As Luna awoke to the setting sun one of the most uncommon and unexpected things happened. She had started the night as any other night get up to see the sun set, then brush her mane and tail. As the princess started to walk to the balcony a bright flash of white light erupted from the door way followed by the appearance of a filly, who looked no older than nine. the filly was bright white with a jet black mane,her mane had a red stripe running through it. She was unconscious. The thing that stood out the most wasn't the fact she was an alicorn but the fact she had the exact same cutie mark as her own.
The filly was surrounded by a blue aura. Luna picked up the unconscious filly and put her on her bed. Luna had completely forgotten about raising the moon because of her concern for this child. Luna placed the filly on her bed, just before leaving her room to fetch her sister. Whilst Luna was out of her room the filly awoke to a sight she didn't recognise.As the filly got up to exit the room she heard voices from outside. The filly was so scared she didn't know what do, the only thing that came into her mind was to hide under the bed.
"Tia we are not telling lies." Luna sounded a bit annoyed at her sister at the moment
"If your not lying then tell me where is this foal?"
Luna rolled her eyes "I've told you she's on the bed just look for yourself." the door to the bedroom flung open"See!"
"No I don't are you sure you saw a filly because she doesn't seem to be here."
"But she has to be" Luna went to rush over to the bed when a clearly audible sneeze came from under the bed.
Celestia chuckled "Now Luna I don't think you quite understand. when you say you put her on top of the bed you actually have to have her on top of the bed."
"But Tia I did put her there."
"I know but there's no point you staying here right now is there?"
"Why the hay not?" Luna was on the verge of using the royal canterlot voice.
"Whoa lulu neigh need to use the royal canterlot voice I was just saying you still have a sky to decorate that's all."
Luna's frown soon disappeared "He he sorry Tia we guess we forgot about the night sky."
"That's quite understandable now then you better be on your way before we start getting some angry astronomers at our door. Aint that right lulu."
"Yeah I guess, see you around Tia."
"See you later lulu." celestia turned her attention back to the bed"Now then are you going to come out from under there our am I going to have to pull you out?" The filly stepped out gingerly from under the bed
"I'm sorry" she said before nearly breaking down with tears"I didn't mean to intrude."
celestia's smile returned "now then who said you were intruding?"
"N no one I just thought that means this wasn't a park any more i was intruding or even worse trespassing."
"Now then you listen here if you was trespassing i would have called for the guards and had you sent back home so why would you think you was trespassing?"
"no big deal just the fact that I am now in somepony else's bedroom with no idea to where I am or where I came from the only thing I can remember was playing in a park then a voice from somewhere shouted heads before i blacked out next thing I know I'm in here."
"Well then sounds like somepony has had a busy day I think you need to have some rest would you like to sleep in a guest bedroom or share with Luna?"
"Erm could I sleep in here for the time being?"
"Sure breakfast tomorrow will be served at 8am"
"Thanks."celestia was just about to walk out of the door when she turned back around to ask her what her name was but she had already fallen asleep on Luna's bed.
" I guess I will have to ask her in the morning."

Luna arrived outside her bed chambers eagerly awaiting to see how Celestia was getting on with the filly. To Luna's surprise she was surprised to hear no voices coming from inside the room. She entered the room but was stunned at the sight that fell before her. Everything looked the same but her sister and where was the filly was not in sight. She suddenly heard a quiet snoring noise coming from under the covers. She started to approach the now sleeping filly being careful of the creaky floorboards that she had in her room. Just as she had a closer look at the filly a thought came through her mind, who is she? and where did she come from? that thought was soon interrupted by one of her servants.
"P-princess the throne room is ready now"
Luna snapped out of her day dream looking some what dazed before realising what was just announced "Thank you miss serenity" Is all she could say, still not fully understanding why she was here.
"Do you wish for me to accompany you to the throne room on this lovely night?" The servant was about to turn around to walk out of the door when she heard Luna speak.
"Why yes thou would love some company tonight especial when this little one will be running around in the morning." Luna gestured towards the filly.
"Ah yes I see, do you want me to find you a foal sitter."
"No thanks thou will ask our sister to look after her during the day."
"Yes of course...I'm sorry."
"Why are thou sorry for trying to help? That is your job remember?"
"Well yes but I thought you might have been offended."
"I'm more offended at the fact you thought I was." Said Luna in a sharp but unserious tone.
"He-he sorry, I wont do it again but shouldn't we really be going?"
"Yes we should, after you miss serenity." The two ponies both walked in silence. Just before they arrived at the throne room they both stopped "I have one quick question."
"Yes Princess?"
"Who wants a meeting with me at night, is it the astronomers again?"
"No Princess" Luna started to think deep in her mind about who else would want a meeting in the darkness of her night but she couldn't think of anyone. "It's Miss Pie."
"Why do I need a throne room for an old friend."
"An old friend Princess?"
"Yes, she is one of Miss Sparkles friends."
"Oh, right of course."
"Could you tell her to meet me in my study?"
"Yes princess" The servant walked over to the energetic pink pony. "Miss Pie I presume?"
Pinkie pie looked curiously at the servant before speaking. "Of course I am silly filly, if I wasn't Miss Pie I wouldn't be me and if I wasn't me I wouldn't have any friends and with out any friends I would be really lonely" Pinkie Pie gave a sad look for a moment whilst remembering her foalhood but just before the servant could say anything to make her better she had perked right back up "Now then, where is Princess Luna? I've been waiting here all day."
"Why Miss Pie, it's night time."
"I Know, I wasn't born yesterday, no my birthday isn't for another 235 days"
"Could you please follow me to the Princesses study?"
"Yeah sure, I will tell you jokes and all that stuff and..." The servant cut her off.
"Miss pie I don't believe you need to tell me jokes right now."
"Why not?"
The servant struggled for words but finally came up with an idea "Well I am on such a busy schedule, I can't be listening to jokes in case I forget what I have do." Pinkie looked at her thoughtfully before asking
"How many things do you have to do tonight?"
"Hundreds Miss Pie."
"Okie dokie" The rest of the walk was done in silence, which Pinkie Pie hated (a lot). Once they arrived at the Princess's study, the servant knocked at the door but to her surprise Pinkie had gone. A few seconds later, Pinkie Pie had opened the door "who is it?"
"Erm... Miss Pie how did you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Get to the other side of the door with out opening it"
"I dont know, it just happens"
"Since when?"
"Since like forever!" The servant looked kinda confused. Pinkie Pie decided to let her off easy "If you want to know how long or why, I don't really know the answers, your best bet will be to ask my cousin: Octavia."
"Oh ok I guess I will leave you then, I have to finish off my chores before my shift ends." Pinkie Pie turned back around to the waiting Princess.
"Sooo Princess, why do you want to see me in here?"
"Because Pinkie, we are friends aren't we?"
Pinkies face was beaming "I can't believe im friends with a Princess! The only time I can remember meeting you was when we banished that meanie mean pants Nightmare Moon and we found you and then Princess Celestia reappeared and she called you sister and we were like." Pinkie gave an exaggerated gasp. "And you were like really, really sorry and then I threw a party and..." Luna decided it was best to end it there.
"Yes Pinkie, we know, we was there remember?"
"Oh yeah silly me." Pinkie was now chuckling at her own mistake.
"Pinkie, why are you here tonight?"
"Because my pinkie sense told me somepony needed my help and it led me straight to you!" Pinkie was now inches away from the Princess's face.
"Erm... Pinkie do you mind leaning a bit further away?"
"Oh right sorry." Pinkie leant back so she was away from Luna's face "So what does thou need help with?"
"Nothing, Why?"
"But my Pinkie sense never lies to me... Never, ever, ever! So you, dear Princess need help and I know how to help!"
"How can you know how to help if you don't know what the problem is?"
"But I do know, it's to do with a filly."
Luna's eyes lit up with shock. "Well...Yes... How did you know?"
"I can read you like a book and I have the solution."
"What is the solution to this problem then?"
"Me! I can look after her and if the filly has a horn, Twilight will quite happily come to help!"
The day before.
Twilight Sparkle was calling for her number one assistant. "SPIKE! SPIIIKE! where is he!? I need him to send this letter to the Princess asking her to reschedule her brunch due to a weather problem." Twilight Sparkle had forgotten he had been round Rarity's helping her all day until she looked at her schedule. "Oh yeah he-he guess I forgot he was going to Rarity's today and pinkie pie is going to Canterlot, maybe I can ask her to give this letter to the Princess."
As she headed for sugar cube corner, she saw Pinkie Pie bouncing in a line towards the train station "Pinkie! hey wait up!" Pinkie stopped, she turned around to see twilight walking towards her.
"Oh hey Twilight! How are you today? Sorry I can't stop and chat, I have to go to Canterlot."
"Yes, I know, Could you give this to the Princess for me?"
"Sure thing Twilight, anything for a friend." By the time Pinkie had gotten to Canterlot, the Princess was setting the sun so Luna could raise the moon.
Back to the present.
"Are you sure twilight will come?"
"Yes, possitive because she is one of my friends. She likes lectures so teach this little alicorn how to use her magic properly, she can give one of her really long lectures."
"Well if you insist." Princess Luna then sent the letter to Twilight who responded immediately.
Dear Princess Luna,
I would be happy to help, I will be there first thing tomorrow morning, there is only one problem with your offer which is of my deepest concern how am I to teach her magic, if I don't know anything about alicorn magic and I don't have a teachers licence.

"Well Pinkie you was right she is eager to help."
"I knew she would be because that's my Twilight." After the conversation drew to an end, Pinkie was finally becoming tired.
"Guards escort Miss Pie to the guest chamber where she will be sleeping for a while. Be ready to wake her for breakfast, she has a letter to deliver to my dear sister."
"Yes your majesty." As they lead Pinkie to where she would be staying she started telling them jokes to get them to smile which didn't work because of how well they were trained.
