"Finally, finally it's done," I heard as I was flying above Ponyville. I looked down to see two ponies working on something that looked like a bomb of some kind.

It was a crisp September morning. The autumn leaves were in the air and the wind was blowing pleasant and strong. It was the perfect day to go for a stroll or

But frankly, the weather wasn't good enough for these two ponies. That, or something else had ticked them off. Either way, they were either really angry or really messed up. Like, even more messed up than Discord. I'm talking Mane-iac messed up.

One pony was a gray unicorn with blue eyes and a red-and-dark-gray mane and tail. The other was a younger earth pony that reminded me of Pinkie Pie but had a mane and tail lighter than her coat and had ragged hair instead of puffy curls.

"IT'S FINALLY DONE!" The pink pony said with a maniacal laugh.

I descended to get a better look at the situation. Strangely, no one seemed to notice the insane duo except for me and one other pony. Even Doctor Whooves and Derpy just strolled by without even taking a glance. If anyone looked towards the commotion, they wouldn't acknowledge the fact that there was a bomb right in front of their eyes. However, I did mention that there was one other pony who noticed all of the commotion.

He was a gray earth pony with brown eyes, a blue mane and tail with red tips, and a set of teal headphones.

"Stop them! They're trying to kill us all! STOP THEM!" He yelled.

"NO! No. We're going to save you! We're going to save you all! DON'T YOU TRY TO STOP US!!" The unicorn replied.

Those two ponies were clearly insane, if I hadn't mentioned it already. However, if I did, the message was now even more reinforced. I was close enough to see the pinprick pupils of both of their eyes, and I even got a glimpse of the pink earth pony's cutie mark; an object of some sort falling onto someone's head. I wasn't sure if her cutie mark had anything to do with her behavior, but I found it intriguing.

While the gray earth pony looked on, terrified, I snuck around and found a set of wires in a circuit board.

'Hm,' I thought, 'There's always one certain wire that will deactivate the bomb... Probably the one that's labelled "deactivation cable."'

It was a plot hole and I knew it, but I didn't even care.

Yes. I broke the fourth wall. That's usually either Pinkie's job or my friend's job, but neither of them were there at the time.

As I went to work, I heard those two ponies talking again.

"THIS IS YOUR REDEMPTION DAY EVERYPONY! GO AWAY FROM US! Stay away from us! Go away hah hah hah hah! You can't touch us now!" The unicorn yelled.

"You see this button here? I'M GONNA PRESS IT!!!!" The pink earth pony added.

Then, as I was tugging, I felt a snap. I had finally bitten through the cord. And not a moment too soon.

I heard the button being pressed, but nothing happened. It was pressed again and again, but to no avail. The mad ponies yelled in confusion and anger. A blue aura formed around them, and the unicorn teleported them away to Celestia-knows-where.

The gray earth pony was still there, gawking at what he just saw, as I stepped out with the cable in my mouth. I set it on the ground and pointed at it.

The remaining pony just looked at me in confusion and what looked like minor shock.

"You see this wire here? I cut it."

There was an awkward silence, with us Just staring at the defused bomb, processing what we both just saw. The we both just laughed hysterically. Not maniacally. Just hysterically.
