Eli woke up to his sister calling him. He groaned, and asked what day it was.
"It's Friday!"
Eli groaned. He only had to make it through one more day, then he'd be free. He'd have to leave in a few hours to check up on his high-powered bow idea, then head for the meeting spot that was assigned for meeting to show the design to the Princessses and have them patented.
He got up, stretched his wings, and headed for his kitchen. His sister, Tamara, was there eating a hay sandwich.
"How's it goin', Tams?" Eli said.
"Good, I've got that job interview later today," Tamara said.
"Oh, yeah, the messenger one?"
"Yup! I heard that she's friends with the animal caretaker, Fluttershy! I'm going to be her messenger until she finds a more suited job for me, which kinda sucks, but it's still cool!"
"You're going to have to get me the last book in the Ancient Equestrian Warfare series." Eli laughed.
"I don't mean to derail the topic, but how's you Bow 2.0 thing going?"
"It's good, I've tested it several times, the only problem I ran into were that a normal arrow would break before being shot, so I had to improvise. The parts were also hard to come by, thankfully we have Dr. Hooves."
"Isn't he that crazy guy with the blue thing in his shop?"
"Yeah, he calls it a TARDIS. Whatever that is. You may need to get a book on that too."
They sat there for a while, and once Eli was done eating, he said, "Well, I'm heading out. When are you leaving?"
"In an hour. Also, I was planning on asking the purple unicorn, Twilight, if I could stay at her place once I get the job. Any objections?"
"No, just be careful. I don't want to lose my sister!"
"I'll try, but no promises will be made."
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Fifteen minutes later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli arrived at the public workshop in town. In it people could pay 10 bits for an hour, and they could come in and design whatever they wanted to. Eli got in free because he knew the owners of the shop and he helped them pay off the cost of the shop. He went to his work space, pulled the prototype out of his saddlebags, and looked it over.
It was made of oak wood, straight from the Everfree Forest, for some reason it was sold in Ponyville, and the string was from lashings that were also from the forest. It fired a fourteen inch quarrel with an iron tip.
Eli went to test it one more time. He grabbed a wing-full of quarrels, put them in his saddlebag, then grabbed the prototype and put it on top of the quarrels. He walked out and headed for the hills outside of the town.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Five minutes later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli reached the hills, and walked up to his hoof-made shooting range. It was made of several boxes with tin cans on top of them.
He pulled out the prototype and some quarrels, loaded the quarrel into the weapon, pointed it at one of the cans, and pulled the trigger.
The string launched forward, moving the quarrel as well, and the quarrel launched at the can. The can was impaled and was attached to the ground. Eli did a hoof-pump, and grabbed quarrel in the can. The Princesses were meant to meet him there in a few hours, so he walked around, grabbed some food, and headed back.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
One hour later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli looked up to see a golden chariot with four royal guards driving it headed for the hill Eli was on. Once it landed, Princess Luna got out of the chariot, and she started talking.
"Hello, Eli. Prithee bewray us thy prototype and dilate what 'tis and how it works. "
"Yes, Princess." Eli took out the prototype and quarrels set them on the ground. "This is the crossbow. It fires quarrels, or bolts. The way it fires is by pulling this trigger, which moves a metal part in the weapon that releases this string that launches the quarrel forward. I made it to allow Pegasus and Earth Ponies to be able to work as more effective archers so they wouldn't be stuck with swords and spears on the front lines if they couldn't operate a bow."
"Interesting, I like the idea, but f'r anon, i will let the warmaster decide if it will be useful."
The Warmaster was a stallion who was rarely seen, for Equestrians are a peace-loving nation, and only one war had ever started, and was ended after only six months.
The Warmaster took the crossbow, aimed it at a can, and pulled the trigger. The can goes flying, and the Warmaster hands the crossbow back.
"It is useful, and seems to be more useful than a bow. Some would disagree, but it is still useful. A scope of sorts may be needed for unskilled users that aren't unicorns, but that can be fixed. It is approved by me. The Princess will take it from here."
Princess Luna started speaking. "Thank thou, Horus. Eli, we will meet hither in three days to buy the manufacturing rights, and f'r thou to train the warmaster with the weapon and the mazzard engineer on how to build it. Goodbye. "
Princess Luna and the Warmaster got into the chariot and it flew away. Eli dropped by Bon Bon's shop to get some candy for Tamara's arrival, and headed back to his house.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
15 minutes later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
He got to his house, and saw that Tamara wasn't there. He assumed that she was allowed to stay at Twilight's place after all. Eli went to his bed and went to sleep.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
10 hours later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli woke and looked at his clock. It was 8:27.
'Celestia, I'm lucky that I don't have work today. I'm going to need to hire Tamara to wake me up every day.'
He heard a knock at his door. He got up and went to go see who was there, and when he opened the door, he saw Tamara. She was talking to a tiny, purple dragon.
"I don't see why you need to accompany me everywhere." Tamara said.
"Well, it's your first day, and Twilight told me she had to write a letter to the Princess about being boastful, so I'm free for a bit." the purple dragon said.
"So? You don't hav- Oh, ahem, hey, Eli! I got you that book you that book you wanted, and Twilight Sparkle wanted me to leave you a package."
"Oh, tell her I said thanks!" Eli took the package.
"Also, this purple dragon here is Spike, Twi's assistant."
"Hi."
"So, how'd the meeting with the Princesses go?" Tamara asked.
"Great! The Warmaster and the Princess liked it! I have to meet them in a few days to give them the blueprint."
"Warmaster?"
"He is the person that dictates battles."
"I know what it is, I just didn't know Equestria had one."
"Yeah, I think it's because there aren't very many wars. Or any conflict at all, actually."
"Huh, I'll have to ask Twilight about that. Hey, do you want to continue this conversation tomorrow at lunch?"
"Sure, see you tomorrow! Bye, Spike."
Eli closed the door as Tamara walked away, and opened the package. It had an object that Eli didn't recognize. There was a note attached to it, it read:
'Dear Eli,
Tamara told me about how she usually wakes you up in the morning so you won't be late for things, and since she's living with me now, I assumed you needed something to wake you up in the morning, This is an alarm clock, a new machine that can start ringing at the time you set it. Tamara told me the time she usually woke you up at, so I set it to that time.
Your faithful neighbor, Twilight Sparkle.'
Eli put the alarm clock on his bed-side table and went to go work.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
One day later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli went to the only restaurant in town to meet up with Tamara. He found her at one of the tables, and sat down.
"So, how's work goin' for you?" Eli said.
"Good, Twi is sending me to Manehatten tomorrow. Said I had to give a package to a mare named Octavia. I-"
"Wait, Manehatten? Isn't that the place full of gangsters who steal and murder as they please? I wouldn't go there if I were yo-"
"Twilight said she'd been there many times and that I'd be safe. I'll be fine. Besides, I've learned a thing or two about you. I can buck the crap out of someone if I have to!"
"Okay, just... Try not to get hurt. I'd like to keep my sister, thank you very much."
"I may have to stay longer depending on the weather, the weather pegasi are being indecisive."
They talked for a while longer, but after awhile, Tamara had to leave.
"Okay, once again, be careful in Manehatten. I may not be there to say goodbye tomorrow, so sorry if I miss your departure." Eli said as she was leaving.
"Once again, I will. I mean, I'm the sister of of the engineer who made the 'next big weapon'. I think I'll be safe."
"Okay, bye."
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
3 days later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
After Eli missed his sister's departure, he started working again.
He was thinking of a way to improve the quarrels, possibly coating them in a metal to stop the quarrels from breaking on impact, but that wouldn't work. The tip wouldn't pierce due to how slow it would travel.
Maybe a light metal could be put on it, something to keep it from snapping. Quarrels were already pretty thick, yeah, maybe that would work.
He had been throwing these ideas around in his head while trying to see what ways he could redesign the bow. Later on, on the third day, he remembered what the Warmaster said, about the scope. He pulled out some paper and started drawing. He knew he'd have to learn about how scopes for bows and cannons were designed, how he'd have to learn about them.
An hour later, after reading through his books about ancient Equestrian warfare, he learned that none of his books even mentioned scopes. If the Warmaster talked about it, then why isn't it in the books? Maybe it's something new. Maybe there is a book at Twilight's library. No, if it's new, and ponies don't like war, then why would there be books on it? Then again, the books were from Equestrian civilizations from several hundred years ago. Maybe the scope was invented after the time the books were about, there has to be a book on it in the library, if not, then he still had to return the one book, maybe he could buy it. He had plenty of bits, or was soon to.
Eli looked outside. It was pitch black.
"Oops." Eli said.
He went to bed after he realized how tired he was. Tomorrow, he thought, I will tell the Warmaster about the plans. After I get the books.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
6 hours later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli woke up to the alarm clock ringing, He got up, he only had a few hours before he had to go to the hill, he had time to get the books.
He got up, ate some food, then headed out at 7. He walked out to Twilight's library, then he realized how empty Ponyville looked. Ponyville was the place you went when you had an odd talent that no other major jobs in big cities needed, like construction or paperwork, Ponyville was the place where anyone can find use for your talents.
That was the main reason he and Tamara had moved to Ponyville, Tamara had to finish college in Cloudsdale, so in his free time while not working at his store job, he would work on his second job, engineering. He got a degree in it, and he always wanted to make a suit of armor that could function as a one-man-army of sorts, having several different weapon on the armor that could fight and entire army. Then one day he realized that that idea was impossible for the current technology, he didn't know how to make the tech that he needed, and that the idea was slightly stupid. He still has plans.
He reached the library and knocked on the door. Spike answered the door.
"Hello? What would you like?" Spike asked.
"Um, I came to return a book, Ancient Equestrian Warfare: Book Four, and wanted to know if you had a book about scopes." Eli replied.
A different voice spoke up right as Spike was about to reply.
"Scopes? Like, the ones on bows and cannons?" Eli assumed that this was Twilight.
"Yes, I am an engineer, and I was planning on making one. My name's Eli."
"Eli, as in Tamara's brother? Come in, I will start looking for the book."
Eli and Spike entered the tree-home. He was right, the mare that replied was Twilight, and she was looking through all of her books at max speed.
"Spike, do you remember if we have any books about weapon scopes?"
"Not in memory, but I can look again."
"Uh, you don't have to trouble yourself too much, I can order a book on it or an actual scope from any of the big cities, or just go there myself. I wouldn't be too much trouble. Actually, I was planning on buying this book from you. I have a collection I wan-"
"Aha, I found one!"
Twilight levitated a book to Eli.
"Here, now, what was it you were saying."
"I said I was planning on buying this book, the Ancient Equestria Warfare one. Is that allowed?"
"Yes, it is, however, I would rather not. I like keeping my library the same, missing a book would drive me crazy. Also, I can order you a scope if you would like so you won't have to leave town. I will probably arrive in a week or two."
"That sounds fine to me, I can pay you now if you would wish."
Twilight nodded, so Eli gave her some bits, left the Warfare book, took the scope book, and left. He headed for the hill.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
15 minutes later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli arrived on the hill, and just in time. The chariot landed just a minute later after he arrived. Luna got out of the charriot and walked up to hin. He knelled.
"Eli, 'ere any deals art made, will thou accept a total of 500,000 bits f'r the rights of making the crossbows?"
Eli coughed when he heard this. An apple, which is essentially breakfast, cost him two bits! 'That's a lot of breakfast', he thought.
"Uh, I think I'll take that deal." He took out a copied version of the blueprints. "Why so much?"
"Becasue," Luna started. "this couldst be a very useful tool in the Equestrian Military."
"Oh. Well then. Who will I give the blueprints to?"
Another voice spoke up. "That would be me."
A man in a coat walked up and took it with his telekinesis. He summoned a table and put the print on it. He looked it over for a second and said, "Okay, please show me prototype."
Eli took it out of his bag, along with a quarrel, and gave it to who he assumed was the head engineer for Canterlot. The engineer looked it over, looked at Luna, and said, "I can replicate this."
The Warmaster walked up to Eli and started talking to him.
"I see not many changes have been made to the weapon, thankfully. I like the original design. Have you taken the scope into consideration?"
"I've been thinking of ideas of improving it, such as better ammunition, and yes, I am planning on getting a scope. I have a book I am studying and have a scope being shipped in a week or two."
"Good, try not to make to many changes. We don't want people looking back on your designs and going, 'Wow. The current design sucks. They should've stuck with this.'"
"So, do you still need training?"
"Actually, Princess Luna wanted to talk to you about that."
Eli turned, only to come face to face with Princess Luna. He yelped and jumped back. She sighed.
'Uh, s-sorry.'
"We would request that thou come to Canterlot to train our troops personally, along with Warmaster Horus."
"Um, yes Pricess. When must I leave?"
"Early tomorrow."
'It's like she's looking right through me!'
The trip wouldn't be something hard for him to achieve, he didn't have anything planned, he would just miss Tamara's return. Then again, the weather ponies said that they were leaning on dropping heavy weather soon, so she may be stuck there for a while. The trip wouldn't take him long, the crossbow wasn't that hard to master, just a matter of learning how to aim properly and how to hold it.
"I will be there tomorrow."
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The next day.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli got off of the train. The trip only took him about three hours, he brought his book and other plans along with him to have something to do.
He walked down the street and looked at the paper Luna gave him. It told him where to go and when to leave. He first had to go to his hotel, The Rock Hard.
'Did she set me up with a hotel or a spa with a stupid name?'
He reached to hotel, and he was kind of right. It was a hotel and a spa.
"What even. I can't. Why? Am I being screwed with? I think I'm being screwed with. How did I even reach the conclusion that it was a spa?"
Baffled, Eli entered the hotel-spa. He was greeted with two mares that looked bored.
'I swear I've seen then somewhere, maybe from Ponyville- Wait, they're the sisters who run the spa back in Ponyville! Huh, wonder what they're doing here.'
"Um, excuse me, I would like to check in. I have a reservation."
They pulled out a book and looked in it.
"Oh, right, your room is upstairs."
They gave him his room number and Eli went to go rest for a bit.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
One day later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli got back from training the troops, it wasn't too hard, most of them got it after awhile. The Warmaster told him that the others could teach each other if needed, and that he could leave.
He learned that the weather in Manehatten had cleared up, so Tamara would probably be home by the time he got back. He would head out early tomorrow, he didn't want to be in Canterlot any longer than he had to. Less of a chance of getting mugged.
'Actually, I think Canterlot is one of the nicest cities in Equestria, there's a very slim chance I'll get mugged here. Why am I being so cautious?'
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
One day later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli got off the train and headed for his house. He was going to drop his stuff off, then head for Twilight's house to see Tamara. He needed to head to the market anyway, he needed to get some music for his trombone. He was getting bored with the current stuff.
'Strange thing to sell in the market, orchestras are becoming less common as the day's go by. That Dubstep crap is is becoming the new fad for music. Actually, I kinda like Dubstep...' Eli thought.
He reached his house, dropped off his stuff, and left. Once he reached Twilight's house, he knocked on the door, and Spike opened it.
"Oh, um, hi! What do you need?"
"Oh, I came to see Tamara. She is here, right?"
"Um, no." Spike looked away, and Twilight walked up to the door. "We got a phone call this morning from her saying that she would be stuck there a while longer."
"What?! Screw that crap, I'm going to hop on a train and go get her!"
Eli started to walk away, but Twilight grabbed his leg with her magic.
"Calm down, Eli. She'll be fine." Twilight said.
"Am I the only one who thinks it's a bad idea going to Manehatten? Let me go, Twilight!"
"Look, Eli, I understand that you're worried, but she will come back in one piece."
"How would you know that?! Have you heard the stories about that place?! And don't give me that 'I've been there before' crap, you're the pupil of a God!"
"Look, just give her a few days. I'm sure she'll be okay."
Eli sighed. "Fine, I'll give her three days. After that, I'm going after her."
"Okay, I trust you'll follow that commitment."
"I'll try."
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
One day later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli spent ten hours trying and succeeding on building a second crossbow, it was easier now that he had more experience building them. The scope came in, and he replicated it and put both scopes on the bows.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
One day later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli was terrified at this point. He was sitting in a corner, wondering when his sister would arrive. He was a second away from hopping on a train and raiding every building in Manehatten to find her.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Another day later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli was prepared to leave. He had packed his bags, he had bits, and he had had the crossbows just incase. He was deciding if he should just go right away or tell Twilight if he was going.
'The more time I waste here, the more chances there are for Tams to be hurt!' a part of his thoughts said.
'But then Twilight would be worried, and it won't take us long.'
Eli knew that it would be wrong to not tell her, so he set out to tell Twilight where he was going.
When he reached her front door, he put his hoof up to knock, but stopped when he heard her talking to someone.
"Twi, your gunna need to talk to him soon enough anyway. Might as well get it out."
Eli recognized that voice, it was the mare that worked at Sweet Apple Acres!
Twilight spoke up. "I- I'm sorry, but I don't know how I would tell him!"
Someone else interrupted her. "We can help tell him, if you need." Wait, that sounded like the mare who worked at the dress shop!
"Look, I can't-!"
Another pony interrupted her. She sounded like the Pegasus who lived in the Everfree Forest, the one Tamara was always geeking over."Twilight, is there a spell to bring her back?"
Eli's eyes widened.
'No, nononono they cannot be talking about her! There's no way-'
"Yes, I've quadruple checked all of my books! I can't find a spell to bring back Tamara!"
Eli froze.
'She's- She's dead?! How long has Twilight been keeping this from me?!'
The mare from Sweet Apple Acres started talking again. "Twi, you've been keeping this secret for six days! You're gunna have to tell him!"
"Argh, fine! But I'm going to need your help-"
The doorknob turned, and when the door opened, and everyone inside was greeted to a very angry Eli.
"Oh! Um, hi Eli. How, um, long have you been standing there?" Twilight shifted uncomfortably.
"You've been keeping this a secret for how long, again?"
"Um..." Twilight looked down at the ground.
"Tell me... Who did this... Right now...."
Eli was shaking with anger and sadness. He had taken care of her for years, trying to support them after Tamara got back from college. Eli was the only person she had to go to after their father died while their mother was on another continet. She had barely gotten out of college, and now she's dead. Whoever did this was going to pay.
"It was a gang in Manehatten, they're the Horseshoes. Eli, please don't do something stupid!" Twilight said.
"Horseshoes, ey? What a stupid name." Eli walked off to board the nearest train to Manehatten. He was going to find them, and they would pay.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Four hours later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli got off of the train, and headed for the nearest hotel he could find. He dropped off his things, and headed back out. He headed for a clothes shop near the hotel, and bought a hoodie that was to big for him, because he needed to cover his Cutie Mark and face for what he was going to do.
He walked back to his hotel and waited until night.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Five hours later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli left his hotel with the hoodie on, walked to another road, and flew to the roof of a random building.
It didn't cause him much trouble, while he did walk to most places, he was still good at flying. He used to be a messenger for the mayor of Cloudsdale for awhile, after all. That job forced him to fly from Cloudsdale to Ponyviille everyday for several weeks, until he quit the job. After that, he settled down in Ponyville and helped start up his friend's workshop, and continued to work on the crossbows in private.
Eli continued on his way, he wen around the town while waiting, and learned where the Horseshoes' base was located, it was located in a shoe warehouse. When he reached it, he flew over to the warehouse, and looked into it.
On the inside of the warehouse, he saw them around a table. The table had a map with colored salts on it. Each color seemed to represent some sort of "clan," such as the Royal Guard or other gangs. Eli listened in on their conversation.
"...A will enter from here, and Group B will attack here to distract the Guard so we can sneak in and take them out. Group C and D will be on standby just in case something goes wrong."
Eli smiled. They were trying to take out the Princessses, they'd been trying for months. 'They don't realize how powerful the Princesses are, do they? God, these guys are such morons. How do they even expect to transport their men all the way to Canterlot, anyway? I guess they could slowly send more people by train, or travel by wagon, but that doesn't change the stupidity of it.'
He noticed that one of them had a bruise on their head, looked like someone had bucked them recently.
'Looks like she did some damage before goin' down.'
Eli pulled out the crossbows and aimed at the gangster who was talking. He hit him right in the ear, and the gangster went down quickly. The others looked confused, and Eli took the moment to pick off another.
He had counted before taking the shot, there were 12 of them counting the ones he took down. He reloaded his crossbows, and heard hooves hitting metal. They were coming up the stairs.
Eli got ready to jump off of the roof, into the glass, and glide down into the building. There would be cover there. They burst through a door at the top, and started to lunge at him. He shot one in the chest and another in the shoulder, pinning them to the wall. He jumped off and landed beside the map-table.
He reloaded the bows, and waited for them to come back. When he was reloading, he caught a quick glimpse of his bag. He didn't have enough quarrels to take the rest of them down. He searched the body of the gangsters near the table, and found a large knife. He put it in his bag for when he would need it.
They they ran to the bottom floor to fight Eli. He glimpsed from the edge of the table to see what they had.
Nothing much. Most of them had knifes like the one Eli had, but others had things such as rocks, and one had a Molotov. He had an idea.
He ran out of the table and fired for the bottle. He missed, but it hit the gangsters arm instead, causing them to drop the bottle. The explosion set three of them on fire, and the other gangsters put them down. Eli got a few shots off in the meantime, two more of them. He had run out of quarrels due to most of his shots missing.
He had killed all of the ones that posed any sort of threat. He got out of cover and pulled out the knife.
He never had any sort of training with a knife, but it couldn't be that hard to use. It's a tiny sword, it couldn't be that complicated!
One of the gangsters lunged at him, he dodged and cut them, knocking them to the ground. In the meantime, the another one attacked Eli by stabbing him in the shoulder. Eli stabbed him in the throat as they did this, but before he could deal with the other two, he was hit in the head with a rock.
It merely dazed him, but it still gave the third gangster time to grab him and knock the knife from his hands. The gangster pushed him into the wall, along with his good arm. Eli attempted to kick him, but it didn't do much. He was trapped, and about to be killed.
The gangster smiled, but as the second one pulled his knife arm back, quarrels was lodged into both of their throats. They both crumpled. The quarrels were taken out, and Eli was punched in the face, knocking him out.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Three hours later.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eli woke in chains. He tugged at the, and they wouldn't budge. He looked up to see he was face-to-face with Pricess Luna. He yelped.
"Hello again, Eli." She sounded annoyed.
"Um, hello, Princess."
"Nice moves out hither, tonight."
'Oh crap, she saw that?! I'm going to be killed!'
"Um, thank you Princess."
"Alright, so, down to business. i had thou brought hither to striketh a dealeth with thou. Thou can eith'r accepteth mine dealeth 'r be amerced f'r the crimes thoust commit'd tonight."
"Uh I think I'll accept your deal."
"Good. So, thou will actually not be told what I will hast thou join. We will fake thy death, and people will forget about thou. Thou will live in the shadows of the castle, and thou will doth mine bidding. Doth thou accept these terms?"
Eli thought about it. He had no more family, besides his mother, so not many people would actually miss him, he could live with being seperated from others, and seving Luna was something he wouldn't mind, depending on what he had to do. Besides, he really had no other choice.
"Yes, Princess."
"Good."
And with that, Luna left him in the cell for the night.
Author's Note
Wow, thank god that's done. Took me weeks to finish this behemoth. Now, if you like it, then your wait is probably gonna be a while. /: Sorry, but I've got a list of story ideas I want to crank out, most of them Dark Souls related, but I have another MLP story planned, I'll have info about it up once I'm back into the mood of writing it.
Thanks for reading!
