic. Discord looked and saw the surprise on Celestia’s face. Discord laughed and ran at Celestia, “Tia!” Celestia turned, but before she could react Discord grabbed her and pulled her onto one of the mattresses. She let out a yelp and laughed. Discord stood up on the white mattress. He extended his hand out to her, “Come on Tia.” She looked at his hand and she grabbed it. He helped her up and she smiled at him.
“Do you do this often?” She asked trying to retain her balance. Discord laughed avoiding the question. Discord let go of her hands and jumped onto a nearby mattress. He turned to look at her and then jumped to another.
“Catch me if you can Tia!” He yelled and she shook her head. She backed up a bit on the bed and ran and jumped onto the next bed with a loud laugh. Celestia jumped to the bed Discord was on. Discord groaned and flopped onto the bed. “Oh no. I’ve been captured.” He said dramatically and grabbed her legs. Celestia screamed as she fell onto the bed. Celestia laughed and rolled over to look at Discord.
“I think that can be considered cheating.” She said and Discord howled with laughter. Celestia snickered and smiled slyly, “Discord.” She whispered and Discord looked at her. Celestia kissed Discord’s nose, “This was fun. Thank you.” Discord silenced at the minor showing of affection.
