How Sunset Shimmer befriended all (and grew closer to another)

B-But...I don't know the first thing about Friendship...

She was finished sobbing of course, but her heart still felt like it was stamped into the ground. She would not deny that she regretted her less than sterling actions against the school and The Mane Six. For Pete's sake, she had even apologized four too many times to them all through her crying. She could have kept in saying sorry, but she still felt terrible...and with good reason, it seemed to Sunset Shimmer.

How could She have been so cruel and unjust to everyone? How could She have thought that stealing the crown and hopping headfirst into the mirror would end Well for her? She couldn't think of a good reason for why she was being so Tyrannical towards everyone, and it was HERSELF who had done these vile things. For all Shimmer cared, she wanted to be locked up somewhere as Punishment...

But Twilight had apparently declined this notion from her thoughts. One, she didn't want to punish her pour soul for something she never meant to happen...even if it seemed like she did. And Two, punishing was merely Princess Celestia's job. And even Celestia seldom punished. Luckily, the Alicorn Princess had a much different plan in mind for Sunset Shimmer.
