Red´s Chronicles: Mission Equestria

CHAPTER 1

“MY FIRST HOOFSTEPS”

It was a busy day in the Great Control Room; in fact all the days have been busy in recent years. All the technicians and operators there have been trying to relocate a strange signal detected some time ago. If someone has sent a signal from other Dimension it means that his world has reached certain technological level. That could draw the attention of “unwanted guests”, which could make them vulnerable. And if the signal was sent by accident would be worse, it could mean that they are helpless. So they need protection.

Remember that a coin has to sides, just as there is an Inter Dimensional, there are criminals Inter-Dimensional Criminals.

A Gate in a high point of the control room opens and a woman in a pink military suit enters. She had blue eyes, blond hair with a ponytail, the beauty of a princess and the will of an Amazon warrior. She was also wearing an eye patch.

Princess Koopa, Great Commander of the Inter-Dimensional Police.

She was followed by a colossal man in a red tight suit with a red helmet that looks like a giant bowl.

Juggernaut, former villain and personal bodyguard of the Princess Koopa, is not like she needs protection but, let say there are certain rumors about them.

• Anything yet? – The Princess asked.

• Nothing in the quadrants Alpha, Beta and Gamma, sir. – A Storm Trooper said.

• PIPAPOPU (The non-space is clean) – An R-2 Unit said in binary language.

• The Limbo is dead, as usual. – A Goomba said.

• The Hyper-Space only shows the regular traffic. – A Gnome said.

All the operators gave similar reports except for one. A young Magikoopa named Kamek Jr. He was too concentrated in his station that he didn´t pay attention.

• Kamek, give me your report. - The Princess said to him.

He didn´t answered.

• Kamek! Your report! – She insisted.

He doesn´t respond.

The Princess then raises his hand and pointed him with her index finger. She shoots a small spark of energy that crashes on the back of his head.

• YEEEEOOOOUCH! – Kamek yelled in pain.

Everybody but the Princess there laughed, even Juggernaut chuckle a little with his arms crossed.

• Kame! –The Princess exclaimed. – Put attention! What is wrong with you?

He was rubbing the back of his head, smoke was coming from it.

• Doh! Sorry your Highness, but I think I found something.

Everyone stopped laughing.

• Well, what are you waiting for? – She said – Put it on the Main Screen so we all can see it!

• At once your Highness!

He types something on his keyboard and the image was transferred to the Main Screen. There were a lot of interference but the silhouette of some type of building was perceivable.

• Just give me a minute. – Kamek Said. - I´m going to try to clear the image.

He then types on his keyboard with uncanny speed; the image began to get clear little by little until it was perfectly clear.

• A Coliseum floating in the sky? – The Storm Trooper asked.

• Kamek, you idiot! – The Goomba exclaimed. – You were scanning the wrong quadrant, that´s the Nimbus Kingdom!

• The Nimbus Kingdom doesn’t have any Coliseum. – The Princess corrected.

• It´s just me or nobody else notices that the coliseum is made out of clouds? – The Gnome asked

• PURIRIRURIRIRURI! (My sensors detected a falling object from bellow the Coliseum!)

• Yeah, I can see a little point over there. – The Princess said. – Kamek! Amplify the image!

• Right away!

The amplified image shows a terrorized Unicorn in free fall.

• Why that Unicorn is dressed as a showgirl from Las Vegas? – The Human asked

• Is that what you worry about?! – The Gnome exclaimed. – Why she jumped without wearing any parachute?!

• I don´t think she did it in purpose, look at his face! – The Goomba said.

• PIPAPOPU (I detect three more objects coming from below the Coliseum)

• Never mind, they are coming to rescue her. - The Goomba said.

Three Pegasus wearing blue suits and goggles appeared from below the Coliseum. But they reach her; she hit them in her desperation and knocks out them.

• That can´t be good. – The Storm Trooper said.

• Can´t we do anything? – The Gnome asked.

• There is not a Uniweb installed in that Dimension. – Kamek said. – It will take us like Five minutes to open a portal there. That is like four minutes and fifty seconds more than what they left.

• PURIRIRURIRIRURI! (Another object is coming at a great speed!)

• Where? – Everyone asked.

• Kamek! Zoom out, quickly! – The Princess exclaimed.

With the complete view again, they saw an object coming from up the sky at high speed, entered the Coliseum from above
and coming out from below leaving behind a rainbow colored trail.

• Is that a Pegasus too? – The Goomba asked.

• It´s impossible! – The Storm Trooper said. - No Pegasus can fly at that speed!

• Not without the proper training at least. – The Princess said.

The flying speed demon reaches the falling ponies just before they hit the ground. It grabs them and immediately flew back up at the same speed. In that very same point an explosion was produced.

• HOOORRRAYYY! – Everybody yelled!

• PURIRIRURIRIRURI! (Amazing, it reaches Mach 1 in ten seconds flat!)

• Not bad for a rookie. – The Princess said.

• Is that a Sonic Boom? – The Goomba asked?

• It looks more like a Sonic Rainboom. – The Gnome said.

• That´s it! That´s it! – Kamek exclaimed. – It´s the same signal we picked up some years ago! The Computer confirms it! That´s the Dimension we were looking for!

• Excellent! – The Princess exclaimed. – Kamek; locate the coordinates and…

• Eh, Sir, we got a problem! – The Storm Trooper exclaimed.

• What is...? Ooow shit!

The sonic wave was about to reach the limit of the screen.

• Turn off the sensors! Quick! – She shouted.

• It´s too late sir! – The Storm Trooper exclaimed and immediately later the screen of his station exploded on his face. – My eyes! My eyes! This helmet is useless!

The Main Screen exploded and all other stations began to explode one by one. Juggernaut reacts immediately by grabbing the Princess and using his body to protect her.

• You take advantage of every opportunity to touch me, isn’t big boy? – She whispers to him.

The R-2 unit was thrown to the other side of the room when his station exploded.

• PPRRRRRIIIIAAAWWWN (Why I was programmed to feel pain?)

The Gnome and the Goomba ran from the Control Room through a lower access, both covered in flames.

• I burn! I burn! – The Gnome shouted.

• This feels ridiculous familiar! – The Goomba exclaimed.

Kamek started to type on his keyboard more rapidly, a series of numbers appeared on screen. He memorized them and immediately covers his face with his arms just before his screen exploded. The explosion was strong but he wasn´t moved an inch.

For when explosions ceased, there were several fires around the Control Room and it was full of smoke.

• “cof,cof” Please, tell me that you have the coordinates, Kamek.

• Yes I have, Princess. – He replied as he removed the rubble of his robe.

A training Dojo in the other side of the castle

All around the huge Dojo, many kneeling disciples were looking at the center of the combat zone.

The combatants: a young man in a red Dogi; with short and tousled black hair. He was wearing glasses and has a tail around his wrist over his black belt; stocky, average height. He was in battle position.

General Red of the Inter-Dimensional Police, Saiyan-Blooded and martial arts expert; he was found in a cryogenic tube in a bunker hidden in a faraway unknown planet.

His opponent, a Dark Koopa Troopa, with a black shell, as spiked helmet and red eyes. He was wearing a pair of metal claws.

Captain Basilisk of the Koopa Troops Army, the military force of the Inter-Dimensional Police; is rumored to have mysterious powers. He was in battle position as well but he was panting.

They had been holding a training battle, but Basilisk was unable to strike any blow.

Basilisk took the offensive once again. He throws a series of attacks with his claws but Red blocks them all using his bare hands as swords. In the last two attacks Red immobilizes him by grabbing him by the arms. Now they were face to face looking into each other eyes.

Despite of his size, the strength of Basilisk is well known but for Red he was just a mouse with a lot of strength.

• You don´t let me other choice. – Basilisk said with a dark voice.

His red eyes began to glow intensively.

• Good try. – Red said. – But stare attacks doesn’t work in someone with empty eyes!

It was true. For some reason, Red´s eyes never reflected any light. In fact his black pupils were like two bottomless holes. Deep eyes, a sing of a deep wisdom, but that kind of eyes can only be obtained by ageing and Red doesn´t have more than thirty years and because of his Saiyan blood he doesn´t look to have more than fifteen.
But Basilisk was insistent. In an attempt to concentrate more, when he adjusted his sight he accidentally saw his reflex in
Red´s eyeglasses.

• Oh, shit! Not again!

He turns himself into stone. The Red releases him and bows. All the disciples laughed a little.

Two disciples got up and took Basilisk to the infirmary.

• Next opponent! – An instructor said.

A man in a brown Dogi got up and took the place of Basilisk in the battle zone. He bows, Red did the same. The man began to convulse and started to grow hair all over his body. His hands became claws, his face lengthened and fangs came out. A Huargen.

Huargens are a breed of Werewolves from Azeroth. Civilized Huargens prefer to be called Gillians.

Both assumed their battle positions.

• I heard that your race is also a breed of Werewolves – The Huargen said with a guttural voice.

• It comes from one side of my family. – Red replied.

• And what it comes from your other side of your family?

• I don´t know, I don´t have the pleasure of meet them.

• It is a shame. Who doesn’t know is past it won´t being able to fulfill his true potential.

Red smiled.

• We will see that.

• Start now! – The Instructor said.

Both took the offensive. The Huargen raises his claw on the running preparing it for an attack. Red uses his hands to simulate the jaws of a wolf. For a moment, the Huargen saw the image of a wolf attacking him. He was stunned for a second.

• Róga fúfú ken! – Red yelled.

Everything happened so fast, Red and the Huargen ended back to back in opposites sides of the battle zone. The two were standing there for a moment and then the Huargen collapses on the floor. The disciples applauded.

• Not bad, not bad. – That was the voice of the Master; one of the many Masters that work in the Inter-Dimensional Police. - You have not lost condition, in fact you've improved, but you're still a bit presumptuous.

He jumped from his seat of honor to the battle zone.

The master was wearing an oriental black robe with a golden dragon embroidered on it. A bamboo hat was covering his face. A long Chinese ponytail was coming from the back of his head.

He assumed his battle position by putting his right hand behind and the left hand in front.

• Let see how really strong you are.

All the disciples were surprised. Red could not hide his nervousness; he never could beat any of the Masters and now was in front of the strongest of all.

• Shall we? – The Master said.

Red took his battle position. They remain still for a moment.

• BEGIN! – The Master shouted.

Red attacks first. Instinctively he threw a punch with all his might. The Master blocked it with the palm of his hand. The impact was so strong that it created an expansive wave that threw various disciples into the walls. Red Then throws him a kick but the Master blocks it with his leg. It has the same effect.

Red steps back, focuses his energy and throws a flurry of blows.

• Tenshin Amaguri Ken! – He shouted.

The Master didn´t avoid or block any strike, he received each blow without flinching. With each impact a thundering sound was heard.

• Do you really thing you can defeat me with my own technique? – The Master said as he received the blows.
  Using only the power of his Ki, he pushed Red away and immediately throws a flurry of blows.

• Tenshin Amaguri Ken! – The Master shouted.

Red couldn´t avoid him. The Master was faster than him so he was receiving al the blows. Helpless, he could only see how the punches of the Master were hitting him in all his body. Each punch was stronger than the last one. The damage was so high that his body was about to collapse. And when the Master was about to give the final blow when suddenly for Red all turned gray. The blow that was destined to his face stopped at a few inches.
Instinctively, he steps aside; all the color came back but a second blow strike him in the face breaking his glasses and throws him away. He was bleeding from his nose.

• The Master did it! – A disciple said.

• Is not a surprise. – Another replied.

• You are strong. – The Master said. – But you still have a lot to learn. That´s all for today everyone! You may leave.
  All the disciples got up and began to withdraw from the Dojo. Two disciples approached Red to help him but he refuses.

• I’m fine. - He said.

He stood up for himself, wiped the blood with his left hand, he raised his right hand in front of him and a pair of new glasses materialized in it. He puts them.

The two disciples where amazed to the fact that he can still move after having received so much damage.
In the lockers rooms, after taking a shower, he changed his clothes for a Battle Armor, better known as Saiyan Armor. A Toad in the locker next to his talked to him.

• You really should go to the infirmary. – He said. – The Master was not kind to you.

• I´m fine. – Was his answer.

He then took out a small bag stored in a saddlebag that was in his locker. From it he draws a small seed and eats it.
A sudden rush of adrenaline ran through his body. His wounds healed, his muscles grew a little more and his spirit launched a burst of invisible energy that shook the whole room. The Toad lost his balance and fell to the floor.

• WOW! – He exclaimed. – That was a Senzu Bean! Those things are very rare nowadays! … Wait a minute… You were presumptuous on purpose, doesn’t it?

Red made a little smirk.
When he was about to close his locker he paused to admire his memories. There were various pictures inside his locker; He appeared in a one having a beer with Homer Simpson and his friends at Moe's, in another, was having a training session with Master Yoda at the Jedi Temple, a porter of the Z-Warriors was stuck on the inside of the door of the locker; an Elite Attack Force created as a tribute to the original Z-Warriors; for years Red has dreamed of entering that select group.

He admired one last photograph, a group photograph of him with the Teen Titans. Everyone looked happy; Beast Boy and Cyborg were in the back, Cyborg was making the victory sing while Beast Boy was putting him horns. Robin and Starfire were sitting together holding hands. Red was next to Raven wearing a Red Mage uniform, he was putting his arm around the neck of Raven, she was smiling and blushing; one of the few times that someone have ever seen her smiling.

• “Oh Raven” – He thought. – “I miss you so much, I will never find someone like you. I still remember when I met you. I was taking a walk on the streets of Jump City wearing my old Red Mage uniform when, around a corner, I stumbled you. You were reading a book while you walked so you did not see where you were going. I accidentally pull you down.”

“ – Ouch…”

“- Oh! Sorry. Are you ok? Uh…?

“I remained captivated by your purple hair, your pale skin gave you a touch of exoticism and your serious look hid a deep
sadness which touched me.”

“ – You… you are cute. – I said.”

“ Yeah, wherever. – You answered.”

“I helped you get up and picked up the book that you were reading”

“- “Ancient Spell Casting” Do you like magic? Are you a sorceress?”

“-Something like that.”

“You took your book and you continued your way”

“- Wait! – I followed you. – What is your name? Would you like a cup of coffee?”

“- I´m Raven and I prefer the tea.”

He closes his locker.

The speakers sounded with a female voice.

“General Red, please come to the Alpha Control Room”

• Duty calls. – He said.

• The Alpha Control Room? – The Toad said. – That Control Room has not been used in years!

• Who are we to question the orders of the Princess? See ya later. – He leaves the room quickly.

• Until the next training session a guess….

He ran through a long and wide corridor. He passed many double metal doors. Each door leads to a different Control Room
and each Control Room monitors a different Dimension.

Half way he met with some old acquaintances. Neeble, Geeble, Sleeble and Mannix, the Worm Guys. They were holding cans of coffee with ribbons on them.

• Yo Red! – Neeble said.

• What´s up man! – Geeble greeted.

• Hey Listen! – Sleeble exclaimed. - The old Frank is having a party in the inner Courtyard.

• You wanna come? – Mannix asked.

• Sorry guys. – Red replied. – The Princess has summoned me, maybe she´s gonna assign me a new mission. – He continued his way.

• Oh man, does he no longer do anything but train or do missions? - Neeble asked.

• And he used to like parties a lot. – Geeble Said.

• It seems that he´s no longer interested in having friends. – Sleeble said.

Mannix nodded.

Alpha Control Room, previously known as Bowser´s Throne Room

The Princess was sitting on the throne of his father. Juggernaut was standing next to her with his arms crossed. Kamek Jr. was sitting on a terminal preparing the systems to open a portal.

• Your Majesty, are you sure you want to use Red for this mission? – Kamek asked.

• He´s the best in Inter-Dimensional exploration, his leadership is unmatched and his uncanny ability to get along with almost any race is legendary.

• That was before. His latest psychological examination revealed a severe depression that hides dedicating to train all the time. No longer hangs out with anyone and… - He began to whisper. – “I heard that he keeps a couple of sex slaves on his ship”

• Do you know that concubines are perfectly legal unless they being hold against their will, don´t you?

• Yes but…

• Besides he lost someone very special to him, how would you feel about that?
  Kamek was speechless. The door opens and Red enters the room.

• Do you call me, Great Commander? – He does the military salute.

• Oh Red. I´m glad you are here. You have been selected for a special mission. Kamek, give him the details.

• Ejem, some years ago we pick up a strange signal from an unidentified Dimension, we were unable to locate its location at that time because on overload in the sensors. An hour ago we detect the signal again. The sensors were overloaded again but this time we managed to locate the signal.

• I don´t see any problem. - Red said. – Just give me the information and I will make the initial exploration.

• That´s the problem. – The Princess said. – We don´t have any information.

• What? Why?

• The Great Control Room was destroyed during the overload. – Kamek said. – We won´t be able to install the Uniweb until is repaired.

• By the Stars, is everyone ok?

• Yes, they are ok. – The Princess replied. – They are recovering in the infirmary… or the workshop.

• The only thing we know is that they are some kind of candy colored ponies living there. – Kamek said.

• That don´t help me much. – Red said.

• That´s why you are going to do it in the old fashion way. – The Princess replied.

• The old fashion way?

• Yes. - The Princess continued. – You are going to infiltrate, become one of them, learn about their culture, don´t use your
  powers in public or you will cause panic, look for friends that you can trust and when they are ready for the truth, prepare them for help you. And more important, you have to identify the Main Characters by yourself and protect them at any cost!

• Wow! – Red replied. – That´s how you do it before!

• The good old days. – She said. – I know how you feel but if you wanna success in this mission you are gonna have to trust in the natives; One more thing. – The Princess stands up; she stood in front of Red and puts his index finger on his chest. - I know your weakness about cute girls especially the intellectual ones, so until the Uniweb is installed, DON´T TOUCH ANYONE! (If you know what I´m mean) You heard me! Any direct interference without the Uniweb installed can cause a disaster. So, until then, keep a low profile. Besides, you already have two concubines, with that you should have enough!

• What! – Red blushes. - They are not my concubines! They just live with me. Besides, they have suffered enough, I will never touch them!

• Wherever, you heard me!

• The portal is ready! – Kamek said.

• What portal? – Red asked.

• Look at the Main Screen. – He said.

The view of a dark forest was shown on the screen.

• What with that?

• Go and check it.

Red approaches to the screen and touches it. Waves were formed by touching the screen, like in the water.

• Wow! What is this?

• I call it “The Fourth Wall Effect”. I create it by combining the technology for portals with the technology of an Inter-Dimensional visor; It´s pretty useful for undercover operations because the portal is visible from this side but not from the other side.

• That´s cool. Should I leave now? – Red asked.

• Yes, immediately. – The Princess said. – We don´t know if anything else has already entered to that world. They could be in danger. - She snaps her fingers.

Juggernaut approaches to Red, extended the hand showing a silver case and a hi-tech watch.

• Your capsular equipment and your new Techno-Watch. – The princess said.

He took them, puts on the watch and checks on the case.

• It seems all right. – Red said.

• The watch has all the standard features. – Kamek Said. - Intercom, Time Displacer, Time Traveler Device and Portable Portal. Plus some new features check the tutorial for that later, and don´t lose it, we need the signal of his transponder to locate your position.

• Of course, only The Time Displacer will be operative until the Uniweb is installed. – The Princess added. So we won´t be able to communicate for now but a want you to make regular reports of your progress and save them in the computer of your ship. I want to read them later. We still can see you and heard you through the Inter-Dimensional Visor. So I´m watching you!

• Uh... Ok.

• And please try to not destroy it like the other ones! – Kamek exclaimed. – They are very hard to frabricate.

He was about to jump through the portal but...

• By the way. What happened to your eye? – He asked.

• Oh nothing, I have it right here. – The princess removed the eye patch. – I inspired more respect with the eye patch.

• Maybe you should think about using a green standard uniform instead of the pink one.

• Me in green? No way! Just go already!

Red jumped through the Portal in the screen.

• I still think the he wasn´t the best choice. – Kamek said.

• Maybe. – The Princess replied. - But for his own good, he must remember how to have friends, and I have a hunch that there he will find what he need.

Red pushes a button on his watch. A digital recorder is turned on.

• At first sight this looks like a regular forest. – Red said. – It has a Dungeons & Dragons style, but it looks harmless.

• RRROOOOOOAAAAARR!!!

He felt a rush of air behind him followed by a bad breath. He turns around only to see a hybrid beast with big fangs just in front of him.

• A Manticore! Just like in Dungeons & Dragons! But this one doesn´t look scary at all. It looks more like a big kitty. – He extends his left hand and tries to pet him. – Hello little kitty!

The Manticore bites his arm, for the Manticore´s misfortune that was like biting a bar of steel. He broke almost all his fangs. He step back and roars in pain.

• Ouch! Hey what’s wrong with you?! GTFO of here! You are a bad kitty!

The Manticore ran away, is when Red realizes that his Techno-Watch was crushed.

• Ooww shit! This can’t be good!

The watch threw sparks and a spring. He examines it but without the proper spare parts the watch was beyond repair.

• Kamek is going to kill… what the?!

He felt a sudden pain in the abdomen. The pain was so intense that he knelt down and wrapped himself with his arms. He felt a tingling in one hand. He examines hid hand. His fingers began to shrink and disappear, his palm became a hoof.

• What´s going on?! What´s happening to me?!

His skin started to get red; his facial features changed completely, his other limbs turned into hooves as. His Saiya-Jin tail shrank and became a black short ponytail and his Battle Armor disappeared and a red jacket took his place.

The transformation was so painful that hit the ground and began to lose consciousness, but not before seeing the silhouette of an equine creature with black and white stripes.

• What my eyes have seen? A pony in need!

The scent of some cooking wakes Red up.

• “sniff, sniff” There are two options: A healer is preparing me a potion or a witch is preparing “me” for dinner.

• Interesting way to talk to the one that saved your flank.

Red opens his eyes. He was lying on a bed and a Zebra with golden earrings and necklets was stood next to him holding a vase with a green potion. There were inside of a cottage decorated with masks, lots of flask and various ingredients and a bubbling cauldron in the middle.

• Drink this. it will help you to recover energy. – She said with an African accent.

• “gulp, gulp, gulp” aaaaahhhh

The potion actually worked.

• Thank you, miss…

• Zecora is my name, and I´m black and white as my mane.

Red gets out of bed, when he stood on fours legs he remembered the transformation. He examines his hooves, they were strangely comfortable. He checks on his face, his glasses were still there.

• “I can get use to this.” – He thought. -So, what happened? – Red asked.

• I was hope to you to tell me. I saw a Manticore running and then a found you snoring.

• “He didn´t saw the transformation!” – He thought. – “Ecxellent, that way I don´t have to give any explanation” Oh, I´m sorry,
  I didn´t introduce myself. My name is Red an I´m… an Explorer.

• An Explorer?! – Zecora exclaimed. - Another mystery we have. Your Cutie Mark doesn´t seem to represent the special talent you have. – She pointed at Red´s flank.

The picture of an old fashion TV with a rabbit antenna was in his flank.

• What the…! What is this thing?! – Red exclaimed.

• You should you hit your head very hard if you don´t know what cutie marks are.

• Uh? Yeah! Yeah! I know what a cutie mark is. I'm still somewhat shocked. Where I am anyway?

• In the Everfree Forest you are where many dangers are.

• Oh, if this really is a dangerous place you must be very brave to live in it all alone. – Red said with a seductive voice.
  He came closer to her and Zecora began to walk back. Red´s brain began to talk to him.

-“What are you doing? She´s a stuffed animal! How did you dare to try to hit on her? Oh, wait a minute; you are a stuffed animal too. What the hell, go ahead.”

• Uh... Mr. Red, I see that you are trying to hit on me, I´m flatter but…

• I like brave girls, you know?

• I… I… I know how to move in the forest – She blushes. – It… It´s no big deal, it´s just… - She reaches the wall. – Oh my…
  She was cornered, his legs would not responded, her heart was beating out of control and her whole body trembled.
  Is not like he was that handsome but Red has some kind of “animal attraction” that Zecora couldn’t resist.
  They were looking into each other eyes, those red eyes with black pupils that looks like two bottomless holes, she felt like she´s being swallowed by them. He approaches slowly, his lips were about to touch. She could felt his strong respiration on her nose.

• “Ti… this must be a dream” – She thought – “He has some charm and I have felt very lonely lately; By the Ancestors! I can´t even make any good rhyme!”

• I want to thank you properly for helping me. – He said using a sexy voice.

• …….. – She was speechless; she couldn’t resist any more so she closed her eyes, holds her breath and prepared her lips.
  He also closed his eyes and JUST WHEN HE WAS ABOUT GIVE HER THE MOST EROTIC AND JUICY KISS IN THE WHOLE MOTHER FUCKING HISTORY OF EQUESTRIA, a shiver ran down his back, he could almost feel the inquisitive eyes of the Princess Koopa and heard her voice in his head.

-“DON´T TOUCH ANYONE!”

• WOOOAAH! – He exclaimed.

He walked back and tried to stand up on his hind legs but not being used to his new body, he fell on his back.

• W… what happened? – Zecora asked.

• I… I´m sorry – Red replied. - I do not know what I was thinking. I don´t wanted to take advantage of you. Thanks of everything but I better go.

He immediately gets up and runs to the door.

• Wait! – Zecora shouted.

She tried to catch him but by the time she reached the door he had already disappeared in the darkness of the forest.

• Wait…

Zecora bowed his head and sighed. She went back inside his cottage. She wasn´t sure if she should fell relieved or disappointed.

Meanwhile at Fluttershy´s Cottage, just outside of town.

Fluttershy returned from doing some shopping in town. Not groceries but some medical supplies. She happily hummed a song as he crossed the little bridge leading to her home.

• “My Little Pony, My Little Pony…”

She opens the door of his house.

• I'm home, my old friend. Don't worry, I brought you a painkiller.

• Roouch!

It was the Manticore. He had a swollen cheek and a handkerchief that held her jaw.

• Now, open your mouth so that I can apply it to you.

The Manticore opens his big mouth. It was so big that he could swallow Fluttershy in one gulp. She took out a brown bottle from her saddlebag. A mare Unicorn with a light blue coat and withe and blue mane appeared from behind a tree across the bridge.

• Are you sure is safe, Fluttershy? – She asked with a worried look.

• Of course, he won´t hurt you. – She replied. – He needs your help.

• O…ok, I’m coming. - She said nervously.

She walked slowly to the house. She was carrying a saddlebag with the picture of a tooth on it.
Colgate is the local Dentist, the fact the she has an Hourglass as a cutie mark is still a mystery.

Once inside, Colgate couldn´t hide her nervousness. She was never before in front of a Manticore. Only the Mane Six have encountered such a beast, in fact only the Mane Six were crazy enough to enter the Everfree Forest at their own will and the first ponies to come out of that place alive.

Colgate couldn´t move, she was paralyzed with fear, so Fluttershy had to push her using his head.

• Come on, come on. - Fluttershy said – He won´t hurt you.
  Now she was face to face with the Manticore. He was still in pain but not like before thanks to the painkiller.

• Now my friend. – Fluttershy continued. - Open your mouth again so that the Dentist can check you.
  The Manticore opens his mouth. When he saw the beast opening its jaws in front of her made her lie down and cover her head. She even pronounced a “squek” Now she knows how Fluttershy fell the major of the time.

She walked toward one side of the room where she had an old record player. An Ipod station was on it. She puts the Ipod there and turns it on. A classical melody was coming from it.

• Oh! The Minuette! – Fluttershy exclaimed.

• Yeah! I love that song, it help me to concentrate. – Colgate said as she holds a hook shaped instrument with her magic. – Ok, let start with some general cleaning. You prepare the amalgam as I taught you.

• Damn it! That was embarrassing – Red said. - I'm sure that the Princess Koopa saw it all!

Red ran, well, galloped for long without knowing in which direction he was going until he reached a clearing where there was a ravine and an old hanging bridge. It was foggy but he did manage to see some ruins on the other side.

• Ah! That looks like a good place to establish a secret base!
  At the moment h puts a hoof in the bridge, this collapses into the ravine.

• Oh well.

With a small impulse he made a great jump and reached the other side. He walked to the ruins and from the distance he began to examine the structure.

He entered the ruins and began to explore them. There was not much left, just crumbled walls and broken furniture. He keeps exploring until he reached the final room; the very same room where the Elements of Harmony used to be. But the only thing is left is an empty pedestal.

• It seems that something important was kept in this room, and now is going to keep my ship.
  After moving the pedestal into a corner; he checked the pockets of his jacket.

• Good, It´s still here.

He took out the silver case from his pocket but he drops it because he doesn't know how to use his hooves.

• Oh crap, how does Zecora did it? Meh, I just will use my Ki to grab it.

He doesn´t even have to concentrate. The silver case was already floating in the air because an invisible force. The case opens in front of him. A fine collection of Hoi Poi Capsules also known as DynoCaps was displayed there. One of the doors opens and a little pink bunny and a little white kitty with short hair came out of that room. They don´t needed any explanation; they recognize their master and ran at his hooves and cuddle him.

• HeHe, I´m glad to see you too. Listen, I´m on a new mission. I hide the ship on a place that the local natives consider dangerous so nobody will come. I will return when I do a preliminary exploration and when I’m back I will take you for a walk. So stay indoors and don´t open to anybody, ok?

Both nodded.

He came out of the ship and the door closes automatically.

• Ok, let see. I sense a large group of presences in that direction. It must be a town. I'd better get out of the forest on foot, hehe, on hoof, for not to scare anyone.

• I can´t believe I actually did it! – Colgate exclaimed. - I made a complete dental reconstruction to a Manticore! I´m going to be famous! ….. As a second thought I don´t think that anypony will be pleased with me for returning to a Manticore the ability to eat ponies.

• He really looks happy. – Fluttershy said.

The Manticore was admiring his reflection on the creek at Fluttershy´s Cottage happily smiling with his new teeth. He suddenly turns around a runs directly at Colgate.

• No! Wait! Wait! Wait!
  She couldn’t move. She remembered the fear. The Manticore grabs her with his pawns and began to lick her in the head.

• Help! He´s tasting me! He´s tasting me! – She shouted.
  Fluttershy giggles.

• No you silly pony! He´s tanking you!

• Uh… A… are y… you s… sure? – She made nervous laugh.
  Fluttershy nodded as she smiled. When sudden she notices a red pony coming out of the forest.

• Uh? Wh… who is he? - She asked showing her usual shyness with strangers.

The Manticore sensed this and he considered him as a threat to her. He drops Colgate onto the ground and stood in front of the strange, growling.

• Good morning ladies, can you… Oh it is you! – He exclaimed.
  He was about to roar to him but he recognizes his smell. Scared, turns around and ran to stand behind Fluttershy and covers his head with fear.

• You! – Fluttershy exclaimed with anger. (She still looks cute anyway) – You were the one who hurt my friend, isn´t it mister?

• Wait, what? I don´t…

• Don't try to deny it mister! – She said as she walked towards him. – He already identified to you! So it is better to confess!
  He had Fluttershy stood in front of him, she force him to bend back.

• Confess!

She used “The Stare” on him. They maintained that position for several seconds. Nothing happened until he broke the silence.

• What are you doing? – He asked.

• I´m… using The Stare.

• I... see that but, for what?

• To… make you… confess… uh?

She began to lose confidence; she realized that it was not working.

• Well, I confess you have beautiful eyes.

-Uh? W…what? – Fluttershy blushes.

Now Red took the offensive, he walked towards her forcing her to walk back.

• Your long pink mane combines with your yellow coat. The way you keep your wings down because of the shyness is cute and your cutie mark is adorable.

The face of Fluttershy was all red because of the blushing. No pony has ever talked to her like that, Most of the time she was ignored or treated as doormat. She was paralyzed, his legs no longer respond, almost cried.

  Colgate and the Manticore were seeing all. The Manticore was confused; he hardly could understand what was happening.

Next to him, Colgate could not believe what she was seeing. It was as if she was watching a romantic soap opera, but it was actually happening! She tried to cover his face because it was very embarrassing for her. But she couldn’t unseen.

Just when Red was about to kiss her, he heard the sound of a door closing. He looked around but the only possible source of the sound was the door of Fluttershy´s Cottage. He turns back to Fluttershy but he was surprised to see that he was holding was a cloud of smoke in the shape of Fluttershy that immediately dissipates into the air. He shakes his head and realize what was about to do.

• Idiot! Idiot! – He said to himself as he hit on his head with his hooves. – What´s wrong with you, are you gonna try to hit on every girl you see?

He remembered that there was another girl there.

• Hello there toothpaste hair. How you doing?

Colgate got spooked and jumps behind the Manticore. (Ironic isn´t?)

• Damn it! Focus, just focus, you have a job to do.

He crossed the bridge at full speed and took the road to Ponyville. The Manticore was just sat there in silence until he finally said:

• What the hey just happened?

Red galloped ran down the road, he couldn´t stop thinking about what happened.

-“What the hell is happening? I always was a ladies man, well, a mares pony but, it’s like my libido is out of control for some reason. Calm down, just stick on the mission, once you concentrate on it you won´t think on anything else.

He kept running until he reached the limits of Ponyville.

• Finally. - He said. – With others males around I can control myself a little bit more… what the hell!

He stops just at Poniville´s Town Center. He looked around and he couldn´t believe the irony.

Lyra and Bon-Bon siting on a bench; Carrot Top selling carrots at her post; Junebug passing by with two baskets full of flowers; Daisy, Lilly and Rose attending their Flower Shop; Derpy delivering the mail; Marigold taking care of her garden patch; Aloe and Lotus entering into the Pony Spa; Berry Punch passing by, holding a brown paper bag on her back, the cork of a bottle of wine sticking out of the bag.

• You gotta be fucking kidding me! Is this some kind of cruel joke?

In that precise moment the bell of the Town Hall rang an everypony began to gather in front of it; just where Red was stood. He could not react in time, for when he realized he was already surrounded by MARES, MARES EVERYWHERE.

• “I´m not sure if this is a dream or a Nightmare” – He thought and began to hyperventilate.

The Mayor Mare came out of the Town Hall and stands behind the podium.

• Good morning everypony! – She said on the microphone. - I have some important announcements to make.

Red was about to snap, you can tell by the look on his face. (Lesson Zero)

• First of all, - The Mayor continued. – The Flower Festival is temporary cancelled due some technical difficulties.

Everypony: - Aaaaaaawwwwwnn!

Red: - AAARRRRRGGGGGGHHH! I can´t take it anymore! This can´t be true! This is a Nightmare!

He made his way through the ponies and fled the place.

Everyone was surprised by the reaction of the unknown pony.

• Well, - The Mayor said. – Looks like some pony really liked the flowers.

Everypony laughed.

• Calm down! – Red said – You just need something to distract you.

He perceives a delicious aroma and stops right in front of the Sugar Cube Corner.

• Oh! Good! A bakery! I could use a snack.

Without thinking, he went to the bakery in a hurry. Mr. Cake was attending the place at that moment.

-“Oh thanks Kami-Zama! A male!” – He thought.

• Welcome to the Sugar Cube Corner! – Mr. Cake greeted him. – May I help you?

• Quick! I want two dozen cupcakes, a dozen muffins, three boxes of assorted donuts and a chocolate cake!

Mr. Cake took note.

• Wow! – He exclaimed. – Are you having a party?

A female voice was heard from the basement.

• Honey! Could you help me with something down here?

• I´m coming Pumpkin! – He replied. - If you excuse sir, my employee will attend you in a moment. Pinkie Pie! Come here and attend this customer for me!

• I´m coming Mr. Cake! – A childish voice replied from upstairs.

• “Well, if she is too young for me, there will be no problem.” – Red Thougth.

Mr. Cake went downstairs and hoof steps could be heard coming forms upstairs and just when somepony should be seen come down the stairs. Pinkie Pie pops out from behind the counter.

• Hello! – Pinkie she greeted with a smile and lovely childish voice.

• YIKES! – Red exclaimed. – You scared me! Hey, how do you…? I don´t even…. Wow! You are fast!

• AAAAAAAAAAAA! – Pinkie Pie suddenly screamed.

• What!? What happened!? – Red asked surprised.

• A NEW PONY!

• Where!?

• You silly pony! You are the new pony! I know you are a new pony because I know everypony in town but I don´t know you.

Red started the long way home. Night fell so many businesses began to close. Along the way he was eating the cupcakes.

He passed by Fluttershy´s Cottage, she looked out through a window admiring the stars. He greeted her but she got scared to see it closed the window and turned off the lights.

• She´s cute as hell. – He said. - No wonder why Pinkie Pie is in love with her.

He entered the forest with ease. The gloomy atmosphere of the forest did not bother him. By the time he arrived at the ravine, only the Chocolate Cake was left. He eats it with one gulp. Red turn around and three Earth Ponies, two of them wearing bowling shirts, were before him.

The one who talked to him has a light brown coat, brown mane with a short haircut, a short beard and he was wearing yellow shades and has a sturdy complexion. His bowling shirt was green.

The second one was skinny with a light yellow coat with a dark grey mane; long face and an orange bowling shirt.

The third one was wearing a hooded sweater; it has brown coat, yellow mane with some light yellow; a small moustache and a goat´s beard.

Pinkie appeared from… somewhere.

• Let me introduce you to some of my oldest friends. – She said. – He´s Walter Coltchak.

• Well, most of the town is a little bit "girly" for our taste so most of the few stallions who live here spend most time in chatting in the stables, having a drink in the bar or playing in the bowling. Hey! – The Dude exclaimed. – Do you play bowling? In two months from now will start the League Tournament in Los Alicorns, we come to Ponyville to practice because its Bowling is less crowded here. • Kitty! Bunny! – Red exclaimed with anger. – What´s the meaning of this! I told you not to open to anybo… I mean anypony!
  The music stops, Spike also stops dancing. Kitty and Bunny puts a sad look.

• Ooowww, I just can´t get mad at you two! Come here you little fur balls!

Red hugged the pets with his fore legs. Then everypony made a big “Daaaaawwwwn”

• Hey DJ! – Spike exclaimed. – Hit on it!

The music played again and the party continued.

Red was drinking some punch while he was looking around. He notices some peculiarities among the ponies.

Pinkie approaches him.

• Do you like the party? – She asked.

• I should admit it was a nice surprise. – He replied. – Has been a long time since I was in a party.

• Why?

• It´s because my job, I travel a lot and I always leave behind many good friends.

• That’s awful! – Pinkie exclaimed.

• So I decided not to make more friends but ...

• You can´t do that! – Pinkie exclaimed. – No pony is an island, everypony need to have friends.

• I know, I thought I could, but it is hard to deny the friendship of such wonderful ponies; they are really enjoying it.

• Yeah! That’s why I like the parties so much! Because I like to pass time with all my friends!

Red pointed at an aquamarine colored Unicorn and a cream colored Earth pony. They were chatting.

• Shut up Donny! –Walter exclaimed. - Don´t worry Dude. I have not stopped watching them, they are only talking, and He has not tried to do anything weird, yet.

• Wow, you are very good at this. – Pinkie said. – Are you sure you aren’t some kind Psychologist?

• You are right. Hey Spike! – Pinkie shouted. - What´s up with Twilight? Why she hasn’t come yet?

• I´m not sure! – Spike replied. – She said that she had some pending work in the Treebary, she should be here any minute!

• Ok! – The she turns to Red – She should be here any minute.

• I heard. – Red said while he checks on his ears.

The party continues as normal, well, as normal as a Pinkie´s Party would be. He began to remember the crazy parties he
had with the Teen Titans in the Titan Tower. Cyborg preparing his stew of three meats, Beast Boy making bad jokes, Starfire
talking about the crazy customs with strange names of his home planet, Robin resisting to have fun for being obsessed with caught Slade, and Raven, always tucked in her books, but he always knew that, when no one was looking, she was smiling.
Red began to feel nostalgic. He finishes his punch and puts the empty glass on the table. Without even notices it he already learned how to use his hooves. Then he walked to the door.

• Hey Red! Where are you going? – Pinkie asked – The party is just beginning!

• I need fresh air, you may continue with the party as much as you want, my secrets are kept themselves. I will see you in the morning. – He left the ship.

For a moment everypony felt puzzled by these words.

• Oh well. – Pinkie said. – Let´s Party!

Everypony forgot about it and continued having fun; except for one pony in the other side of the room; a grayish amber Earth pony with a dark amber mane and an Hourglass in his flanks. He was very pensive as he looked around. A grayish mare Pegasus with blond mane and derpy eyes approaches him.

• There is something wrong Doctor? – She asked.

• Ditzy, he´s an alien! – He exclaimed.

• Of course he´s an alien, he´s not from here. – Ditzy said.

• No, I mean an extraterrestrial. He´s from another planet!

• That doesn´t make him an alien anyway?

• Well, yes, technically. But what I mean is that he´s not a real pony! This is not a house decorated like a space ship, it’s a space ship! That’s not a TV screen, is a monitor and that thing in the middle, well, I don´t know what is but it is definitely alien technology.

• Are you sure Doctor? – Ditzy asked.

• Of course I´m sure, I have a lot of experience dealing with many kinds of alien races and alien technology. I must admit that his disguise is very convincing; he must be some kind of changeling or he is using a very advanced portable hologram generator. A common pony must be crazy to walk alone in the Everfree Forest, especially at night; but Red wasn´t a common pony. For him, it was like a stroll in the park. He was so immersed in his memories that did not notice the young purple Unicorn coming at him; she was also distracted for reading a book that she was holding in front of her with his magic.

He struck her and knocked her and the book to the ground.

• Ouch! Hey! Watch out! – She said.

• No, your Majesty. – Kamek said while h´s typing. - Since he was attacked by the Manticore, I lost the signal of his Techno-Watch. There is a lot of interference and I cannot locate him.

• I guess for now he is on his own. I hope he's ok.

• I am more concerned about any pretty girl that can be crossed on his way.

• The local natives are ponies; there is nothing to worry about.
